I was last here in 2010. A lot has changed in 12 years. It has a feel of one of many international airlines I frequented in the past. Many self-serve stations and kiosks. Everything can be done with smartphones. It is actually a disadvantage if you aren't technically adept. From what I have seen, everyone is wearing masks and security is enforcing mask wearing.

YYZ - domestic flight via Air Canada

Pearson international airport is nice and clean. Lots of stores inside and can almost be like it's own shopping destination on its own. Places to eat and drink. Lounges for the wealthy/elites and benches for the rest of us.

There's even a small kids play area. Though personally, they should make it larger and geared towards everyone.

With the amount of time spent waiting for your flight, you'd think that they should partner up with Playdium/The Rec Room to offer this. Have some video games or something to kill time.

No real complaints. The staff try to do what they can given the resources available. Sure it can be better but there's no infinite money either.

Still a great airport. Though washrooms could be more modernized.

This is a small but functional airport and with a nice interior. There are plenty of places to sit and rest, drink coffee or eat something in the various restaurants.

The exit for flights to the US is separated from international flights. Everything went smoothly when I arrived to this airport and when I left. Thumbs up!

Plenty of good eats in terminal one while you’re waiting for people to arrive on the many different airlines that park at terminal one. Was there on a Wednesday at about 5 o’clock plenty of space to walk around lots of seats to sit in very clean airport terminal . Everything clearly marked easy to find where you’re going.

Pearson International Airport in Toronto is a traveler's dream when it comes to transportation connectivity. The convenience and efficiency of its transport options make it a top-notch airport for getting in and out of the city.

The UP Express train service, which connects the airport to downtown Toronto, is a true gem. It's fast, reliable, and a cost-effective way to avoid traffic. The presence of multiple public transit options, including buses and the TTC subway, makes it easy to explore the city or reach your destination in the Greater Toronto Area.

Was at the Toronto Pearson Airport last Saturday , haven't been travelling by plane for nearly 3 years because of the pandemic. The last few months, the Pearson Airport got all the bad comments because of the poor management . I arrived the airport 4 hours before the scheduled fly time for just in case. To my surprise, they have improved a lot, and everything went smoothly and I have 3 hours to relax and enjoyed my breakfast. Some new shops and I can find the place is cleaner and brighter. Good to see that our airport is back to normal . Watching the deicing team working at the runway for each plane is amazing.

Great Airport. Organized and clean, never had any issues coming or leaving through this airport. Had better experiences here than Billy Bishop, which is downtown. This place does definitely get hectic when a flight arrives, but everyone seems to understand the rules of quick pick up and go. Security and police are pretty chill and considerate if you need a bit more time for something. I have nothing bad to say about this airport.

It's a big Airport with a lot of space for international flights to take off and land. It has provided efficient services and a clean environment, making the travel experience smooth. However, the limited dining options and occasional delays left me with mixed feelings. Overall, it was a well-maintained facility with room for improvement in certain areas. I had the not-so-good experience of travelling with Air Canada on the way.

Thought this place would be flashier since it’s Toronto. Staff were professional and helpful. Plenty of places to get a snack or bite to eat. Vending machines to tempt you (cake? Wow). It’s was fairly straightforward to get around and easy to navigate. Security staff were professional and efficient. Wish the chairs at the gates had plugs for charging. Some parts felt a bit tired however the place is overall good. No problems coming through here again.

Pretty busy today. But all lines moving. The international section of terminal 1 has some cool art. It's pretty nice. I just discovered that air Canada has a special lounge for their business class customers, on certain rules only, where they serve a 3 course suit down meal. Like a high end restaurant for the best ac customers.

Big airport with lots of crowd. Unexpectedly there was a magic show right after the security check, which was pretty entertaining to see. There is also a free cinema room for passengers waiting for their flight. Overall, there are different things to keep you busy before your departure.

Huge airport, multiple terminals connected via shuttle train. Every terminal is different depending on airlines I guess. Depending on the time of the day and week, plus on the season, the terminal can be busy. There's a separate area for Ubers and other ride app pickups. There also is a bus stop for public buses in front of terminal 1. Huge parking spaces, cars for pickups are usually not allowed to wait in front of the arrivals/departures

A very good, large airport. Cleanliness and service at a good, high level. All necessary services are available. Professional employees. Quick check and processing of all documents. All transportation is available for transportation. A good selection of car rental companies. Convenient, inexpensive, multi-level parking lot for cars. A wide selection of food and drinks. The presence of all national airlines of Canada, as well as other world representatives. It is very convenient to use for business and any trips. A good and positive impression. Well done!

This airport (like all American airports) follow piece concept instead of Weight concept. That means , if your air line allow 2 Check-in bags of Max weight 23 kg each, then you cannot carry more than 2 bags even if the total weight is less than 46 kg(23+23).

On international passengers arrival, they have digital kiosk to fill your declaration on arrival in Canada which is very user friendly.

Cool airport is known for its frequent rush and heavy traffic. Destination for new travelers, students, and immigrants. If you're an international traveler, it's advisable to arrive at least 2.5 hours before your flight to ensure a smooth experience. Most of the staff at the airport are friendly and helpful. Parking fees are $6 for 20 minutes. The airport offers all the essential amenities, including restaurants, coffee shops, and other necessity stores.

It is a well organized International Airport. It respects the rights and privileges of all. It has elevators for those who have challenges and cannot move faster with their hand luggage. It has resting seats for those who may become tired on the way to their boarding wings. Free WiFi, late arrivals from 10pm should eat at entry before going to their boarding gate which may be more than 3km away. There are internal cabs to assist movement even though elevators are still available. As much as possible, their flight schedules are kept to time. There are adequate signposts, announcements and human assistants but the announcements are rarely audible beyond the boarding or departure wings. In all it is customer friendly

Very nice airport that only lacks in terms of staffing for customs and international transfers. The airport is clean and quiet, has several 🍩🍔🥪☕ food options, a pet station, duty free shopping, ample restrooms that are ♿ handicap accessible, and more. Also lots of seating with charging ports.

Tornado Pearson International Airport is large with a lot of signage . Thank for clear signage. They staff are out and about to assist to your gates. TSA into the USA is a breeze. This is one the fastest TSA I’ve experienced. Gate setting had plenty of seating as we waited for the boarding announcement. We took a tram onto the flight tarmac to our plane we’re we were allowed to either board the front of the plane or the back of the plane. This was one of the fastest boarding I have experienced. Thank you Air Canada 🇨🇦

Fantaaaaastic Airport with great amenities.

Staff is courteous and the immigration and customs officers on duty are welcoming to visitors.

The self declaration kiosks save soooo much time.

So the queues are short.

The bags arrived in good shape and exit is wide so no overcrowding of passengers on coming out of the airport.

It's a lovely airport, hugely improved as compared to what it was in 2022 . I don't know how they did it but it looked spacious, more facilities at every gate and the digital arrangements at every table to enquire about flights, boarding, ordering snacks and beverages . Previously it was there but so much of crowding and difficulties in finding place .

Excellent and efficient arrangements for boarding passes, baggage checkin, wheelchair, boarding pass printing and security, emigration etc. The staff is so helpful and smiling 😃

This is the biggest airport in Canada and the gateway to the country. The immigration here is very smooth, which is probably the best thing about it. There are three terminals, two on site and one in the field, for which a separate bus needs to be taken. Overall, in spite of being big, you don't feel lost, and everything is marked well.

The most confusing and crowded airport I've been to. If it's your first time here, don't be afraid to ask for assistance. They have very helpful staff, they assisted me with all my needs. You have to check in your own bags at one of their many kiosk. They have strict guidelines as to oversize luggage, which you then have to check in at a separate line. If you have a morning flight, I recommend getting there 3-4 hours early, or you will miss your flight. The tsa lines are insane.

When traveling from Canada to the United States, it is recommended to arrive at the airport three hours prior to your flight. This suggestion is mainly attributed to the potentially long queues at U.S. Customs. U.S. Citizens have a designated line, which may vary in length depending on the season, ranging from lengthy waits to no wait at all. Passengers are required to pass through the duty-free shop located in the corridor leading to the terminal. The waiting area is somewhat limited in size, and during my experience, the restrooms were kept in good condition.

It's a smooth process for check-in, and a self-serve bag drop is convenient. They could use more seats and lounge areas as its a very busy airport. The staff are helpful if you need assistance.

As with any airport, delays can happen and long line ups can occur so plan in advance. But overall, most terminals are spacious with lots of seating, there are places to get food (pricey), and employees are friendly. In some cases you may have to walk quite a lot, but they do try to make it as accessible as possible. There is a train connecting the different terminals, and a train that goes directly to the city centre departing every 15 minutes. When operating well, you can be off the plane, through customs and pickup your luggage within 30 minutes from landing. Of course this time can increase dramatically depending on the day. Pick up/drop off areas can get busy so it helps to know your way around. This is a world class airport.

Have been traveling from Pearson airport for years and never had any problems. You need to be somewhat familiar so you don't end up walking a lot. Overall otherwise it's a good airport. Big airport, sometimes confusing. They have flight numbers, the gates and the zones. In case you don't know, zones are just the distinction between business class and grouping the seat numbers in economy class. So, zone 1 might be just the business class, zone 2 might be those who have seat numbers between 30 to 50 and likewise. Zones will be mentioned in your boarding pass.

Despite the confusion, I loved my overall experience at the airport ❤️

Best airport in Canada, the design is super simple to get around. There are a tons of restaurants and store once you are behind the security area. The main terminal (terminal 1) is very modern and has all the things you want in an airport. The main parking lot is great as well and houses all the car rental companies. It is super easy to get there in general as the road system around the is very well designed. The is also a train that goes to right down town Toronto. They have done everything possible to make it is easiest and best airport in Canada.

Be prepared for about 6-7 checkpoints regardless if you're vaccinated. My goodness that was intense, every few feet you're asked to show your passport 6-7 times! All I can advise is to just be as informed as you can possibly be, there were about 3 surprise forms I needed to fill out that I had no clue of prior. Trust me, you're lucky if make it out in under 30 minutes. Until all of this is lifted, traveling isn't worth it right now, especially when coming back to Canada(even being fully vaccinated).

✌🏽4 stars because I got awesome agents

Bright side: it wasn't packed and I made it out alive

I liked this airport...I've experienced flights from both terminals and prefer terminal 1....which is where I spent most of my comfort time while on layovers.

The arriving passenger to immigration process was quite fast and efficient, I don't think I ever went through this process of any airport to baggage claim so quickly...so much so I had to ask a local if this is the norm, he said yes!...or maybe it's the time of day I arrived?

You do your declaration and everything online before you arrive and still have to wait in a queue in other countries, I appreciated the arrivals hall area with comfortable seating and many ATM machines to choose from.

The conveniences of a Tim Hortons and 7/11 24 hours was just ideal for a tired traveler, I was even more impressed with the 7/11 offerings for food and a variety of beverages at affordable prices.

Subway and Booster juice on second floor...also access to the UP Express train to downtown Toronto...the airport has a good few security officers which is really nice even after hours their presence could be felt all-around to keep people safe in case of any eventualities.

It's clean and comfortable and seems to be in good shape both inside and outside with maintenance and cleaning crew.

Everything still moves slowly but I got my drink at my table within 5 minutes so no complaints.

It was also nice to use the Nexus lane again. It was a bit tricky to find but was worth it for the added convenience.

This airport looks newly renovated/built, has a very modern appearance. I didn’t realize there’s separate entrance for TSA /Global Entry until an agent pointed out to me. It was breeze through security and immigration. Global entry made the process expedited and convenient.

After passing the security, Terminal 1 ground floor has all the gates, shops, duty free shopping and restaurants. I didn’t fond much variety in stores, seemed like only limited number of them within the area.

Lots of sitting area around the gates. Each gate has clear view of the boarding details. Our boarding was on time and smooth. Much different and better experience than last time.

All things considered, it was a very good, very clean, and extremely efficient airport. But the atmosphere, service, and people have made spending time here, even if just for a few hours, a worthwhile experience! The friendliness of the workers is something I appreciate the most. They work well together. Proper information system about the important announcements. For me, it was a fantastic visit.

Was pleasantly surprised at how efficient everything was. Right from disembarking the airplane there were clear signs and ground staff to help. The Arrive Can app made it easy to upload travel docs, pcr and vaccinations. The airport has a system of number of people in the customs line so I could only see traveller's I came with. What more impressive is that they have porters taking bags down from carousel and placing them in lines. This is amazing for someone like me who can never pick up my bags from the belt. Heavy presence of security, sniff dogs made it feel extra safe.

I find Toronto Pearson International Airport organized and clean. A world class airport with complete security and technical expertise to meet global standards. I use this airport for all my travel locally and internationally. The structure itself is properly designed and maintained. Staff and crew have a respectful attitude towards diverse cultures.

Large airport with a great variety of shops to browse in as well as restaurants to stop and eat at while waiting for your flight. Connecting flights are easy to get to for domestic flight changes.

Lots of drop off and pick up areas, and the taxi pick-ups are easy to find.

We were in Toronto for a few days between flights and the Excess Baggage Company was EXCELLENT for leaving our larger suitcases so we didn’t have to carry them around.

High traffic airport! Aircraft Gate to Baggage claim area is a bit too far compared to other international airports! Airport can add more moving escalators or device plans to reduce the distance that tired travelers to walk! Installation & implementation of New Electronic immigration kiosks and fastening the process using electronic technology is AMAZING!
