I liked that there was an easy access to car rental center. No need to board a bus or train to access it. Nice airport. Relatively clean and TSA staff are friendly and professional. CLEAR service available at this airport.

One of my favored airports if I need to layover. Open, spacious, and lots of live music in the many bars and eateries. 3 hour layovers are a breeze at Nashville. Refurbs are also pleasing!

Recently refurbished and built out to accommodate more restaurants and shops in the terminal area. It’s beautiful! With several popular local restaurants like Tootsies, Hattie B’s and Ole Red all located under one roof! Super cool, welcoming and very pleasing to the eye when arriving in Nashville.

Went in July. Lots of walking and construction! Beautiful airport! Very crowded on our 6am flight. Airport does use CLEAR got 3 month free subscription was worth it! We skipped a line of over 300 people walked to CLEAR and were personally walked passed the line to their security. Took less than 5 min. Lots of Restaurants and stores to get your needs. Lots of chargers around. Very large airport! We rented a car had to go down to ground level (easy to find) all rentals were there. If it’s after hours make sure to make arrangements they are not there all night. Rental was luxury and cheap! No hold because we had ticket back 2 weeks later and when you drop off very simple they take car scan everything inspect and he waived the gas fee! We used enterprise one week in a Mercedes SUV $350! Staff really helpful and friendly. It is a bit of a walk to the rentals but lots of cars to choose from love this airport! If I didn’t have clear and had to wait in that excessive line at 5am the review may have not been 5 stars!

What a nice surprise! The BNA airport is right-sided, not too small, not too big. It offers plenty of quality shops, and a nice, clean and modern layout. Walking from check-in to the gate is more than reasonable. The gate waiting areas are not overcrowded, and include comfortable tables with power outlets to allow finishing some work before boarding. Access to the rental car area from the highway is refreshingly easy and the walk from the multi-floor parking area to the terminals is conveniently short.
My favorite part was to see and listen to musicians performing live at various restaurants and cafes in the airport, a hallmark of the Music City and a preview of what Broadway had to offer. Being an amateur musician myself, I enjoyed this passion for music everywhere in Nashville.
This was my first visit... I don't know why it took me so long to discover Nashville, but I definitely look forward to coming again...

Sarah was very nice. She was very detailed with her work. Something about her technique just felt more focused & thorough than people I've been to before & it shows. I normally would've lost a few lashes on day 1 or 2 but it has been almost 48 hours & I haven't lost any. So whatever she does, it works!

The construction is why I'm giving this airport a four. The gate area was cramped, hot, and uncomfortable and it's been that way for the last few times I've flown out/in.
The common space is lovely and easy to navigate with lots of shops and a small food court. The signage to the ride share area is easy to follow although due to the ongoing construction, a little awkward to get to. The ride share pickup area is significantly better than other airports I've seen. It has several bays with great signage and is completely covered. I look forward to seeing the airport post construction!

Airport is pretty small, and there isn't much to do. But the food is great, and security was super chill. It also got a lot better with the new terminal and the seats with built in charging stations. I personally like it better than Orlando International. Good experiences from both though.

Good airport in Nashville. The four stars is because they don’t have refillable water bottle fountains anywhere in Terminal A. They did have one of these fountains in Terminal B, but patrons in concourse A were using the regular water fountain to fill water bottles.
My flight was out of Terminal A, so I walked around looking for and found the water bottle refill fountain in Terminal B.
Security was pretty quick, thank goodness. If I remember correctly, they ask for your license or passport and do some type of facial recognition or take your photo to match with your photo on your ID. This is the first airport I’ve seen that has this, way cool!
In Terminal A, near my gate there were plugs to charge your phone or plug in your laptop, etc. Some were near the window below the seats and then in other outlets were behind the seats, shoulder height level.

Modern, efficient and very convenient. Not a very big airport so it's easy to navigate. Several food options to choose from waiting for your flight

The airport is under renovation and the airport is looking good so far! There are a few changes to parking and inside the terminal but the signage is clear. Park on level P5 if you can and check out the outdoor swings, high quality pet area, kid's play area in the elected parkland! So quiet and relaxing up there!

Had a three hour layover and hung out between concourse C & D. This is one of the nicest airports we've been to. There are so many places to eat, bars and different gift shops. There was live music at some of the bar / restaurants. Blake Shelton has a bar there that looked pretty festive. Healthy food options, a nice brewery and more. You could had an 8 hour layover and not get bored. The atmosphere was pleasant and everyone we interacted with was super friendly (except for one grumpy server). If you have to have a layover, this is the one to have it at.

Small and beautiful. The staff at the airport are pleasant and cordial. The security check is max 5 to 20 minutes. Great food.
Construction is going on during night time.take extra time to depart or if you are picking someone. Departure and arrival happen at the arrival area during construction. Please allow more time.
The cell phone lot is a great working spot to wait

I like this airport. All the art work throughout makes it really interesting. I've taken a hotel shuttle here and have been dropped off/picked up by friends and Über. There's quite a bit of construction going on on the lower level where ground transportation is located so we saw quite a few people get lost. There were not enough signs to direct people. As for getting through security, TSA check is normally pretty seamless. I've always had pleasant interactions with staff here. Once you get through to the gates there's more than enough variety of shopping, dining, imbibing, miscellaneous activity, etc. There are also options for every age group. I definitely agree that there's not enough seating at the gates but I'm generally fine standing up or waiting at the next gate. Overall, my experiences at BNA have been decent.

Beautiful airport and much construction going on for expansion. Lovely place and lots of fun places to eat and sit. Some food places have live country music singers so it can be a lot of fun! Updated and new and very clean. Looking fwd to the completion of construction. Just very confusing trying to navigate with few signs about where to have people pick you up by car when you arrive or where to get transportation bc there are 3 levels but it’s hard to find signs that say for at
Arrivals or departures.

This is a nice airport. Everything moved very efficiently. I really like that they have a direct flight to Seattle. We drove from Memphis so we could a direct flight. They have a lot of good food options and stores for snacks and stuff. Bigger and better selection than the Memphis airport.

Nashville is hands down my favorite airport! Southern hospitality .. describes this airport to a 'T'! This is the only airport (that I am aware of) that has stores remain open if flights are delayed. Having experiences of being stranded at other airports without a way to purchase a snack [besides vending machines), I can attest that this is a huge benefit & I applaud whoever made this decision! 👏 Lots of fun shops, great eateries & live music makes for a wonderful experience!

Newly remodeled, the overall airport experience is much improved over what it used to be just a couple of years ago. In this recent trip, bags took really long to arrive but that's unusual based on my experience at BNA.

Best airport I've flown out of by far. It's new and updated, and there are plenty of clean bathrooms everywhere. There's plenty of good restaurants and bars past security. TSA was prompt, and everyone just seemed to be nice from staff to travelers. They also give a 20% military discount in all stores inside.

I love how it’s so easy to navigate around with the trains. Location is really clean and plenty of food options from shake shack, lounges, Mediterranean spot, Chipotle and other typical fast food joints

This airport has live music all over which is great. Really need to see individuals playing at bars while you wait for your plane. Really nice assortment of food including nice places for barbecue and what they call hot chicken is spicy fried chicken. They also have paraphernalia for country music history if you missed getting souvenirs at the museums. Security line sometimes can be a bit longer during peak hours so make arrangements.

The good and the bad. The good is that there are live musicians playing just inside check in which gives the airport that fun Nashville vibe. Clean airport and good restaurant choices. The bad is the TSA check in took too long as over half of the bags were getting screened creating longer lines than necessary. Overall 4 out of 5 star airport and the ride share in was easy

Very crowded on a Monday morning. Maybe because of the end of CMA Fest too. Quick and Easy TMA security checks, we didn’t take more than 10 minutes to reach our gate. Good experience by far.

Confusing to navigate when driving into this construction maze. The airport itself seems to run fairly smooth. Lots of security lines open & not to long of a wait. TSA agents not very friendly but I think that’s a prerequisite for all TSA . I could see a novice having a hard time finding their way.

We landed safely.
Airport clean.
Had to take shuttle to luggage claim.
Shuttle was readily available- no waiting.
Luggage was already there.
Car rental on site as well.
Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and restrooms.
Beautiful art installation!!

More like a mall/ food court than an airport. I think this is the most stores and restaurants I've seen in an airport so far! Pretty nice airport overall. Some very cool and unique artwork. A good mixture of high-end restaurants and fast food and everything in between. Pretty easy to get in between gates. Only complaint would be the cleanliness of the bathroom, smelled pretty bad next to gate D3.

Flew here from JFK Christmas Eve morning. Quick airplane exit. Very short walk out of the terminal. Decent number of stores and restaurant in the terminal. Everything very clean and well lighted and attractive. Same, after exiting for baggage and transportation; large, clean, attractive area, sun shining in, places to sit, easy to find your way. Certainly not as large as JFK, but a very big, attractive airport nonetheless.

I've flown in and out of this airport a few times. I appreciate an upgrade. That simply says they understand the need for a refresh.
This airport is comfortable and designed for travelers. There's plenty of shopping and places to eat. Matter of fact it's a great welcome mat into the city of Nashville.
The terminals are traveler friendly. There's plenty of signage to get you to where you need to go next. And it's a decent sized airport.

There is still some construction and I find that some people get lost in and out of the way to get to the terminals in the airport…
Extremely fast process now to go through security. There is even two huge screens where they play some video to keep you entertained while you go through the security process. All the machines used to scan luggage are very fancy. No need of taking out any liquids, creams or laptops… everything just goes straight through. Very efficient. I also like that this airport is clean and signage is easily observed. The cheaper flights usually have less room at the gate area and are managed worse. That still needs improvement.

Cracking airport, efficient as soon as we walked in the door and until we got on the plane. Good shops, food/bar places. Seating comfy, air conditioning spot on. Plenty charging plugs at gates. Countdown on display with departure time at gate. Toilets clean, water fountains and hand sanitizers throughout.

Parking is expensive
Food is expensive
It is confusing driving around
Cell phone waiting area is way far from airport. Not convenient like it used to be.
Airport is clean
Could use more drinking fountains
Overall it's okay since there are no other large airports around

Nashville International Airport is a decent mid-sized airport southeast of downtown. Although it serves mostly domestic and pre-cleared flights from Canada, this airport also has signage in Chinese and Spanish for the many tourists who come for major concerts and special events such as CMA Fest. Everything can be kept inside luggage while passing through security, which makes it much more efficient than many other airports.

This is actually one of my favorite airports. There is live music, good restaurants and lots of shopping. The rental cars are across the street from the terminal so it’s a short convenient walk to get your car. The layout is nice and location is ideal for quick exits to your local destination.

This is a small international Airport. As of May 2022 there is a lot of construction in the parking and pick up and drop of area. Once inside it’s very easy to navigate. Lots of food places , not a lot of chain fast food. They have a Tootsies in the airport! Would not be Nashville if you did not hear and see live music at the restaurants and just out in the concourse area. Security can get crazy , small area for large amounts of people. Recommend getting there up to 3 hours before flight.
Bathrooms are very clean and a attendant at each .

I’ve been in and out a few times through Nashville Airport and I’ve had good experiences. Security didn’t take too long. Parking was fairly straightforward.
We just dropped our 16 year old son off today to fly out on his own and it went well.
The cell phone lot is not far from the terminal and if it’s not peak travel time, it’s not very congested with traffic around the terminal loop.
I’ve heard it can be very backed up during peak times. Only issue I’ve had: cell phone lot doesn’t have a vending machine. I fell like it should have one.

Love this airport! So clean, bright, and the folks there are so friendly! Such a nice change from the rude people and the filthy Philadelphia airport.
There's construction going on but, it was well handled.
Concourse D is lovely!
The wheelchair assistance was well run this trip.

Friendly service and they moved the lines. I'm not used to TSA and airline employees being so courteous! We also found car rental service easy to use and quick although we did have a reservation. Still, my husband and I noticed a difference in vibe and attitudes here! Coffee and lattes at Kijiji were good! Refreshing changes from being around Philadelphia, New York, and even Fort Lauderdale/Miami area recently...

I'll preface this review with the fact that this is my first time at this airport (and in Nashville for that matter), and I've been a huge Titans (and Oilers) fan for quite some time, so my review may appear to be biased to some extent because of pure excitement. But it's still an honest review regardless. My family and I arrived at this airport in the late hours on 24 Nov 2024, and departed mid day on 28 Nov 2024. Coming from Las Vegas, it's always unique to be at an airport where you don't see a bunch of slot machines throughout the terminal. I was a little bummed that I wasn't met with an exaggerated amount of Titans' logos throughout the terminal when we arrived, but that's ok.
On the day we departed, we had the opportunity to walk around a lot more and actually see the layout of the airport, to include visiting the stores. Needless to say, I felt that the airport was clean and well-organized. Processing through TSA was seamless - I'm not sure how busy this airport gets and how hectic processing through TSA can be during normal time frames because we traveled on Thanksgiving day.
We especially enjoyed seeing The Titans Press Box immediately after you process through TSA (Titans fan moment here). It was unfortunate that we didn't get to eat/drink here but I suspect we'll make it a point to stop here during our future travels to this airport. All the employees at this airport, from the ticketing counter to the cleaning employees were extremely friendly, which can be hit or miss at different airports. This may be part of the Nashville (southern) personalities/hospitality we had the privilege of enduring while visiting this city.
My experience with the rental car area, from departing the airport to returning the car back to the terminal on the day of our departure was seamless. Using Google Maps to navigate to and from the airport was accurate - so shout out to the folks that keep the information up to date and to the airport staff for minimizing the amount of unbearable construction zones.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this airport. I finally understood how the airport received its "BNA" airport code (always confusing when you see an airport code that is way off to the name of the city you're flying to). Apparently, the "B" is derived from Berry Field during the airport's inception back in 1937 - I suspect people can figure out the "NA" portion of the code and what it stands for. This information was retrieved from Google...so it has to be correct right? Definitely a must-do with respect to visiting this airport and the great city of Nashville. Titan Up!

This is a very nice airport! You even are able to hear someone playing some live music! It is pretty clean and even has pet restrooms for your dog or cat! Crazy! They have a nice selection of shops and places to eat! But very crazy to get out of the airport by Uber or taxi! You will have to have patience!

Look and feel is good here at BNA airport (Berry Field Nashville). There’s only one terminal, relatively smaller, & crowded at times) It is easy to navigate and well maintained. Upon arrival, found it convenient to use public transportation or to book taxis/app based cabs.

I had a pleasant experience at the Nashville International Airport. Once I arrived, there was enhanced signage and staff available to help travelers. I was impressed by the organization and amount of staff. Checking in was an easy process. From there, I waited in the security line for less than 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and humorous. I appreciated that as it was my first time travelling alone which made me nervous. You can tell that there has been much thought into the way in which this airport operates compared to the airport in my home town (which was a nightmare). There is a proper amount of staff which was critical in managing the flow of traffic. I would be happy to recommend this airport and I will be back.
