Stayed with my family. We had two small children who enjoyed ringing in the new year at the hotel. However my brother in-law was mistreated from the time he arrived to the hotel. Discriminated against from not being offered breakfast to continuously having his debit card charged. They charged him for smoking in his room. Which he did not. We had exchanged gifts for the kids so I had to go into his room the following morning before checking out with my son who has asthma. There was NO smell of smoke or it had been smoked in as my son would’ve showed signs of that. I am completely saddened that they would treat him this way. Isn’t it illegal to charge the card more then twice? We stay for New Year’s Eve and his card has been charged every day up until yesterday when he finally changed his card number. Beware if you are a person of color they discriminate!

This hotel was so nice. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Great shower with name brand fixtures and luxury shampoos/soaps. View from our balcony gave great views of the Rocky Mountains. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Everyone from the Gman who first greeted us at Valet to the front desk staff at night to Monet the concierge. Absolutely EXCELLENT STAFF at this location. Hotel rooms are beautifully remodeled. Definitely will be returning to this property. Lots of shops near by. Highly recommended

The staff was phenomenal to begin with. The place was immaculate and the buffet breakfast was to die for! The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us,especially Erika. I would highly recommend this place. And the price was unbeatable, especially for the accommodations.

Great hotel! The room was really clean, and had a nice view of Denver. The gym was a little small, but still nice. And customer service was Impeccable!

If it was closer to downtown I'll definitely give it a 5/5 rating.

I stay here a lot for work and the staff is always fantastic. The hotel is updated(great showers) and always clean. Food at the cafe is also good. The staff make this a great home for a night or two

The rooms smelled, they’re dirty, & you can hear from all around. Plus they say you have water in the room but you don’t. If you call about the water the front desk will let you know it’s available at the front desk. The coffee maker is a little tough to get out of its designated area to even put water in so be careful. Upon walking the hallways you’ll smell weed coming out of most the rooms but that’s not the hotels fault. The shower will leak so just put towels down. Also, if you care, none of the furniture matches. Plus the couches smell which is what I was referring to early as far as the smell in the air. Not a terrible hotel but not worth the price.

I stay at different hotels at least every month or more. Of all the hotels I have used this one is easily my favorite. It is beautiful architecturally, it is convenient to the interstate and shopping if needed, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The inside has lots of innovative and interesting decorations if you pay attention; up to and including a formation of model folded airplanes on the ceiling above the bed.

Most of all, the staff is the best example of friendly service I have ever experienced at a hotel... period.

On my birthday I arrived back in my room to find a bottle of wine with a covered dish containing a large beautifully garnished piece of cheesecake waiting, compliments of the hotel. I was beside myself that a hotel would pay such close attention to detail in an effort to please me. A few minutes later a nice neat bourbon (Woodford Reserve) accompanied by a separate glass of ice was delivered to me by a very sweet employee named Lauren. My daughter had called requesting that a bourbon be delivered to my room. Lauren agreed to bring it herself even though that is not normally done.

Then she called my daughter back to let her know that I had joyfully received her gift. They made an otherwise bleak away from home and family birthday an awesome experience.

As a result, I have made a lifetime commitment to stay at this hotel anytime I am in Denver.

I would add a star to my five star rating if I could.

Love staying here. Our room always has a deck to look out into the city and feel the mountain air. Whenever we have a late check out the hotel is always accommodating. The pool and hot tub were open too while we were there and it was snowing. What a great way to relax!

Tony the valet, o wait he may have been a shuttle driver. I don’t believe they have a valet here. He was rather rude. You wouldn’t have known his mother taught him any manners like please or thank you. As a guest and fellow service professional I promise you don’t speak to everyone that way or in that tone and get away with it while being employed in a service industry.

You may kiss your mother with that mouth but please refrain from speaking to me.

Let me suggest going to a variety of other hotels in town. The Westin downtown, The Four Seasons, Holiday Inn next door, The Hyatt regency downtown has friendly staff.

Good luck with your stay.

welcome to DENVER. Avoid this hotel.

The staff here are incredible. They're all very nice, greet you every time they see you. The manager was extremely welcoming to us. Rooms are very nice and clean. Fitness room has some awesome equipment. It's close enough to everything you don't have to drive too long to get to anywhere. Overall my stay was amazing. Between the nice rooms and the accommodating staff, I had no issues.

We haven’t been in Denver for 24 hours and have been accommodated by the best hotel team known to man! This is our first time in Denver and the Renaissance Hotel Dream Team made us feel at home. Delaney at the front desk showed us the face of this company with such dignity and exceptional service. I have been to so many cities and so many hotels but none have never come close to this one!

It is my significant others birthday we checked in and Delaney said “Happy Birthday” as most places do. We dropped our luggage in the hotel room, went out to dinner and returned in the room with 2 cheesecakes, snacks, and beers! With a CARD!!! Thank you Delaney, Craig’s, Kate, and Marat for making this birthday special and for making us feel so welcome. Anytime we or anyone asks for recommendations to stay when planing to l visit - Renaissance Hotel is my #1 choice.

We can’t thank you enough!

This is a lovely hotel. They let me check in before noon, which was much appreciated. The room decor was quirky. There was a round table with a single chair in a room with two double beds. There is also a distinct lack of outlets. They've tried to compensate by using power strips.
