If you’re not renting a car this hotel is close to the train and whatever else you may need during your stay but its location is peculiar now with the airport move and I had to beg for a Denver view (was told kings are only on the sixth floor) until a room on the tenth floor magically appeared but it had issues (falling curtains that were hard to move, no washcloths, fridge unplugged, limited channels) that I wouldn’t expect at this price but the property has interesting architecture along with amazing water pressure and feels fairly modern although its rare balconies are its main selling point.

Great stay - extra clean (especially the rooms), welcoming staff and easy check-in process. Starbucks and other amenities downstairs weren't really open (covid) but location was pretty good since it's outside of downtown but still fairly central to get to food/things to do. I adore the design of the hotel and the little parts of the room that make you feel like "wow I'm gonna remember this about Denver...good hospitality". The sliding door to the pristine bathroom and the table and light fixtures are so neat but also useful. The only thing I didn't prefer was that I booked well in advance for a king room with views and they could only accommodate a double queen room with views and that ended up working well but I just personally would've liked to know that I wouldn't get a king if I booked a king (either way the views were AMAZING). The price is right and the views are nice so if you're considering a visit and booking this place - do it!

Great customer service. They go above and beyond to help. I needed to go to Walmart across the street one night to get stuff for my baby and didn’t have a car, they offered their shuttle service to help me out so I don’t have to walk with the baby. I was very impressed. Rooms are very clean and nice views.

We left Warwick to come here. From the friendly and quick check in to the amazing decor! (We spent a couple of hours just exploring! ❤) to the indoor and outdoor option to the amazing view to the awesome bar this place was amazing! Couldn't say enough great things about it. The beds were a bit firm for my taste but were way better than Warwick. Parking is included in the price. We did have an a/c issue that I called the desk about and 2 minutes later someone was there!!! And fixed within 10 minutes!! Plus the hotel architecture is so cool!! Loved this place.

Hotel staff was super nice! Pretty secure hotel, you need a key to get around everywhere, which is nice! Must wear a mask when walking around, they gave us extra cleansing wipes, everything was clean. Hot tub and pool was open (needed to ask for pool key). Outdoor hot tub at night was so nice. Only thing was the shower got clogged, but we had 2 rooms so we just took showers in the other room. We let them know about it up front and they were super apologetic and asked if we wanted someone to come look at it for us. We didn't need to as it was our last night, but it was a nice gesture to ask!

After driving 14 hours and getting to the hotel after 10pm there was an issue with our reservation made through a booking site. Jonathan the assistant front desk manager not only took the time to call the company and resolve the issue but upgraded us due to the inconvenience. The room itself was very clean along with the rest of the hotel and our stay was wonderful.

It was an amazing stay. Sandra checked us in and gave me plenty of information, we felt safe with ask of the restrictions in place and even got to enjoy the swimming pool twice all by ourselves. This was our first trip to Denver and I do not regret staying here. The furthest we had to drive was 20 minutes for anything. The staff was also nice and helpful. Gorgeous view from our balcony too!

My husband and I were gifted a free one night stay and breakfast for two. My dad had won this from an auction and was excited to give it to us for our anniversary, as we weren’t able to do what we intended since the shut down. We were excited to finally get away and stay at what appeared to be a nice hotel. Staff up front was super friendly and nice, but the room was not. We found dirty, bloody sheets and towels shoved in the night stand and a bloody pad inside the bag that the hair dryer comes in. It was absolutely horrible!! ESPECIALLY when it’s a pandemic and they said they are taking extra cleaning precautions. The paper they gave us upon arrival said the rooms stay vacant for 24 hours before anyone enters to clean. It made me very uncomfortable knowing that had been there for at least 48 hours, if not more. The beds were made and it appeared cleaned, but it’s very obvious they aren’t fully going through the whole room and checking and disinfecting everything. If I had paid for this I would have thrown a huge fit, but I let the staff know at the front what had happened and to make sure their cleaning staff does a better job. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Very clean, staff wonderful, but the water went it out during day but they did their best to accommodate.

It was a non-starter. When we arrived at our scheduled time, hotel staff were shooing everyone out the door due to a break in a water line. Hotel staff clearly hadn't been trained how to handle such a disruption in business continuity. Maybe they deliver outstanding service when everything is going well, but I won't take the time to find out. With no assistance from hotel staff, we booked a last-minute reservation at another hotel.

I've stayed here more than once, and usually we love it. This time was not awesome....with all the precautions taken during this pandemic I'd expected at LEAST a normal clean room. However I was greeted by a very dirty table, headboard with some kind of dirty handprints all over it, floor, and bathroom. I didn't make a big deal of it, just went and asked for cleaner and some extra wash cloths to clean myself. We had requested a quieter room on the west side so we could avoid sun in the morning - long exhausting trip! We got the last room in a corner on the east side next to the freeway....again, didn't make a big deal because we were tired and just wanted to sleep. The room location aside, the cleanliness was my biggest issue. Marriott website claims to be taking so many precautions and even putting disinfecting wipes in every room, but this was not the case here. This should have been the cleanest stay, instead it was the worst.

Staff is very nice, always is so that is definitely a plus. All around a generally great place to stay, just dropped the ball a bit this time!

I normally font write reviews but this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for the money. The staff can not be more accommodating and kind. The rooms are insanely nice and the view is just simply amazing!

Renaissance hotel was just as it appears on the outside; Splendid. Staff was wonderful, rates were exceptionally reasonable, and the comfort of the room was outstanding. Would have loved a room with a tub but ill just have to ask next time.

Unfortunately I stayed during a Pandemic. But there were 3 to a double bed room. Way too Expensive for no room to walk around the room. No coffeemaker hair dryer no dresser drawers. From Iowa and the 3 of us were crammed into a very small room. Had to try 5 floors before I could find ice. For $133 a night I DO NOT RECOMMENDED IT. I tried to upgrade but it was too late. The Hot Tub and pool closed at 8 pm. Should be open until 11!!! I don't recommend unless your traveling alone. Beautiful view though after we dragged furniture from indoors out. Should have a patio table a at least a couple chairs. Not enough room! Sorry Beautiful hotel but terrible sleeping and visiting with whom I traveled with.

Service! The people were friendly and accommodating during challenging times. Could use salt water instead of chlorine, make a climbing wall next to elevator and rope wall for team building/recreation...just an idea! Thanks again for dog friendly.

Relatively inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area of the same class, some rooms have a balcony so you can see downtown and the mountains, the interior is nice, clean, be aware due to COVID-19 masks are required in public spaces, not just in the hotel, but also in Denver in general. Only downside is the train track near by but if you can sleep through train horns then it's no problem.

The restaurant is actually really good despite being a hotel restaurant, its currently open for pick up. All in all a nice hotel.

Great hotel and staff! While booking the room the lady on the phone had a glitch and had to start my booking over, upon doing so she messed up the date and reserved my room for a day later than was supposed to be. When we arrived we did not have reservation for the evening. Tracy was quick to fix the mistake, and to make us feel welcome and at ease. Her customer service and appreciation for her guests was far beyond expectations. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable.

Our stay was exquisite. Very friendly staff and they even pulled a few strings and got me checked in earlier then normal. Very quite atmosphere and the whole place smelt so good. Not over bearing either just a nice aroma. Room was clean and very accommodating. Would of liked a tub for the wife but over sized shower made up for that. Lol. Large balcony was awesome, ask for a room facing West. Beautiful view. And i guess if your a smoker the balcony is a plus to. . It was a lil more then i would of liked to have paid per night but you get what you pay for and i was satisfied. 4.5 out of 5... I recommend staying here and will be back.

I had a amazing experience at the Renaissance hotel. It was not only a beautiful and elegant place to stay but the service of one specific person made the stay unforgettable. A huge shout out to Keila and John (supervisors), and Victoria (club lunch) for treating my family so well. We'll gladly come back.

Another great stay at the Renaissance. The rooms are nice they've just been renovated The team is great. If you're looking for a place to stay it's centrally located between the airport and downtown this is a great spot.

I went here for a conference. The ballroom space set up for the event was very nice. We had plenty of space for breakout sessions and lots of support for all the audio and visual technology needs. The lunches were very tasty and they accommodated all the different dietary needs well. They staff kept the hot coffee and tea flowing through out the day. Overall a good experience.

Always great! Good services, I know Debbie, The Sales Director, she's very helpful and great to help with your Event, she will listen and help with your special needs and wants, she'll work with your Budget. I stay once a year for our Event the 100 Men who Cooks, and before that I've worked with Deb for our School Excel Institute and she help us tremendously, unfortunately we had to close our doors after 34 years. While this is not right downtown, it is only 5 miles away and pretty reasonable room rates. Getting here from downtown was quick though getting to downtown form the hotel took 30 minutes in the morning.

The room was great (photo attached with a view of downtown Denver and the mountains behind).

The gym was also not too crowded, something I was pleasantly surprised to discover. For some reason I wasn't able to get into the indoor pool but that wasn't something I had time for that day anyway.

Overall a good experience.

You can't say anything bad about this place. It's visually unbelievable like being in Disney World. Can't wait to go there again for my birthday or celebration.

Hands down the most beautiful hotel in the city/surrounding areas. There used to be an airport right here in this area and I feel as if this hotel stands as a great example of how prestigious the airport was. Amenities are great and having Aveda as the designer line of hair and skin care products in the bath rooms makes this hotel number 1 for me. Excellent customer service. Would love to feel like a friend to the agents but no complaints..they treated me with the utmost respect and genuine regard to my needs.

Stayed with my family. We had two small children who enjoyed ringing in the new year at the hotel. However my brother in-law was mistreated from the time he arrived to the hotel. Discriminated against from not being offered breakfast to continuously having his debit card charged. They charged him for smoking in his room. Which he did not. We had exchanged gifts for the kids so I had to go into his room the following morning before checking out with my son who has asthma. There was NO smell of smoke or it had been smoked in as my son would’ve showed signs of that. I am completely saddened that they would treat him this way. Isn’t it illegal to charge the card more then twice? We stay for New Year’s Eve and his card has been charged every day up until yesterday when he finally changed his card number. Beware if you are a person of color they discriminate!

Great hotel! The room was really clean, and had a nice view of Denver. The gym was a little small, but still nice. And customer service was Impeccable!

If it was closer to downtown I'll definitely give it a 5/5 rating.

The rooms smelled, they’re dirty, & you can hear from all around. Plus they say you have water in the room but you don’t. If you call about the water the front desk will let you know it’s available at the front desk. The coffee maker is a little tough to get out of its designated area to even put water in so be careful. Upon walking the hallways you’ll smell weed coming out of most the rooms but that’s not the hotels fault. The shower will leak so just put towels down. Also, if you care, none of the furniture matches. Plus the couches smell which is what I was referring to early as far as the smell in the air. Not a terrible hotel but not worth the price.

I stay at different hotels at least every month or more. Of all the hotels I have used this one is easily my favorite. It is beautiful architecturally, it is convenient to the interstate and shopping if needed, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The inside has lots of innovative and interesting decorations if you pay attention; up to and including a formation of model folded airplanes on the ceiling above the bed.

Most of all, the staff is the best example of friendly service I have ever experienced at a hotel... period.

On my birthday I arrived back in my room to find a bottle of wine with a covered dish containing a large beautifully garnished piece of cheesecake waiting, compliments of the hotel. I was beside myself that a hotel would pay such close attention to detail in an effort to please me. A few minutes later a nice neat bourbon (Woodford Reserve) accompanied by a separate glass of ice was delivered to me by a very sweet employee named Lauren. My daughter had called requesting that a bourbon be delivered to my room. Lauren agreed to bring it herself even though that is not normally done.

Then she called my daughter back to let her know that I had joyfully received her gift. They made an otherwise bleak away from home and family birthday an awesome experience.

As a result, I have made a lifetime commitment to stay at this hotel anytime I am in Denver.

I would add a star to my five star rating if I could.

Love staying here. Our room always has a deck to look out into the city and feel the mountain air. Whenever we have a late check out the hotel is always accommodating. The pool and hot tub were open too while we were there and it was snowing. What a great way to relax!

Tony the valet, o wait he may have been a shuttle driver. I don’t believe they have a valet here. He was rather rude. You wouldn’t have known his mother taught him any manners like please or thank you. As a guest and fellow service professional I promise you don’t speak to everyone that way or in that tone and get away with it while being employed in a service industry.

You may kiss your mother with that mouth but please refrain from speaking to me.

Let me suggest going to a variety of other hotels in town. The Westin downtown, The Four Seasons, Holiday Inn next door, The Hyatt regency downtown has friendly staff.

Good luck with your stay.

welcome to DENVER. Avoid this hotel.

The staff here are incredible. They're all very nice, greet you every time they see you. The manager was extremely welcoming to us. Rooms are very nice and clean. Fitness room has some awesome equipment. It's close enough to everything you don't have to drive too long to get to anywhere. Overall my stay was amazing. Between the nice rooms and the accommodating staff, I had no issues.

We haven’t been in Denver for 24 hours and have been accommodated by the best hotel team known to man! This is our first time in Denver and the Renaissance Hotel Dream Team made us feel at home. Delaney at the front desk showed us the face of this company with such dignity and exceptional service. I have been to so many cities and so many hotels but none have never come close to this one!

It is my significant others birthday we checked in and Delaney said “Happy Birthday” as most places do. We dropped our luggage in the hotel room, went out to dinner and returned in the room with 2 cheesecakes, snacks, and beers! With a CARD!!! Thank you Delaney, Craig’s, Kate, and Marat for making this birthday special and for making us feel so welcome. Anytime we or anyone asks for recommendations to stay when planing to l visit - Renaissance Hotel is my #1 choice.

We can’t thank you enough!

This is a lovely hotel. They let me check in before noon, which was much appreciated. The room decor was quirky. There was a round table with a single chair in a room with two double beds. There is also a distinct lack of outlets. They've tried to compensate by using power strips.
