I would not recommend this hotel if you want a king size bed, unless you get there early. I made 2 reservations for 2 different nights, flying in and out of Denver, for a king bed. Both evenings when I arrived at the hotel, around 9:00 and 10:00pm, I was put in a 2 bedded room. When I inquired about it, they told me it's first come, first serve on the king beds. I was very disappointed, there is a reason we prefer the king (better for taller people) over the smaller bed. If you are taking the shuttle to the airport, make sure you are early, and outside, not waiting in the lobby, as it will leave without you.

Tracy and Braden and the whole crew took amazing care. Above and beyond. Stay here. Side note . I work in film production, very demanding and detailed. I seriously tried to poach Braden. He's doing the job of 2 people at a few different places. A rare guy. Also Tracybwas just amazing with the check in. I had several issues that others would have just not dealt w. She happily provided several options despite it being busy as heck.

I’m writing this review at 3:45am because the sleep I hoped for isn’t happening. This is a pic of the light coming through the curtains in room 212 in the middle of the night. No blackout curtains in this room and the bright outdoor security lights shining through made it nearly impossible to sleep. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize this until it was time to turn in for the night, so complaining about it at 11pm on a Sunday night would have been futile. Since we chose this hotel simply for a no frills night of sleep and its proximity to the airport, we should have paid a little more for a better room somewhere else. This hotel’s lone redeeming qualities are the friendliness of the staff members we encountered, the airport shuttle and cleanliness of a room that was fairly broken down. They are the reason for three stars instead of just one. If you need a good night’s sleep, I suggest you stay elsewhere. Or at least not in room 212.

My Apple Watch was stolen from my room! I checked out of my hotel room and an hour or two later realized I forgot my Apple Watch in my room. I remember exactly where it was, called the hotel, and the room had already been cleaned with no one turning in the watch. I returned to the hotel to go through the room and it was gone. The manager, Tracy, did not show any sympathy and only defended her staff and said there was nothing they could do. Tracy did not talk with the staff. Another staff member, not a manager, spoke with the staff earlier in the day. At the very least I would expect a manager to show some sympathy, speak to the staff (a manager speaking to the staff carries more weight than another employee), and show some concern by saying they will keep looking for the watch and give me a call if found. I received nothing like that. I recommend others don’t stay here!

Pleasant staff at check-in and check-out. Quick breakfast items were set out by 4am. Arrived close to midnight and left just after 4am, so just used it for a bed and a shower and it was fine.

Cute little hotel, clean and managed. Friendly hotel staff. Good for the price. Shuttle service. Small but adequate breakfast and coffee. Would stay again

I would recommend this place to anyone including my grandma. Family friendly and free shuttle offered to anyone traveling.

Good hotel for the price. Great place to stay the night before you fly out or day you fly in. Older hotel but very clean. Has a airport shuttle that comes by every 30 min but you have to sign up for it. I recommend doing the as soon as you get there. No pool but block away from a great dinner.

Flight Canceled so I stayed here. 5 blocks from The Dispensary and Courtesy Shuttles on the hour to the Airport. They took in my Service Dog No Problems and I really enjoyed my stay. Rooms are well lit and clean. Up to date nice bathroom and comfortable beds

Great customer service! The people are awesome. However, really old building that needs a full remodel. Room was clean but had a spider climb on me when I was sitting on the bed. Maybe up the insect spraying? It’s an old place so this is understandable.

The hotel itself is good for a night before an early flight. The free breakfast begins at 4:00 am and they have 24 hour shuttle service every 30 min. Braden, the early am front desk worker, is super helpful, kind and attentive. He made our early morning off to a great start.

The hotel is showing signs of needing updating as some room features looked worn out, again it's good for a night at the right price.

Due to a bad plane delay, i had to spend the night in Denver. This place is no frills, but it did have a comfortable bed. Another plus is the free airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. The only negative was that the sink was not completely clean, and my room was right by the lobby (a little noisy) but i was also close to the breakfast. It's the bare minimum breakfast, but was tasty after 18 hours of no food.

Overall, you get what you pay for but having people like Braden helping you makes the experience much more pleasant.

Booked one night here since our flight was getting in late to DEN. Reviews... aren't great but we weren't going into it expecting a Four Seasons. Arrived around 11:30 PM to be greeted by Braden. He was so pleasant and accommodating, definitely made us feel better about the hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but were clean, same with the whole of the hotel. We were in #102 which is right by a side exit. It was a bit loud with guests going in and out all night to smoke or what not, but not excessively so.

We would stay here again if we had to as the price was good.

Clean(ish). Nice front desk lady. Comfortable beds. Secure parking.. Close to airport and amenities. Definitely don't go by pictures

on Booking.com they are deceptive. Breakfast is kids yogurt, packaged muffins and cold cereal. Breakfast is served 4am to 930am. We had very minimal amounts of food at 7am. Staff unwilling to refresh.

Had a lot more breakfast options than other hotels in the area with the whole covid thing. Shower actually had some good pressure to it, which was nice. The decor could use some work, but it seemed like they had been working on some renovations. It was a good hotel for something short notice and it served our purposes

I couldn't have been more disappointed with this. I saw it had decent reviews and it was a late night of driving but there were people outside literally having parties like they lived there. Also the room was not well kept. Ceiling looked like it could have fell down on us. Things were not clean at all. Stains on furniture. Back wall was a wall of dark mirrors which was super creepy too. We slept and got the heck out of there. Never been so uncomfortable staying somewhere.

The staff are awesome, my shuttle driver Miss Candice with a C as she said! She made me and my family night she went the extra mile for us, can't wait to pass our layover there.

Thank you again Miss Candice!

Basically the room was clean but it was missing the telephone, the curtains, on my 1st floor room, wouldn't close. We had to prop a backpack against the curtains to keep them closed. However the big issue was the leaking toilet. You can see from the pictures that it has been an on going issue. With better maintenance this property could be 4-5 stars.

I pre paid or probably would have left. The room is not special, with patched holes in the walls and a shower head that leaked. The bag breakfast offered no choice or option and we were unable to eat the majority of what was included. I just hope the shuttle will get me to the airport safely and on time. The guests are loud, I've heard sirens, people fighting in the parking lot, and garbage trucks in the dark of early morning. Don't stay here, if you have another option!

The staff member who checked us in was really great, she went out of her way to get our friend who met us a close room but the hotel was a disappointment. The room was old and needed repair, the bath was stained with cracked tiles. The bed was very uncomfortable. The first night we walked in lobby there was a HUGE cloud of pot smoke and this is a non-smoking hotel?? I would never suggest this hotel to anyone. The house cleaners and matinence man who came to our room were very nice and very helpful. The man who checked us out was also really great. The only thing this hotel has going for it was very goo staff.

The front desk guy was seriously the nicest person ever. I wish I had gotten his name. He was in a gray jacket. He checked us in at 11 PM and check us out at 5 AM and I can’t believe someone is so friendly and helpful at those sleepy hours!! He was especially nice to my kids which I appreciate so much.

The hotel was good. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are spacious enough and clean.

cheap hotel. i just needed a place to stay for the night. only problem for me is the fact that they do not have a refrigerator in the rooms. i HATE drinking warm beer. I would spend the extra $20 for the place down the road had I known there is no fridge.

This is a “You get what you pay for” hotel mostly. Place was pretty dirty. Thin walls, so you could hear doors closing and people coming and going at all hours. Toilet stopped up and I had to get a plunger from the desk to fix it. Bed was very hard, which made it difficult to sleep. The customer service was wonderful though, especially the girl handling the front desk in the morning. She was very sweet and understanding when I said after one night we weren’t staying the second. The guy we checked in with is good too. No bugs, either. If you’re on a budget and just need a place to flop I’d advise this but if you have a few extra dollars, you can do a lot better even a block or two away.

This place was very nice for the money. They do need to update things though. Just some clean paint would really help. The bathroom had burn marks from people who just will not follow the no smoking rules. Room was large and beds were very comfortable. They could have been more liberal with shampoo and a like. Parking was a little off. Only one handicap spot had the sign so you couldn't tell that there were two other spots right near the door. It had snowed so no way to see the sign painted on the ground. I'd go back in a heartbeat because the price was right. Enjoy!

The staff and their service was great, and the location is pretty good. About 5 miles from the airport, and they provided a free shuttle to the airport. It's not visible from the road. I got in after dark, the building had no lights at all, dark and in the back, past the diner and the other hotels. There's a cute diner in the parking lot, Moonlight Diner. My hotel room was kinda gross, but about what I'd expect for $59 I suppose. Overwhelmingly reeked of mens cologne when I got there, hair on everything, stained and damaged furniture. The bed was very firm, the pillows were very soft. Lots of mirrors around the bed. Not terrible overall, but I would have preferred to spend another $15 to stay at one of the other hotels right next to it.

Convenient if you are looking to spend a night close to the airport. Rooms were clean but noise isolation between the hall and the rooms is horrible. You could hear when the next doors rooms were being shot(open/Close) every time.My wife had a hard time sleeping for that reason.

It started off great! Woke up to find someone trying to get in my room. Made the call to the front desk. No one was suppose to be next door. FYI smoking is allowed along with whatever they were smoking. Called again got ignored spammed the front desk with calls it got to the point where I had to walk down stress the problem on hand. Ended up packing up and moving not cool. I respect people so please treat me with the same respect.... A lot of people aren't wearing mask.

Let's give this place a 5🌟 indefinitely because of the large rooms and how neat they are, makes you feel like you are at a place like home away from home. They also allow animals there and have a huge place to run your dogs or let them do there #2🤭... Staff is very friendly, even with the covid-19 going on they still go out of there ways to have breakfast in the morning and make it safe by packaging it up for you. Please check this place out you will enjoy your stay.

If you need a room for a night or two close to the airport that’s affordable then this is a perfect spot for you. Staff was friendly at check in rooms were clean shower had good water pressure. Only thing I found odd about the room was the long wall to wall tinted mirror above the head of the bed. Felt like I was being watched through a two way mirror. Best part the free shuttle to the airport they offer that leaves every hour. I recommend to those on a budget

As we are trying to sell our house, we needed to go somewhere for the day and thought we would give this place a chance. We waited in the lobby for quite some time and had to ring the bell multiple times before someone finally came to check us in. (We waited maybe 10 min between each bell ring.) The room was dirty and smelly with chips on the floor and stained white bedding. Like if you can’t keep it clean maybe don’t use white. Also there were at least 7 people in the lobby all without face coverings, the only worker said nothing about it and at one point wasn’t even wearing hers. Being pregnant and high risk I did not feel safe. We weren’t even given our receipt.

The bed was super comfy and the whole place was pretty clean overall but the blanket was stained. They also gave us a paper bag with a muffin, orange and water bottle for "breakfast." That was INCREDIBLY disappointing.

They dis have really nice shampoo and conditioner though, and the bathroom was pretty nice.

The room was super clean and bed was awesomely comforting. The problem was the other guests. It was like an old Colfax motel atmosphere. So many unsupervised children very young everywhere and the smell of pot and other things coming into my room so strong it was like, why have a wall. Then N bomb dropped all-night and hey Bit*h seemed to be the greeting. But overall it was cool. Plus the ladies at the front desk are the best of the best of the best! I so wish I could remember their names. I might find out and add them. Definitely worth the rate and I grew up east side so was no biggie just letting others know the atmosphere in case that kinda thing ain't ur kinda thing 😂. But I'll be back and be a good place to host. It wants a pic and this is the only one I took that ok to post I think? Why does it ask for a pic of me,? Oh well got plenty

This is my 4th stay at Microtel Inn and it's one of my favorite hotels, it's well priced and I like the bench windows plus it's so close to the airport and my only complaint is sometimes the hallways smelled like weed and I don't know if people smoke in the rooms or the smell is just coming from outside other than that the place is recommended

This is not the Microtel I stayed at several times a few months ago. That nice hotel is now a Sleep Inn. Be careful if you think you're getting that hotel. I don't know what this hotel used to be called, but it's not very nice. It's as bad or worse than most of the Best Westerns I've stayed at.

They have bugs! Management doesn't know hotel policies. The night audit was great. The guy that checked us in charged my card when I wanted to pay cash. There were 4 different bugs in the rooms. I was told I would get a refund and that did not happen because of bad communication. THE MANAGER ON DUTY SHOULD BE FIRED AS WELL AS THE GUY THAT CHECKED ME IN FOR CHARGING MY CARD WITHOUT CONFIRMATION FIRST. AND GET TERMINEX TO COME BY. THERE SHOULD BE NO COMPLAINTS AND A REVIEW SCORE ON GOOGLE THIS LOW, YOUR "AREA MANAGER" SHOULD REPLACE YOU ALL. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY!!!!

Thankfully we only stayed one night. Front desk was friendly but was not wearing a mask, nor did they ask guests who weren't wearing a mask and entering the lobby to wear one. We took the complimentary shuttle from airport to hotel and the driver also was not wearing a mask. So if this is something that is important to you as you travel, be aware. Many guests also moved about the hallways without a mask. The room itself wasn't filthy but wasn't cleaned with care. The toilet was clogged upon our arrival and when the front desk associate brought up a plunger, they still weren't wearing a mask. The third picture is of a spider web and bug above the bed and the fourth picture is of some sticky residue on the phone. I wouldn't recommend, nor will I be staying at a Microtel in the future.

So... It was.. Inexpensive and basic... A little loud. But it was clean and there was coffee and they were cool about moving up my reservation with Priceline. Not for anniversary nights... But any other day this will do in a pinch.

The price was awesome for the area. The young man that checked us in was quite helpful. The room was really nice, we got a king size bed on the 3rd floor, and it had a cool window seat. It was clean. We brought a dog, there is an extra pet fee to be aware of.

The only thing that we found odd was the lack of a microwave/fridge.

We were only there less than 24 hours. Long enough to catch some shut eye and then catch an early flight out of DIA in the morning. They have breakfast in the morning starting at 4 which is nice because they is when we we went to the lobby to wait for the shuttle. Yes, they have a free shuttle to the airport, how awesome is that?! It was great, served it's purpose.

If you're interested in the Denver area don't bother going in here. Is far away from everything but the airport. They have a shuttle service for that matter. This is not a 420 friendly hotel, that charge $200. if they perceive any smoking in the rooms. The room was clean and the water hot.

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

Clean and comfortable. We were on the first floor and was not as recently renovated as the room on the 2nd floor we stayed in before. All in all good but small... Just like the name implies.

It is not the nicest place. It could use a good update but the rooms were clean, quiet and spacious. The beds and bedding were nice. The staff was very kind and helpful. It can be a bit hard to find a parking spot, but it is close to the airport.

1 2 3 4 5
Overpriced, dirty, swapped rooms twice due to mechanical and technical issues in rooms, broken fixtures, outdated, had to ask front desk for iron and ironing board, tv didn't work, limited and minimal breakfast items, egg omelet was cold and more. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless of course everything else is booked. However, the only saving Grace was the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice. Friendly staff. Clean room. I'm very sensitive to chemicals so I was grateful there was no bleach/perfume smell on the sheets. And thank goodness they don't use those automatic air fresheners in all the hallways that some hotels do! The only negative was no dark roast coffee at the breakfast bar.

I called to make a reservation and when I did I was given no confirmation number or email. I had to call the next day to cancel it, per their policy I can call anytime before 6 and cancel with no charges to my credit card. I call to cancel and I was told there was no reservation under my name, I called multiple times before 6 to confirm that. I then see a charge on my card for the stay, even though there was no reservation under my name.

I called every day for an entire WEEK to get this correct and every time I spoke with someone at the front desk, they told me they would look into it and get back to me. I never received any calls back. I was then directed towards a manager and was never able to get ahold of them. Every time I was told when they’d be at the property, they weren’t! I was given an email to communicate with. I sent an email explaining the situation, I was able to get this situation fixed but I still never heard back from any form of management about this. I just think it’s ridiculous that I had to call every day to get this figured out and then never heard anything back.

I’ve never had such an unprofessional encounter before with a hotel.

Staff was friendly and professional. Room, not so great. Lights that didn't work, probably bulbs. AC worked but not that well. Biggest problem was the missing smoke detector on the ceiling. Wires were just hanging from the ceiling. Fortunately our room was on the ground floor. Would we stay there again? No. Why did we stay there? A major weather event on the east coast left us stranded at the airport.

Let’s start with nice staff and the window opens. Let’s end with a really dingy, old, undecorated room, no fridge, not even a cheap microwave. The bedding looks old. No bedside lamp! Come on. I hope there aren’t any bed bugs! The elevator is broken. How are they open?

It is one of the least expensive hotels in s very overpriced Denver market. Big disappointment. One night, just one night.
Stuart Swihart

We had some ants on the bed to begin with and had gotten bit. They came in and put new sheets on. The AC wasn't working right the room got hot after midnight. It was set at 70. I had to take it down to 67 to come on. But the breakfast was good and the airport shuttle was excellent. The staff were freindly

Very surprising! Excellant service, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms at a great price. Close to the airport and excellent for early 6am flights. If you just need a great place to crash before your flight, this is the best place to stay. Thank you for all your assistance getting my package out!!! I highly recommend.
