Hotel shuttle, baggage check, excellent staff, great food. Excellent experience and knowledgeable staff. Appreciative of my stay at the Radisson! Thanks!
Our experience at the Radisson Phoenix was a disaster.
We check in 8/30/19 and were initially impressed by the hotel. We had to be up at 2am the following day and went to bed early. The fire alarm went off at 10pm and we had to evacuate. The staff provided no direction as to when we could go back to our rooms. We assumed it was okay because the emergency response team left.
8/31/19 at 1am I was woken up to an unknown man entering my room. It was terrifying!!! The man informed us that the hotel had given him our room! Then Vanessa from the front desk called our room and answered by saying "who is this". There was no apology for waking us or for the disregard of their guests safety and privacy. I wish I could say this was the worst part of my stay but it wasn't.
9/1 we went down stairs to have breakfast (where the waitress told me I could pour my own OJ because they were short staffed). After breakfast we returned to our room to discover all of our personal items were removed (we had the room reserved for another night). The front desk blamed housekeeping. Housekeeping tried to suggest the man who entered our room the previous night stole it/blamed the front desk. Again no apologies or empathy whatsoever. My tennis shoes were missing and we had hiking plans that day so we waited for our items. After an hour they still weren't able to located them so we decided to continue with our plans minus the hiking. We informed the front desk we weren't going to wait anymore and she told us that she'd tell her manager about what happened. We never heard from a manager.
The whole experience at the Radisson was disappointing. When I go to a hotel I expect basic hospitality and a comfortable and safe stay. Instead their was a lack of concern for our safety/privacy and no acknowledgment of our inconveniences.
Staff very helpful, but they have to pass on the news that the hotel has NO SOAP for their rooms. What no soap???? We need to bring our own?? No one had the idea to run to Costco or something?? Come on!!! Corporate here in the hotel, what are they doing? Before reserving a room ask if they have soap or bring your own, good luck.
Again staff helpful and pleasant but I won’t stay here again!
A very nice room, i can highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for something close to the airport.
They have a shuttle bus to PHX every 30 min, that gets you there in no time. The service is outstanding, I wished every hotel was like this!
Had a great stay at the Radisson. It was easy to get to from the airport, had ample parking. The hotel was clean and modern, everything up to date. The rooms were comfortable, got a great nights sleep on the beds. Got a margarita from the hotel bar and hung out by the pool for a little bit. Great experience, would stay here again.
