For one of the largest, busiest, and under co struction airports, travel in and out was not bad during this trip. Be sure to leave a little early for the journey between terminals that you may have to take. There are also numerous restaurants in the terminals.

Could use a few more amenities in domestic terminals, but otherwise fairly adequate. Security was pretty fast considering the higher than average holiday traffic. Did, however receive my first “groin” pat down at this airport so I don’t have the ‘greatest’ memories of this experience, but Jack in Box is decently oiled machine for the price. The Breakfast Klub is UNGODLY expensive, but the food is pretty decent. This restaurant is also available in the city of Houston outside of IAH. Terminal A is pretty well organized and getting from one far end to the other is pretty fast and easy. 4 out of 5 stars, little to no drama.

I love this airport. It is set up with the traveler in mind: Many tables at various heights for charging electronics, space for the working traveler, ability to electronically order a meal, ability to social distance, plants which calm and beautify the area plus an outdoor deck.

It's the biggest out of 2 Houston major commercial Airports. So you really have no options. You are either departing or arriving from here! Expect some traffic as construction is in full swing! The great news, we are building you more parking spaces in the domestic side of the airport. Your welcome.

This airport is huge. In my opinion looks good and clean. To get from one gate to the other will take you a while. I had 4 hours layover so I didn’t have any issues however, conexiones with short layovers will make you run.
The restrooms are well kept. You can find several stores for shipping including duty free store and many restaurants as well. I counted a least 4-5starbucks on my way to to terminal E.
Overall a good experience when stoppin

George Bush International Airport is a large airport. Probably one of the biggest airports if not the biggest. With different terminals A,B,C,D,E. You can easily get confused or lost finding which terminal you depart from. Other than that, air was nice. Hallways were clean, can’t take for granted the hard work the cleaning people put in. If not, there would be trash all over the airport.

Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is a standout among major U.S. airports, offering a seamless blend of convenience, culture, and dining options.
Art Expo in Terminal A
One of the highlights of IAH is the stunning art exhibit in Terminal A. The rotating art installations feature work from local artists, reflecting the vibrant culture and creativity of Houston. The collection is diverse, ranging from sculptures to interactive pieces that capture the essence of the city. For passengers with some time to spare, it’s worth taking a stroll through the terminal to appreciate this thoughtfully curated display.
Dining Options Across All Terminals
When it comes to food, IAH delivers with a wide range of restaurant options that cater to different tastes and dietary needs. Whether you’re in the mood for local Texas BBQ, fresh seafood, or quick bites from popular national chains, there’s something for everyone. Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen in Terminal E is a must-visit, offering fresh Gulf Coast seafood, while Terminal B’s 3rd Bar Oyster & Eating House serves up classic Southern comfort food. For those looking for healthy or vegetarian options, the Upper Crust in Terminal A and Urban Crave in Terminal C provide lighter fare that doesn’t compromise on flavor.
Express Train for Easy Terminal Access
One of the best features at IAH is the express train system, which allows passengers to move between terminals without having to exit and go through TSA again. This service makes layovers much more manageable, giving travelers the freedom to explore different terminals, visit restaurants, or relax in other parts of the airport. The train is fast, efficient, and runs frequently, ensuring smooth connectivity across the entire airport.
Overall Experience
Bush Intercontinental Airport offers a superior travel experience, blending art, dining, and convenience in a modern and welcoming environment. Whether you’re passing through or flying out, IAH ensures that your time spent at the airport is both enjoyable and efficient.

Super nice airport with plenty choices to eat from. Easy to get around by walking or tram between terminals. I would make sure to plan accordingly depending on layover time if you have a connecting flight it does take some time between terminals.

IAH is a very large, somewhat confusing but clean airport. Due to construction, some areas are inaccessible or only accessible from other terminals. For example, for all flights departing from E gates, you need to enter through Terminal D. The rental car center is about 2 miles from the terminals and the only way to get there is on a shuttle bus that runs every 6-7 minutes. There is a good selection of nice restaurants and bars.

One of my favorite airports to fly out of. Although there is a lot of construction the detours are easy to follow. The cell phone lot is very accommodating should you need a few moments prior to pickups/drop offs.
Parking garages are very well kept. The inside is usually immaculate. Can’t wait for my next trip ☺️

Nice airport with plenty of dining options. Easy to navigate with the tram or walk between terminals. Plan accordingly depending on layover time to connecting flight as it does take some time between terminals depending on whether you're walking or riding the tram.

Even late at night there are plenty of options for someone to grab a little meal if they’ve come from far off. I came here around nighttime and so I had a lot of real estate to choose from.
Not a bad experience! Excited to come back and see the finished renovations.

Very nice and clean airport. It’s very big very good staffs work here. Make sure to reach the airport two hours earlier because they will not let you go in. I had to reach one hour earlier, but they did not let me check in so I basically missed my flight and lost $2000.. it’s a very busy airport. The baggage collection is a bit far from where the flight lands.

Well many hotels n shopping things are there. Well free wifi also available. Toilets are well maintained...Overall a good airport...

Great experience for a International terminal that once was like a terminal of the 70s. Now it has restaurants, shops and great restaurants areas. Dog even have a place for their needs and the Houston friendly way of all staff was extremely good.
Also very good security and police presence in all areas. Very happy to be traveling from such terminal. Good job Houston.

As an experienced traveler, I recently had the opportunity to explore the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, and I was thoroughly impressed. One of my favorite aspects of the airport was the overall cleanliness and organization of the facilities. The terminals were spotless, and the restrooms were well-maintained, leading me to believe that the airport management prioritizes sanitation and cleanliness for its guests.
Another standout feature of the airport was the wide variety of food options available for travelers. I was particularly fond of the Wendy's restaurant, which served fresh and delicious fast food items. No matter what you're in the mood for, the airport has a plethora of vendors that can cater to your taste buds.
The friendliness of airport staff was also noteworthy, with personnel providing assistance and direction to travelers in a welcoming and polite manner. This human touch played a big role in making the airport feel more inviting, and it ensured that my travel experience was more relaxed and enjoyable.
The massage chairs located at the various sections of the airport made my travel even more relaxing, as after the longhaul flights, the body is in need of some tlc.
Additionally, I appreciated the frequent gate change announcements, as well as updates concerning baggage and terminal changes. Having this information readily available made it much easier to navigate the airport and stay up-to-date with the latest information, eliminating any unnecessary stress or confusion.
In summary, the George Bush Intercontinental Airport is a top-notch facility that prioritizes cleanliness, convenience, and customer satisfaction. From the variety of dining options to the friendly and helpful staff, this airport is definitely a prime destination for any traveler seeking a comfortable and seamless air travel experience.

I was only in the Southwest terminal and security was fast the day after Christmas. Very clean. I've been to this airport only a few times but I don't have any complaints. I would say that it's on the smaller side.
Pro tip: there is a Chick-fil-A near terminals 1-5. It took me a little bit to find it after seeing multiple people walk around with Chick-fil-A bags.

A huge airport, costumer service very helpful. Too many people, restaurants, coffees(not that much good )… else. Even parcels of the area is under renovation, but they are still serving people in their departure.

Really state-of-the-art airport. Self check-in options to save time. However lots of security so make sure you’re there well in advance, for your flight. Even if you’re way early, there’s plenty to do with so many restaurants, cafés, shopping etc.

Flew in to drive to Galveston and my goodness did I fall in love with this airport!
This airport made me feel like I was in a park! It’s so lush and green, very well taken care of, and super easy to navigate.
I had no issues getting to my rental or getting back later at the end of my trip. Big airport with friendly staff! There is some construction going on too so check your flight status and set up alerts!

Airport is undersized for the amount of flight traffic. Concourse was very crowded. Limited seating while waiting for your flight to board. Some boarding lines were lined out into the main aisle of the concourse. The furniture was worn and dated. Some seats had visible cracks.

My arrival experience at Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Terminal E was overall positive. While there was construction and expansion work in progress, the wait for personal car pick-up was quite long. However, I was impressed by the excellent wheelchair facilities and the high level of care and support provided by the airport's dedicated team. This made my experience at George Bush Airport stand out compared to other international airports.

Massive airport. Lots to see an do, we got here early and explored. Definitely got our steps in. I'd eat at the more affordable food places like panda express. Since it can be pricey at other restaurants.

Meticulously clean, modernistic, spacious, and futuristic design, decor, and atmosphere . The dining selections are endless! As an older woman, I was treated so courteously and kindly. The staff could not possibly have been more accommodating, welcoming, and hospitable. This may well be the most wonderful airport experience I've ever had. The atmosphere and ambience are energizing yet inviting. This is an amazing airport! 👏

TSA line is not clearly visible, it took us a little while to find it. The airport is fairly large to get from one terminal to another, actually you need to catch a skyway train.
There are plenty of fast food and bars around to kill time.

Great place to catch connecting flights. Nice food selections including a wonderful crepe place. Waiting areas are probably best I have seen with work lamps, charging areas, and variety of seating options.

My overnight stay at this airport was unexpectedly pleasant, as I had the opportunity to explore its offerings. One standout feature was the convenience of the metro rail, which efficiently connected various terminals, saving valuable time between gates. As I traversed the airport, I couldn't help but notice the diverse array of dining options available, catering to a range of tastes and preferences. Moreover, the presence of automatic convenience stores stocked with drinks, snacks, and even essential medicines was a welcome convenience, particularly during the late hours.
The airport's restrooms also left a positive impression, boasting cleanliness and thoughtful amenities such as coat hangers and designated spaces for carry-ons. However, while the waiting rooms at the gates provided adequate seating, I couldn't help but feel that a few more comfortable seating options would greatly enhance the overall experience, especially for travelers facing longer layovers.
In summary, my experience at this airport was marked by its convenient transportation options, diverse dining scene, and thoughtful amenities. While there's certainly room for improvement in terms of seating comfort, the overall impression was overwhelmingly positive, making it a noteworthy stopover destination for travelers.

It's big airport as you would expect from a major airport in Texas, and most of the spaces inside are likewise big and airy. It's nice, for example, to sit in one of their restaurant/bars in one of their open high-ceiling areas. Their car rental center also requires a shuttle ride, so plan for that in your timing.

First time coming through this airport and was pleasantly surprised. There are so many stores and places to eat. Clean bathrooms from what I experienced. The only reason for my 4 stars was that the only place to work with an outlet option were the restaurants. I wish there was a quiet place I could do some work while waiting for my flight. Oh and some of those outlets did not work.

One of the easiest airports I've had the pleasure to fly in. Always go United, terminal C & E feel like home from all the flights. Lots of places to eat and many last-minute souvenir shops. Way better than Hobby Airport in my opinion. Also, driving to and from the airport is such a breeze. Easy to follow signs. Of course, all airports are always under construction and this one is no exception. Maybe it'll be completely built in the next life. 9.8/10 (minus 0.2 due to construction)

I use this airport frequently any usually get through customs quickly. Unfortunately, it seems every restaurant is owned by the same company and there is not much variation between restaurants and choices of food or drinks. It is ocr scan and it takes you to same order page regardless of restaurant.

First time visiting. Alot more to explore during a layover. A handful of food spots and souvenir shops to choose from. Very clean airport. There are ongoing improvements to offer better travel experience. Plan accordingly if you have connecting flights. There will be long walks and a tram ride.

IAH airport is a large semi updated airport, depending on the concourse. Terminal B looks to be strictly United which made entry fairly quick and easy. You have to pay attention to the location of kiosks and entry to the security area. Lots of food choices once you are inside. Found it interesting that gates like 11 thru 20 are only accessible once they call your flight 30 min prior.

I really love this airport. Airport clean, very nice staff, very organized security at each concourse, and awesome selection of food at the United club, and inside the airport. And very easy to get to the rental car shuttle. I flown here since 2016 and especially with the road work, I have 0 complaints. The elevators are in an EXCELLENT condition as well. So, all in all, AWESOME airport. My #1 favorite airport out of all the rest. Solid 5 stars.

Came back to Houston after pandemic. Some changes, not a lot to be honest.
Landed at C terminal and walked to E to my connecting flight. There is a United club next to E12 gate and Centurion Lounge around D12.
Recommend centurion lounge over United club.

Been flighting out of here for years, I actually worked here for years, too. In construction and on the ramp. Never been before? It's easy. Just follow the signs or ask an airport employee. By any chance, you're in the wrong terminal. There's a train on the sub flooring or a train up above that will bring you to the right terminal. I will say be here at the least one hour before your flight, but it's best two hours, if this place is new to you. There's restrooms and restaurants all over the place. Love that this airport is now serving southwest planes, I don't have to go to hobby now to pick up my aunt. Been coming here for years and probably years to come. P.S. in my photos, I have what is called the echo dome. It's very near and close to my heart. Because me and my dad were both in construction, where we worked on both North and South concourse echo domes in terminal C. He actually coined the name as well, the first one ever to call them "echo domes". I don't know if the airport still calls them that, but yes. He was the first to call then that.

Located 23 miles north of downtown Houston, George Bush International Airport is one of the biggest airports in the US and a hub to United Airlines where my partner, his family, our friends and I had a layover to and from Guadalajara. With different terminals A,B,C,D,E, make sure to plan accordingly depending on time if you have a connecting flight as it does take some time between terminals. There is enough good signage in the airport. Had a four hour layover here after an international flight. Returning back to the US from Mexico around 4pm, custom and border (immigration) was long but moving and out of there within 30 minutes with a “Welcome Home.” Overall, it’s a very clean airport. It felt huge but not crazy crowded. Atmosphere was nice and plenty of food choices. We had time so checked a few and decided on Southern Belle for takeout across from our gate. I recommend this airport to fly in and out .

I enjoyed this airport, it’s top tier airport experience. First it beautiful. As you are walking through you feel as though you’ve happened upon - one after the other high class exhibits or museums, which I appreciate.
It speaks of how they understand the large amount of time people spend in the airport but they are making it a quality and enriching experience.
Excellent and even occasional legit healthy food choices as well. These are great cuisine restaurants you would have visited even if you weren’t in the airport. Great job Houston!

When you travel, expect to get lost. (If you know how to not get lost here, then good.) The place is very big, and that's the problem if you're not familiar with the airport like me, but with the helpful employees, they will guide you (or those travel cars). There are lots of stores for snacks or basic necessities for your flight or restaurants to choose from, like Wendy's, STARBUCKS, or Panda Express. There are many gates to different places. (Also, sometimes the gates will be packed with people, or people will not line up like the employees are.)

Parking is fantastic and very simple. Only suggest that would make it dummy proof is arrows on the floor how to get to an elevator. 😆
The airport itself is great and friendly. TSA is also friendly. They felt me up for free. No lunch or dinner on them, but I did get a "random" pat down after my screen was green and said clear. They get 5 stars for going above and beyond. Can't be too careful these days right.
How can I help you today?
Looking for parking?
Type something like, 'I want to park at LAX for 5 days starting
on 7/30/2024.'
Need to cancel a reservation?
Try, 'I need to cancel my parking reservation at JFK for
8/15/2024 to 8/20/2024.'
Have a general question?
You can ask, 'What are the daily rates for parking at
SFO?
