This location is great for a quick overnight rest stop if you’re on a road trip or if you have something to do in the area and need low rates. While the staff was very pleasant, the amenities were quite dated. Staff indicated that intend to renovate (or are in the process of doing so). The towel hanger in the bathroom was falling apart and on day 2 I saw a roach on the sink counter. The facility (hallways, elevators, etc) were not very cleanly. Nonetheless it served its purpose for my 4 night stay.
Room was clean and comfortable. We got into town late and left early the next morning so I didn't see the area. But the bed was amazing, much more comfortable than other Motel 6 locations. Would definitely stay here again.
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE MILITARY AND YOUR FLIGHT COULD GET CHANGED. On my way home from an active duty overseas tour and the GM of this property REFUSED to cancel my reservation after an overseas connection was delayed by 24 hours due to snow. Offered all orders and proof of delay and spent 2 hours speaking to corporate and they still couldn’t help because the General Manager wouldn’t speak to any of us. Just simply refused. TERRIBLE customer service and NO support to military already dealing with a hard situation trying to get their service member home to their family! I’d give this a NO star if I could!
Rate was good. Now I know why. First the good; the bed was comfortable.
I have never stayed at a Comfort Inn that was in SO NEED of a total refurbishment.
My first impression (which is now my lasting impression) was established on entering the lobby. Every (and there are many) of the glass windows and doors as well as the metal and glass fixtures were filthy, I mean like they weren't cleaned in a very long time. Hallway rugs and room furniture is old, chipped and not properly cleaned. I was told at check-in (after quietly informing registration staff of my first impression) that the Inn was in the process off being refurbished. That is no excuse for the poor housekeeping and maintenance. Comfort Inn should be ashamed to allow this establishment to operate in this condition.
The first room we went to reeked of smoke even though this is smoke free hotel and the couch was visibly stained. After moving to a new room we found that the cord coming from our air conditioning unit wasn’t long enough to reach the outlet. Also while walking through the trash-filled stairwell, I came across a couple sitting with a bunch of bags doing who knows what but it smelled terrible. During the night I kept getting scratched by something on my sheet only to realize it was a hole burned in my sheet presumably from a cigarette. The one compliment I do have is to the front desk staff when we checked in and the woman running breakfast in the morning. The woman at the front desk was concerned about our experience and did everything that she could to help with the problems. The woman running breakfast was very friendly and attentive. All of these things considered, I would definitely not stay at this hotel again.
very affordable, was clean. They appear to struggle with maintaining building but the place was clean continental breakfast was great. staff was friendly. I have stayed at worse hotels for far more money. Hidden Gem if you are looking for a humble clean place.
Our room was pretty gross, and I'm not one of those people where everything has to be spotless. The door to the room was bowed are the top and bottom, and I remember wondering if the door had been kicked in before. The walls, ceiling, and shower all needed to be removed and replaced. I picked this hotel because we had an early flight and it was close to the airport, but I won't stay here again.
Our beds were clean and comfortable, and the staff was nice.
This hotel is in a very sketchy area and from the outside it just isn't very appealing HOWEVER the inside of the hotel looks completely different! The rooms are so cozy and the sitting areas throughout the hotel are very clean. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast! Also very accommodating for a disabled persons needs.
Place is a little dated. We didn't have towels when we got to our room. Front desk was nice about it and got them for us right away. Bed was comfy.
The positive was the front desk attendant - that’s it.
The sheets were dirty, there wasn’t a blanket, 2 dead wasps on the window sill, dirt around the base of the bed and missing a pillow and an iron (didn’t need that but it wasn’t there) Then the bed was saggy in the middle and a bug crawled across the night stand. The housekeeping staff re-cleaned the room and left the dirty linens outside our room all night. We were just traveling through so toughed it out - no sleep. I have to say this was the first bad experience we have had at Comfort Inn but it was horrific. The killer was a man claiming to be management was there to witness our concerns and then rode down in the elevator with us and never said a word.
The hotel looked dingey as soon as we walked in. Pulling up you could see yellowed curtains in almost every room. As we came to our floor it reeked of smoke regardless of them claiming to be smoke free. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut. Someone had put a screw through it to keep it attached instead of fixing the hinge. The room smell was unknown. The bath tub was scuzzy and the dirt along the walls was disgusting. We ended up booking another hotel for the next night it was so bad. Front desk girl was helpful and friendly but no professionalism in attire. The other hotel guests were unwelcoming. Didn’t bother with breakfast. I can just imagine if they let the rest of the hotel look the way they probably take the same care fixing and serving food. Seem to have no standard.
I stayed in this hotel in July 19. This place was a joke. I booked it online for a rate that they didn't honor and charged me a different rate. They said they didn't have double suite rooms for that price. The room wasn't cleaned properly. It had blueberries on floor and something was behind dresser. I could go on and on about the housekeeping but just to say the least it wasn't properly cleaned. The room door looked like someone kicked it in. This hotel I definitely wouldn't recommend and needs a remodeling because it's not in good shape. The condition of hotel doesn't meet the price. I would give it no stars if I could.
Telephone did not work but was fixed immediately. Next door was noisy but they changed our room very quick. Clean rooms, comfy beds and good breakfast. Rebecca was awesome on the desk and Joseph in the shuttle.
It was really awful. I only spent one night there. The entire hotel probably needs to be demolished and then rebuilt from the ground up. My room lacked a smoke detector. It looked like it had been stolen. Battered up furniture. The lights in the bathroom continually flickered. Drain in the shower was all clogged up. By the way, I have lived in Third World countries and have a high tolerance for primitive lodging situations. But, I was so glad to check out of this place in the morning. On the plus side the staff seemed nice.
Don't even bother! The room was full of roaches and the hall smelled like weed. In addition, everything was broken in the room. Cheap is what you will get. Disappointed. Management needs to get on top of this immediately, or I recommend to closing this place. Please read the reviews before booking!!!!
It was an immense pleasure in staying this business hotel. Shuttle service was very prompt on pickup and drop. They serve good breakfast with a lot of varieties. Some issue with the heater but they were very quick to fix that as well. Definitely going to stay there again.
My sister and I parked our car here for a week(we were going to be out of town). You pay for parking your car there. The hotel clerks and airport van driver were very thorough and kind. Thanks for the great hospitality!
Never again EVER ROACHES BLOOD ON THE SHEETS ROOMS FALLING APART THEY SWITCHED ME 3 TIMES I CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE... I'VE ENJOYED OTHER COMFORT INNS BUT THIS TOO HAVE THE NERVE TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH BWI AIRPORT SHOULD NOT AND CHARGE OVER $100 A NIGHT NOPE FILLED WITH HOMELESS PEOPLE WHICH WOULDN'T BOTHER ME IF THE HOTEL WAS ACTUALLY KEPT UP....I WOULDN'T SUGGEST THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE
By far the worst comfort inn I had ever stayed in.
Took about 30 minutes wait time to check in room and found trashes were in the bathroom, the bed smelled horrible seems like they never replaced bed or pillow sheets, next day back from work and notices no one clean my room nor replace my used towel. Worst then motel 6!
When looking for a hotel , you get what you pay for. Only needed to stay somewhere one night and a place like this I would never stay for more than one. Only reason it's even getting two starts is because of the extremely helpful and friendly front desk staff. Rooms were small but decent , clean enough. The bathroom was pretty terrible, small and I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower in it so I didn't.
Update the bathroom a little bit.
