The place was disgusting. It was so dirty and the entire room had stains everywhere. The door outside was never locked so anyone could enter the hotel where you’d need a key to enter. The room looked nothing like the photos. You have to put down a $100 deposit so I suggest taking pictures of the room and showing the people at the front desk so you can prove it wasn’t you that did any damage and get your deposit back. It was check but definitely not worth it.

I came to Dallas on a last minute business endeavor. I booked the room the night of the flight. check in was a breeze. the attendant at the desk even allowed me to view the room before processing my payment. the room appeared to be in great shape from first glance. after settling in and turning in for the evening I was accompanied by little vermin. there were roaches everywhere. I turned on all the lights in hopes to deter them. I was so worried I barely slept the night. the next morning I opened the curtains to find them making themselves right at home. this was the epitome of a roach motel.

I have zero actual complaints on the room, simply due to the great rate I was able to get it for at the last minute, compared to similarly rated hotels.

Some notes:

I traveled alone, without a vehicle.

The employee checking me in was very pleasant and informative, it was clear he knew what he was doing and enjoyed doing it.

The bathroom looked recently remodeled. It really stood out compared to the rest of the room, almost like I were in different hotels.

The rest of the room was pretty standard of an older hotel, needing restorations and remodeling done- which looked like they were in the process of doing. I was on the fourth floor and checked out before midnight, so I'm not sure about overnight noise- but I did notice many of the room doors, including mine, had to be slammed shut.

Reading some other reviews had me wary of the whole place, so I did a thorough check of the room on arrival. Linens were clean, the floor was attended to. The bed was comfortable and well made. The coffeepot was spotless. The curtains looked a little worn, the phone had buttons smashed in on it, and the alarm clock was in a random place unplugged- none of which affected the quality of my stay. There was an empty cabinet of sorts in the room that looked like it used to or might eventually house a microwave and mini fridge. It wasn't advertised; I didn't ask.

I felt like the green wrapping on the fresh toilet paper roll was a bit obnoxious, but the color ultimately did not hinder my ability to utilize the toilet paper as expected during normal operating conditions.

TL;DR

If I am in the area again, I would stay here if the rate were comparable, but I wouldn't pay much more for the room I had as it was.

Very very very bad customer service. This place is ABSOLUTELY disgusting. As soon as you walk through the front doors you can smell the mold in this place. I paid for a week, found out I was in the wrong area and tried to get a refund but they wouldn’t give it back mind you I did not stay one night in this poor excuse of a hotel. You ask for an owners number and they refuse to give it to you. They aren’t even worth one star.

Please stay away from this place. Customer service is awful. The hotel is in bad shape. Rooms are old. Cheap towels. Smell bad. Pictures is a scam and very misleading. Just pay a few more bucks and have a piece of mind. They make it bad for Dallas.

We had a cultural wedding back in March. I regret booking the event here because customer service was horrible. Darlene the manager is friendly but her staff working that night did not want to provide more chairs and was arguing with my mom (the bride’s mom!) and my uncles. Guests have since told me “seems like that lady didn’t want you guys there”. Quality of the rooms are poor. Me and my bridesmaids left immediately after the event even though we were given a complimentary room. Worst part- I lost my wedding ring and when I told the front desk attendant he kind of chuckled because I asked if anybody turned it in or if the cleaners happened to see it while clearing the room. Pretty sketchy place so definitely a lost cause. 1 star because it is a very cheap place for the ballroom.

If there was a way to give negative stars I would. This place is awful, convenient, cheap, but RUDE. Also, looks like a good deal when booking, but you have to make a $100 deposit. Not just place a card on file, they charge you. Then "refund" you upon checkout.. in 5 - 10 business days. Literally here for a couple hours before our 4 AM flight. I better receive my refund before Im back from vacation.

I give them one star for closeness to airport. The need for repairs and a weekly or monthly contract with an exterminator and better housekeepers is evident. A lack of pride and cash cow greed shows.

I bet this place was amazing in it's hay day. when you first walk in, you're greeted by extremely tall ceilings and balconies on the inside, you'd think you were walking into a mall. There's also a mini golf course, and pool. Which I don't think either of them were usable and at one time, maybe a bar.

It looks like they might be doing some updating. My room; I don't know what it is but the first thing I noticed when I go into a room is the smell, and this room smelled like a grape blunt wrap with mothballs. The bed was way too firm for my taste. Location was perfect to get back to the airport with ease. There's also one or two decent restaurants a block away.
