I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was SO bad that I can't, in good conscience, not let other people know. If I could give it a 0/5, I would. Unless you can't afford a better place, DO NOT stay here. The entire place stank of weed and meth, the interior looked like a run down place from the last century, and even the cops and paramedics (who were at the hotel taking care of an overdose) stopped me after I checked in to warn me to be very careful here. They told me to always keep the door locked, don't leave any valuable in the room, take everything with you when you leave the room (if possible), do not use the side doors, and to check the bed and the closet when I get to the room.

The front desk person gave me a faulty room key TWICE, which normally wouldn't be a bother as I have endless patience, but I simply felt unsafe leaving my room and walking the halls.

There are some good restaurants and fast food places within walking distance, but most of them have a super low rating.

Overall, I wish I had stayed at the airport for the night, it would've been less stressful.

It's a good place to go to if you don't like to be bothered but it's also have some good locations around it like fast food joints like McDonald's Burger King Jack in the Box and a gas station like 7-Eleven and Fox gas station around.

It was painful & creepy. I really wish I slept on the floor at the airport. Not recommended unless you are looking for some kind of abandoned 1930s weird hotel experience.

Management is very rude. The place smells like there is a skunk living in the hallways. It seemed more like a halfway house for addicts than a hotel. Once you make it past the crowd of people smoking at the entrance the room was clean enough, if you don't mind the coffee machine in the bathroom. The best part was the 630am fire alarm. Stay away, its worth an extra $10 to go somewhere else.

The room was clean. This place looks old and needs updating. Very basic room, no coffee pot, no microwave. It was a room with a bed and tv.

Customer service was a little shocking. Have stayed at the hotel in the past and it’s a little older but overall not bad. The service when calling today was very shocking when wanting to ask questions. Will go to another hotel but that is just me.

I bet that every one of you never stopped to even think about just how little it would take to put you ,yourself into that "homeless" category.

From experience, the exact way the public speaks and reacts does not help at all. Please understand that only about 10pct use drugs. People are not always the worst there is.I personally, after been shot thru the face 2 times while stopping a man from beating his wife.Due specifically to that alone it makes stability next to impossible.

Homeless really want to be accepted, not shunned from society. Speaking of dirty...remove any clothes to change into, sleep on the concrete rain or shine, going hungry at least 4 days per week.

How clean would you be? Homeless are just like most others who only want to complete the short thing called life.

It's old and kinda run down, but it's cheap if you're somewhat desperate. The rooms are nicer than the exterior and common areas at least. If times are tough and money is tight it could be an option.

This hotel was gross. Hair clogged the shower drain, the wall mounted blow dryer was filthy, vents filled with dust, window curtains covered in stains, computer chair chewed up, plain and simple; sleep in the airport and save your money before sleeping here.

Sunday, 10:15PM spoke with Mike (Night time Manager - Indian guy (at first did not want to give me his name, and am sure that is not his real name). Absolutely rude and disrespectful. Dfw Airport Hotel and Conference Center needs to really reconsider who they have answering the phone calls. A key thing is hospitality management, I really hope this establishment looks at the people they are hiring.

Extremely bothered. I paid to only park here so that a shuttle could bring me to and from the airport. There were no issues taking me there, but they took over 45 minutes to pick me up. Mind you, it’s only a 7 minute drive. They had me wait outside for nearly an hour, probably so they didn’t have to inconvenience themselves and leave before the top of the hour, as they were already scheduled to do so. I’m very frustrated and won’t use them again for parking.

Gross. Sketchy. The side entrances don't lock so literally anyone can come in. An inch of dirt and grime on the carpets in the hall. Super outdated. Mattress made you fall into the middle, super uncomfortable. We checked in and checked back out 40 minutes later to go to a different hotel

Hotel was dirty, poor customer service, no clean towels available, no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms, no shampoo or conditioner, mold in bathroom, no breakfast, air conditioning is on a very old system and barely works, fountains in lobby don’t work (eye sore), and outdoor pool/ hot tub doesn’t work. Beds are small, and they will charge you for extra people while not providing an extra bed for that guest. Laundry room is open to everyone and you will need to monitor your items. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the money. Motel 6 and Super 8 will provide much more for this cost and be much cleaner. There was also a surprise deposit at check in for $100, but they charged my account an additional $133 instead. I would definitely ask questions before agreeing to check in.

One word: ROACHES (saw them in out bathroom).

The beds are sunken in and very uncomfortable. Luckily we were only staying one night before continuing travels but if you can afford it definitely stay elsewhere. In desperate need of upgrades and attention this hotel just seemed neglected and forgotten about.

My flight home was cancelled and this was the only option. Front desk worker argued with me, claimed they would check my room for damage before letting me leave and if damage was determined they would charge my card a 100.00 dollar deposit.

Went to check out, checked my room, told me to expect refund, initiated refund of deposit, then pulled the money instead, with no grounds.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting, the front desk manager is abrasive, rude and will argue with you openly.

All in all. A complete and total dump of a hotel. They should tear that building down and be done with it. It’s beyond disgusting.

The rent is cheap , people that live here disrespect the building. Also we got our car broken into, witnessed our first rat, roaches of course. The people WHO RENT HERE DON'T RESPECT THE HOTEL, THEY ARE DISGUSTING PEOPLE.

Worst hotel ever !! The only thing appealing is the price. Between everything constantly being broken and the pathetic management I'd personally rather stay in a tent. Everything they say is a lie. Nobody stay there for the love of god !!

If u enjoy multiple colonies of dead bugs, cobwebs in every room, a not so hot shower with no towels, a cold "hottub", and a overall dingy building, then book your now, this is your spot, oh and don't forget your batteries if you would like to use the TV remote. This place SUCKS!!!!

I was looking into renting by month. The rate is good for what they offer, but the place need a deep cleaning. The hall ways on two floor were super dirty, like no vacuum on carpet. Also the rooms I was shown the furniture damaged. It wasn't for me. Even in the office I went to ask, their floor was dirty as well. Karina was super helpful but wasn't there when I arrived, the person that was there wasnt so pleasant.

No air in room at all not even a bathroom fan. Was extremely hot. No phone in room. No amenities whatsoever. Room was not very clean. The halls were disgusting strong smell of urine. They had their trash cans in public areas over flowing. Trash littered every where. No service at all. One front desk worker who couldn't even tell me where to find the ice machines. Oh and they do not even have a microwave or anything you can use in the entire establishment. This place was not only disgusting it was hot and they did not offer any type of convenience or guest service. I have never been to any establishment that was open in business in this condition. There is no way they meet health codes and regulations

This place was absolutely the worst and then the house keepers stole my diamond watch after me going out for a night, I came back & the room was clean but my watch was gone , I made a police report & the police said this always happens with watches. Wow! Wish I knew before getting comfortable & leaving my jewelry. I talked to the managerand he said he would pull the cameras & this day 5 he want callme back. So I will be going up there.

We ended up in this place because we never read the reviews, we arrived and in the front desk one of the guys with glasses took forever to do the check in also was coughing on my I'd (which I washed later), once we received the key walking trough the halls on the 4th floor looked like a nightmare and smelled like MARIJUANA, our room was not that bad but we saw a COCKROACH, the pillows smelled like old man, this place definitely need a remodeling and some cleaning.

If you're looking for a place to stay I recommend you to spend a bit more in another hotel.

The staff was mean rude and inconsiderate of anything. They ask $100 deposit but don't explain the difference in paying with card and cash. Don't give you enough towels soap or toilet paper. Plus I heard multiple guests complaining about the service and the treatment if guests. And they all said the the same thing, "it's not worth the amount of money to be asking for a 100 dollar deposit.

If I could give it a negative score I would. It's so old and outdated. The rooms need renovations badly. When I laid on the bed the springs popped. They take a $100 deposit even though my room was already paid for. They have a sign on the front desk with a list of fines they are threatening to charge you. Its obvious there are people living in this hotel. When I turned on the shower, some black stuff shot out of the shower head. When I went to check out and asked for a receipt It was told someone would have to go smell my room first to make sure I didnt smoke in a non smoking room. Lol, I requested a non smoking room and it stated it on my reservation conformation! Run do not walk away from this place. Honestly it needs to be renovated or better yet bulldozed.

Lobby Presentation – I have to admit it looked a lot outdated and somewhat scary. In fact I thought this was another hotel when I booked it, but after seeing it in person, the hotel I mistook it for would be offended. The lobby looked very uninviting and the hallways were scary.

Room Cleanliness – The sheets were clean, but the couch looked like it had seen better days. The walls had stains on them and the floor carpet had stains and had patches where it appeared to have been repatched or something.

Entertainment – Was horrible the one or two stations that they offered were snowy, and though a channel said Directtv it was obvious they couldn’t have paid the bill.

Maintenance – There was a leak from the ceiling over the sink, the heat didn’t work so the room was cold and drafty. Also, there was water around the base of the toilet.

Safety – I would not recommend this place for solo travelers. I heard a sound like someone was trying to come into the room. I had to yell at them, the door thankfully had a safety hook because I don’t think the lock alone would have held anyone down.

My dad and I live there for a 2 years. It was very nice. The room was clean. The only thing i can say about it. Was with the houses being builed beside it you had a feild mouse come in sometimes.

The housecleaning rarely cleaned the rooms. If they came in they would only give towels not make beds or change trash cans. Rooms smelled bad and roaches crawling everywhere!! On top of that they have mice. Seen 2 in the 1 room I stayed in...gross Wouldn't have my worst enemy stay here

This place is gross. If I could have gave it negative stars I would have. Was here less than a hour and I checked out. Wouldn’t give me my money back of course! Do NOT stay here not worth the rate at all! All airport employees DO NOT stay here!!!! The discount worth it!

The place was disgusting. It was so dirty and the entire room had stains everywhere. The door outside was never locked so anyone could enter the hotel where you’d need a key to enter. The room looked nothing like the photos. You have to put down a $100 deposit so I suggest taking pictures of the room and showing the people at the front desk so you can prove it wasn’t you that did any damage and get your deposit back. It was check but definitely not worth it.

I came to Dallas on a last minute business endeavor. I booked the room the night of the flight. check in was a breeze. the attendant at the desk even allowed me to view the room before processing my payment. the room appeared to be in great shape from first glance. after settling in and turning in for the evening I was accompanied by little vermin. there were roaches everywhere. I turned on all the lights in hopes to deter them. I was so worried I barely slept the night. the next morning I opened the curtains to find them making themselves right at home. this was the epitome of a roach motel.

I have zero actual complaints on the room, simply due to the great rate I was able to get it for at the last minute, compared to similarly rated hotels.

Some notes:

I traveled alone, without a vehicle.

The employee checking me in was very pleasant and informative, it was clear he knew what he was doing and enjoyed doing it.

The bathroom looked recently remodeled. It really stood out compared to the rest of the room, almost like I were in different hotels.

The rest of the room was pretty standard of an older hotel, needing restorations and remodeling done- which looked like they were in the process of doing. I was on the fourth floor and checked out before midnight, so I'm not sure about overnight noise- but I did notice many of the room doors, including mine, had to be slammed shut.

Reading some other reviews had me wary of the whole place, so I did a thorough check of the room on arrival. Linens were clean, the floor was attended to. The bed was comfortable and well made. The coffeepot was spotless. The curtains looked a little worn, the phone had buttons smashed in on it, and the alarm clock was in a random place unplugged- none of which affected the quality of my stay. There was an empty cabinet of sorts in the room that looked like it used to or might eventually house a microwave and mini fridge. It wasn't advertised; I didn't ask.

I felt like the green wrapping on the fresh toilet paper roll was a bit obnoxious, but the color ultimately did not hinder my ability to utilize the toilet paper as expected during normal operating conditions.

TL;DR

If I am in the area again, I would stay here if the rate were comparable, but I wouldn't pay much more for the room I had as it was.

Very very very bad customer service. This place is ABSOLUTELY disgusting. As soon as you walk through the front doors you can smell the mold in this place. I paid for a week, found out I was in the wrong area and tried to get a refund but they wouldn’t give it back mind you I did not stay one night in this poor excuse of a hotel. You ask for an owners number and they refuse to give it to you. They aren’t even worth one star.

Please stay away from this place. Customer service is awful. The hotel is in bad shape. Rooms are old. Cheap towels. Smell bad. Pictures is a scam and very misleading. Just pay a few more bucks and have a piece of mind. They make it bad for Dallas.

We had a cultural wedding back in March. I regret booking the event here because customer service was horrible. Darlene the manager is friendly but her staff working that night did not want to provide more chairs and was arguing with my mom (the bride’s mom!) and my uncles. Guests have since told me “seems like that lady didn’t want you guys there”. Quality of the rooms are poor. Me and my bridesmaids left immediately after the event even though we were given a complimentary room. Worst part- I lost my wedding ring and when I told the front desk attendant he kind of chuckled because I asked if anybody turned it in or if the cleaners happened to see it while clearing the room. Pretty sketchy place so definitely a lost cause. 1 star because it is a very cheap place for the ballroom.

If there was a way to give negative stars I would. This place is awful, convenient, cheap, but RUDE. Also, looks like a good deal when booking, but you have to make a $100 deposit. Not just place a card on file, they charge you. Then "refund" you upon checkout.. in 5 - 10 business days. Literally here for a couple hours before our 4 AM flight. I better receive my refund before Im back from vacation.

I give them one star for closeness to airport. The need for repairs and a weekly or monthly contract with an exterminator and better housekeepers is evident. A lack of pride and cash cow greed shows.

I bet this place was amazing in it's hay day. when you first walk in, you're greeted by extremely tall ceilings and balconies on the inside, you'd think you were walking into a mall. There's also a mini golf course, and pool. Which I don't think either of them were usable and at one time, maybe a bar.

It looks like they might be doing some updating. My room; I don't know what it is but the first thing I noticed when I go into a room is the smell, and this room smelled like a grape blunt wrap with mothballs. The bed was way too firm for my taste. Location was perfect to get back to the airport with ease. There's also one or two decent restaurants a block away.
