Gets a little confusing at night when they close certain escalators and stuff, but for the most part nicely laid out. Definitely non smoking and pricey as airports always are. The moving sidewalks are a plus and help you get where you need to go quickly. There are also trams that are helpful! Lots of great options available for shopping and food!

Nice down home family restaurant. Nothing fancy just great comfort food. Bacon was excellent! Meals reasonable. Wait staff memorized orders and were quick and efficient. I'll bee back.

Very clean and spacious airport! I was pretty much on the Delta airline side of the airport. There are lots of food options including a food court. Directories were available in the area which was very helpful. It had a "mall" feel to it which was nice for an airport. Tram transport was available to go to different areas and gates. For a really big and international airport, they seem to keep this place very clean. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere of this airport.

I’ve travelled around the world and been to many airports, but this is one of the best ones.
The recent remodel of the ticketing area is a nice improvement (which I understand is just the beginning of a huge remodel).
There are several Delta Clubs, plenty of eating options and plenty of parking. At peak times parking may be limited and you may need to park at the other terminal however.

We were at terminal 1 of American Airlines Minneapolis airport for couple of hours during a lay over. The airport is well designed and clean. The staff is very efficient. Restrooms are very clean. There are plenty of seating areas and abundant eating options. There are so many that you will be spoilt for choice. Also there are lot of stores. If your flight is late you will have plenty of opportunity do window shop.

#1 Airport in my eyes. So convenient. Check in and security so easy and smooth. Restraint and snack options are great. Best restrooms of any airport I travel through. Great experience!

One of the cleanest airport bathrooms I've ever been in.
Has the most incredible restaurant The cook & the ox!
Nursing mother places.
So many shops and restaurants to see! They have something for everyone. Multiple organic restaurants and vending machines. Chickfila and countless others.
Special thanks to Joseph who worked at gate F2 for Delta and found the MSP stickers for my 20 students passports! So grateful for your help!

Very clean and very busy! At least on the weekends. Arrived midday and there were a nice amount of stores and eateries open. For our first time here it wasn't bad at all. And the area to get picked up by ride-share wasn't a nightmare like some airports so that was a plus.

No complaints. Overall a good experience. We had a long layover on our return trip so we went and found the observation tower. It's over by terminal D and it's not marked . you Go up 3 flights of stairs . The kids really enjoyed that. You can watch the planes take off and land and it's very quiet up there.

This airport is beautiful! There's cool digital signs telling you the TSA wait from across the check-in desk area. So many great dining options and water bottle refill stations. Seriously impressed.

Always clean and hopping. Lots of food choices from fast food, healthy, and sit-down restaurants. There are QR codes to scan to find the restaurants. The moving walkways really help and rail is also convenient to move quicker. I enjoy the massage chairs throughout the place. Good way to chill amidst the crazy travel.

Super clean and easy to navigate. Plenty of food options ranging from fast food to casual sit down restaurants. This airport has great gift shops with Minnesota gifts, books, candy, clothes and about anything else you can think of. The restrooms were very clean and had good size stalls with hooks and shelves to make it easier to manager your purse or bags. There is ample, comfortable seating throughout with the ability to charge your electronics wherever you sit. I enjoyed my 3+ hour layover here.

Pretty easy to get around. Left from Terminal 1. Hotel dropped us right off in front for shuttle parking. You can check your bags right inside and then head upstairs to go through security. Everyone was really friendly and it went really smooth. Definitely a great airport to fly out of!

This is one vast airport. There is so much to see, shop, eat, and drink. They have moving walkways throughout the airport, trams/trains in other sections. This airport is very clean. I had a longer layover, and there was enough here to watch, get coffee, and keep me entertained for a few hours.

First time flying in years and my first time in MSP, so this may be old news, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in regards to traveler comfort.
Creative and versatile eateries, shops and even the restrooms are pleasant to use!

What a great airport!
Big and bright.
Clean and comfortable.
Easy to navigate and excellent signage.
Many shops and restaurants if you need to kill some time.
One thing of particular note where are the bathrooms. They were so spectacularly clean! The stalls were large and easily accommodated your luggage with plenty of room to spare. 12 out of 10 for the bathrooms!

Wow, first time here and unbelievable security lines on 1/21/24! Make sure you give yourself an extra hour to get through security here if you do not have TSA precheck, which I do but My mother didn't. We arrived an hour and 15 minutes ahead of take off for a flight to Tampa with boarding passes in hand, no checked bags and the line was insane at 4:45am. It took us 45 minutes to get through security, and I had to get to gate 1 from 9 where security it. I sprinted to get to the gate while my poor mother tried to catch up as they were sounding final boarding call for our 5:45am Sun County flight. The gate was closing as I approached about to pass out and luckily we made it on by literal seconds and an extremely nice gate agent. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life and I travel all over the world to major airports. My elderly Mom could hardly breathe as she scanned her boarding pass. The TSA guy said it's the airlines fault for having so many flights depart at the same time. Apparently we were waiting on the K9 dogs to get ready and they only had 1 check point open. It was a basic, non holiday Sunday and I'm certain many people missed flights because of this mess is security.

Nice airport. Easy to get around. Lots of great food options. And a secret observation deck, located up a stairwell, near the McDonalds.

I've had a couple of layovers here, and I am never disappointed. One of the nicer airports to fly through that's layout is actually easy to navigate. The tram comes every 3 minutes, so you aren't stuck waiting in a rush. Very clean and lots of places to shop or eat if you need. Overall, it is very pretty and recommend even if you are new to layovers.

5 stars for the restrooms alone! No trying to maneuver in a tiny space and it is very European that the walls and doors go nearly to the floor. Plus there are plentiful hooks and they are not on the door, which is a nice security feature. Flew in and out and signage is clear and plentiful.

A nice, spacious, and comparatively quiet airport... Lots of shops and restaurants, including a food court. Helpful airport staff and fast immigration. Plenty of charging points throughout the seating area and a special Quiet Seating Area is there as well for taking naps

Great clean airport. Easy to get around. Friendly people. We usually fly American, but MSP seems to be a Delta Hub. Good signage to baggage claim. Good signage to car rental. Good experience overall.

Well designed and visually appealing.
Seats are comfortable too and best part is they don't use the seat dividers on every row like so you can't lay down..
Bc perhaps you are trying to depart your Frontier flight and you board at MSP at 4:45pm but end up flying no where and the airline finally concedes and covers a hotel room for those that didn't just cancel and pay 3x as much to rebook another airline ( which is the whole point in making it an unbearably long wait) at 12:55am over 8 hours later. 😤😤😤

My first time flying into thru airport. Plenty of space to walk. Great food options spaced out appropriately. Plenty of clean facilities for the bathroom. Nice taste of the North Country with design to match. Only complaint is the LONG concourses from one end to the other. Nice airport. It would be beautiful in the winter with all the windows!

Do you know there is a Quiet Area to wait for your flight? It's on the second floor. The space is great to get away from the crowds. There are mattresses if you need a nap

The airport is up and running efficiently, TSA is doing a great job screening passengers in a timely manner. The restaurants and shops are open and serving customers.
It's very easy to get in and out of the airport.

Such an easy airport to navigate. Terminal 2 has lots of great food, and I definitely recommend Barrio, which is a Mexican restaurant that sells great-tasting tacos (but are a little bit pricey). For people who are flying for the first time, the signage is clear and is frequent, so there’s no need to worry about where to go. All in all, it’s a great airport to get around to with great food!

240623- crazy lines for check bags. Went to bag drop, but thinking it was too heavy, I went through assistance... after waiting 45 minutes, I went to the bag drop and got through a line of about 100 people in 20 minutes. They were doing great getting people through the security lines. Good thing I got here early.
It went so smooth. Shuttle in, through security quickly, security even wished me happy early birthday. Great trip even with the delay due to weather.

Very nice airport here in Minneapolis. Easy switching to and from terminals. Lots of moving sidewalks. There is a mini food court in terminal F with some great selections of GF items (Peoples Organic). Seemed clean for the most part too. This would be a desired stop when you have a layover. Cute shops and lots to see.

A very nice airport. Many restaurant choices, a tram between terminals, clean bathrooms and many seats have working power outlets.
Delta has a hub here, so you can fly from here to pretty much any medium or large US airport. Lots of international destinations also.
Terminals are laid out well. Ample parking in the garages. Easy to get to airport via the highway. There is even an airplane/airport themed playground in Terminal C.

I have to say this airport is nice and huge, its not as busy to others. They have many food options and stores. They also have a tram system with onsite rentals car. It’s clean all over and floors are kept up. The flow is good because sometimes with heavy traffic it will take a long time to move though TSA. It’s simple and straight forward, I like it a lot they also have many flights from here which makes it easy for me. I love the Twin cities because it’s beautiful and have great people. This is my top 5 of all airports, so take a good look around you won’t be disappointed.

It's a large airport with very clean facilities and nice shops. Easy to get around without getting lost. Traveling first thing in the morning is always convenient, you avoid the hustle and bustle of people in a hurry, you check in quickly especially on Delta Airline, the assistant staff is professional and very friendly.

First time flying (technically it’s not but I was 1 last time I flew so what memory do I have of that…) so everything was confusing to me. I noticed this airport seemed more strict than the airport that I was coming from. If I understood what was going on I feel like it would have been easier to get around. Seemed welcoming and easier to maneuver than the other airport I was coming from. Plenty of seats. Plenty of food stops. No complaints that I can recall.

FLY IN HERE! CLEAN! FUN OF INTERESTING MINNESOTA ART! We traveled here for vacation to visit friends not seen in over thirty years! Since we had a connection flight out of Kansas (horrible airport), we were assuming the worst. We were so pleasantly surprised however. MSP is an awesome, clean, and friendly space. Very impressed with the level of detail and navigation here. We spent a good amount of time before taking our shuttle actually to view the artwork and photos around the area. Very good restaurant selections as well. The only caveat (which is true of all of Minnesota) is the early closing times of the shops. They start pairing down right after 8 pm, with a drop dead closure at 9 pm. That really sucks as we were delayed in Kansas, and got there to find most eateries closed. Otherwise, great airport! Would definitely flight in here again.

For the OVERNIGHT travelers, there is a quiet zone in Terminal 1. It’s very close to the Delta Club lounge in concourse F. Just going up the stairs , on the second floor, it’s the quiet zone for the travelers with sofa and some pads .
It’s bright and safe with security cameras around , but maybe not too good for sleepers. It’s quiet between 10pm-4am.
Some small guys (mice) come out for food at night .

We’ll run airport and I loved the indoor car rental terminal that you get to using the tram! I ours imagine it’s because it doesn’t make sense for people to freeze outside waiting for shuttles.

Feels homey and "Minnesota Nice" although portions are still under construction. For those of you who haven't been to Minnesota, here is what that means:
Minnesota carries a feeling of warmth within its chill—a place where the rugged beauty of the outdoors meets the genuine kindness of its people. Known for its lakes, dense forests, and vibrant cities like Minneapolis and St. Paul, the state feels like a balance between natural tranquility and bustling culture.
In the summer, Minnesota feels alive with shimmering lakes, endless trails, and the golden light of long days, while in the winter, there’s a bracing crispness, softened by the comfort of a crackling fireplace or the laughter of a snowball fight.
The sense of community is tangible, with "Minnesota Nice" reflected in small acts of courtesy, like holding the door a little longer or waving to strangers on a hiking path. It’s a place where traditions like ice fishing, cabin weekends, and state fairs connect generations, while a thriving arts scene and diverse cultural festivals infuse it with modern energy.
Minnesota feels like home, even if you’re just visiting—a mix of serene landscapes, genuine hospitality, and a deep appreciation for both the quiet moments and the lively ones.

Clean beautiful airport. Every time I’m here they have long lines for security check in. Delta has a new modern section and is a great airline to fly out of the MSP airport. Good food choices and overall nice.

This is probably one of the most cleanest airports that I have ever flown through. It is easy to negotiate your way through the airport, everything is wry clean and well maintained, and there are plenty of people to give you directions. The restaurants are not crowded and there are plenty of things to do while waiting for your flight.

This Midwestern airport serves as a major connecting hub for Delta Airlines, as well as others.
The airport has dozens of restaurants from quick bites, to fast-food, to sit-down establishments where you can unwind between flights.
There are also plenty of shopping areas for souvenirs, electronics, packaged snacks, and high-end items. If you need anything, you'll pretty much find it.
The airport itself is good at announcing gate changes, and has electric carts to assist the mobility-challenged. Trams also circle from terminal to terminal for quicker movement.
One restaurant I recommend (if you have some time) is the Lake Wine Kitchen and Bar, which has some very good Italian dishes!

Minneapolis- Saint Paul is a very beautiful place. The food was fantastic. The Mall of America is so large I think it 5 or maybe 7 levels of shopping and food, it is really fantastic, love Minnesota will definitely be going back.

This quaint little airport has made us want to visit Minnesota! Never in our life would we think that but we had a layover here and it was the most charming little airport! It’s very easy to navigate because it’s so small but an extra couple maps wouldn’t hurt. The bathroom was very clean and looked recently updated. There was a nice amount of restaurants, shops, seating, charging stations, & artwork. Our flight also left on time and all the staff we encountered was super friendly.
The only things we didn’t like is that there is a surcharge for ‘hospitality’ on everything in the airport that doesn’t get paid to the workers. If I remember correctly, it’s 3.4% on every total purchase, which adds up with regular tax on top of that as well! There was also a bit of construction as you can see in the second photos. Ceiling tiles were missing, exposing piping above, where our gate was.

Quite a massive airport easily accessible. It was Labor Day weekend, and the lines were packed like you can imagine, but it went through pretty quick. There was a lot to do around the airport while waiting to take off, and the restrooms were clean enough. I think the city is doing great with this space, and there were some renovations/remodeling going on, I'm excited to come back and see what it will look like.
And hopefully, they upgrade the seats, old seats, and no available charging ports for laptops and phones.

This airport is pretty cool. From the hour long lines for TSA to the aged infrastructure. They are doing the best they can with what they have. I didn't have any airport based difficulties, which made it a fairly nice facility with decent options.

Smooth process getting in and out. Like that there is public transit that is easy to take to and from the airport to downtown. Also plenty of food options and enough bathrooms.

Nice, neat, and Cool Airport. I bought a chicken burger 🍔 in one of the restaurants their, it was expensive and a mess. Their toilets are decent.
The US Border Contol officers there are friendly, courteous, and professional.
