Sheraton Airport Hotel (DFW)

Bed seemed firmer than desirable or expected. Everything except analog phone worked. Shower drained fast (while in use.) Hot water came very quickly. TV hard to plug in HDMI cable for use with laptop. Couldn't figure out how to turn on subtitles on tv.

This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure!



The young man checking us in was so helpful and funny. The bartender that evening, I wish I knew their names, was very nice. The hotel was just what we wanted! It was very clean. That will definitely be my go-to hotel when I am in Irving Dallas.

I had a pleasant stay at this place! Its not a new hotel but everything was here and all the staff are very helpful. Also the food at the bar is pretty good!

Clean1 ,affordable , attentive staff. Would highly recommend if you want an affordable place near the airport. They also offer a free shuttle to the airport.

We had to stay the night in DFW after a miscommunication in airline layovers. We scrambled for a back up plan and were able to get a last minute room here with 2 adults and an infant. They were so accommodating bringing up a crib for our baby and a mini fridge for our milk for her. I will forever be grateful for the great customer service on a stressful day and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in dfw

I was very pleasantly pleased. The room was great. Just the bed was a little too hard for me. The staff was so kind and friendly. The breakfast was pretty darn good, too!

Pros: great restaurant on site, Whiskey Tango, and amazing breakfast spread. Tall showerheads, pleasant rooms with fridge and huge TV. Very masculine feel to the rooms with unisex bath products called warm oak that work really nicely even though leaving women with a slight masculine scent. However, if you're single like me, having a scent of a man lingering is kinda pleasant:) Food is delicious at the restaurant and has a nice open feeling to the entire area. More business oriented guests during the week, but appeared more leisure over the weekend. Certain floors are completely renovated, so ask for that because they're really nice. Bonvoy points work here. And lots of shuttle service to airport and limited local areas with professional staff making sure you're on time.



Cons: No real room service, so if you get sick or have a craving, order from instacart instead. Noisy due to being close to the airport, but if you travel with a noise canceling device or earplugs, you'll be fine.

I want to shout out to Richard in Maintenance, the front desk staff, Aiyanna, Rodriguez, Meredith, the unnamed turndown staff, and Danielle and the Breakfast team who always make my overnights wonderful. I look forward to seeing them each and every time I stop in. Thank you. The Sheraton has assembled a great team of people here.

I enjoyed it. The bathrooms and rooms have a bit of an older style, but everything was clean and seemed to be well kept.



The staff was friendly, but I do think some breakfast menu options were a bit overpriced. The gym is decently equipped with some treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and free weights.



The pool seemed small for the size of the hotel but I didn't see anyone use it during my stay.



I heard the bars food is really good but I didn't have a chance to try it. The airport is really close and the shuttle is convenient!

Clean rooms, and comfy beds. Seriously wanted to steal the bed if I could. And the staff is super friendly and just fun to talk to during your stay. My only complaint or note would be that every time the A/C kicks on in your room it sounds like someone is opening your door which is a little freaky the first few times it happens. Overall though recommended.

The staff was very fast and friendly. The entire experience was very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle driver who picked me up from the Dallas Fort Worth airport was exceptionally hospitable very informative and friendly. Considering that I had missed a connecting flight, he made the experience enjoyable. Thank you

I recently stayed at this hotel and received great customer service from Yolanda. She was polite and helped me through the process of getting a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. I also came across Star who is another employee and she was very pleasant, as well. The shuttle bus driver, Darrin was very helpful and nice. It was really refreshing to meet such nice people during a chaotic trip.

It has wonderful event hosting sites, it's the perfect place for anything elegant. The rooms are very accommodating, overall the inside is organized nicely and has a nice view of the city

Very nice hotel! Had a mini fridge, no microwave but there was one a few floors up we were able to use. Comfy bed, lots of soft pillows. Right by the airport but didn't notice any plane noise at all. Also had a safe, which was nice!

Beautiful clean hotel with delicious food, we had the buffet style burger. The chicken and the beef was moist and tender. The server was friendly and very attentive. Definitely a nice hotel to stay and enjoy some quiet time.

Good hotel - Super amazing (King) bed. Tub had some drainage issues but DID drain. Bar personnel are very cool, and the menu (did not eat) looked very good, and listening to other patrons, seem’d to be in good quality and portion. Even as status, did not get the extended checkout, but this could have been based on the availability. Checkin staff were fine and courteous. Would stay here again - business only though.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay. Some of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The house keeping staff could definitely be better.

If I could give 10 stars i would! Albeit short, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton. This was my first time visiting a Sheraton as a Bonvoy member, and they were very helpful and accommodating. I arrived before check-in time (by hours) and they still gave me a room. The bellhops assisted me with my bags, and when I got to my floor, Sandra, a housekeeper saw me struggling and too helped me with my bags. (Shout out to Sandra!) My room was nice and clean, and when I didn’t have a fridge they promptly brought one for me and set it up. The TV was on and had a tailored greeting message for me, which I thought was neat. Also, I needed multiple things printed and the woman out front (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) with the dark red hair with bantu knots was very helpful in everything I asked for. They honestly went above and beyond and helped me get and do what was necessary because I fell short on some preparations. The bartender, I didn’t get his name (an older male) was very funny as I was waiting for my food. Every employee I came across was just amazing. It’s conveniently located by DFW and they also offer air shuttle service round the clock. I will definitely be staying here next time I fly out.

We got a room here compliments of American Airlines(plane issues). Best of the option hotels they offer. First room was fine except for no working TV. They came quickly to fix it but it could not be fixed, so we were quickly switched to the room next door. Ate at Whiskey tango inside the hotel. Had 2 $12 meal vouchers. Food was excellent. Would stay here again if delayed or if just passing through. Very close to airport.. Nice shuttle service to/from airport.

Just fine in terms of quality. The rooms were fine and pretty clean but several things throughout the hotel were broken like multiple ice machines and part of the curtains in the room. Above average breakfast set up and the bar was pleasant but nothing special.

My wife and I overnighted between landing as DFW at 10PM and flying out the next morning at 7AM. We rode the free airport shut both ways, which was one of the reasons I booked with this hotel. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and great front desk service. Shuttle was easy and quick.

I stayed here for free because my flight was delayed, I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel was so comfortable to stay in.

I really like this hotel. The staff is friendly, quick and professional. The hotel itself is very nice, well maintained and comfortable. My only recommendation would be to avoid floors 10-12 in the summertime. They do not seem to cool well and as such are not comfortable to sit in let alone sleep.



The restaurant is quite good. I highly recommend the brisket mac n cheese and their Brussel sprouts.

Restaurant and lounge are great. Loren the bartender/server is very friendly and attentive despite having to cater to a large crowd...seemed to be a large company social gathering occurring in the evening. She divided her time well supporting the social gathering as well as the standard patrons at the lounge area.



Room was spacious and cozy.



I requested to change rooms, only because original room was in a high traffic area. The nice lady at the front desk eagerly and graciously accommodated my request.

Solid place to stay over before your flight ✈️.

The parking was cheaper than the airport and seemed safe. I had a pretty good experience

The rooms were outdated and small. The location seems a little seedy but it was convenient to the airport. Earns 5 stars though due to Chef James and Chef Thomas for personally taking care of my special dietary needs. Aimee was very pleasant at breakfast each day.

Whoa! So excited to come back! Booked this hotel for a excellent rate at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I enjoyed this resort and I'm extremely thankful I stayed at my favorite place for much less than what I usually pay.

The smell from the air freshener is absolutely overpowering. It's so strong that is makes you wonder what smell they're trying to hide.

Good breakfast options.

Snacks in the evening were sparse.

Inconvenient storage of drinks (small fridges on the floor).

(Heavy!) lids for breakfast food are under heat lamps, so they cover the handles with paper napkins so they're not too hot to pick up. Hot plates or induction plates have been used for years in other lounges and are very effective at keeping food hot without making the lids too hot to pick up. They should think about the convenience of their guests.



Convenient access via shuttle bus to DFW. Adequate on-site parking.

By far and away one of my favorites!! The staff is amazing. The hotel versus the price is the best value. Five star living with three star prices. Large hotel with every amenity. Close to Dallas forth airport and Love field. Also within 5-10 of some of the best food in Dallas.

The staff was more than friendly and completely accommodating. The hotel was clean, the rooms were very comfortable and well placed. I was there for a symposium and I heard no complaints about the hotel or the service. Job very well done Sheraton DFW.

Well maintained, most of the staff is very friendly. Food service except at breakfast is very good. Very near the airport. Great view of planes landing, though you can't hear them.

Absolutely loved it. I'm a member of the group so maybe I am biased.

It was clean and smelt fresh. It's all about cleanliness and smell for me and it ticked the box nicely, however the breakfast was disappointing and my daughter fell ill after eating there.. on a positive note we all had a good night sleep that has to be a plus!

I just simply seem to sleep better in Sheraton beds, and this was no different. The lounge was open for salty snacks, soda and water. Nothing great, but most lounges are still closed elsewhere. Didn't try their breakfast.

The hotel needs a renovation; but the staff went above and beyond and they made it a great experience; always helpful, great service. Thank you at the desk Rodríguez, Darius, and the drivers Tom, Bill, and Jim all were great and make you feel very welcome, they make you want to return. Management is very friendly and other staff also.

Great location with an amazing staff, great restaurant and bar on site also. I stay here regularly and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. This week with the ice storms in the area I had a group of customers get stranded. The staff at Sheraton were able to save the day and take care of this group. I can’t thank you enough!

I had a missed connection and AA gave me an option to stay here. My check in took literally one minute. The woman at the desk had the key ready as soon as I told her who I was. So the staff is 5 star.



I was in a room on the 9th floor. The room was very clean. However the AC wasn’t working adequately. It was a little warm in the room. Not unbearable, but not comfortable either.



Still, that happens anywhere from time to time. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.



Oh! They have a very nice restaurant as well. I didn’t dine there, but the menu looks decent.

Stayed here last month for a business. I really enjoyed the hotel. The staff provided excellent customer service!

Our flight out of DFW was canceled leaving us scrambling late at night for a hotel. I called and they immediately sent a shuttle for us. We arrived with absolutely no luggage and they gave us all the toiletries we needed to get us feeling human again. The next morning they gave us a late checkout because of the travel mess we were in. I was literally in tears because of how friendly, kind and helpful the entire staff was.

Overall, a very pleasant stay with great comfort and amenities. Front desk very friendly and helpful. I arrived four hours early and they were able to get me checked in early. My stay came with club access, free breakfast buffet, and a $25 credit for food at their onsite restaurant Whiskey Tango.



The room itself was standard but the bed and pillows were so comfortable, I slept like a baby from 930pm-730am! Wow! What I liked the most about the room was the large showerhead and robe. Before going to bed, I treated myself to a warm bath and comfortable robe lay down while watching a movie.



Their TV includes streaming options that you can log into if you have a subscription, but that's not really needed as there is local TV and Showtime to watch.



I got a nice afternoon workout in the fitness center. It was such a great amenity! Treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals for cardio, a few select weight machines, pulley system, free weights, yoga mats, and foam rollers! It took me about five minutes to decide what workout I wanted to do with all of those options!



After my workout, I took a dip in the pool. It's a little on the small side but considering this is a hotel aimed at business persons and conventions, I doubt they needed to go much bigger. The pool was clean with clear water, and towels accessible right before you walk in.



So why the four stars? I wish I could give them four and a half because my last point is only a small fraction of my experience. The buffet breakfast, while plentiful in options was cold. I had eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pineapple juice, cereal, and an apple. The eggs and potatoes, I took one bite of and couldn't finish. They were cold and hard. Bacon was good, and so was the biscuits and gravy but both were cold. I was able to get through those before settling on cereal and an apple.



Overall, would I go back? Yes. Would I try the breakfast again? Maybe if I get up at 6am for when it's fresh. Do I recommend anyone to stay here? Absolutely.

Older looking hotel but nice on the inside. The price was ok. The bed was nice, and the bathroom 🚻 was clean. The breakfast was 19.95, each without a coupon. Nice TV 📺. The plugs were few and loose. The internet was slow. The drive up didn't have any assistance with luggage.

Arrived at DFW. Called the number for the complimentary shuttle service which picked us up within 30 min. Was pleasantly greeted at the front desk at check in. Hotel is comfortable. Club lounge seems to be in a temporary room, but had everything we needed. Rooms are clean. All staff members we interacted with were professional and polite. Very convenient to the airport. I would stay here again for sure.

The hotel and staff are great. The one star led than 5 is due to there reassurance and bar cituation. They need to get their old manager back. If you don't want the over priced junk on the buffet you are forced to go to the bar and order and it is crowded during a convention.

Breakfast is ok, but not as it has been for the passed 10 or so years we have been coming there.

Lovely and clean. They treated our dance team very well. Their catering was incredible and the service was full of lovely friendly people.

After getting a VERY friendly pat down from a TSA agent at 4:30 am followed by being tested for explosives, we made our flight. When we arrived in Dallas, the rental car company happily took my credit card, sold me up on some products, then told me the car I had reserved was not available and I could wait around until one was turned in or pay for an upgrade. I declined and they told me it would be difficult to give my deposit back. Luckily they were wrong and I was able to cancel my reservation and be stranded on my stubborn principals alone. It was brought to my attention that the Sheraton had a shuttle and at this point I would have done about anything to leave the airport, so I called them.



As quickly and pleasantly as possible they were there loading our luggage and us into the van. When we arrived, the lobby was clean and a welcoming face greeted us and attempted to check us in, just to discover we had no reservation. It turned out we shuttled to the wrong Sheraton. I laughed and explained what a day we had already had and it was only 9am. They gave me all of the information I needed to get to our booked location and they were ready to get us into a room at this location if we had any problems. They also gave my teens and I a beautiful complimentary breakfast while we put our plans back together and got on track. Thank you Hilda and I’m so sorry I didn’t catch your associates name. They really went above and beyond and we were so grateful for their unexpected generosity. I hope your managers see this. You are outstanding humans and represented your company so well.

First stay at the Sheraton DFW for a 3 day business trip. Rooms are ok and a bit dated. However staff at the hotel was helpful, especially Harriet from the Club Lounge who provided outstanding service for food, snacks and beverages. Overall the hotel is close to DFW and has okay rooms for 1 - 2 people. The hotel needs a bit of updating on the exterior as well
