We had a wonderful experience here. The kids loved the pool. Not much for breakfast options, but what was there, was good. Our TV stopped working at one point so we called the front desk and they took care of it quickly. Very nice staff. And great for the price.
In addition to my other review the hotel management was asleep and they threw a tantrum because we had woke them up. Ridiculous! One of my cousins works for AAA and I will have him remove any stars this hotel has. The carpet smells like urine and I see crumbs and stains everywhere. The bathroom is atrocious, I bet the hotel owners don’t care about the guests, just about the money. Expect bugs in your room. Owners have been seeing horrible reviews but dont care, as long as they get money right. No way in hell you should pay more than $20 a night for this place.
I stayed here for 9 nights in total. I was charged 1k, for this and let me just say this was no 1k worth hotel. If anything I would've had the same experience at a motel for 50$ a night. When arriving I was overcharged for my deposit, "$250", and I had to go and demand they give me my money back. When doing so the front desk lady was VERY rude and acted as if she couldn't help me and even said the person who did this wasn't there. After going back to my room not even 5 mins I received a call from the manger who WAS THERE the entire time. I was able to get '$150'back since the deposit was $100 and I was charged '$250'. Here I sit a week later after leaving and guess what... I still haven't received my $100 deposit back. I am going to just assume the hotel does this often and scams people out of $100 or $250. So I have to call them and more than likely go there and inform them that I haven't gotten my deposit back and it's been over a week. They don't do daily room service. Room service doesn't come and clean the room AT ALL. I wanted new sheets and had to put them on the bed MYSELF. And the day before I left they had the audacity to send someone to my room and ask for room service, mind you I've been there for 8 nights. The hotel room stinks. I had to spray air freshener but even that couldn't help the funk that ran throughout that room. It was as if the room was sweating, just stinky and no matter how much scents used it still smelled like a smelly person.
This hotel was extremely dirty. All the carpets had stains on them. There was a very potent skunk like smell the permeated throughout the hotel. After a long drive towards home in TN, we were looking forward to a nice soak in the hot tub. However, shortly after we arrived, four boys age ten and under came in roughhousing and being very loud. We decided to leave, and I mentioned the boys being in there without supervision to the front desk clerk. She did nothing to remedy the situation, leaving the boys alone where one or more of them could get hurt. The children had already tracked a large amount of water in the hallway to the elevator but instead of mopping it up they just stuck a wet floor sign in the giant puddle. They assigned us to a room, but when we arrived there, the cleaning lady had just begun to clean it, so we had to wait about thirty minutes. Once inside the room, there were crumbs on the carpet and what appeared to be cheese crumbles in the bath sink. If we had not been so exhausted we would have asked for a refund and found a different hotel. The walls were paper thin, so you could hear everything next door. Only one lamp worked and it's shade was torn and tattered. I was unable to access the internet on my computer. There also appeared to be a sex worker hanging out outside, sometimes going in the building and coming back out later. She could be heard discussing prices with men at a table outside. She disappeared when the police showed up (we are unsure who called them nor if they were even there because of her presence) but came back later. She was there when we went up to bed and was there when we came down early the next morning. The only thing positive I can say about this hotel is the hot tub worked and was clean. I would never stay here again and will encourage my traveling friends and family to avoid it if at all possible. Due to these deplorable conditions, I will be asking for a refund or a free nights stay in another Choice hotel.
The room was decent but the bathroom door would not close securely and the toilet lid was chipped pretty badly. The pool was cloudy and appeared to be the community pool because people entered who were not guests in the hotel. Actually, it appeared as if a lot of locals just drop in the hotel to hang out. The owners need to address the smoking area. The grounds were littered terribly and a lot of loitering. I would not stay here again.
Check in process was horrible. The employee(Jada) that took our reservation over the phone didn't know policy or the employee at the front desk when we arrived didn't know policy. Jada booked our reservation knowingly that I myself was not gonna be present when my husband checked in so therfore she quoted me a rate of 129.99 and proceeded to get my husband card information. because she stated he would have to have a card with his name on it and his identification because I wasn't gonna be present at check in. So when he arrives at motel the desk clerk states he can't check in because its in my name even though its his card number on file and he has his identification. So I requested to speak with the manager which I never did because he wouldn't call me.But the kicker is because it was their mistake by not giving correct information they changed the rate from 129.00 to 149.00. The motel is not a 5 star or top rated but at least I figured the hospitality and willingness to make a wrong a right would have been given to my husband. This hotel has definitely not heard the last from myself. I never mind paying any charge but i definitely do mind being given wrong information then being taking advantage of because they knew my husband needed the room because it wasn't any other vacancies near by..Please make sure when booking a reservation you receive correct information. but my advice is look for another motel if possible..A motel can not be on a 5 star level but if the staff is pleasant and accomdating then most times we can overlook the small town motel.Moral of the story Jada was more interested in signing me up for the choice rewards program and that's why she needed my name because she wanted me to listen to the person about a vacation deal for choice rewards program to receive 250 points on my next stay after she completed my reservation. I will definitely keep calling and writing reviews and using my word of mouth so no one else will end up in this situation. The audacity to charge an extra 20.00 for miscommunication on Jada part which is their employee no third hand party was involved. That's the part that really upsets me.My husband for the most part is very laid back but his wife cannot let this issue3go because I feel I was definitely taken advantage of by the up charge if anything he should have received an apology a discount or something..
If you have no where else to go this is good. I wish their pool was cleaner and the windows to the pool were more pristine. I also wish they didn't let people smoke weed outside because the entire hotel smells of it. So maybe they can invest in an oil defuser. At least the lobby people were nice. I didn't get a chance to eat the Breakfast.
Room was arranged by Delta. Hotel is run down. When I walked into the room it reeked of cigarettes. Check in person was very nice and helpful. The beds were clean and actually comfortable. Clean bathrooms and good shower and towels.
Airport shuttle was on time.
The bed was comfortable but the hotel was dirty and in need of renovations. The carpets didn't appear to be vacuumed all weekend. There were smudges on the bathroom mirror and food crumbs found under the bed.. Also disappointed there wasn't a hot breakfast.
Decent value for money BUT wi-fi does not work, room service has not cleaned under the couch in weeks or months, and they do so much park-and-fly that it is nearly impossible to find a place to park. Breakfast is missing many advertised items. On the bright side, saw no roaches and it was close to the Georgia Renn Fest
Hotel room appeared to be recently renovated not in bad condition with the exception of toilet being broken. We did not feel safe as there were non-registered guest roaming the property as well as individual walking hallway brandishing a semi automatic pistol with clear extended magazine. Brought it to attention of staff and was told they would bring it to the general manager. Hot tub appeared to be clean, clear and in good working order; swimming pool appeared to be dirty and full of murky water that almost gave the appearance of being green.
Parking was limited as hotel shuttle van was parked in handicap spot in order to afford more parking to guest. Cars were double parked outside of parking spaces in front of entrance.
It's been a meangful and educational experience so far and it is still the beginning of very significant relationship
The rooms were very clean and the bed were very comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are awesome great customer service all of the staff have great personalities and attitude I loved it and I will be back soon
DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms are dirty, telephone doesn’t work, front desk is useless. Booked a room and the AC sounded like a grinder. Front deck told me to wait until the morning for management because they cannot give me an available room. Unacceptable. Elevator smells like stale cigarette smoke (even though they say non-smoking). Room was not clean. Thin walls. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
Amazing clean hotel. Great location. The best in union city.
There was splatter all over the walls. The bathroom door looked like the nasty hand grim one might find at a low quality gas station. The TV remote had food particles on it. The bathroom had a strong urine smell and yellowing in the corner of the bathroom floor. The card board they leave on the bed to tell you about all of the "clean quality" rooms they offer hade a dirty thumb print on it! Clear evidence that they didn't even vacuum.

Needed too find a safe place to stay for a couple of days due to house fire. Red Cross provided funds to assist. The nightmare started when calling the reservation number. It was a person with a very heavy accent, which made it difficult to communicate. Upon arriving at hotel we were given handicap accessible room which was needed, however night front desk staff was rude and impatient. Bed and pillows very comfortable, bench in walk in show was hanging off of wall and I was afraid it would disconnect from wall. I have MS and get around I a mobile chair.
Hotel, not too bad and was out here because Delta airlines sucks.
The neighborhood...I would come to the hotel and just stay in it.
Now, I had the opportunity to visit some Quality Inns during my lifetime. This Quality inn here in Union City was awesome. The staff was extra friendly and the room service was superb. My room was neat, tidy and so fresh and clean. I will revisit here real soon. If your looking for a clean, fresh environment with great sleeping beds. Do not pass this place up. Do drop in!!!
ALL AROUND AWESOME. VERY QUIET, THE ELEVATOR WORK AND IS CLEAN. ROOM WAS VERY CLEA AND MAINTAINED. BIG FLAT SCREEN TV WITH LOT'S OF CHANNELS. Wi-Fi Worked Flawless.Would Definitely Stay Again.
Stayed there for a few days recently while visiting Atlanta. Very convenient to airport. Quiet, clean and comfortable. No hookers and druggies. Excellent location with plenty of food and shopping options. Literally every fast food restaurant you can think of is within walking distance. Also Kroger, Walmart, Big lots and Dollar tree. Highly recommend and would stay there again. Only negative comment would be the fitness center was not in good shape so don't count on getting a workout. Otherwise excellent value for the price.
The service at this hotel is excellent you have to visit this hotel how Latcha boy Jay at the front desk I’ll take care of all of your hotels need this place rocks
Pros: Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable and clean and the rooms are dark and quiet.
Cons: Rooms smelled off, air coming from unit smelled like cat pee which didn't help, amenities book was sticky, and carpet was damp. Rooms are definitely showing signs of age/wear, but overall in decent working order. "Hot breakfast" is non-existent due to COVID restrictions. Breakfast options were terrible (yogurt containers all had damage/dried out inside, waffle maker didn't fully cook waffles, juice machine was broken). Overall, stay was ok.
Jennifer, the manager, is truly an exceptional person. I left a package at the hotel and she communicated with me continuously and ensured that my package was delivered to me even though there were many obstacles along the way.
Nice hotel, a few food places in walking distance
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It was clean and the breakfast was good. The staffs are friendly and very accommodating.
I enjoy my stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and as well as the pool area. The General Manager Ms. Jennifer Williams was very helpful and courteous when I had trouble with my reservation booked through Choice Hotels.com. When visiting Georgia I will stay at this hotel.
Very enjoyable visit. The staff was friendly and professional. They mad my stay an easy and comfortable one.
Mrs. Jennifer is always there to get me a room every week. Thanks
A basic hotel it's okay nothing's fancy looks clean. A lot of places to eat around here except with the virus you have to have the car to get the food.
THEY ARE NOT SERVING HOT BREAKFAST RIGHT NOW!!! The room was okay, but the ice machine on my floor was broken. I specifically asked if they were serving breakfast like usual and they said yes. I come down in the morning to the front desk lady (dressed in regular clothes) greeting everyone with “GOOD MORNING, BREAKFAST IS REALLY REALLY CONTINENTAL Y’ALL😑 Basically I would’ve gone somewhere else had they told me that they couldn’t serve breakfast. I feel like they misled us to get our money.
The hotel had a VERY strong smell of marijuana throughout the building. Woke up after night #1 of what was supposed to be a 2 night stay to find several cars in the parking lot had their windows smashed in. We were advised upon check-in that the hotel had security at night - guess not. The hotel staff knew about the robberies but didn't say anything to the guests - we found out from another victim. The woman at the front desk tried for hours to reach the manager but she didn't pick up her phone and left the rest of the staff to deal with the problem. We ended up leaving a day early as we didn't feel safe there and are now having to fight to get our money back. So unprofessional. I cannot and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
It was either sleep at the airport on a bench outside in cold weather, or take the airports voucher and go here for the night. After a nice warm shower, I was just thankful for a bed and a pillow to lay down on. Decent breakfast in the morning. Hotel stay and breakfast was all free so I'm not going to complain.
Got in late from the airport, gave us a discounted rate because it was so late. Room was clean, water hot and breakfast was good. Jennifer is absolutely awesome, she didn't treat my daughter and I as strangers, she made us feel like family, she's so friendly, pleasant, funny and all around amazing person. If ever we need to stay around the airport again we are staying here. Thank you.
