We arrived at around 11 in the night. The front desk person was nice and courteous. We needed an extra bed for my sister but the bed provided was the most uncomfortable bed ever. Nobody can sleep on it. The elevator was not functional and we had several bags with us. It was very difficult to move the big bags up and down the stairs. The breakfast is lame like all the other similar quality hotels. The rooms are spacious but the carpets stink. The air conditioner made so much noise, it was like sleeping in a helicopter. The worst part of the trip was talking to this another female at front-desk who looked like the manager but I could be wrong. She was super rude and was speaking as if I am running away with her money. She desperately needs some customer care training. The shuttle driver was very helpful and polite.
Just like every "quality" inn, the quality is nowhere to be found. After waiting on the desk clerk for a very long time, I know training takes time and I don't fault her, I am put in a room that apparently, the only way to it is to walk around the outside of the building to a specific door, then up the stairs to a part of the hotel that the non-working elevator doesn't even service. Just to be crammed in a small, out of the way corner of the hotel with everyone else, no spreading out in the slightest for privacy. The rooms are lacking, and just like every cheap owner, the ac was off so the room was hotter than outside. Been waiting 30 minutes for it to cool down.
I can tell by looking that the sheets have not been changed in some time. There is a foul odor in the hall. The room is dirty, and just not up to par. Never going to stay here again, and I work in the area several times a week.
The beds were comfortable and it was conveniently located near the airport. However, I was very dissatisfied with the room. Large portions of the bathtub were peeling. It continued to come off on your feet while showering. It is July and the AC was off when we checked in late at night. It took an hour to 1.5 hours before the room was cool. The elevator was not working.
I cannot say enough good things about this property. The owner has gone above and beyond for me. When I checked in I was going through a hard time and he made sure my stay was not only comfortable but checked on me daily. I didn't have a car and he made sure I made it to work on time. He went far beyond his duties as a hotel owner. I cannot express how kind AJ his wife and brother are. His staff was phenomenal as well. Between his house keeper Matt who always made sure I had clean sheets, towels, and blankets and the front desk clerk Montana who made sure I felt at home away from home this property deserves 5 stars. Anytime I need to stay in a hotel it will definitely be with these guys. Thank you so much for kindness, great service, and all around experience with this amazing hotel.
Montana Monroe was the most helpful and knowledgeable hotel concierge/front desk worker we've ever encountered. Derrick Smith was also a fantastic driver. Very personable and made our drive so pleasant! Thanks so much for a pleasant stay!!
