Although it's under renovation it still is a good hotel. Good parking availability, but a little too dark. Staff were kind and helpful. There is a shuttle to the airport. Breakfast buffet was pricey considering it was the same food you could get at Denny's which is only a block away. The room was decent. The water was always hot. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean and fresh. The carpet felt old and dirty. The room doors were heavy which is good for security but the "slamming" of surrounding doors was frustrating. The curtains kept the room dark, even on the ground floor. Basic toiletries were available. Keurig in room.

This hotel has updated rooms and the staff was very accommodating. Rooms were clean and the bed was pretty new. Paper thin walls though, so you can hear your neighbors' conversations.

It deserves a second chance.

Staff is friendly and helpful, but during my stay there was some work making the stay below expectations.

Rooms are clean and quiet, but the bathroom is a bit old fashioned (shower curtain? No, thanks!).

I think the rooms will be renewed after the works on common areas are completed.

If the next time I'll stay here, I hope to have the chance to update my review.

This hotel is under construction, and we were not informed when we made our reservation. During our stay the construction crew hit a gas line and we did not have hot water (and later no water) during our entire first day here. Most of the staff we encountered was defensive rather than empathetic. We were eventually moved to another room because apparently water was back, on certain floors. However, this was only suggested after I had inquired about this issue and when it was projected to be resolved SEVERAL times. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone!

From Shuttle Driver to Check out, the entire experience was great! Shuttle drivers were warm and friendly telling us as bout the amenities. A staff member met the shuttle and greeted us telling us about the amenities. Hotel and Room were clean. Checkout a breeze.

They're remodeling. .so there's possibly future hope...for a good stay. The bed is comfortable, but the items you expect to work, the sink and tub drain, don't. The tub drain needs to be screwed in and then doesn't drain afterward. The sink drain won't close to keep hot water in the sink for washing. We won't stay here again. In fact, we need to stay in this area longer than expected but are leaving this place.

I’ll be fair and start by saying that the hotel was under construction when I got here. That said...



The rooms smelled of smoke even though I had a “no smoking room”. It is a holiday inn, so my expectations were low but it didn’t meet my expectations.



Breakfast on the weekend closed at 9am and was a tepid buffet for $16.95. Not worth the money.



All in all, not too pleased with the hotel.

Hotel is under construction. The main lobby is closed, so you need to use the side entrance to a very small temp registration area. A bit out dated. The plumbing when taking a shower sounds like the pipes are struggling, but you might not need soap as it is power washing your body from the Water pressure is quite high. LOL

No room service available during construction.

The restaurant is kind of an excursion to get to as you need to go up to the 3rd floor and then take stairs to come down on the other side of the property.



The bed is comfortable and the rooms are big. Receptionist are very helpful and kind.



Price was high to stay with all of the things going on with the construction, but Expedia did not specify. The hotel, I was told would tell you they are under construction if you reserved through them directly.

Not impressed. They put me in a room backing to the elevators which was impossibility noisy. I asked to be moved so I got another room. Unfortunately, the new room smelled bad (like disinfectants) and wasn't particularly clean. The walls of this place are extremely thin. Every door closing in the hallways and every person taking a shower above my room were very loud. I am not a light sleeper by any means but I slept very bad here. I am not coming back.

Hotel is close to the airport. For the price paid, it's good value. They have a restaurant inside the hotel and a few restaurants nearby. Hallway noise you can hear alot and the bathroom is small but efficient. Shower head has crazy pressure if that's your thing. Didn't check out the fitness center, but they do have the new peloton bikes in. Coffee machine in room for you to use.

Dated hotel. Moreover the system was not working and they let us wait 2 hours before our check in without even offering a drink.

Update after a second stay. The hotel definitely does not worth to be a holiday inn. The room had a bad smell, the laundry not delivered.... do not go

The hotel was quite good. It's different from some of those I remember staying at in the U.A.E.



When approaching the hotel, it looked like it had only two or three floors, but it turns out it had many more. I didn't take photos of the exterior, unfortunately.



I spent three nights while attending a conference. Every things was consistently good. The beds were comfortable. There was a fridge and a coffee maker.



I would definitely recommend staying here if it's close to your event. I intend to do the same myself.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night only. We arrived at 6.30pm, check-in was fast and pleasant. Staff were pleasant.

We were happy with our room which was clean and tidy, quiet, and comfortable.

Bar was nice to relax after long flight. The bar lady was pleasant and efficient at her job.

Check-out at 5am was easy and staff was very nice.

We were happy to be able to use the airport shuttle supplied free by the hotel.

Overall, we liked our stay very much and would stay here again.

Good Part was breakfast. Tasty and heavy enough. The service was great in that area. But the room we stayed, the door lock of bathroom did not work.

Free coffee was the best part :)

A good place to stay if you need a quick access to the SJC airport.

The place is very close to the airport and the room is nice and clean. The front desk is helpful and the lobby is large and relaxing. There is a nice little bar in the lobby too.

Since the breakfast is not included in the price, the fact that the hotel didn't offer a microwave in the room is a little disappointing. They also charge $13 for the parking.

Booked this room for my elderly parents who flew in from NY. Their biggest trip ever. I planned everything for them and thought I could trust the holiday inn to be a good place. Guess what happened to them? My dad stepped in to the shower, turned it on and a ceiling tile and wires came down on him. All holiday inn did was take $50 off the room. My father has high blood pressure and my mother cancer. This is absolutely unacceptable. They just lost my business.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn over a month ago on a work trip. Upon checking in I was told that there would be a parking fee which, until that point in time, I was not aware of. No problem, I can park somewhere else and walk - I am in the military and our regulations don't cover parking fees. I mentioned this to the manager at the front desk and he told me that he would let me park there for free - very kind of him!



However, after checking out my bill was reviewed by a clerk at the office who said that I was charged for parking and would have to cover the fee myself. I called the holiday inn and explained the situation. They have been dragging their heels getting back to me and so far the only resolution has been "the manager doesn't remember it so we're not going to give you your money back."



I do not believe that I should be paying for the manager's forgetfulness.



Aside from this the rooms were clean, but that doesn't mean anything if I'm they're going to steal my money.



EDIT: After leaving a review I got my money back. Thanks Holiday Inn.

Had a bad experience on my way home from San Francisco. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Although we were awoken at 345am by a fire alarm. We went downstairs to the lobby with our frightened baby and kids. The hotel staff did not communicate at all what was going on. The fire department showed up and started looking around. Finally after about 45 min people started going back to their rooms the hotel staff stayed quiet didn't say a thing. I thought that was very unprofessional luckily it was a false alarm. The hotel didn't provide a discount or anything for the inconvenience I did not have good rest that stay. I always try to stay at holiday inn and holiday inn Express because of how clean and professional their staffs are. This staff needs better training upon check-in the bald guy was rude as well definitely won't be coming back to this location next time.

The employees always had a smile, professional, accommodating, and friendly. The hotel and our room were beautiful and clean. The Garden Pasta with Chicken and the Monterey Chicken were delicious. It is conveniently close to the airport and we didn't hear the airport traffic at all. Thank you for a great stay. I look forward to our next visit.
