I was incredibly content with my visit, the food was fantastic, the help excellent, the beds comfortable and the offices above and beyond. The inn stay was exceptionally wonderful and agreeable. The staff was extremely considerate and accommodating, the area was exceptionally helpful for getting around. I will without a doubt remain here again in the event that I will visit this town once more.
after being in the car for 15 hours my family and i decided to take a break and get a room here. you have to pay $13 for parking. and that's per night (just so you know ahead of time) we got to our room on the 7th floor and it really wasn't as clean as they make it sound like it is. there was dog hair all over the carpet. the floors made my kids feet black. there was an already used keirig coffee left in the coffee maker. stains on the towels. the air conditioning sucked and was dripping all over the carpet underneath it. after turning the TV off for the night, i could here a dripping all night long in between the walls next to the bed coming from the bathroom. the room smelled like mold. there was left over dirt and sticky stuff all over the surfaces next to the bed and TV and the desk. the only time i felt clean was after showering and wearing socks before climbing into bed. the bed was comfy and big and the only clean thing in that room.
i would not recommend staying here it's not as advertised and definitely not worth what we spent for a single night. we will be checking into a different hotel.
The worst holiday Inn I have stayed at yet. Got there and we had 2 rooms. Went into one and it was fine the other had not been cleaned yet so they had to move us to another floor. Then shortly after checking in the cops showed up for something. They were out front for awhile. kids went to the pool it wasn't heated as stated. Moved the bed and there was toe nail clippings and pistachio shells left. So gross!! The ice machine was broken and clearly has not worked in awhile by the looks of it. Resturant closed so no breakfast not even bagged.
Save yourself the money.
Clean rooms. I stayed over a weekend here in Holiday Inn. Place was calm and peaceful. There is good place to sit and chill outside the room if we plan to hangout and chat for sometime.
We called the business directors to make arrangements for our staff to stay there while working in the area. The original staff was great to work with and held up their end of the bargain. New management came in and would no longer honor our agreement. They turned our employees away as they were checking in with nowhere to stay while working in the area. Would do nothing to help them at all. Reported it to IHG and they just went along with what the new management said. Very very poor business and we will never ever have our group stay there again.

For such a well to do place, I'd expect at least a continental breakfast. Concierge service, something extra that sets the hotel apart from the cheaper hotels. The rates are competitive but yet it seems like something's missing from my experience. I just feel like I'm supposed to receive more out of my stay there. Otherwise the rooms are very clean, comfortable and updated so no orange or pea green bedspreads. The wheelchair accessible rooms are also nice enough with huge beds. Thanks though for the excellent customer service, that I do appreciate.

Nice hotel. Although, the pool gym and restaurant was closed. I understand it is because of covid so I'm not knocking them for it. What I am knocking them on it the bizarre room layout. I had the executive king room and it was laid out so strangely. The microwave was on the desk even though there was a wet bar with plenty of room for the microwave. The refrigerator is under the tv even though there is a cabinet in the wet bar for it. The bathroom door is 25 inches wide which means if you are broad shouldered or a large person, you aren't getting in the bathroom. The closet is in the bathroom. The bathroom is large and there's plenty of room to put a regular size door on another wall. There's a lounge at the end of the bed but a completely uncomfortable corner piece for what looks like a sectional couch. The room is so large it just doesn't make any sense. There was no hot water whatsoever and the toilet would consistently not flush. The bed was super comfortable so I guess there's that. Again, nice hotel but the rooms need to be re-evaluated.
It was a great stay no breakfast... That would of made it the best COVID-19 we get. Wear a mask and get vaccinated
This hotel is one of my favorites! Not only because it is inexpensive, but also because the ambiance is really soothing! They still have a fantastic crew! This hotel comes highly recommended by me to everyone looking to relax!
The interior furniture was so elegant and high-class. We didn't regret our decision of staying at your place, guys! Until next time! Strongly recommended!
Staff is very accommodating. Parking is $13 per night. Dog fee is $25 per night. Tons of renovations being done but pool, bar, restaurant are not available.
This place was so beautiful, as I stepped in I was amazed at how clean this place is. The rooms are so neat and organized. Showers too. Theirs a few restaurants nearby. I will surely come to this Holiday Inn again.
This hotel offered an outstanding three-day stay for me. They slept in a well-designed, spacious bunk bed. Customers who take a trip would have a nice experience. It had been a fantastic evening.
My friend and I stayed at this hotel as part of our vacation and were really impressed. The room was enormous, with a large, luxurious bed in the middle. In the bathroom, there is a bathtub. This is a fantastic meal. It is strongly urged!
I have to say all of the employees at this holiday Inn were all so very nice and explained all of the current ongoing renovations. I admit that they are looking really nice and upscale. The bar area was reconstructed nicely along with the main lobby and conference areas. The rooms were also renovated (mine was mainly the bathroom) very nicely done. The main room seemed to have new paint, light fixtures and other updated amenities. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to get a great nice sleep. I would stay at this San Jose Holliday Inn again when I come through town.
This hotel has made our stay unforgettable. Nice and generous support. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with plenty of options to pick from, the perfect start to the day! This hotel is highly recommended!
Had a great time and the hotel was perfect. This place has everything you need for leisure and business. The service, cleanliness, amenities, and location are top notch. Within walking distance of train station and restaurants.
Great location. Close to airport, shopping malls, restaurants. Gives you that stylish hotel retreat experience. Good hotel concierge.
Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and convenient parking.
Very friendly restaurant staff and well maintained rooms.
What a nice hotel it was! I was fascinated and delighted with this five-star hotel that I went with during my two days' leave. All of their furniture and amenities were classy and elegant. I felt like I was a one-day billionaire living in a place full of happiness and calmness. The valet that was meant for me happened to be so loyal and humorous. Also, the housekeeper was showing the curved on their lips even if they had a busy day. Because of my satisfaction and contentment, I would book in their hotel again sooner. Thanks!
Awesome Staff.. Very Helpful and Really Nice 👌 Clean Room's. House keeping doing Great 👍 Work.. "Beds " are just perfect 👌.. Very relaxing peaceful area..Thanks
Went down to Los Angeles for the World Series. This hotel was 1.5 miles walking to the Stadium. Felt very safe walking. Wonderful not to have to deal with parking! Could also walk to all the music venues and to Chinatown. Wonderful. Will not stay anywhere else when I go downtown!
This stunning hotel and exemplary service was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we're greeted with a warm cup of tea, a small bouquet of flowers with our room key till we had to leave the following day we could not speak any higher of the surroundings and staff. The attention to detail was immaculate!
My family and I spent two nights at this beautiful hotel over a break. We had two gorgeous rooms overlooking the outdoor pool. The hotel is amazing for they have complete room facilities and the scent inside was very relaxing and comfortable. For me, it was special rooms with superb bathrooms' design. They also have great service, and good food. Must visit! For sure you'll love it!
I stayed at this hotel, twice and at both times, I received great customer service! The concierge staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. Also, the hotel is located in a very convenient area closed to the Airport and surrounded by other hotels some shops and a small Mall are nearby. The rooms are of sufficient size and well cleaned. I strongly recommend staying here!
Hotel reopened just over a week ago so there's some public space renovations happening. No issue with me given the current times. Hotel front desk staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. My ADA room was spacious compared to other hotels. Enough room to accommodate a scooter with no issues turning around without bumping into the walls or furniture. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. I liked how I was given a bag with the necessary items needed for coffee, shampoo and conditioner. Not have to worry about others touching or how long it sat there. I'm looking forward for a future visit to see the lobby bar and pool area, although closed, it looks very cool and inviting.
The place is like a paradise. They welcome you like a family and make sure to help if you need anything. They offered free pick up from and to the place where you wanted. The breakfast is very delicious. The next day they provided me with a lunch meal when I asked. A delicious homemade meal prepared by the professional chef. The house is lovely and the rooms are very nice and comfortable.
This is the hotel in which a couple had police called on them for a simple noise complaint in which they had ALREADY turned it down resulting in them being beat purple. Dont book here.
No microwave room service knocked three times after we told them we are good and the worst thing was both ice machines were out of order😜
Although it's under renovation it still is a good hotel. Good parking availability, but a little too dark. Staff were kind and helpful. There is a shuttle to the airport. Breakfast buffet was pricey considering it was the same food you could get at Denny's which is only a block away. The room was decent. The water was always hot. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean and fresh. The carpet felt old and dirty. The room doors were heavy which is good for security but the "slamming" of surrounding doors was frustrating. The curtains kept the room dark, even on the ground floor. Basic toiletries were available. Keurig in room.
This hotel has updated rooms and the staff was very accommodating. Rooms were clean and the bed was pretty new. Paper thin walls though, so you can hear your neighbors' conversations.
It deserves a second chance.
Staff is friendly and helpful, but during my stay there was some work making the stay below expectations.
Rooms are clean and quiet, but the bathroom is a bit old fashioned (shower curtain? No, thanks!).
I think the rooms will be renewed after the works on common areas are completed.
If the next time I'll stay here, I hope to have the chance to update my review.
This hotel is under construction, and we were not informed when we made our reservation. During our stay the construction crew hit a gas line and we did not have hot water (and later no water) during our entire first day here. Most of the staff we encountered was defensive rather than empathetic. We were eventually moved to another room because apparently water was back, on certain floors. However, this was only suggested after I had inquired about this issue and when it was projected to be resolved SEVERAL times. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone!
From Shuttle Driver to Check out, the entire experience was great! Shuttle drivers were warm and friendly telling us as bout the amenities. A staff member met the shuttle and greeted us telling us about the amenities. Hotel and Room were clean. Checkout a breeze.
They're remodeling. .so there's possibly future hope...for a good stay. The bed is comfortable, but the items you expect to work, the sink and tub drain, don't. The tub drain needs to be screwed in and then doesn't drain afterward. The sink drain won't close to keep hot water in the sink for washing. We won't stay here again. In fact, we need to stay in this area longer than expected but are leaving this place.
I’ll be fair and start by saying that the hotel was under construction when I got here. That said...
The rooms smelled of smoke even though I had a “no smoking room”. It is a holiday inn, so my expectations were low but it didn’t meet my expectations.
Breakfast on the weekend closed at 9am and was a tepid buffet for $16.95. Not worth the money.
All in all, not too pleased with the hotel.
Hotel is under construction. The main lobby is closed, so you need to use the side entrance to a very small temp registration area. A bit out dated. The plumbing when taking a shower sounds like the pipes are struggling, but you might not need soap as it is power washing your body from the Water pressure is quite high. LOL
No room service available during construction.
The restaurant is kind of an excursion to get to as you need to go up to the 3rd floor and then take stairs to come down on the other side of the property.
The bed is comfortable and the rooms are big. Receptionist are very helpful and kind.
Price was high to stay with all of the things going on with the construction, but Expedia did not specify. The hotel, I was told would tell you they are under construction if you reserved through them directly.
Not impressed. They put me in a room backing to the elevators which was impossibility noisy. I asked to be moved so I got another room. Unfortunately, the new room smelled bad (like disinfectants) and wasn't particularly clean. The walls of this place are extremely thin. Every door closing in the hallways and every person taking a shower above my room were very loud. I am not a light sleeper by any means but I slept very bad here. I am not coming back.
Hotel is close to the airport. For the price paid, it's good value. They have a restaurant inside the hotel and a few restaurants nearby. Hallway noise you can hear alot and the bathroom is small but efficient. Shower head has crazy pressure if that's your thing. Didn't check out the fitness center, but they do have the new peloton bikes in. Coffee machine in room for you to use.
Dated hotel. Moreover the system was not working and they let us wait 2 hours before our check in without even offering a drink.
Update after a second stay. The hotel definitely does not worth to be a holiday inn. The room had a bad smell, the laundry not delivered.... do not go
The hotel was quite good. It's different from some of those I remember staying at in the U.A.E.
When approaching the hotel, it looked like it had only two or three floors, but it turns out it had many more. I didn't take photos of the exterior, unfortunately.
I spent three nights while attending a conference. Every things was consistently good. The beds were comfortable. There was a fridge and a coffee maker.
I would definitely recommend staying here if it's close to your event. I intend to do the same myself.
My wife and I stayed for 1 night only. We arrived at 6.30pm, check-in was fast and pleasant. Staff were pleasant.
We were happy with our room which was clean and tidy, quiet, and comfortable.
Bar was nice to relax after long flight. The bar lady was pleasant and efficient at her job.
Check-out at 5am was easy and staff was very nice.
We were happy to be able to use the airport shuttle supplied free by the hotel.
Overall, we liked our stay very much and would stay here again.
Good Part was breakfast. Tasty and heavy enough. The service was great in that area. But the room we stayed, the door lock of bathroom did not work.
Free coffee was the best part :)
A good place to stay if you need a quick access to the SJC airport.
The place is very close to the airport and the room is nice and clean. The front desk is helpful and the lobby is large and relaxing. There is a nice little bar in the lobby too.
Since the breakfast is not included in the price, the fact that the hotel didn't offer a microwave in the room is a little disappointing. They also charge $13 for the parking.
Booked this room for my elderly parents who flew in from NY. Their biggest trip ever. I planned everything for them and thought I could trust the holiday inn to be a good place. Guess what happened to them? My dad stepped in to the shower, turned it on and a ceiling tile and wires came down on him. All holiday inn did was take $50 off the room. My father has high blood pressure and my mother cancer. This is absolutely unacceptable. They just lost my business.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn over a month ago on a work trip. Upon checking in I was told that there would be a parking fee which, until that point in time, I was not aware of. No problem, I can park somewhere else and walk - I am in the military and our regulations don't cover parking fees. I mentioned this to the manager at the front desk and he told me that he would let me park there for free - very kind of him!
However, after checking out my bill was reviewed by a clerk at the office who said that I was charged for parking and would have to cover the fee myself. I called the holiday inn and explained the situation. They have been dragging their heels getting back to me and so far the only resolution has been "the manager doesn't remember it so we're not going to give you your money back."
I do not believe that I should be paying for the manager's forgetfulness.
Aside from this the rooms were clean, but that doesn't mean anything if I'm they're going to steal my money.
EDIT: After leaving a review I got my money back. Thanks Holiday Inn.
Had a bad experience on my way home from San Francisco. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Although we were awoken at 345am by a fire alarm. We went downstairs to the lobby with our frightened baby and kids. The hotel staff did not communicate at all what was going on. The fire department showed up and started looking around. Finally after about 45 min people started going back to their rooms the hotel staff stayed quiet didn't say a thing. I thought that was very unprofessional luckily it was a false alarm. The hotel didn't provide a discount or anything for the inconvenience I did not have good rest that stay. I always try to stay at holiday inn and holiday inn Express because of how clean and professional their staffs are. This staff needs better training upon check-in the bald guy was rude as well definitely won't be coming back to this location next time.
The employees always had a smile, professional, accommodating, and friendly. The hotel and our room were beautiful and clean. The Garden Pasta with Chicken and the Monterey Chicken were delicious. It is conveniently close to the airport and we didn't hear the airport traffic at all. Thank you for a great stay. I look forward to our next visit.
