We booked a room for one night and 10 days of parking. The hotel front desk originally got my name wrong when I called to book a room so when I arrived it took an hour before we realized why it wasn’t showing I had a reservation even if I had the confirmation code. The short nights sleep was sub par the bed was very squeaky with the plastic headboards and the airport shuttle we had to sit on each other’s laps and because they put too many bodies in the shuttle even though they pre-reserve the shuttle the day prior. Normally I can be ok with this in a foreign country or when you drive just a few min. But 20 min on a freeway is no good. On our return to pick up car after ten days we are currently STILL waiting 1 hr and 35 minutes for a shuttle after calling three different times and each time getting he is 15 min away, oh it’s traffic. This is beyond ridiculous as we have watched countless shuttles come and go several times. Can’t give this business enough MINUS STARS. Stay away if you want to be getting on the road after a long day of travel you will wait and wait and wait.
Good place to park and fly from Detroit airport. Complementry shuttle device airport. Courteous staff.
Literally allowing guess to drink beer from the back of their pick up trucks and play bean bag toss like they are tailgating at game at 10:15 pm at night. Unbelievable you would think your own a college campus. Kids are running around knocking on doors and running back into their rooms.
Always an excellent experience when I stay here. Rooms are clean, staff is pleasant and friendly. Beds not the most comfortable, but grateful to have the space after a long day!
Room was just okay, wallpaper is peeling off the walls in some spots and showing wear and tear.
The front desk person was the rudest I've encountered in the chain. My brother booked the stay, as he did at four other hotels we stayed at on this trip. At every other location we were able to switch into my name, give my Hilton Honors number and I got the same rate and credit for my stay...
...not at this location. The front desk person, with a smug tone and look on her face, said that was against the rules. I advised her every other Hilton family hotel we stayed at was able to do it.
Once again, the smug look and tone...the rules.
If you like your hotel stays smug free...don't book at this location...and the rooms are just so so...
