My go-to when in Raleigh. Professional, but laid back, at the end of a quiet drive through a business park. Rocking chairs on the veranda. Pool in the courtyard. Close to the airport.

A wonderful experience at this DoubleTree by Hilton location that was not only convenient for me to get to the airport the next morning, but also provided a warm cookie when I arrived that afternoon. The bar and restaurant at this location was also popular and had great food and service, my room was amazing and exceeded my expectations, not to mention that this location has a porch with rocking chairs.

Attended a conference this past weekend. The entire staff was so nice! Everyone was friendly. The rooms were clean. The food was terrific! The coffee was plentiful! Thanks for making it a great stay!

10! Charlie at the front desk really made my day. I was having a horrible day and was not so nice to her but I apologized and not only did she forgive me but she made me a goodies bag and blessed me with a amazing room! She made my day better with her kindness, professionalism and understanding of how life can be at times. I pray with all my heart God will bless her times 10 folds for what she did for me.

Stayed here for a short weekend stay. The location is great and close to major highways. The hotel is in great condition despite it being an older property. The rooms could use some upgrades, and better bedding. The staff in the evening was amazing and ensured to greet me every time they noticed me coming or going.

This is an older hotel but well maintained. Very nice outdoor pool area and a great fitness center. Rooms are quiet, but the bathroom is small. Staff is helpful and pleasant. My go-to hotel when in Durham.

Lg hotel!! The inside is so inviting! The rooms furniture is dated and the room carpet is old. I expected more inside the room by the looks of the interior hotel common areas. The staff is friendly and helpful with unloading too!

The room was nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is I had to pay $15 for breakfast. If I'm already paying 200+ for my room, I think breakfast should be factored in and complimentary to the stay. It was an inconvenience. We will be finding hotels with free breakfast from now on.

As a Gold member you will enjoy the free breakfast coupons for both of us and free drinks at the bar for both of us ($15 each to spend), not including tips. Very nice and big place. The swimming pool.is not operating during the week, just weekend. No one swimming during the week when I was there. Over all I am happy, just the pillows that were thinner, but u can ask more to make them thicker. Thanks to Tom and Charlie to make me feel better with the cold water and extra pillows. It helps me sleep better.

We stayed one night as a stop over to visit family in the area. We checked in around 9 pm. The employee at the check in desk was so cheerful and welcoming. The lobby was packed with people enjoying food at one of the tables or kids watching the TVs. The weekend we stayed always had a baseball tournament so we weren’t surprised by the number of kids around. The room was clean. It didn’t seem outdated to me. There was an instance where the power surged at one point, but everything came back on after a second. My only complaint is that the AC didn’t seem to work in our room right. It was set at 65, but the thermostat said our room was at 70 degrees. It felt much warmer, not enough to make a big deal about for one night, but enough to disrupt our sleep.

Everything, was clean and had been sanitized which I have grown used to from always staying at Hilton hotels. When checking in, granted it was after 8:30pm, my husband and I were exhausted, we had not stayed at this hotel before so we did not know how to get to the elevator.
We were using a digital key and initially were going to head straight to the room but after trying to find the elevator with bags in tow we had to wait several minutes for a hotel clerk to come to the front desk and give us directions.
I did love the layout of the room, again everything was very clean as stated previously. I am used to having a microwave in my hotel room in this day and time, so that was a bit inconvenient, however because of my own assumption I may have missed that detail when booking. I am a Hilton Honors reward member, and very loyal to Hilton Hotels. Only when necessary do I request a late checkout, and have always been accommodated with at least a minimum of an hour. However, after having to wait for quite sometime for someone to pick up the phone morning of checkout to request additional time, I was met with a very matter of fact clerk who informed me that I would only be given an additional 30mins. Grateful, for any extra time, I was disappointed because I did not have a good night's sleep and had been and still was at the time of calling in extreme pain. It would have been nice to have had the opportunity to explain this. I do realize at certain points of time, everyone cannot be accommodated, so I will overlook this.

I had a nice quiet stay here. I love the balconies but the rooms are a bit out dated. I didn’t like my tv on the side of my bed instead of in front of it. The bathrooms in the rooms were very little. God don’t get me started on that shuttle driver. Other than that everything was cool. I wasn’t too mad about having to be there. I wish I had stayed longer

Standard double tree. With a bit better breakfast as standard, all looks fresh and the fruits have been great.
Next to the friendly lady at breakfast and the helpful stuff at reception you get of sure the famous warm 🍪.

I was sent to the hotel by an airline when I was stranded.,
The airline made a mess of it but Wayne at the front desk and the lady at the bar did everything they could to help me! Great people, wish I could have met them under better circumstances... but you can trust them to help you!

This place is well known for its hospitality and good work in the facility. I loved having my little one with us at this location. They loved his little glasses and his positive attitude. Guests can feel the care taken on the property. The only place I would say is lacking is the quality of the food itself at breakfast. The employees are fantastic, but the food quality for the cost is high. The rooms are clean, the staff is accommodating to any requests, and the location is excellent. We will be back on our next trip to the Raleigh-Durham area.

Excellent place to stay when flying in or out. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very spacious. The lounge was open and they served food as well so we didn't need to go anywhere to eat. Also, they shuttled us to the airport in the morning so it took the tension out of getting to the airport. Also Alvin, the shuttle bus driver, was probably the most fun and friendly shuttle bus driver i have ever had.

Started off bad. When I first arrived there were no handicapped spots available near the front, so I had to park on the side. Trying to get to the front, I find out that the sidewalk doesn't go all the way and there were no on/off ramps near the end, so I had to go ALL THE WAY back where I came. I'm frustrated and ready to leave a not so good review. Then I enter and I'm greeted by the warmest, friendliest person I've met in awhile. Mrs. Charlie Thompson was so accommodating and helpful. She is the main reason for the 4 stars! The hallways are tight but the rooms are spacious. Make the sidewalks more wheelchair friendly and I would recommend and revisit.

Although we have stayed at other Double tree hotels. It was our first time staying at this location. The exterior of the hotel was very clean and inviting. Very convenient location between Durham and Raleigh. The airport is conveniently located less than 15 minutes away. The check in process was quick and seamless. The host he was professional and friendly. That's kinda rare these days in the times we are in.
The interior of the hotel was very inviting, modern, sleek, and clean.
Although there appeared to be a wedding reception going on it wasn't bad.
The room itself it was very clean, sanitized. However I wasn't a huge fan of the carpet. But it wasn't a complete deal breaker. The bed slept great. When and if we travel to the area again I think we would consider staying at this location again.

We loved our one night stay at the Doubletree! We requested for early check-in and they texted me once it was available. Upon check-in, my husband and I both got warm chocolate chip cookies and we had a king size bed which was nice. The restaurant was good for dinner and we also went for the breakfast the next morning. We used our $15 food and beverage credit. The breakfast buffet was really good. Lots of warm options. Would’ve loved to have a waffle maker but lots of other warm options. We would definitely stay here again. Clean, comfortable and lots of amenities to stay at the hotel.

Nice property set back which has its pluses and minuses, you can slightly hear the expressway from the parking lot but otherwise is a quiet and peaceful setting. The down side to that is your not really able to walk to restaurants or shopping if needed. The property has a restaurant, bar, and gym so you can just hang out there. The food was decent. But is was a bit like being on an island.
The pool area and outdoor covered seating areas added to the resort feel. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed my stay but if I were to nit pick I would recommend more constant cleaning. It seemed the some of the common areas didn't get vacuumed often enough.

Great experience here! We went because they were hosting the Triangle Fountain Pen Show. At check-in they gave us warm, delicious cookies, chocolate chip walnut! The room was excellent, not a speck of dirt anywhere. Breakfast in the restaurant was a bit of a disappointment for my Mom because the eggs were cold, but my oatmeal was hot and very good, as was the Danish I had. However, lunch was great! The Reuben was wonderful, and the pizzas are big enough to share. My brother said the quesadilla was really good as well. One of the best hotels I've stayed in for a while!
Oh, the Triangle Fountain Pen Show was amazing! Never been before this time, and only went because my brother insisted. Now I guess I'm hooked on fountain pens 😄

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The room was clean, nice and well kept. The service was excellent and the attendants, bartenders and staff were nice. We didn't eat at the attached restaurant but the bar was well managed.

Really nice hotel, only thing is our room seemed kinda old. Furniture was scuffed up, old tv(not a smart TV so could not log into Netflix) chipped tile in the bathroom. But very clean.
Front desk was very nice as well.
We had a good stay.

My experience was a breath of fresh air through a mask, from check-in to departure. The staff was genuinely friendly, informative and stocked with killer, warm chocolate chip cookies that I didn't mind cheating for. They even had little "extras" available in case you forgot to bring a toiletry or two as I did. The grounds were beautiful and thankfully so, since that is where my friends and I spent most of our time relaxing outdoors with a view of the pool (which was closed during our stay), catching up, and rocking away on the rocking chair deck. Our first night there, we ordered food from the lounge/restaurant which was amazingly run by a one-woman-show and she was so awesome, you would never know she didn't have any help; the food was also surprisingly good. I felt safe, my room was very clean/roomy, and I slept thoroughly well both nights of my stay; thanks to the incredibly soft bed in my room, and the peace and quiet. I left feeling refreshed and looking forward to another visit should I ever find myself in Durham again. In these times, that is all I can ask for.

We had a very pleasant stay here! This was our first time at a Double Tree and had heard about their chocolate cookies, but we did not receive one. Otherwise, the staff is very nice and the hotel itself is very pretty. It gives a country estate vibe, with the massive fireplace and wood ceiling accents. We also enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and view of the pool from our balcony. The only improvement would be around making the menu for the restaurant more accessible (either posted in the lobby or online). Thanks for a great stay and we look forward to returning!

I loved the location of this hotel. I was greeted by very friendly front desk team and warm chocolate cookies! We got there early on a Friday evening, and the lounge was open which had a great menu of appetizers, and the bartender/cook was super friendly and efficient. The outside areas in the back of the hotel by the pool were relaxing. The customer service was excellent, very accommodating and I felt like they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. My room and my two other family member's rooms were clean and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfy during covid. There are places to eat and shop nearby so that made it extra convenient. I will definitely be back!

The property is very cozy with great touches like white rocking chairs, porch swings, a large fireplace in the lobby, and a pool area with a pool house, lounge chairs and lots of greenery. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, the water is hot and the pressure is standard. It could use some updates (as most everyone said), the standard pillows in the room a bit a bit hard, the walls are quite thin and, in case it matters to someone, there's a mirror at the foot of the bed, which can be a no-no in some cultures. Property is a solid 4-to-4.5.
Everyone at the property has been incredibly chill and accommodating of my requests, especially Darnell. He has that great mix of easygoing, warm professionalism that really made me feel welcome and valued, bringing the charm of the property full circle, and putting the final star in my 5-star rating.

Warm cookies were the best! It was pouring when we came in because we had just come from my son's baseball tournament and we were soaked. When the man at the front desk handed us the warm cookies, it was the best! Only there for one night but we'll be sure to stay here again when in the area.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place is simply amazing. The hotel is clearly an older property that doesn't fit the generic business class model. It should serve as an example on how to maintain a classic venue. It has balconies overlooking a well maintained courtyard, tons of covered outdoor spaces, an outstanding restaurant that's not just an afterthought, a nice bar, and tons of meeting space. Every member of the staff was polite, courteous, and seemed to genuinely care about my stay / experience. The front desk staff was beyond phenomenal, and the management folks were even better! I had a last-minute meeting space need and they actually arranged for me to use a room that had been vacated early. Without question, this is the only place I'll be staying on future trips to Raleigh.,

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The older gentleman at the front desk during check in was very helpful and polite. The young man working as I was checking out at 5am was rude. I arrived at the airport 5 minutes before departure as instructed and the shuttle was already full. The shuttle driver told me and another guest that the front desk would call us a cab. The front desk stated that the cost would be our responsibility and appeared to be incredibly irritated by the task overall. He attempted to call 2 different cab neither of which would arrive in time. All in all I would stay here again but make sure I was there for the shuttle at least 15 minutes in advance if not more. The shuttle driver was pleasant. The steak sandwich was griisly, the fries were good, the beer was ice cold, and the cookies alone are worth the stay.

The service was by far the best I have had! The fact that the hotel is so large and so beautiful when you walk in, I cannot believe I got the rate we did. I loved the pool and outdoor seating as well as the location. This hotel is great for families as well as a weekend getaway. I hope to stay again.

My experience here was very pleasant. When you check in you get warm chocolate chip cookies so of course that was nice. The hotel was clean. Our room was pretty standard. Nice hotel in need of some technological upgrades. There was only one USB charging port, in the alarm clock. The TV remote in my room also did not work. They replaced it. Staff was friendly and courteous. Pool area looked nice, although we did not use it. Breakfast buffet was good, but lacked biscuits and gravy!(I thought that would be standard issue in any southern hotel)

Have been staying at this hotel quite alot over the years and have always had a good experience. This was one of the first hotels to offer any kind of food and drink to go in the midst of the pandemics early days. The bar staff here is amazing and the food is good too. This is my go to hotel whenever I am working in the triangle.

100% recommend. Helpful and very friendly staff, rooms are good enough, breakfast is better than most other hotels. The hotel manager, front desk manager and other reception staff members took good care of all the guests. If you are planning to host a big group of people, this is your hotel to stay !
