My go-to when in Raleigh. Professional, but laid back, at the end of a quiet drive through a business park. Rocking chairs on the veranda. Pool in the courtyard. Close to the airport.

A wonderful experience at this DoubleTree by Hilton location that was not only convenient for me to get to the airport the next morning, but also provided a warm cookie when I arrived that afternoon. The bar and restaurant at this location was also popular and had great food and service, my room was amazing and exceeded my expectations, not to mention that this location has a porch with rocking chairs.

Went to this hotel a few times for company events. Nice conference rooms. Location is convenient if you're coming off the highway.

Great location! The front lobby was very nice and welcoming. The front desk was wonderful and very knowledgeable when it came to the city! There was nothing really fancy about the room but it had a comfortable bed!

Stayed here for a short weekend stay. The location is great and close to major highways. The hotel is in great condition despite it being an older property. The rooms could use some upgrades, and better bedding. The staff in the evening was amazing and ensured to greet me every time they noticed me coming or going.

This is an older hotel but well maintained. Very nice outdoor pool area and a great fitness center. Rooms are quiet, but the bathroom is small. Staff is helpful and pleasant. My go-to hotel when in Durham.

The room was nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is I had to pay $15 for breakfast. If I'm already paying 200+ for my room, I think breakfast should be factored in and complimentary to the stay. It was an inconvenience. We will be finding hotels with free breakfast from now on.

Excellent place to stay when flying in or out. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very spacious. The lounge was open and they served food as well so we didn't need to go anywhere to eat. Also, they shuttled us to the airport in the morning so it took the tension out of getting to the airport. Also Alvin, the shuttle bus driver, was probably the most fun and friendly shuttle bus driver i have ever had.

This hotel is definitely an amazing place to stay. The staff went above and beyond from the time we checked in until we checked out. We arrived an hour and a half early and the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She has a great sense of humor and checked us in early into our and explained everything about the hotel and what amenities were provided. Since we checked in on Thanksgiving day and were tired we at the restaurant and the food was amazing along with the waiter. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I will definitely be booking another stay real soon.

Although we have stayed at other Double tree hotels. It was our first time staying at this location. The exterior of the hotel was very clean and inviting. Very convenient location between Durham and Raleigh. The airport is conveniently located less than 15 minutes away. The check in process was quick and seamless. The host he was professional and friendly. That's kinda rare these days in the times we are in.

The interior of the hotel was very inviting, modern, sleek, and clean.

Although there appeared to be a wedding reception going on it wasn't bad.

The room itself it was very clean, sanitized. However I wasn't a huge fan of the carpet. But it wasn't a complete deal breaker. The bed slept great. When and if we travel to the area again I think we would consider staying at this location again.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding over a long weekend. Staff was friendly and made us feel right at home, rooms were clean and cozy, and the patio out back was a perfect spot to get some quiet in between wedding festivities.

Extra shout-out to the breakfast buffet staff who made absolutely sure that I had my decaf fix and did it with a smile.

Great location for attending a football game in chapel hill. Love that you can park close to your room to load and unload and parking lot is very well lit so we felt very safe. Rooms are clean and the bedding is so comfy. Front desk staff at check in and out was very personable and friendly and of course the chocolate chip cookies were delish. We had the buffet breakfast $18 on a Sunday. Might sound pricey but the convenience, variety and friendly staff was well worth it. Sure beat stopping somewhere else waiting in line waiting for food and delaying departure for travel by at least an hour. The Buffett had a large variety of options and quality was great. We will return and I highly recommend

Great experience here! We went because they were hosting the Triangle Fountain Pen Show. At check-in they gave us warm, delicious cookies, chocolate chip walnut! The room was excellent, not a speck of dirt anywhere. Breakfast in the restaurant was a bit of a disappointment for my Mom because the eggs were cold, but my oatmeal was hot and very good, as was the Danish I had. However, lunch was great! The Reuben was wonderful, and the pizzas are big enough to share. My brother said the quesadilla was really good as well. One of the best hotels I've stayed in for a while!

Oh, the Triangle Fountain Pen Show was amazing! Never been before this time, and only went because my brother insisted. Now I guess I'm hooked on fountain pens πŸ˜„

Charlie and Brandon were AMAZING! I would come back just because of them. Super professional, and very welcoming. I'm sure they get lots of phone calls, but Charlie remembered me, and we had a good chuckle about it. Brandon helped me with a question I had. I can't say enough about how they positively impacted my visit.

Update 5/9: Cynthia was AMAZING!!! She helped me with my room, and was really pleasant. I've never been at a place that has so many team members that are so good at what they do. Every time I get the chance, I make the choice to come back to this hotel...all because of the people.

The hotel is a bit older, but it's well kept. I had a wonderful view from my room. Comfortable bed, and great features in the room. Looking forward to my next visit.

There is a nice bar area, and the menu looked very nice... lots of options.

We had a very pleasant stay here! This was our first time at a Double Tree and had heard about their chocolate cookies, but we did not receive one. Otherwise, the staff is very nice and the hotel itself is very pretty. It gives a country estate vibe, with the massive fireplace and wood ceiling accents. We also enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and view of the pool from our balcony. The only improvement would be around making the menu for the restaurant more accessible (either posted in the lobby or online). Thanks for a great stay and we look forward to returning!

The property is very cozy with great touches like white rocking chairs, porch swings, a large fireplace in the lobby, and a pool area with a pool house, lounge chairs and lots of greenery. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, the water is hot and the pressure is standard. It could use some updates (as most everyone said), the standard pillows in the room a bit a bit hard, the walls are quite thin and, in case it matters to someone, there's a mirror at the foot of the bed, which can be a no-no in some cultures. Property is a solid 4-to-4.5.

Everyone at the property has been incredibly chill and accommodating of my requests, especially Darnell. He has that great mix of easygoing, warm professionalism that really made me feel welcome and valued, bringing the charm of the property full circle, and putting the final star in my 5-star rating.

This hotel is about 10 minutes from the Airport. There is another hotel across the street, but this one is surrounded by trees so you wouldn't even know it was there. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The cookies were delicious. The room and area were nice and quiet. The bathrooms have large bottle of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. I tried the lotion, and it a slight herbal scent, which I found to be pleasant and a nice touch so that it can be universally used. Just note that it IS scented if anybody in your party is allergic to any scents or sensitive to smell.

I also appreciate that there are 4 pillows on the bed as I like to make a nest of pillows when I sleep.

Hotel itself was difficult to get to. GPS was taking us to the back of the hotel and this was not displayed on the property. Several driveways around the hotel were blocked off. Pool area was nice and water was perfect. Pool did close on the earlier side.

Lobby was very nice and welcoming. Rooms were somewhat outdated, however bed was amazing! Water pressure felt great!

Warm cookies were the best! It was pouring when we came in because we had just come from my son's baseball tournament and we were soaked. When the man at the front desk handed us the warm cookies, it was the best! Only there for one night but we'll be sure to stay here again when in the area.

We stayed for 2 nights in mid-June. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly. Gotta love the cookies! There is a bar/restaurant on-site. We did not eat but had a drink at the bar and the bartender was personable. There is a nice courtyard with an outdoor pool and sun lounging area. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby and the location is convenient to the mall and airport. I would stay here again if in the area.

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The older gentleman at the front desk during check in was very helpful and polite. The young man working as I was checking out at 5am was rude. I arrived at the airport 5 minutes before departure as instructed and the shuttle was already full. The shuttle driver told me and another guest that the front desk would call us a cab. The front desk stated that the cost would be our responsibility and appeared to be incredibly irritated by the task overall. He attempted to call 2 different cab neither of which would arrive in time. All in all I would stay here again but make sure I was there for the shuttle at least 15 minutes in advance if not more. The shuttle driver was pleasant. The steak sandwich was griisly, the fries were good, the beer was ice cold, and the cookies alone are worth the stay.

The service was by far the best I have had! The fact that the hotel is so large and so beautiful when you walk in, I cannot believe I got the rate we did. I loved the pool and outdoor seating as well as the location. This hotel is great for families as well as a weekend getaway. I hope to stay again.

My experience here was very pleasant. When you check in you get warm chocolate chip cookies so of course that was nice. The hotel was clean. Our room was pretty standard. It was clean.Breakfast was good. It costed about $12.00. The staff was nice as well.My only complaint is that there was no microwave in my room.

Nice hotel in need of some technological upgrades. There was only one USB charging port, in the alarm clock. The TV remote in my room also did not work. They replaced it. Staff was friendly and courteous. Pool area looked nice, although we did not use it. Breakfast buffet was good, but lacked biscuits and gravy!(I thought that would be standard issue in any southern hotel)

100% recommend. Helpful and very friendly staff, rooms are good enough, breakfast is better than most other hotels. The hotel manager, front desk manager and other reception staff members took good care of all the guests. If you are planning to host a big group of people, this is your hotel to stay !

Everything was wonderful during our trip. The housekeeping staff made our trip even better. We left irreplaceable items in the room and Aracely turned them in. Due to living hours away the hotel mailed the items. So grateful to the staff who helped us! Thank you so much!!

One of my favorite hotels! Great staff, great meeting rooms. Suites are very comfortable. King rooms laid out w bath separating hall from room and bed headboard against bathroom wall. Cuts down the noise a lot!

Restaurant is the weak spot. $20 breakfast for the same food as Hampton or Homewood's free breakfast. And the worst coffee of any Hilton hotel.

This was one of the best hotels I have visited in a very long time. The way the staff went beyond to make sure our stay was the best each one was so sweet and kind and Branden also made sure we got everything need. And the cookies were great treat as well.. definitely will visit them again when I'm town.

10! Charlie at the front desk really made my day. I was having a horrible day and was not so nice to her but I apologized and not only did she forgive me but she made me a goodies bag and blessed me with a amazing room! She made my day better with her kindness, professionalism and understanding of how life can be at times. I pray with all my heart God will bless her times 10 folds for what she did for me.

Lg hotel!! The inside is so inviting! The rooms furniture is dated and the room carpet is old. I expected more inside the room by the looks of the interior hotel common areas. The staff is friendly and helpful with unloading too!

As a Gold member you will enjoy the free breakfast coupons for both of us and free drinks at the bar for both of us ($15 each to spend), not including tips. Very nice and big place. The swimming pool.is not operating during the week, just weekend. No one swimming during the week when I was there. Over all I am happy, just the pillows that were thinner, but u can ask more to make them thicker. Thanks to Tom and Charlie to make me feel better with the cold water and extra pillows. It helps me sleep better.

We stayed one night as a stop over to visit family in the area. We checked in around 9 pm. The employee at the check in desk was so cheerful and welcoming. The lobby was packed with people enjoying food at one of the tables or kids watching the TVs. The weekend we stayed always had a baseball tournament so we weren’t surprised by the number of kids around. The room was clean. It didn’t seem outdated to me. There was an instance where the power surged at one point, but everything came back on after a second. My only complaint is that the AC didn’t seem to work in our room right. It was set at 65, but the thermostat said our room was at 70 degrees. It felt much warmer, not enough to make a big deal about for one night, but enough to disrupt our sleep.

Everything, was clean and had been sanitized which I have grown used to from always staying at Hilton hotels. When checking in, granted it was after 8:30pm, my husband and I were exhausted, we had not stayed at this hotel before so we did not know how to get to the elevator.

We were using a digital key and initially were going to head straight to the room but after trying to find the elevator with bags in tow we had to wait several minutes for a hotel clerk to come to the front desk and give us directions.

I did love the layout of the room, again everything was very clean as stated previously. I am used to having a microwave in my hotel room in this day and time, so that was a bit inconvenient, however because of my own assumption I may have missed that detail when booking. I am a Hilton Honors reward member, and very loyal to Hilton Hotels. Only when necessary do I request a late checkout, and have always been accommodated with at least a minimum of an hour. However, after having to wait for quite sometime for someone to pick up the phone morning of checkout to request additional time, I was met with a very matter of fact clerk who informed me that I would only be given an additional 30mins. Grateful, for any extra time, I was disappointed because I did not have a good night's sleep and had been and still was at the time of calling in extreme pain. It would have been nice to have had the opportunity to explain this. I do realize at certain points of time, everyone cannot be accommodated, so I will overlook this.

I had a nice quiet stay here. I love the balconies but the rooms are a bit out dated. I didn’t like my tv on the side of my bed instead of in front of it. The bathrooms in the rooms were very little. God don’t get me started on that shuttle driver. Other than that everything was cool. I wasn’t too mad about having to be there. I wish I had stayed longer

I was sent to the hotel by an airline when I was stranded.,

The airline made a mess of it but Wayne at the front desk and the lady at the bar did everything they could to help me! Great people, wish I could have met them under better circumstances... but you can trust them to help you!

We absolutely loved the one night we stayed at this location last weekend! It is a beautiful hotel, and was extremely clean! The desk staff greeted us very warmly every time we passed by any of them and the pool was great and in a beautiful location! Comfortable beds, nice breakfast, and close to the events we were attending while in town! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the staff that maintain such a lovely hotel!

This place is well known for its hospitality and good work in the facility. I loved having my little one with us at this location. They loved his little glasses and his positive attitude. Guests can feel the care taken on the property. The only place I would say is lacking is the quality of the food itself at breakfast. The employees are fantastic, but the food quality for the cost is high. The rooms are clean, the staff is accommodating to any requests, and the location is excellent. We will be back on our next trip to the Raleigh-Durham area.

Was greeted with a warm welcome I believe his name was Brandon. He was very professional and courteous also received some warm cookies. Even while he was attending me he acknowledged the person behind me which I thought was so awesome and professional instead of having them just wait.

The room was clean and spacious. House keeping was excellent and friendly. The location was good as well. I have two negative comments 1. Being the carpet needs to be updated 2. The placement of the tv is kinda weird to be on the side of the bed. Other than that will definitely stay here again. Thank you

Started off bad. When I first arrived there were no handicapped spots available near the front, so I had to park on the side. Trying to get to the front, I find out that the sidewalk doesn't go all the way and there were no on/off ramps near the end, so I had to go ALL THE WAY back where I came. I'm frustrated and ready to leave a not so good review. Then I enter and I'm greeted by the warmest, friendliest person I've met in awhile. Mrs. Charlie Thompson was so accommodating and helpful. She is the main reason for the 4 stars! The hallways are tight but the rooms are spacious. Make the sidewalks more wheelchair friendly and I would recommend and revisit.

Hallways and Rooms need some tlc. Start by getting rid of that tired brown carpet and adding more lighting throughout. The bathroom is decent, but most of the furniture in the room is dated and in need of a refresh. If you’re assigned room 318, I hope they reseal the windows. The lack of sealing made the room drafty and allowed highway noise to seep in. Decent last minute choice for dreamville, however I should have booked early for the other hotels that our friends are at which are more modernized. Also, I understand we checked in late, however it would have been appreciated to be offered a different rate since our room was switched.

Rooms are a lil older but the beds by far are wonderful for a hotel. The service is top notch. Location is centered to Raleigh and Durham and a hop to the airport. The courtyard and lobby are beautiful and can add a bit of romance to any stay. The pool is heart shaped if that helps for the couples. Definitely a diamond hiding in the rough.

We loved our one night stay at the Doubletree! We requested for early check-in and they texted me once it was available. Upon check-in, my husband and I both got warm chocolate chip cookies and we had a king size bed which was nice. The restaurant was good for dinner and we also went for the breakfast the next morning. We used our $15 food and beverage credit. The breakfast buffet was really good. Lots of warm options. Would’ve loved to have a waffle maker but lots of other warm options. We would definitely stay here again. Clean, comfortable and lots of amenities to stay at the hotel.

Nice property set back which has its pluses and minuses, you can slightly hear the expressway from the parking lot but otherwise is a quiet and peaceful setting. The down side to that is your not really able to walk to restaurants or shopping if needed. The property has a restaurant, bar, and gym so you can just hang out there. The food was decent. But is was a bit like being on an island.

The pool area and outdoor covered seating areas added to the resort feel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay but if I were to nit pick I would recommend more constant cleaning. It seemed the some of the common areas didn't get vacuumed often enough.

Front desk assistance was top notch. I was surprised to read negative reviews while looking for hotel restaurant reviews. We’ve interacted with 3 different gentlemen and they were all pleasant and made us feel welcomed. Rooms are clean, yes the carpet is a little gross (isn’t all carpet) just leave your shoes on. Fitness center is well equipped too.

Really nice hotel, only thing is our room seemed kinda old. Furniture was scuffed up, old tv(not a smart TV so could not log into Netflix) chipped tile in the bathroom. But very clean.

Front desk was very nice as well.

We had a good stay.

My experience was a breath of fresh air through a mask, from check-in to departure. The staff was genuinely friendly, informative and stocked with killer, warm chocolate chip cookies that I didn't mind cheating for. They even had little "extras" available in case you forgot to bring a toiletry or two as I did. The grounds were beautiful and thankfully so, since that is where my friends and I spent most of our time relaxing outdoors with a view of the pool (which was closed during our stay), catching up, and rocking away on the rocking chair deck. Our first night there, we ordered food from the lounge/restaurant which was amazingly run by a one-woman-show and she was so awesome, you would never know she didn't have any help; the food was also surprisingly good. I felt safe, my room was very clean/roomy, and I slept thoroughly well both nights of my stay; thanks to the incredibly soft bed in my room, and the peace and quiet. I left feeling refreshed and looking forward to another visit should I ever find myself in Durham again. In these times, that is all I can ask for.

I loved the location of this hotel. I was greeted by very friendly front desk team and warm chocolate cookies! We got there early on a Friday evening, and the lounge was open which had a great menu of appetizers, and the bartender/cook was super friendly and efficient. The outside areas in the back of the hotel by the pool were relaxing. The customer service was excellent, very accommodating and I felt like they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. My room and my two other family member's rooms were clean and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfy during covid. There are places to eat and shop nearby so that made it extra convenient. I will definitely be back!

I rarely leave reviews, but this place is simply amazing. The hotel is clearly an older property that doesn't fit the generic business class model. It should serve as an example on how to maintain a classic venue. It has balconies overlooking a well maintained courtyard, tons of covered outdoor spaces, an outstanding restaurant that's not just an afterthought, a nice bar, and tons of meeting space. Every member of the staff was polite, courteous, and seemed to genuinely care about my stay / experience. The front desk staff was beyond phenomenal, and the management folks were even better! I had a last-minute meeting space need and they actually arranged for me to use a room that had been vacated early. Without question, this is the only place I'll be staying on future trips to Raleigh.,

Very clean. Bed was comfy. Room was huge and price point was great. Nice location and staff was quick. The entire hotel was extremely clean and very nice. Would 10/10 recommend and stay here again. I Had my wedding and reception at their establishment on April 27, 2024, and it was just amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Service was phenomenal, anything I needed they were there for me with a smile. I would definitely use the location again for events or just a night away from home.

Have been staying at this hotel quite alot over the years and have always had a good experience. This was one of the first hotels to offer any kind of food and drink to go in the midst of the pandemics early days. The bar staff here is amazing and the food is good too. This is my go to hotel whenever I am working in the triangle.

Was there for a two night stay and had a great experience. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the hotel was nice and quiet. We had room service one night, the food was good and not too expensive in my experience. If I had any complaints, it would be that there are those typical "no support" pillows...you know the ones. They simply collapse when you lay your head down. I think they're what you'll find at most hotels these days. But hey, if you're that sensitive or have neck problems, just bring your own. That's what I should have done anyway πŸ˜‚. Great hotel, enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back if we're in that past of the state again.
