Dispute Your Citation Easily

Contest your Newark parking ticket within 48 hours of the citation issuance date in one of the following ways.

  1. Send an email to customerservice@newarkparking.org consisting of a copy of your citation, the reason for your dispute, and contact details.
  2. Fax the copy of your ticket, your explanation, and personal details to 973-623-2854.

The Newark Parking Authority will review your request and either reject it or forward the citation to the Municipal Court for dismissal. If they refuse to process it, you can contact the Municipal Court by yourself; the number is on the back of your ticket.

Ways To Pay Newark Parking Tickets

The city offers two ways of paying Newark NJ parking tickets:

  1. Online: Click here and have the following at hand: the original citation, license plate number, and your credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
  2. In-person: Head to the City of Newark Municipal Court, placed at 31 Green Street. It’s open from 8:30 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and until 12:30 PM on Saturdays.
