We booked a room block for our wedding. The rooms are very nice , everything is modern. Our honeymoon suite was a large room and we only got to sleep in it because we had to be up early the next day for travel. My only gripe would be their bar closing at 11 pm on a Saturday. Our reception was quite short and we'd hoped to move things to their hotel bar, unfortunately it was almost closing time by the time we all made it back to the hotel. I understand closing at 11pm on a Tuesday, but a Saturday? A little disappointing. Along with their rooftop pool, a little underwhelming compared to the rest of the hotel. But our short stay was great, we explored the gorgeous lobby, very fun.

The Westshore exceeded my expectations. When visiting a friend staying for a long term work assignment, I was impressed with the amenities offered including great work space in the rooms, super accommodating staff. Shout out to Joaquin, Kevin, and Santiago. They were all incredibly helpful . The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Location of the hotel was very convenient to the airport, Hyde Park and downtown. There is also a very well run Publix next door. Great value.

Great place, really like it here. Beautiful design of the building and rooms. There is a lot of quiet space in the lobby or backyards where you can work,to me it's a really important part. Definitely recommend it!

Unfortunately, my spouse and I did not stay at the Westshore Grand. However, we did stop in to have a drink. There we met a delightful bartender named Allison. She made a very tasty old fashioned for my spouse. Considering the hotel itself, the drinks were reasonably priced. She gave us excellent service.

I only used this hotel for long term parking. I highly recommend it. The shuttle to the airport made it easy to come and go. My car was in good condition, exactly as I had left it. I left my car for four nights and it was very affordable. I will use them again any time I fly out of the Tampa airport.

While the room looked tired the rest of the hotel warrants 5 stars. Finding the entrance was a challenge and we ended up entering thru the parking garage which meant schlogging our luggage to reception then going back to put out parking permit in the windshield. The restaurant was top drawer due mainly to our server, Eva, who was 6 parts professional and 4 parts friendly - the exact balance required for this atmosphere. The food was excellently cooked and well presented; the service impeccable.

Our criteria for this hotel was proximity to the airport - would definitely book again

Our flight was cancelled and United Airlines put us up the Westshore Grand. If we ever stay in Tampa we will definitely stay here. The room was clean, cozy and best of all had the freshest smelling body wash for showers. If I were a lesser man I would have stolen some. Anyway, beautiful lobby/ bar area with shuttles to the airport. The kids loved the roof top pool.

I attended a Work event here and it was beautifully set up. The bar area is spacious and they offer cart bars too. Dinner was great with beef, chicken or vegetarian options. The building is beautiful but parking from the garage to the hotel was a tad confusing. Find the elevator to go directly into the hotel or go down the random stair cases to end up out on the actual roads outside of the hotel.

Great hotel overall. My family stayed for a long weekend and we loved the proximity to the airport and convenience of local restaurants and shopping. Not a far drive to the beach either! The hotel is very clean, staff very helpful and friendly, convenient coffee shop in the lobby, very nice pool on the 9th floor with a beautiful view of the bay, and the beds are comfortable too! Our room had a coffee maker and mini fridge as well. We definitely recommend this hotel.

As a frequent business traveler to Tampa, this is a hotel I choose to stay at frequently. The customer service, cleanliness and all around experience is top notch. The lobby bar has great food and drinks.

I recently stayed at the Westshore Grand and accidentally left some items (of value) in my room. The housekeeping staff turned it in and Marion was so helpful to get my items back to me.

Highly recommend this hotel for business or personal travel.

Check in fast & easy. Easy access hotel off of 275 Walking distance to food and Publix supermarket literally across the street. All amenities are accessible. Comfortable beds and perfect for a 2 day business trip. Will stay again at this Marriott Hotel.

Business trip with personal touches! First time stay at this property and it was pleasantly exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff was small but mighty, and so relatable and personal. Half an easy walking block to the Mall and restaurant area. All hotel areas were clean and comfortable. I'll be back for personal or business next time.

Overall this hotel is a great property. Every single hotel employee I came across was nice and professional.

The rooms are nice. A couple issues though. The beds here are extremely high up. Normally that's not an issue but I had just pulled a quad playing sports so it was borderline painful to get in and out of bed. Also the A/C could have been a little better considering it's Florida. Thankfully it wasn't super hot out but if it was, I definitely would have been asking to get it looked at or a different room. And lastly with the rooms, the one I was in faced an office building. So it was a little awkward waking up and getting out of bed and opening my window and being directly across from 15+ people having a meeting at a boardroom table.

The location is good. There is a mall and a grocery store nearby and a variety of fast food and sit down restaurants.

Solid four stars hotel. The room is nice but does need to be updated. The gym is the best I have used. Has all updated equipment with towels and water. It's very roomy as well.

We haven't stayed here yet but we've used the parking and shuttle service to/from TPA multiple times. Today, though, was exceptional. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Dewayne driving the shuttle today. He was so incredibly kind, positive and caring. The impact that short trip/visit made on us because of Dewayne was incredible. Companies need to know and recognize that it's people like him on the front lines that make such positive impacts. He is truly exceptional and he represents the hotel so beautifully!

The Westshore Grand has a wonderful staff. The breakfast crew are fantastic. The front desk agents are fun and helpful. Although dated, the public areas are comfortable and clean. The guest rooms need some maintenance. Tattered carpets in the rooms. We had an old sticky hairdryer. Walls and corners that need painting. Housekeeping keeps the rooms well stocked and clean. It's not a housekeeping issue at all. We enjoyed our stay and hope the Westshore Grand gets some attention. Probably a 3.5, only because of the needed updating.

Everything was great with the room and service. I had a hard time trying to find where the shuttle pick up location was from the Tampa Airport to the hotel. I'm going to try my best to describe where to go below. After heading to baggage claim you follow the signs to the car rentals. You take a three story escalator (or the elevator to the third floor) and head to the monorail. You'll stay on the monorail until the last stop. Head over to the area where all of the rental car check-in desks are. Stay on the third floor and there will be a covered bridge to go across the street past the desks. Don't go over the bridge! Take the elevators by the bridge to the first floor and there's a section for shuttles picking up and dropping off. I hope this helps someone in the future!

Stopped by for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Location is right next to major interstates and restaurants/malls nearby, which is nice for visitors.

Their food was mediocre at best. The steak fillets were cooked inconsistently amongst our table and the salmon was dry. The waiters kept taking my food/drink before I could finish.

We were in Tampa visiting our kids and we stayed from 10/14-10/16. The entire hotel staff was so friendly and helpful, from when we arrived to when we left. The valet service was easy and nice to use. The front desk was friendly and easily made our request for extra towels a priority. They had them up to us in about 10 minutes as they were dealing with another guests request at the moment. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it is very nice. The rooftop pool has a great view. We will definitely be staying again the next time we visit.

Second time staying here and it's a real treat. Older luxury hotel that's been upgraded over the years. 20 minutes to the beach and a roof top pool, watching the sunsets from the pool, stunning!

Not sure about this place. Looks great when you pull up to it. And has appeal once you walk in. But once you get to your room you realize its an older hotel located in a business center. Its in a great location, close to the airport and across the street from the Westside Mall. But the hotel needs some modernization. Especially more accessible outlets in the room with USB ports. The bar area was small for the size of the place with a limited menu.

My husband and I booked New Year's weekend for a quick getaway before we have to suffer the long awaited months until our next long weekend on Memorial Day. What a great surprise. This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We were able to check-in early and the room had an amazing view of the office lobby below, with fountains and pergolas and beautiful decor. The bathroom was a little dated and needed some repairs over the shower area. Other than that, the room was great and very spacious. The staff at the bar was super-friendly and a joy to see for a drink before we went out for dinner. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

Employees are great. Very nice and willing to help. A distance from downtown Tampa. Some nice restaurants nearby walking distance. Room was clean. Room was very dark because there are no outside windows. All windows face inside areas and offices so you can't leave your drapes open.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! Staff, especially the ones at check in were very helpful. As gold rewards member the lady in charge this day(Samantha, I think)came out to fix something for me and explain everything since it was my first time there and it is a LARGE hotel..the parking garage deal was a little complicated at first but I got the hang of it,lol. I def. Enjoyed everything and will b back anytime I can.

The Westshore Grand, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel on Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa is a great hotel that has much to offer and is in the middle of everything. I really like the rooftop pool and the views from the rooms. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need for the best stay

I had a bad experience before arriving at the hotel arranging transport and I explained this to the front desk. The lady who was there, Katrina, could not have been more understanding and accommodating. She went above and beyond to look after us and made everything perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. And a big thank you to Katrina - she is amazing!

We stayed for 3 nights. The room was nice, spacious and clean. They cleaned the room every day which was very nice. I enjoyed coming back to the room, and the room looked tidy again like we just got there for the first time. We were able to check in early and I loved that part too. The issues I had with the room is we were right next to the elevator. We heard the elevator alllll night. And, the glass that overlooked the courtyard are NOT tinted and the office building side could see straight into your room. So there is lack of privacy if you stay on the courtyard side. You have to close your curtains to change and the view to the pretty courtyard wasn't being enjoyed. I thought it was pretty neat that there is an office building directly across from your room. But their windows are not tinted either so you can see what they are working on. If you have really good eye sight the computers can be read to a degree. We could always find parking which is a great plus. The breakfast cafe was really nice and priced reasonably. The pool (rooftop)was cute. It is small but pretty cool with it being on floor 9 and it over looks the Bay. It would be nice if it could be slightly heated because it was really cold. Especially since roof tops get breezy. We only spent maybe 20 mins in the pool because it was so cold. They have restrooms by the pool and I really liked that. Tons of towels were available. The bathroom in the room was nice. The toilet sits really low to the ground so I would recommend to the hotel slightly taller ones because, if you have a hard time squatting these might be difficult to get on and off. Great water pressure. The tub was odd because it would fill up and not drain while you are taking a shower. The mattress was nicer than the Diplomat in Hollywood, Fl and we stayed there last weekend. I could tell it was a pillow top but it wasn't a spring mattress and was firm. I was happy with it. I did wish the room could have cooled down a little more but that was ok no biggy. This hotel is in a great location. The mall is across the street and Publix is next door. This was probably my favorite part about the hotel was the location. We stayed on the 11th floor and going to the room was cool because they have glass that you can look at the courtyard while you acend to your floor. I would stay here again but ask to make sure our room is not directly next to the elevators, the motors sound like a leaf blower allllll night long. Hope to visit again.

Overall a nice hotel but weird setup. Our room was clean and nice, but small. The window overlooked the inside of the hotel and business offices directly across so thankfully we stayed on a weekend or it would have been more weird. No free coffee or breakfast, for what you pay for the room to add breakfast at $20+ per person on top in the morning is not worth it for the so-so hotel. I have no major complaints, room, elevator and hotel itself was nice and clean. Ordered dinner at the bar downstairs, guy seemed a little aggravated to have me ordering food and not drinks. Pool was OK. Courtyard was cute and life size chess board fun. Overall just OK if you get a good price maybe.

The hotel was in a very good location! Most of my Uber & Lyft rides from the hotel ranged between $10-15. The only complaint I had was concerning the shower head in the bathroom and the dimensions of the bathroom which was a little uncomfortable. Otherwise the service was great and the staff was very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

From the time we arrived til checkout, every staff member was very friendly and helpful. Check in was very fast and smooth, room was very clean and well stocked. The breakfast in the hotel lobby was better than anything you could get elsewhere. Janeen the server was great! Even the cook came out to see if we were satisfied. The hospitality here is unmatched to anywhere I've stayed in Tampa before. Will definitely return!

We held our 2023 family reunion at this hotel and from day one, the service was amazing. Matthew and his team made the planning process a breeze. Upon our arrival that man that served us was friendly and helpful. The event coordinators and team had everything together and in a timely manner,. The front desk made check in for the family easy. Shay, at the front desk, and Thomas the bartender, helped our family relax and enjoy the time there. Thank you all so much!

We had our wedding here at The Centre Club. My husband and I, as well as our bridal party, and friends and family, got rooms here for that weekend at their discounted rate for our event. The staff was so kind and accommodating, upon finding out at check in that my husband and I were the bride and groom, they upgraded us to an Ambassador Suite. My bridal party and I, and my husband and his groomsmen, were all able to get ready together but separate in the suite so my husband didn’t see me before the wedding. Everything worked out perfectly and we were so happy with our accommodations. I would definitely recommend this hotel

This hotel is so gorgeous. Loved the bar and food they offer. Did not get a chance to try the breakfast. The little cafe next to the bar is super good too. Rooms were very clean. House keeping daily. Cute outdoor area with ping pong, mini golf, and live size chess. Only had one bad experience with a rude front desk worker late at night the rest were great

Grateful for this quiet place to stay during a long challenging layover. Everyone was so kind and reasonable to deal with esp when my airline again pushed out my flight 6 hours past check out time. They let me hang out in my room until I had to leave. Walked to Publix for necessity . Had a great latte at the little illy shop.

So quiet and peaceful. I had a king size bed and slept amazing .

Thanks you!

This hotel is AMAZING!!! I don’t even know where to start! The staff is great, location is nice, food and bar is nice, and room is clean with nice beds. Good service in this day and age is HARD to come by. Well, not here! The staff greets you when you are entering and departing. My favorite staff member was Ms. Shay. She was truly a blessing. My time with her made me feel as if I knew her for years. Shay was a very knowledgeable and professional. She made my family and I feel right at home! I will definitely be returning to this hotel. 👏🏽👏🏽

clean and fairly quiet black out curtains aren't the best, but gets the job done. limited outlets for electronic devices, but you will definitely need your own charger. pillows are a bit hard for my liking, and with all 4 being the same, I didn't sleep as well as I'd hoped.

the vent in the shower has a 4 way grill so it might be a bit creepy looking into the black of the vent wondering if someone is looking back at you.

I am definitely a fan of the layout of the rooms. you won't feel cramped inside.

the mini fridge will keep things cool buy won't freeze so keep that in mind when you pack food and whatnot.

the most important thing is the HVAC can be independently controlled so if your not locked into a regional/locals temp.

as I lay there adjusting the pillows I started to take note of the blower motor sound. it's very quiet so for those that can't have fan noise this would go unnoticed by you.

We evacuated here to get water, power, and internet after Hurricane Ian. It's a nice hotel, but obviously older and retrofitted. For example, there are not as many convenient places to charge devices as we expected. My sons were having trouble splitting a full bed (one is over 6 feet), but when we asked for a cot, we were told it might not fit, so they might not bring one. They didn't bring one. There was room for one. They did promptly bring other things we requested, like extra towels. The location is very convenient to plenty of restaurants and shopping. The pool upstairs is a nice place to sit and relax in the evenings. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Great hotel for business. Close to everything.

Con:

One downside is the table area close to the bar. I was working with my business partners and there were 2 TVs with high volume with local news and sports. This table area has usb and laptop charging setup and is a great workspace for meetings. But we had to move because of the TVs. Also, there is a piano close by and there was no lock on it. So many people stop and play it (a lot of bad players) and its also a noise distraction. This section of the hotel attracts business people and I noticed other professionals saying "lets move over there" because of the noise. Otherwise its the perfect get work done space.

I had an amazing experience my check-in went smoothly with the mobile check-in. I did end up meeting some assistance from the staff as I had brought quite a lot with me for my business meeting. They assisted me with the trolley for the luggage. They were super helpful with directions since I am directionally challenged they guided me around the hotel and the parking garage was as well as some of the local features.

This hotel and room was mostly okay. Comfortable room and bed, shower was a bit weird to operate but eventually figured it out, services were fine. My room faced the courtyard and my curtains didn’t completely filter out the light, but it wasn’t too bad, just a very faint glow.

Stayed at this hotel in Tampa and loved how close it was to the mall, airport, and shopping centers. Covered parking? Big plus! 🚗

The convenience of the location is a major plus, making shopping trips and airport runs super easy. It’s perfect for those who want everything within reach.

🚪🛁 Noticed some maintenance issues that need addressing. The washroom door hinge was rusty, which was a bit off-putting. Also, ran into a problem with a clogged / slow draining bathtub. These small details made a big difference in the overall experience.

If I had to give a detailed rating of this hotel, I would give it a 4.6/5.

Positive: The front desk was easy to check in, bartenders are friendly (well priced), and the housekeeping crew are very clean and efficient. The hallways and room were clean and had no bugs. There is a free parking garage with hotel entrance on the 2nd floor. Also, there is a publix right next door!

Negative: The shower handle is old in the room we stayed in, and we had to keep pulling it to stay on the shower head. The walls are thin, so if you have loud talkers next to you, you hear their whole conversation, especially when they laugh pretty laugh at 2am. Side note: if you plan on using the pool. They don't have enough accommodations for laying out or putting your belongings somewhere.

Overall, would I stay at the hotel again? On a cleanliness aspect, yes. On the fact it has everything around the hotel and is in a safe location, yes. On the fact you can't control who is next to you because you want to sleep.. for the price we paid on a holiday weekend.. I don't know.
