Loved the size of the room and loved James and his hospitality in meeting my needs to ensure I had a great stay.
Every time I stay here it's a great experience everyone is so helpfu and the rooms are superb. Ms.Tasha, Tia , and James are great people they really make sure you're taken care of what can I say the staff is absolutely amazing.
Booked a king suite got handicap room when i complained the front desk clerks laughed at it off. Elevators were broke. Not wasting my money again.

Pool has been closed for years. Room are outdated. It did serve a great breakfast. Still beats any la quinta tho. Rooms clean and friendly staff.
Hotel carpet is stained and decor is outdated. The Bonvoy app said there was shuttle service available to and from the airport but of course, due to covid they’re not operating. I’ve stayed at hundreds of Marriott properties but this one doesn’t seem to standard. Only reason for two stars instead of one is the staff was very helpful and friendly.
I had a great experience at this hotel. Tia, the woman at the front desk was so helpful and she made me feel very safe after I had a bad experience at a different hotel nearby. She went out of her way to make sure I had made it to my room safely, I really appreciate what she did and that extra level of customer service. Beautiful hotel with clean rooms and excellent staff. Will defiantly stay here again next time I am in Charlotte.
It was an amazing stay. The food was great and same as the room. Right next to the airport so it was convenient, over all it was the best hotel in Charlotte.
Out of all the hotels that I found available the night of my staying, I decided to choose Springhill Suites. When checking in, I encountered some issues. The desk front assistant seemed to have problems trying to check me in. She said. My booking was for another date. I showed her my expedia receipt and she fixed it. She, then, asked for my credit card and I gave it to her, to which I thought it was normal. Few days later, I found out that I got charged $83.00 extra, in two separate transactions: one for $63 and another one for $20. I called them to ask them why because I paid for it when I booked the room through Expedia. The front desk attendant told me that the $63 hotel was an additional fee that the hotels charges and $20 was just a deposit. I called Expedia and Expedia solved it. According to Expedia, the hotel claimed that they made a mistake. So disappointing because clearly, the front desk attendant lied to me when I called them directly about the charges. Thank you, Expedia!

Decent Spring Hill Suites property by the airport. The staff was helpful.
The shuttle bus took over 40 minutes to pick me up from the airport. The room had big stains on the carpet and sofa. And even the door had dirt stains that could have been cleaned easily.
The reception staff were helpful and friendly though.
Pool is not open, or breakfast available even though it currently says it on the website as well as the third party site I booked through. Called to confirm all calls were forward to voicemail. Tried checking in and concierge was no where to be found for ten minutes. Upon entering our first room the door came off the hinges and smelled awful. We went out for food and discovered urine in the elevator. We notified staff of the urine in the elevator at 10:15 pm when we checked out the urine was still in the elevator and had been stepped in and tracked through the main lobby. We checked out at 11:20 the next day. I asked for a refund but was only granted one of my days. Even though they have a mission statement in the lobby that says they would provide a refund if unhappy. I was unhappy, disappointed, disgusted and frustrated. I will never lay my head at a Springhill Suites ever again!

I think I loved it more because of how amazing the staff was; helpful and thoughtful during a trying time. Traveling during a pandemic can be stressful and they made a lasting impression. If I have to return to Charlotte this year that's where I plan to stay if I need a hotel. I tried to include pictures of my room, which was very comfortable!
James the night clerk was amazing, helpful, courteous and very professional. We had a small issue with our room and the young lady on duty was very helpful and accommodating (unfortunately I didn't get her name). Lovely stay.
Room was not clean, no face towels, bed not made. Looks like they stopped before finishing. Potato chips on the floor. Used napkins on the counter. Had to wait 5 minutes for someone to let us in at 9:30pm. Horrible
Very nice, clean hotel. Of course the only bad thing was due to Covid 19 the pool and hot tub were closed. Friendly and efficient staff. If I stay in Charlotte again, this will be my first choice.

BEWARE.....SpringHill Marriott use to be my go to choice a quick get away. I have stayed here several times after my last stay I will NEVER be back. Saturday March 14, 2020 my husband and I checked in for an over night stay. Strike one the jacuzzi was down which was not mentioned until after my money was taken, but I was going to make the best of the night. Around 8pm we left for drinks at a nearby bar coming back to the hotel around 1030 pm. Called it a night. Then OMG the next morning we go down for breakfast around 6 and I to grab something out my car " which was parked right at the side door under a light pole" only to discover my car window had been smashed in and my glove compartment ran through. After notifying front desk and CMPD, hotel security rode around and this had happened to a total of 7 cars including mine. I was devastated only to find out this happens often at this location. And what's even worse I never received a call, letter nor email from any General manager of SpringHill with concerns or apologies. This shows no regard to their guest. A $114 stay turned into $700. Next time I will spend my money elsewhere. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
Close to airport. Rooms not as large as expected. Cleaning could be better. Only one TV split in between two rooms. Included pool and workout room. Conference room is small. Breakfast is not the greatest. Friendly staff.
Normally SpringHill Suites are amazing. Let me start by saying this one was clean, and the staff was friendly. However, the room left much to be desired for the amount of money it cost. There were hardly any lights, stains on the furniture and the bathroom was outdated. It worked and it was safe, but only worth about 1/2 of what I paid.
Clean, basic hotel perfect for a business trip. Decent work out equipment and breaksfast. Location is not with in walking distance of any food establishments but Uber available to get around. Staff friendly and helpful. Will stay again.
My room was very clean and smelled fresh. Beds were very comfortable and living room area was also home like. However the morning of checkout there where multiple cars broken into including mine.

Just needed a room for a quick trip to NC to visit family. The parking lot is a good size. The staff was nice and the lobby looked wonderful. When I entered the room it was a nice size two bed room with a living room couch area. I took a quick tour of the room and noticed the bathroom faucet had a drip. A steady drip although the water was off. Not a big deal. When I left the room for dinner the front handle of the door was loose but the door locked properly. I was happy to see the pool and hot tub and went to make use of it. I got in the hot tub and was ready to relax and read my book only to find it cold. I waited to see if it needed to warm up and when it didn't I went to ask the front desk what was wrong. She politely told me it was not working. They could have put a sign up. Overall, for just the one night it was a fine place to stay just passing through.
Stayed one Night here, was a nice place breakfast was good, but we were really tired and needed a good sleep but the airplane sounds from the airport was hard and contantly zooming till late night.. if you want to chill and go places I’d say yes but if you need some away time and good sleep... not possible ..

I first visited this location over 10 years ago when it first opened and the Springhill Suites were started. I was so impressed I have visited several Springhill Suites in many different cities since. I have never had a complaint about the room qualities until now! It has definitely gone downhill here! The furniture was stained and chipped, the freezer over packed with ice, the bathtub dingy and moldy (some bleach and grout please!) Corporate definitely needs to pay a visit to this location. Luckily I only checked in for a night or I would have tried to move over to the Courtyard up the road. Please do some upgrades!!

Got in late for a 1 night stay before we had to catch an early morning flight. Room was not clean (trash hadn't been removed, towel on the floor, cups out of wrappers, what I'm hoping was chewing Tobacco and not cat feces on the floor.) Front desk said it was marked as clean, and didn't offer to remedy the situation, but we didn't push the issue. Was already 11PM and too sick/tired to deal with it. Shower had hot water and the bed was alright...that was basically it.
I found it to be a great experience, staff very professional and wonderful. My room very clean, hotel entry way well organized and super clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Your surounded by many area for lunch or dinner, also close to airport.

The rooms aren't great, but it's a hotel airport so don't expect the Ritz. I have to applaud the service though - Maddie (the front deck manager during the evening) was absolutely incredible when dealing with a loud, rude, belligerent guest who would not stop yelling at her when she was trying to explain the Marriott had oversold the hotel (which is totally out of her control) and comped them a night at a different hotel (which honestly this guy should be happy about because he wasn't missing much here) and weren't charging them for anything. Maddie handled the situation was so much grace and poise.
I booked this hotel on the thought that any Marriott would be a good quality hotel. I was surprised to find out this is not true. The first room I was given smelled like wet dog or mold, not really sure. It was pretty bad. There were stains on the couch and some type of spill was on the night stand from the last person. I went down with my bags to either checkout or get another room and the front desk attendant was very nice and gave me another room. It still is a bit dirty with some mold on the bathroom ceiling and lack of house keeping. I am hoping I can shorten my trip and switch to another hotel as I am supposed to be in town for 5 nights. I would like to add that all the staff is very nice.
Not up to Marriott standards!! Up to now I have never had a bad experience at a Marriott property. Appears they had either taken some other hotel chains property and executed and poor conversion or have not kept the property up. No available outlets close to the bed. My room issued had not been cleaned, the list goes on. Very disappointing. On a positive note, breakfast was good and front desk was friendly and on point.
I booked this hotel specifically for the free airport shuttle. I needed a room the night before my flight and the night my flight returned. As I check in I ask what how often the shuttle runs. The front desk associate told me I needed to reserve in advance but the shuttle was full from 6am-10am. I said my flight leaves at 9:45am and it is international. He checked and worked me in for the 6am shuttle. He said to just call when I return and they will send the shuttle. Get back from my trip and call, I'm told they wont have a shuttle driver until 11pm, but if I can find my own way to the hotel they will give me points. If I'm paying for a ride I would've stayed at a much nicer hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were old and lack updating that I see in most marriott hotels. So if you just need a place to sleep and you don't mind having to supply your own transportation to the airport you would be fine here. Otherwise stay somewhere else.
No clean towels and overcharged my stay.
The first room I was assigned there was soap and residue in the bathtub and the faucet was broken. The lady at the front desk was nice and moved me to another room. The second room was fine but had a massive stain on the couch.
In the morning the breakfast was decent but there was not enough space to sit and they kept running out of everything and nothing was replaced. The second night we stayed, housekeeping made our beds. When we woke up to take a shower we realized that there were no towels. I had hung my towel up to be environmental but there were no towels. I walked down to the front desk and the man told me that there were no clean towels, scoffed at me and walked away. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO TAKE A SHOWER WITHOUT TOWELS?!? Again the breakfast was fine but kept running out of food with no place to sit and eat.
When I went to check out I gave the guy at the front desk the keys and I asked for my receipt. He said it had been e-mailed to me and walked away. When I got home I realized that they charged me the incorrect rate for my stay. They charged me almost $80 more for the clean room that I was moved to. Unacceptable. I am never staying at a SpringHill Suites ever again.
When I arrived at the airport, I called about the shuttle. I was informed the shuttle driver was out and I should take a taxi or uber to the hotel. They would either reduce my bill by $15 or give me 2500 points. Since I was using points for the room, I requested the points. When I returned home I checked for my points. After 5 days, I called the hotel and left a message on the manager's phone detailing what happened and asked her to return my call. It's now 2 days later and the points have not been added and my call has not been returned.
The manager called me today, apologized, and credited me with the points. Everything else about the hotel was excellent for an airport hotel.
Staff was really great and friendly. Breakfast was awesome. The food was fresh daily. Anything you need he service desk provided. Loved this place minus the smell on the fifth floor. Trash needed to be taken out. Weekend staff was low when I arrived Sunday.
