Absolutely dirty. Had dirty sheets and roaches in the rooms and common areas. This was a comp hotel from American Airlines so I have no idea what the price is, but it couldn't be low enough for a roach motel.

Reviews are accurate: roaches, dirty, and loud (bass from club can be heard int he room even with AC on). I don’t like to post negative reviews and staff was very nice, but this was the grossest hotel. Only there for maybe 5 hours due to rescheduled American Airlines flight but I would tell anyone looking to stay there to run.

We stayed at your Clarion hotel on August 2 for an early morning airport departure on August 3. When we checked in, the guest services indicated that we had paid thru Park Sleep Fly, and I informed him that I had canceled that and made a separate reservation under my name because clarion had no record of my PSF reservation when I called earlier in the week to check on it. I asked that he double check again and ensure it was paid because I didn’t think it was. He confirmed that yes- it was paid. It was very evident that I was not trying to skip out on paying, and the error was on your end, as I insisted multiple times that I thought I had not paid. I had to lead a work presentation the evening of August 2 and so my family left the room. I received a phone call mid way through my presentation, but could not answer. A few minutes later, you knocked on my door and I also, could not answer as my presentation was live to a national audience. Then, my door opened. It was unlocked and opened by Vickie Hunt, director of operations. I was furious, angry and shocked to find out that a hotel employee is able to just enter a guest’s room, as they please. I’m just shocked and feel as if my privacy was 100% invaded and I was terrified to stay there with my kids that evening. Had we not had a 4am airport departure the next morning, we would have left your hotel immediately. I’m shocked, angry, disappointed and we will not be staying at your hotels for future travel.

Robinson was an all class shuttle driver to the airport. Couldn’t have had a better experience with him. Restaurant in the hotel Had great burger and there was a nice bed after a stressful layover at the airport.

Drivers were amazing getting me to and from airport. Mr.Robison was safe and time efficient getting me to the airport. And his restaurant recommendations were amazing. The rest of the staff was friendly and made sure as a young woman staying by myself I felt safe.

MR. Robinson had great customer service, he mentioned the restaurant in the back of clarion, and also mentioned the free food vouchers that the airport supposed to give. Given that the airport didn’t give them to us as they was supposed to. Real cool dude

Robinson greeted us upon checkout and shuttled us to the airport! He guided us through the local restaurants and was very helpful and accommodating. Very friendly and personable. We loved meeting him!

The staff here are amazing. Very friendly and helpful! The facilty itself needs some renovations. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable but definitely needed some updating.

Had all the amenities I was expecting. Room was very clean & everything worked. Restaurant downstairs had an excellent breakfast. Plenty of room for parking & far enough back off the road to where you don't hear traffic noise. Would definitely stay again.

Without question when it a nicer hotels in Charlotte with a wonderful staff and have to go back to shoot a video as a matter of fact we were given permission to shoot it in their restaurant bar

This hotel was a lot more run down than I expected from the photos or description. First, I have no idea what qualified it for a 3 star hotel, but besides that the entire room smelled incredibly musty, and I actually had to take extra allergy medicine to even sleep last night. I try not to be super picky especially when I'm staying at a budget hotel, but there was a lot of problems with this hotel. Buyer beware

The bed and pillows were comfortable, and staff nice. Unfortunately that's all I have good to say about this place. Notes and signs for things you forgot were posted yet I had to buy a toothbrush because they were out. They sent me next door to the Raddison and they were also out. They asked us if we wanted a wake up call, we said yes for 7a.m. we did NOT get the wake up call.

COCKROACHS! My husband and I were comp’d a room here after our flight was delayed and we missed our connecting flight. As soon as we checked in, I saw cockroaches underneath our clock. Not even 5 minutes after we went downstairs to complain, another guest came down and complained of the same thing. American Airlines does not care about their paying customers

It’s in a good location as for as being able to walk to get something to eat . The Shuttle Driver DJ is very nice .. helped with my bags and got the door for me which Is RARE it’s a lost gesture

American Airlines put us up in this hotel due to our flight being delayed. We checked in approximately 10pm and left at 8am, so I had a limited experience; but I was impressed with what I did see! 24/7 airport shuttle, very nice and prompt drivers both to and from the airport. Friendly front desk. We got a comfortable, king size bed. Room has a mini fridge and microwave.

This motel has horrible staff. . I got yelled at by staff for shoes. I walked out to front desk with no shows on and the security guard yelled at me .it was maybe 70 ft from room to desk ..i completely understand why no one was there

Roaches..bathroom small. Outdated furniture with stains..walls dirty..mattress was coming apart. Pillows small..the lighting in the rooms are dim so you can't really see how dirty it is..bedding pad on mattress is made for a full size bed and i got a king size bed sheets kept coming off..The rooms will not make you feel comfortable..Basically a trap motel where you can smoke weed

Area not to brag about but hotel is pretty decent. Very clean room with the basic amenities, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Large lot for parking tractor trailers and large RV's. Sportsbar next and different eateries within walking distance. Hotel has restaurant inside as well.

Had a voucher after missing my connection for this hotel. Room was okay but very old and in need of updating. Signed up for the 9:30am shuttle back to the airport the night before and arrived to board it at 9:20. Was told by the driver “sorry it’s full, take uber or wait until 10am” even though we had reserved it. This made us arrive later than was comfortable to the airport. This location also charges for breakfast.

Hot, AC was broke and only blew hot air. Bathroom was so small that they had to cut the door to get it by the toilet to close. Would not recommend, was a hot a miserable stay.

We were in town on account of a family emergency with a family member in the hospital and the staff was very very kind to apply whatever discount they could to make an extended stay more affordable. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also sufficiently disinfected. My only complaint was the floor could have been cleaner.

However, I'd stay here again.

The room is very nice, the girl at the front desk was outstanding. BUT the restaurant was awful. The barmaid/ waitress was terrible. We had to get our own menus, took her forever to wait on us. THEN as the chef was dinging his bell that the food was done, she was too busy talking on her phone to get it. Almost got it myself.

The food was absolutely terrible and way too overpriced. $3 for one egg? $2 for coffee that was self service for free? The room was absolutely disgusting. The bedding was brown and dirty. The floor and walls were also stained as well as structural damage around the hotel. For being free for one night it wasn't worth it. However, the staff was polite especially the shuttle staff.

Rooms are fine. Waited almost 2 hours for food and then it was inedible. Like- probably the most awful soup (that’s right two hours for soup) I have ever tasted. Manager was no help and recommended ordering outside of the hotel. As a manager myself it was appalling and embarrassing. Do NOT come here. I don’t care if it’s free courtesy of an airline mishap. It truly was THAT BAD.

This place is very dated. Was put up here because we missed our flight. No curtain on the shower. Bathroom not very clean. Customer service was good but that's about it.

This was not the best choice of a hotel in my point of view. Their website said they offered a free hot breakfast but when we arrived, we found out that they do not offer breakfast at all. The sheets on the beds in our room had stains on them. This hotel is in the middle of two other hotels and both of the others seemed like nicer places. Someone in the hotel was playing very loud music until about 3 am and nobody asked them to turn it down. We were disappointed in our stay here for different reasons.

We were sent here by the airport due to missed flight. The website States free hot breakfast. They do not provide this amenity anymore. The desk staff and the shuttle driver was very nice. There is a gentleman's club across the street. Lots of traffic going through the parking lot. I would not recommend this place unless you are just looking for a quick place to sleep.

Front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Room has a desk with rolling chair, flat screen tv, and mini fridge. Bathroom is small but adequate. The hotel is connected to the Ramada Plaza on one side, and the Radisson on the other. You can move between the hotels without going outside. The inside courtyard is beautifully decorated for Christmas and the is a view of it from the room. Very happy with my stay, and will stay here again when in town for work.

Front desk employees were nice and helpful. Property itself is okay for an older location. However! The reviews don't tell you about the strip club across the parking lot that stays open until 2 a.m. you can hear the music in your room, hear people talking in the parking lot, and the cars flying in and out of the lot all times of the night. The first room I checked into the pillows smelled like the previous guests cologne----I assume the room linen was not changed. The toiled began flushing on its own and I was moved to another room. When I went into the new room, I noticed an old washcloth!!!!!! hanging on the shower rod. Sickening. Housekeeping is not held to a high standard at this location. Will not be back at this location. While I did receive my points back, the issue is the cleanliness of the hotel and the first impression.

The room itself wasn't bad, but the hotel is weird to access, you have to drive behind/through a few side streets which is confusing. Also is sitting right across the street from a strip joint. The restaurant on site was nothing exciting. Had their soda lines mixed so pepsi tasted bad, tried to get a coke from the vending machine and it wouldn't take money. Got one from another floor and it was warm. You couldn't hear your neighbors but you could smell what they were smoking in the halls and the elevator. As long as you stay in your room and you're only there to sleep, you will be happy with the hotel.

Great nights stay! Efficient and friendly staff, as well as clean and maintained rooms. There were some spots on the door from what looked like coffee but at that point I was just looking for something haha. Would definitely stay again! No continental breakfast though but, that wasn't a deal breaker.

The front desk agent who checked is in, Helenia, memory foggy on name, was amazing and the high light of our stay. She was friendly and attentive despite our nearly midnight check in.

Unfortunately, the restaurant failed that evening, the "kitchen lost our check"... twice. For a simple order of 12 wings and 3 chicken fingers we waited 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, we received wings with no fingers in sight.

We cancelled the order for fingers as we were nearly finished with the 12 wings.

Our room ac was noisy and there was mold in the shower.

This review would be one star were it not for Helenia.

If you want a hotel that has a quality exercise room this is NOT the place. When you walk by the gym looks nice. The weight machine was 50% inop, both stair steppers did not work. I don't like treadmills and that was the only thing left. I doubt if it worked. Mattress was all ripped up on sides, but still comfortable. Van driver was helpful and prompt.

We were stuck here a couple nights ago, as the airline cancelled our flight. I chose this place because it was affordable, and the airline didn't give me a hotel voucher.

We were greeted by a very friendly shuttle driver, who made sure he did everything he could to get us all in the van, safely. Once at the hotel, we were met with a very nice guy at the desk. Headed up to our room to find it very clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. We slept well as there wasn't very much outside noise. Got a nice shower in the morning and headed out for check out. Kelly at the desk was a phenomenal woman. She was so nice to us and let us stash our bags behind the counter so we could walk over to IHOP for breakfast. I can't say enough about how great she was. Our shuttle driver back to the airport, I think his name was Robinson. (I hope I'm not getting that wrong, I'm just horrible at remembering names.) He was also great. He got us to the airport in a very timely and safe manner, and was so respectful and kind to my fiance and I.

After 2 days of hell dealing with delayed and cancelled flights, I am so happy I chose this hotel. The staff really made a huge difference in our day, which made dealing with the BS at the airport a lot easier.

I just want to say thank you for helping us get through our travels a little easier. Y'all really were great.

This was so bad. How do I start...we got in very late. We booked an emergency hotel stay here due to my flight being delayed and disrupting my travel plans. We went to bed very quickly due to our early start. When my wife and I awoke, we noticed a few things were off. I found a plastic bag over the smoke detector in the room(a common tactic of in room smokers who want to avoid getting in trouble for lighting up in the room). The room had a funny(damp) smell. The sink seemed to be stopped up. The sheets had some dark sharpie marker splotches on them. We believe this was done by the staff to hide other stains(maybe blood). Regardless, we had imperfect sheets on our bed. The toilet had visible feel scratches on the seat. And I found a used personal product left behind by the previous guest. When we went down to the front desk to let them know about this situation, they seemed horrified enough, but they claimed they could not do anything for us other than discount our next stay because we booked though a 3rd party and they had already been paid. They claimed that we couldn't even be given a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience. I have never been so horrified in my life. This is a hotel experience that people only hear about and then laugh off because it doesn't happen like that. Stay literally anywhere else.

This place needs to work on the details of hotel service and accommodations. We stayed here due to a miss connect in Charlotte a day ago. There were really great reviews, however, when we checked in around 10:45/11pm, there was not greeting from the Check-In staff. The room was alright until I had to clean hair from the shower and sink (SO GROSS!!) The shower curtain needed to be BURNED, it gave off the worst smell ever. I just wanted to be done with this place and go home(sometimes that's the downside of booking hotels at the last minute....it's a game of chance) The ONLY positive to our stay was the Shuttle driver Mr. Robinson, he was so pleasant, warm and engaging. He made me forget about all the negatives (for a moment.) He was mentioned a lot on several reviews I read prior. Other than meeting him(Mr. Robinson) this was but far my WORST Clarion experience. I don't think I would want to stay here again, but Mr. Robinson you keep SHINING Sir.
