The hotel stay accommodated my American Airlines delay and was very professional. The shuttle driver Robinson was very personable and helped make my morning!

We were stuck here a couple nights ago, as the airline cancelled our flight. I chose this place because it was affordable, and the airline didn't give me a hotel voucher.

We were greeted by a very friendly shuttle driver, who made sure he did everything he could to get us all in the van, safely. Once at the hotel, we were met with a very nice guy at the desk. Headed up to our room to find it very clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. We slept well as there wasn't very much outside noise. Got a nice shower in the morning and headed out for check out. Kelly at the desk was a phenomenal woman. She was so nice to us and let us stash our bags behind the counter so we could walk over to IHOP for breakfast. I can't say enough about how great she was. Our shuttle driver back to the airport, I think his name was Robinson. (I hope I'm not getting that wrong, I'm just horrible at remembering names.) He was also great. He got us to the airport in a very timely and safe manner, and was so respectful and kind to my fiance and I.

After 2 days of hell dealing with delayed and cancelled flights, I am so happy I chose this hotel. The staff really made a huge difference in our day, which made dealing with the BS at the airport a lot easier.

I just want to say thank you for helping us get through our travels a little easier. Y'all really were great.

Big beautiful rooms, crisp sheets, extremely comfy big bed. Very clean. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Mr. Robinson the shuttle bus driver took me to the airport at the upmost hospitality he will be the reason I come back to this hotel very very professional also really good driver

Room was clean and comfortable

The room is nice and clean. The bed has a high quality mattress and my room was very spacious. Overall, I feel like the hotel is excellent. Housekeeping staff does a great job of keeping things in order while not interrupting you while you're in your room. The only downside is the dismissive lady at the front desk, so I'll give this 4 stars.

Robinson was an all class shuttle driver to the airport. Couldn’t have had a better experience with him. Restaurant in the hotel Had great burger and there was a nice bed after a stressful layover at the airport.

Without question when it a nicer hotels in Charlotte with a wonderful staff and have to go back to shoot a video as a matter of fact we were given permission to shoot it in their restaurant bar

First I don't agree with any of the reviews prior to what I choose to write now ....my experience words can't touch. Talk about going above and beyond service was impeccable! Mr. Joel treated me like royalty literally from me calling to find out about a security deposit to any open vacancy, to assisting me with my belongings. Bright young man. Welcomed me by remembering my name over the phone and gave me insight on his personal experience with hospitality! Spoke highly of his Assistant G.M Michelle Bynum. Was very patient with me not being sure of my third party payment. His delivery in multi tasking was smooth as Mr. Joel the front desk receptionist took care of a guest checking in before me, answering the phone and acknowledging a GrubHub driver plus the guest who greeted the driver for their food delivery. Mr. Joel is the perfect picture of what excellent service is in person and over the phone!

Great hotel in a good location. I have been staying here for years with no issues

We were in town on account of a family emergency with a family member in the hospital and the staff was very very kind to apply whatever discount they could to make an extended stay more affordable. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also sufficiently disinfected. My only complaint was the floor could have been cleaner.

However, I'd stay here again.

American Airlines put us up in this hotel due to our flight being delayed. We checked in approximately 10pm and left at 8am, so I had a limited experience; but I was impressed with what I did see! 24/7 airport shuttle, very nice and prompt drivers both to and from the airport. Friendly front desk. We got a comfortable, king size bed. Room has a mini fridge and microwave.

Friendly and Professional Staff, room was nice & CLEAN, including the bathroom/shower. Only complaint is the phone system doesn't communicate with the restaurant on 1st floor without dialing outside of the hotel.

The Jamaican restaurant in the plaza to the right of the adjoining parking lot has some absolutely awesome food and for cheap price. Full Jamaican Jerk Chicken meal with side of sauce, cabbage & sausage, and Jerk Chicken over Rice and beans, with side of plantains - $10.00 and I could only eat half there was so much food. 4 pieces of chicken.😎👌

Sucks this hotel is in a ghetto area because it actually offers wonderful service and yes they accept locals! Their rooms are outdated though. Need more charger portals. Not enough lighting in the room, personally! I'd make the rooms more modern!

Robinson drove me to the airport on the shuttle. He is doing a wonderful job and made sure that we got there on time. He was very talkative and nice.

Robinson let me know that I was not going to be late to my flight and calmed me down. He also let us know all about the different amenities at the Clarion

Front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Room has a desk with rolling chair, flat screen tv, and mini fridge. Bathroom is small but adequate. The hotel is connected to the Ramada Plaza on one side, and the Radisson on the other. You can move between the hotels without going outside. The inside courtyard is beautifully decorated for Christmas and the is a view of it from the room. Very happy with my stay, and will stay here again when in town for work.

Robinson greeted us upon checkout and shuttled us to the airport! He guided us through the local restaurants and was very helpful and accommodating. Very friendly and personable. We loved meeting him!

Very friendly evening employees. That was nice since we checked in late at night. We felt very welcomed. Quiet area, nice clean rooms. I loved the granite surround shower.

Rooms are clean. Not smelly or stuffy.

Cleaning crew super nice. Front desk lady was very understanding, we needed to check in alittle bit earlier due to work related issues and she made sure we did.Others would tell you to wait until 3pm🙄🙄🙄.

Ac, hot water, everything was working.

The only thing that makes me give them a 4 star is because while making reservations it was mentioned that they have breakfast. They only have coffee. If you want juice or full breakfast, you have to buy.

Other than that, it’s a nice, clean hotel.

Had a layover in Charlotte and Airline put us up here. We had a great stay. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Robinson, our shuttle driver, in particular was very friendly and helped take our minds of our travel delays.

Enjoyed my two night stay here. Clean and comfortable. Only issue was a sticky spot on the carpet but other than that, it was a good stay. The good thing about this hotel is that they offer a free airport shuttle and extended parking for vehicles while you travel through CLT.

Nice hotel area not real safe watch walking around especially at night

I’m honestly not even sure why this hotel has a lot of negative reviews. Cold AC, hot shower, comfortable beds and pillows. Curtains keep the room dark. Hallway was quiet at night. The hotel doesn’t smell like smoke. Basic amenities. Ice machine worked. We stayed here for 3 nights to do the whitewater rafting center. Our time spent in the hotel was minimal but when we were at the hotel, we didn’t have any complaints. I mean if you’re looking for a resort this isn’t it, but for a good nights sleep on a budget it gets the job done.

Let me just say, the staff at this hotel has been incredible. They have been very helpful and friendly and I always enjoy their service when I stay at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but they could use some updating. Other than slightly dated amenities, I would say this is a great place to stay on a budget as it is certainly going to outperform a motel or anything like that.

The van driver Robinson was really helpful & friendly. Greeted us upon arrival, was very nice and talkative.. Also told us about the restaurant in the hotel. 10/10 recommend

MR. Robinson had great customer service, he mentioned the restaurant in the back of clarion, and also mentioned the free food vouchers that the airport supposed to give. Given that the airport didn’t give them to us as they was supposed to. Real cool dude

The room is very nice, the girl at the front desk was outstanding. BUT the restaurant was awful. The barmaid/ waitress was terrible. We had to get our own menus, took her forever to wait on us. THEN as the chef was dinging his bell that the food was done, she was too busy talking on her phone to get it. Almost got it myself.

The lady at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The server at the restaurant in the hotel was super nice and customer service was on point.

Great nights stay! Efficient and friendly staff, as well as clean and maintained rooms. There were some spots on the door from what looked like coffee but at that point I was just looking for something haha. Would definitely stay again! No continental breakfast though but, that wasn't a deal breaker.

Drivers were amazing getting me to and from airport. Mr.Robison was safe and time efficient getting me to the airport. And his restaurant recommendations were amazing. The rest of the staff was friendly and made sure as a young woman staying by myself I felt safe.
