Due to covid-19, our shuttle has changed to operate from 5AM - midnight, on demand. No shuttle during off hours. Van now holds 5-6 people instead of 11 so please plan accordingly.

Disliked · The rooms are DISGUSTING & smell like cigarettes and cat urine. The first room that they put me in was dirty and never cleaned after the previous guests . The comforter and sheets were both visibly stained and had crumbs in the sheets. There were dirty linens hanging in the shower from the previous guests. I was then switched to another room that reeked of cigarettes and cat urine! I was then switched to ANOTHER room (3rd room at this point) that I thought was a little better until I saw a HUGE cockroach on the floor. When I went to complain one last time and ask for a refund, there was another guest at the front desk complaining about finding a used condom on the floor in their room! This hotel is absolutely HORRIBLE and should be shut down! Definitely not a hotel to bring a child to! (I had my 6 year old son with me) Very traumatizing!

Very rundown. Almost falling apart. Non friendly but not really rude service. Hair all over the room that wasn’t mine. Smelled strongly of marijuana. Obviously this is an issue because there are signs posted in the elevator reminding people it’s illegal. But, my bed was clean and fairly comfy and the air conditioning worked well. I was displaced while trying to get home from traveling and my flights were delayed over and over so I was just desperate for any place to sleep that wasn’t an airport. Don’t stay unless you have to but better than a tent.....maybe.

Starting off this is a motel in the truest sense, anyone expecting it to be the Grand Hyatt needs to re-evaluate their expectations. Like others, this was a last minute booking at 1am after a delayed first flight caused me to missing my connection. The young man working the desk, Terrion, was very personable even at such a late hour and truly went above and beyond to accommodate my friend and myself. Yeah, as soon as you walk in the front door it smells like cigarettes and a couple non threatening addicts going about their business but it was $70 tax included last minute, for me personally I felt it was a deal. Shuttle showed up exactly on time to take us to the airport the next morning, all around I was pleased with the experience as it lessened the inconvenience of a missed flight significantly. Perfect for what it is.

Stayed here despite the bad reviews and we didn't have any of these issues. For the type of hotel this is, this was just about perfect. We paid $84 for a last minute booking when our flight was cancelled. It was 7 minutes from the airport. We didn't catch the shuttle because it was at times that didn't work for us, but our Ubers were super cheap.



The hotel is very outdated and dingy, but not in a way that hindered our stat. Everything was clean and tidy. The woman who booked my room over the phone was so friendly and so nice. The person at the front desk was also pleasant at check in and check out. The room smelled like smoke, in the way that everything smelled like smoke in the 90s. Beds were clean and comfy and the room temperature was nice. Everything was clean, just kind of beat up. We left before breakfast was served so I can't say much else. Don't book this for your vacation unless you know you're barely gonna be in your room, but if you have a delay or cancellation, this is a completely adequate place to stay. Quick, easy, and the staff were the nicest people I spoke to all day.

Had our flight cancelled (which half the airport cancelled everyone’s flights so everywhere was packed and booked) for the very first time after only flying by ourselves 2 times in our life ! The desk person was very accommodating for every. The hotel wasn’t much but the beds were super comfy , clean and nice. The entire hotel could use a upgrade but it did a perfect job of keeping us safe and was very clean. Definitely recommend if you’re trying to get in last minute. They did a great job trying to help everyone knowing the circumstances everyone was going through ! Highly appreciated by many!

I chose excellent because of the lady named Maya who helped us out with our priceline fiasco tonight. She stayed beyond her scheduled shift to see to it that we were taken care of. Her personality was pleasantly infectious and I hope that her manager reads this and gives her a raise! Thanks again, Maya, and the staff of Baymont for all of your help!

The floor was not swept. Behind the bed was piled on dust. I checked for bed bugs and no bed bugs. The shower did not drain. The gym has an elyptical? and treadmill. The breakfast is watered down coffee and a granola bar.the manager and his son who worked there were nice. Overall could be a bit cleaner but it wasn’t disgusting.

I would give it zero stars if I could. First experience…large roach in lobby. Peeling wallpaper, smoky smell throughout hallways. Bed broke in half in the morning! Breakfast advertised….cancelled due to COVID restrictions. Abysmal experience.

I have never written a review before and constantly travel for work, but the service and hotel were so bad I feel morally obligated to let others know.



I had to wait 2 hours for a shuttle from the airport. Called the front desk every 20 minutes and they assured me each time that the driver was on the way... which was a lie. The shuttle only runs once an hour normally too.



The room itself was loud and dirty. There were stains on the towels and sheets, and grime on the walls.



Please do yourself the favor and spend the extra 10-15$ and book a different hotel.

I would give it a -0 worst hotel i stayed at. After American Airlines booked us here due to our flight being delayed. Smelled nasty! Smelled like cigarettes even though the room was smoke free. The carpet was so dirty roaches on the floor. Bed skirt stained with who knows what bed frame broken! Bed comforter dirty. I would not recommend this hotel at all!!!!!!!

Disgusting hotel. Dirty, smells bad, mattress tilting because frames are broken. Stains all over carpeting. Person who checked us in was spitting tobacco in between sentences. American Airlines dumped us here for “free” after they canceled our flight. Cramming 4 of us into two beds because my husband didn’t think it seemed like a safe enough hotel for us to sleep in two separate rooms, each with one child. Gross.

Horrible customer service. I got locked out of my room somehow and had to wait over 30 minutes for a maintenance guy to come let me in. PS there is no air-conditioning in the hallway that I was waiting in. Absolutely terrible. Comfy bed though, that's all I can say.

Very welcoming staff from the initial meeting/encounter. As far as the rooms.. Their beyond decent for the price & expectations. The rooms are cleaned to the best of their abilities(What you can actually see). So if your looking for a great, comfy, quiet(CHEAP=Okay Standards By Definition) then the Baymont is definitely for you!

This place is absolute trash. The people coming and going were trash. The entrance and lobby area smells incredibly terrible like cigarettes. Wasted people coming and going - sketchy payments. Elevator down. Breakfast area down. Common areas unavailable. Roach crawling across the floor. Clean should never be used as a word to describe this place. The entire experience was gross. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My daughter and her boyfriend parked their car here and used the shuttle to the airport. They returned the same day. Their flight was delayed and did not arrive back in Charlotte until after midnight. When they called the hotel they were told they would not be picked up because the driver doesn’t go to the airport after midnight.

I called the hotel and spoke to Tess who refused to give me her full name. She told me that the maintenance guy would go get them and then told me they were just kidding and they both started laughing! I told her that leaving two 18 year olds at the airport after midnight was not funny! She then told me to tell them to get a cab and hung up on me! I will be calling in the morning to talk to the manager, but I feel like I will get nowhere with that.

The receptionist was very polite and helpful when I made the reservation. It was practicing COVID recommendations. The room was bigger than I expected and the king size bed was awesome.

The manager to the hotel is very welcoming she handles all issues immediately and will do anything in her power to make your stay as comfortable as you want it. I enjoyed the housekeepers very friendly and will try there best to not be in your way no rude awakenings like I experienced from alot of hotels. I appreciate there warm hospitality and plan on booking with them in the future.

This is the worst hotel you will ever stay. A person followed me from the lift and to my floor. The receptionist could see that he was acting weird but she did not say anything to him. In the morning she said she would email me my receipt without even checking that she does not have my company email address. When I called back for a simple receipt, the receptionist, showed a lot of tantrum and started arguing. I am still not sure why she was offended when I asked for receipt. This is not the way to treat your guest.

Terrible staff toilets were not working had to moved to another room which smell like it had not be cleaned at all. Would not recommend to stay. Once you arrive at the location you will see why.
