I am beyond impressed with my overall stay here!!! It is very clean and the customer service is simply outstanding!!! The gentleman at the front desk (Ixfan) is AMAZING!!!! Extremely helpful and demonstrates exceptional customer service!!! I have to give a huge shout out to the cleaning lady. I apologize; I don’t know her name but she is the absolute BEST I have ever had in any motel/hotel and I travel a lot. I highly recommend this place!!!! Gold Star!!!!

tIrfan, who works at the front desk, was very helpful, polite, and accommodating. The hotel is a very nice property; has a great breakfast area which you can sit and enjoy eating with your family.

The guestrooms are very nice and have a refrigerator and microwave. The beds are very comfortable and come with four pillows on each bed. It was very nice not to have to ask front desk for more pillows.

My experience with this hotel was wonderful and it is my new favorite hotel. Irfan, is the first person you see when entering the hotel, and is a very nice gentleman who makes you feel safe at hotel.

Sharrae the waitress is awesome. The week specials are great so whether staying at the Ramada or just passing through I highly recommend stoping in for lunch or dinner or a good drink.

Rooms are clean and fresh. The building is under improvement construction at this time of review June 2023. Some areas for m when it was Ramada inn are gross and used but it would s in remodeling so I can't say it is clarion inn itself.

I have stayed for a week or more now for work. I haven't had any problems.

The eastern Indian restaurant is absolutely delicious. Rajiwanda pointe.

This isn't the very fanciest hotel at this time yet but I see there is genuine intention and development to making it a high quality place. At this time I think if it's a budgetable choice, then it's very well may be able worth it.

Many Staff are eastern Indian so if that is a concern for any reason then adjust accordingly. I find the staff kind, helpful and patient. The accent is strong sometimes and English is a second language for some that it may be necessary to be patient if this kind of variable is a factor for you.

It's not the TajMahal so to speak but I sleep like it is. Secure and well thank you.

The rooms are clean and cozy. Very comfortable bed with nice room furniture including desk and relaxed chair. The staff is friendly and accommodating to the needs of customers. The complimentary breakfast provides most common breakfast and the waffles were very delicious. My expectations were met and exceeded fory stay. Irfan helped me checkout and is professional and efficient. Thanks to the staff at Clarion Hotels.

I travel a lot and it’s the people that make this Ramada my choice when I’m in Salt Lake City. Irfan, at the front desk, is a great example. His “service” attitude and ready smile made it a pleasure even when a small problem arose. The remote didn’t work when I arrived but he saw to getting it working within minutes of my report. I also want to mention the folks who work in Amelia’s - the restaurant here. They’re delightful, as is the food!

Thank you all for making my stay a truly pleasant one.

Outdated rooms with limited modern upgrades. Clean and well kept. Fast friendly staff. Great location. If you need a low budget, no frills hotel in Salt Lake City this is the place! Will return when back in the area.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. we had 2 separate reservations, but wanted to be as close together as possible, and they made it happen. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms are well decorated. It was a cool vibe. Good breakfast included. I need a location close to the airport. It was 10 minutes and there was a shuttle included..

I have been staying at this hotel for three weeks now because of training and I must say that it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the host IRFAN is great with a great since of humor. They make you feel like family. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits Salt Lake City Utah. Oh and the rooms are clean and spacious. This is Benjamin room 253.

Will absolutely stay here again!

Irfan works the front desk yet took the time to come fix my TV. Super friendly and helpful staff. I’ve stayed here before and the deposit placed on my card was returned very quickly. Also, the Indian restaurant on site is out of this world good. Enjoy!

We will definitely be coming back here to stay. I was in awe at how absolutely perfect the beds were. 4 perfect pillows to a queen bed. Bathroom was roomy. Shower pressure 10/10 hot water temp from Hades. The room looked and felt clean. The hotel was quiet. The restaurant attached was nice. All the staff we talked were professional and accommodating. The grounds are well kept. There is a gas station next door. Also, the room has real coffee cups!! Which was a first for us. The room was beyond a fair price for the quality of the stay. Would definitely recommend

Great front desk staff, and restaurant staffs as well. We drove 7 hours and made a last minute reservation to arrive at 9:30pm. everyone was warm and welcoming, and it's so easy to check in with clear instructions. The kitchen closes at 9:45pm so we were also able to get some warm and delicious food~ happy and grateful this hotel is here for our cross USA country road trip~

Good price. Clean, comfy room. 2 comfy beds. Good shower. My booking got messed up and the staff were patient with me whilst I got it sorted. Free airport shuttle at 4.45am was a big help. There is an indian restaurant and a bar with bar snacks. Enjoy!

I had parked my car for 3 weeks. When I returned the battery was dead, the shuttle driver John helped me until the car started. Appreciate John's help as it was late night.

Overall the Clarion Inn was a good place to book. It looks like they've been doing some updating so there are areas that are still being worked on. We did have a problem with the first room we were assigned. There appeared to be some fuzz and hair on the comforter. The linens in the bathroom also looked like they hadn't been replaced. We were given another room which looked like it had been cleaned and stocked. A great thing was their morning hot breakfast. There were scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles (make your own!), oatmeal, breakfast cereal, boiled eggs, yogurt, apple/cranberry/orange juice, fresh fruit, bagels and cream cheese, muffins, bread for toast, plus coffee and tea. I thought that maybe during the weekend they would take the hot food out but it will still there! There is a restaurant in the hotel that appears to serve Middle Eastern food. There is also a swimming pool which helps one to cool off after being in the hot Utah sun. They also have a workout room and washer/dryers although I did not use them. Free parking all around the building. No daily charges or in and out charges. Overall it was great value with the amenities provided.

I’m an OTR truck driver and recently stayed here for a couple nights while my truck was in the shop.

While certainly not a high end place it is a great value. All staff I interacted with were very friendly and courteous, my room was clean and the linens were in good shape.

Free breakfast was basic but did have some hot selections.

Overall I would stay here again.

By far the best hotel I've stayed at in its price range. The breakfast dining area is super spacious and has booths and is well-decorated. There's a more full kitchenette than the standard mini fridge and microwave. Rooms were clean with plenty of towels. We end up in the area often, so we will be staying here again.

Note: other reviews mention the renovations. We had NO ISSUES with the room smelling bad, key cards, or any of that. There is one point by the main desk where we walked on subfloor for about 5 yards but that's it.

It carries of traits what you expect of Ramada. Facility, staff, pool, gym, wifi, cafeteria. A well built place near the Airport in Salt Lake City, this place is good for commuters, travelers who are visiting town, hopping rides to go to places or looking for a decent stay option. Staff is courteous and service is quick. I went their as part of group of 40 people and arrangement was spot on. Registration and keys took 10 mins and we were on way to comfortable bed :).

The room smelled, and it was nothing fancy, but it was sufficient. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast. Great self-serve waffles! And the eggs and sausage were fresh and hot!

Rizwan was so kind at check out, and, Rohith was the perfect host while checking in. The rooms are big. I loved having a full refrigerator and kitchen

My only real disappointment was my app said the pool would be open, and when I went out to use it, the gate was locked, the pool was almost empty and I was extremely disappointed. The room seemed to have an odd smell when I first enter, but it quickly faded and was quite comfortable. Nice bed, I slept great.

On an even better note, the waffle maker at breakfast was different than any I've seen. I could easly just do one section. Made for a great small portion. Nice!

Nice over-night stay!

The public areas are a little dated or damaged, but the room was clean and newer looking. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had all the expected amenities.

The breakfast had a great spread. There were eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins and all the cereals, drinks, and so much more.

The front staff was very professional, kind, and helpful.

The shuttle picks you up from the airport and can bring you back. The driver was kind and made me feel comfortable.

All in all, I would stay here again. It could use aesthetic updates, and really, that's all it needs. They're doing a great job in all the other areas.

Very close to the airport, nice big bed, large room with a refrigerator and microwave in the room! The bathroom what spacious with a nice sized counter toiletries.

The facility is definitely older and you can tell they've been working on remodeling slowly but surely. The carpet in the hallway is definitely worn and tattered, but the walls are painted freshly and the floors in the rooms appear new as well as the countertops. The heat and air conditioning worked great in the room, it is a very large inn and I had quite a walk to get to my room without a luggage cart. Breakfast was nice with a restaurant style seating area available where people could spread out and have space to themselves. The front desk attendees were very helpful and efficient although not overly friendly.

The shuttle runs about once an hour and needs to be reserved in advance, if I took an Uber to get to the hotel and to get to the airport, so the savings I thought I would get by staying there were not as good as I thought. I only needed to sleep here and eat breakfast, so it worked out for me but I don't think I would stay here for longer periods of time.

Overall, the value is good for the price charged.

We arrived in Salt Lake City on an impromptu visit to see my little brother on a Friday night around midnight. The hotel booking sites only offered reservation check-in at 3:00pm. So we went to several hotels for a room, but it seemed like every where we went no rooms available. We noticed after a few stops the same couples and familys were getting turned away too. My son suggested to try the Ramada airport. We had stayed there before. Thinking as I got out of the car to go in and ask for a room just to get turned away again. The kind night desk clerk cheerfully said Yes there's a room available. We needed two nights. He was able to accommodate. Our stay was comfortable and safe. The generosity and courtesy of the staff was very appreciated. Thank you

For the price, which is very reasonable for this day and age, the rooms were fine. We had a studio with kitchen. However, there were no pans or equipment or dishware to cook or eat with like other studios we've rented, so make sure to bring your own. We couldn't get the TV to work and they sent someone up immediately to deal with it. Rohith and all the staff were very friendly, welcoming, professional, and quick to fix any issue or answer questions.

A very nice I-80 hotel. Nice room. Friendly staff. And the restaurant was wonderful. I'm from New Orleans and they met our great food standards. Coronavirus safe. Got snowed in there, gained 3 lbs eating. Good place to get snowed in. LOL

I stayed here on my drive back to my home. The facilities they have are great for the price you pay. I needed a room close to the lobby as I can't walk well. The young lady had a great smile and she took an effort to check all the rooms she had available and gave me a room close to lobby. They also had FREE breakfast in the morning which I thought would be coffee and some baked goods but instead I got eggs, sausage, apple. They also had waffles available. The breakfast attendant took really good care of me and brought me a plate when he noticed I was not able to walk good. The rooms are great as well. But the staff is very courteous and helpful. If I ever go back to Salt Lake, this is where I will be staying for sure!

Kudos to the front desk clerk for being fantastic to work with. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable. There was a little noise from the airport and the highway, but nothing that disrupted our sleep. The hot breakfast was great. There is no elevator, but only two floors, so that's not bad for those who are able. All in all, I still give it 5 stars.

Not sure why people are complaining so much. If you're that spoiled that you're complaining about a 70 dollar (or less) room, you've got some serious entitlement problems.

Hotel was clean and not filthy like other reviews state. Room was one of the cheapest in the entire city for the night I looked. Free breakfast was good. Staff was friendly enough. Zero complaints for a 70 dollar stay.

Sure, it wasn't a five star pampered experience but for the price was a great deal.

Allegedly pet friendly so I book a hotel in a nicer room, the website says pet friendly so awesome! We can bring the puppet, but no end up going through this whole hassle and get seriously downgraded. Same price but far from the same room. Other than that it wasn't too bad.

This was a great little place for the night. If you’re looking for a clean place to rest and a good breakfast in the morning this is a great option. They are currently renovating so it isn’t all put together quite yet (the hall doesn’t have flooring everywhere yet, so you’ll walk on subfloor for a minute), but they totally get an A for effort. The breakfast was more than I expected. The waffles were excellent. They had good variety and everything was clean. It has a “family owned” feel. It was perfect for what we needed. I gave it 4 stars because I don’t think that people would say that it was “a 5 star experience” due to the renovations not being complete. But they are on their way.

We were stuck in salt lake with no where to go. We went to Clarions seeing that the reviews said it was clean and the staff were nice. We were welcomed warmly by the front door staff, reassured that the back doors were locked and that the guard was watching the front. As two women traveling, that was very good to hear. We got up to our room, our only complaint was that the door key reader was a little finicky, but we got in no trouble. Thank you guys for making us feel safe and comfortable!

Yes the hotel is an old building. However the staff seems to be trying their best with what they have to deal with. Paying $60 for 1 night stay was totally worth it. Mira at the desk was just amazing! She helped us with an early check-in. The housekeeping staff was wonderful and had my room clean out early so I could check in. Really good staff and service. Normally any hotel just asks to wait till the check-in time even when they might have rooms available. It made me feel very special. The hotel room was just like any other average hotel you would stay at. The pool was closed but that is to be expected. Breakfast was just Jimmy dean sandwich and orange juice which was free, but then considering the rate, that was good as well.

Awesome staff. Wonderful man who checked us in was very kind and friendly.

At the bar, the tender happily filled our order of 4 shots each. We ordered dressed fries, Delicious.

We later returned for another 5 shots each and enjoyed a game if pool.

We'll return there again and again.

Everything was great during my stay. I have stayed here before but this time I was given a room which was renovated with new curtains and I am really glad that I chose to go back and stay here. The grill had wonderful choice of food and the front desk was really on top of everything!
