I booked this hotel to stay for a few days, I must say that I was very disappointed. It smelled really bad from the time I walked in the door. The breakfast the said they offered was none. The coffee had spoiled cream with chucks in it. The mattress and bathroom door had dry blood stains on it. It had to go and buy my own cleaning supplies to clean the room. I only stood there for a couple of days until I found a next hotel. The door to room did not closed flush, you could see the sunlight shine through it. I knew it was not a five star hotel when I booked it, but you should feel safe and I didn’t. Would never book at that hotel again!!! Staff had an ok attitude, check in was at 3 didn’t get my room after 3:30 although I was there early to check in because I was flying in from an another state. It looked like it had a bunch of homeless people staying there as well.
the hotel isn't half bad considering the area that it's located in. They are trying their best to make a few renovations here in there which is greatly appreciated considering what it used to be. I do appreciate the staff helping me
The rooms here are disgusting. a roach ran into my room. The bathroom is actually surprisingly clean. It is a quick place to stop at not really to stay.
Great room for a great price minutes from the airport! Staff was welcoming and friendly even during covid chaos. Kristen at the front desk was a gem.
The lady up front was not only unprofessional, rude, and beyond nosey (all cause she THOUGHT I wasn’t of age to buy a room) but after the company I was there with found bed bugs.. she refunded their money but wouldn’t refund mine. Then her and her manager proceeded to kick me off the property because I told the next customer that walked in about their problem && after asking me to leave the property they STILL didn’t refund me for the cost of my room. Now mind you I never slept in the room and I was only in it for a total of 30 minutes before the company i was there with told me they found bugs in their room.. I stayed respectful and let y’all enjoy that little extra money because it wasn’t worth fighting with an immature GIRL 😘
Let me start by thanking you for the nicest, patient, professional front counter personnel and security officer I have ever encountered at a Quality Inn.
That said... we had to change 2 out 3 rooms due to issues
#1 had that dirtiest looking bathtub (see pics)
#2 had a water leak... thankfully no one hurt themselves (see pics)
There was no breakfast, only coffee. I didn't expect a hot breakfast (during these times) but at least fruits, yogurt? There was nothing other than coffee, which is a communal thing.
Always love staying here. Sabrina is always helpful and friendly when I check in
It has seen better days; however, noticed outside improvements are being made. Parking lot very clean adjacent to Cracker Barrel. Inside comfortable mattress clean as common area can get but dirty worn out carpet. Super clean bathrooms, Nice tv, and plenty of charging stations. Appears in recent past upgrades were done to rooms. Staff is awesome and warm welcome and everyone incl. Nice cleaning people caters to customers needs. Quiet and respected onsite.
I stayed there for 5 nights and had nothing less of a great stay. The room was very clean. Sabrina at the front desk was amazing! She was attentive, positive, and extremely helpful. She genuinely seemed like she cared about every guest who walked through the door. I will 100% be staying there again when I travel back out that way.
The large heavy black girl at the front desk has a very terrible attitude problem. Very ignorant, rude and disrespectful and only has the job so she can get her hair and nails done. Must be all she can afford each week is her minimal salary. Maybe if she ate healthier food choices, she wouldn't be so disgruntled. Perhaps the encounter with her was close to her feeding time? If she worked at a restaurant instead of a hotel, maybe she would be happier nibbling off of people's plates.
Not bad for the price and proximity to the airport but it's about what you'd expect. Bonus, it is next to a cracker barrel and the rooms are in good shape. Staff don't seem too happy to be there but they do serve breakfast, have a treadmill to get a run in on, clean rooms and not a bad place to lay your head.
The staff is very untrained in customer service. Our flight got canceled due to weather and we were stranded for 2 days. Asked if we could get a shuttle to a restaurant 4 miles away. The response was it depends on the drivers mood. We then received a call to our room saying no we can’t help you. All of this after we were handed a plunger because their toilet didn’t work from the moment we checked in. Wouldn’t recommend it at all. So much for southern hospitality.
Very nice and clean hotel. Desk worker was very nice and helpful. They have an awesome hot breakfast and it was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. I highly recommend staying there.
We always choose this place when we travel. The desk clerks are pleasant, if you have questions on where to find good food, or sites to see they are very knowledgeable. It's neat and clean, and has an outside swimming pool.
Cheap and clean hotel for a great price. The room smelled clean and had clean sheets. Bathrooms were clean as well overall a decent place for the money.
Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Locals can help you locate pretty much anything you need, but it costs.
It appears clean inside but dont let it fool you! I inspect any room I ever stay. I lift mattresses up check draws and all the other stuff. But you're sleeping with the cockroaches if you stay there. And they definitely didn't seem to care when informed of their cockroach issue. If you can spend the extra money and stay some where else.
I had a horrible experience here. The rooms are DISGUSTING. I had dead bugs smushed all over the walls, bugs were crawling out of the walls and bed, the door wouldn’t shut all the way, and almost every electrical socket was falling out of the wall. The service was adequate until I had requested a refund because there was “no proof” that I hadn’t used the room, regardless of the fact that there were bugs crawling out of my bed! Once I shared with others in the area where I had reservations, people quickly told me to not stay there, that it is “transitional housing for homeless.” I didn’t feel safe in the short period time I was there.
Close to I-85, clean, staff was friendly & courteous, and the room was a decent price. It’s a good layover hotel. Snacks were available at the front desk. Breakfast was standard for Choice Hotels. There’s an Cracker Barrel Old Country store and a Exxon Gas Station that sells fried chicken next to the hotel. Warning a lot of restaurants refused to deliver there? You make your own opinion on that!
While on my way to Florida from Pennsylvania with my boyfriend, we blew a tire in Virginia on the way to the hotel. We ended up getting to the hotel at 6am, and because we left at 11:30am, they prorated our room. The woman at the front desk (I didn’t catch her name), was very nice and welcoming. Around 8am I went downstairs for breakfast and was immediately greeted by Sabrina, who was the morning shift for the front desk. She was very nice, very friendly, and even complimented my shoes lol. As someone that has worked in the hospitality profession, I can fully attest that the employees at this hotel are top tier. The breakfast was expected for the hotel; bagels, waffle press, muffins, etc. I opted for a bagel, which was fresh and delicious, and the coffee is always good. The room had an odd smell, but honestly, I’ve never been to hotel that didn’t. The room itself, sinks, shower, etc. were all very clean. I saw a few reviews regarding cockroaches, after I had already booked the room, so I kept an eye open, but didn’t see any. I even brought up some bakery items for when my boyfriend woke up, and there wasn’t a single roach in sight. Our experience was very good, and I’d recommend it.
Price online said roughly 70 dollars and I got there, the price was crossed out and I was charged 99$. Had to get my room changed at 2am because there was roaches in my room on the first floor. (I have pictures but can not attach them to this review for some reason) Was not offered reimbursement or refund, but it was disgusting, and there were dead ones in the room also. Stains on the bed. Room reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. Would not come here again. The only reason why I put two stars is most of the staff was relatively nice and not rude.
All the rooms smelled very moldy. I'm guessing because of the lack of fans in bathrooms. Looks redone but definitely an older place. Staff is great and wonderful from front desk to cleaning people but the first room we had the tub was too rusty and worn to bathe baby so we switched rooms with some adult family members. Breakfast standard. *** I wouldn't suggest walking over to gas station after dark, lots of wonderers up to no good hanging around. Location isn't great unless you wanna eat at a cracker barrel. Family members said pool was nice.

Was not the same as it looks online rooms are so outdated everything and mold and mildew smell need to replace curtains new paint job with accent wall but had the paint all on other wall! Used a family discount and found out it really wasn't a discount. They had roaches inside the room and outside and toilet runs all night was supposed to get refund never got it. So the front desk girl lied to my face. Sent email and no response please do not stay there . Also looks like people working if you know what I mean. Was wondering why everyone was in the lobby cause that's probably the best place to be. Gonna try to call Corporate will update how that goes.
