We arrived at 1am after our much delayed flight landed and we were stuck having missed our connection. On top of that our bags didn’t make it too. The staff was very accommodating. They gave the kids a complimentary snack. Kids left their backpacks in the lobby while checking in. Mr Jimmy brought them up and got us 4 toothbrushes and toothpaste too. Got a good albeit short night sleep and had a good breakfast in the cafe. Very polite and friendly staff. A ray of sunshine in a long and terrible day of travel. Thank you!!
Room is okay, nice balconies in the rooms. Clean and spacious. The set breakfast is bad and the bar food is also bad. I think the courtyard chain should have better restaurants and breakfast bars, the built in Starbucks just let the place down. A shame really, ill be avoiding courtyards in the future. Everytime I stay at one I regret it.
Hotel is nice. The Bistro however...the people don't want to be there, the food is not great, it's slow to come out, and then it's burned. Staff made no apologies. Close the Bistro if you don't want to run a restaurant. The shuttle drivers went out of their way to accommodate our needs; drove us to the airport and some short shopping trips. The desk clerks were also very helpful and friendly. Only one star on the Bistro...everyone else pulled my rating up to 4-stars.
I utilize Marriott properties by preference. Generally, the properties are well maintained. superior customer service and all the amenities. This stay was very different.
My interaction with the front desk representatives was very disappointing. During check-in (in my opinion) I do not like how I was communicated with and how I felt as a result of the communications. During check-out and inquiries as to why breakfast was not available. (in my opinion) I received a less than positive response and interaction.
Breakfast was scheduled from 6:30am to 9:30am. I waited from 6:30 to approximately 6:42 before I seen anyone from.the Bistro. At that point he began counting change in the cash drawer without acknowledging my presents.
Very disappointed. FYI. The facilities were excellent!!!
What has happened to customer service????
Nice and clean and had a quiet night's sleep, even being right next to the airport. Staff was friendly, and even though the property was probably on the older side, it has been renovated properly at some point. The shower especially was nice and spacious. Felt more upscale than I expected. There is also a bistro and bar area available.
