The airport is very nice and small, you can find your way around easily. The TSA lines are so short because the airport isn’t very big. With only 26 gates you can find anything in the airport with ease. The airport is great for plane spotting as it is small!

Monica Lewis at the Southwest desk it just amazing! Customer service skills are second to none! When I called Southwest to change a ticket for my daughter because I’ve made a mistake a customer care person on the phone wanted to charge me $310 not Monica she helped us out! Put my daughter on standby we were able to make our trip without any extra cost. What a great gal you have working for you.

I spent 36 hours there, due to the fact that I was a Stand By passenger and all the flights out were fully booked (The Eclipse solar event). The only issue I had with the Airport is that it's a "Cashless" facility. I didn't like that there wasn't one place that I could go to without a credit/debit card. Other than that it was a great Airport, particularly "The Market @ Elmwood". Excellent service and staff. It made my unexpected delay there enjoyable. It's the "Cashless" Airport policy that keeps me from giving a 5 Star rating.

Went during the off season they say, but still had a great visit. Loved the Niagara falls, an easy walk over to 🍁 Canada across the rainbow Bridge. Just remember to have your passport. Had an awesome dinner at Wine on 3rd street, and stayed at the Sheraton on 3rd also. There's a Starbucks and a rainforest Cafe, but also don't overlook there bar which also serves food.

International airport, but pretty small, and not very busy. People obviously come through the hub to get to Niagara Falls. Liked that car rental is right outside of baggage claim. Quick walk. Restaurants are limited, but all the gates are easy to get to within minutes.

The airport is clean and organized, and it is very easy to work your way through security check. I am very impressed with how friendly all the staff and everyone I met at this airport was.

Absolutely love this airport! Always seems to be clean, easy parking, easy to retrieve luggage. It's nice and bright, not too large that you feel exhausted by the time you reach your gate either.
Recommend this highly to any Canadians that are looking for cheaper flights to US destinations.

This is the most customer friendly big city airport. Very bright, cheerful and efficient. I'm a very nervous passenger and I calmed down at the ticket counter when I saw the smile of the ticket agent. It's always a positive experience at BUF.

Car rental return is conveniently in the parking lot right across the airport with a short walking distance to the terminal. Security lines were super long at early hours. Airport is clean. Restaurants and shops are opened before 5am which is super awesome. It offers nice comfortable benches at gates.

It's an airport I appreciate for not being busy all the time. Upon arrival at Buffalo International Airport, you can exit very quickly. There are two different exits, one upstairs and one downstairs, depending on which airline you use.
The security machines for bags and belongings are impressive, resembling a spaceship. Again, due to its lack of busyness, there's usually not a big line to go through.
The building has a distinctive architectural style. However, remember that they don't have any shops to grab a bite before security. You can buy some items from vending machines and heat them up in the microwave.
There is a barber shop in the airport.
Additionally, there are many Buffalo statues welcoming visitors to the airport when arriving by car or bus.

Excellent Clean Airport and Great Staff!
I dropped my car off in a lot during a blizzard and had an easy time getting through security, a bite to eat and the plane was just slightly delayed. That was amazing because there was a whiteout outside the window of the terminal. Upon arrival, I forgot where I parked my car. The economy lot driver, Ricky, went above and beyond to find my missing parked vehicle. He was so calm and confident. All I had to show him, was a blurry photo of an area I parked in during a blizzard, and he managed to figure it out and made me and my family incredibly happy! He is truly kind hearted and passionate about helping people!! I will always use this airport because people like Ricky make traveling a wonderful experience.

Buffalo Niagara is a nice airport to fly in and out of the northeast.
The terminal is comfortable with a few nice restaurants and fast food places. Unfortunately, it appears that the fast food places haven't reopened due to COVID-19.

We took out family in April, to California for our 50th Anniversary. Left from Buffalo Airport to go to LAX. The parking was close, airport was immaculate, wait times were quick, easy access. No hassels or delays with any part of our departure or return. The restaurants & play areas were perfect for us all while we waited to depart. Our daughter met us right in the airport when we returned home.We live in Ontario & it was certainly worth the trip to fly out of Buffalo. Highly recommend this airport.

Small but wonderful airport. Parking was easy and it was a short walk to the gate. There were not many shops but they had THE anchor bar to have buffalo wings before the flight. Airport was clean and well maintained.
