I wish I could give this zero stars. This has been the worst experience ever. I have been a guest here for 5 day's now. They wouldn't clean my room, and the two front desk ladies were extremely unprofessional and rude. Then my keys wouldn't work and the customer service behind that issue was unbelievable. We are dealing with Covid and for the staff to not even clean is ridiculous. I have been staying in hotels during this whole Pandemic and this is the first time this has ever happened. Also to know that the manager Jessie was 1 of the staff members that were not truthful about the house keeping is alarming. Why would the Doubletree even be opened if they are not able to provide cleaning.
DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL. BBB and the health department should know about this. This hotel has to be looked into.

It was a pretty good experience... My only complaint is I don't knows why there wasn't a shower curtain in our bathroom... So that was the only problem I had...

First time In richmond was visiting my dad and step mom but I booked me a room because their in the military and tree very strict . But This doubletree location is awful pool closed restaurant closed gym closed due to covid-19 some young kids was having a loud party next to my room it was so difficult to sleep I could smell the pot in the hallway cookies never fresh always harder than a rock elevator looks like it belongs in the red roof or motel 6 somewhere front desk and housekeepers where very sweet and helpful found bugs in my room (1 beetle and 4 lady bugs) a/c unit louder than a Yamaha bike doing doughnuts in the middle of the street had to leave in the middle of the night to go stay with a relative close by I will never stay at this location Ever again

Many amenities are closed including the pool and restaurant. Rooms are clean, masks required in public areas. Muffins and water available for breakfast.

First time I said the Doubletree was off Chesapeake Boulevard after my boyfriend passed away and they were so nice to me and gave me a free breakfast every morning of my stay. perfect place to stay

The Doubltree has been the best hotel I have stayed in while visiting Richmond. The attendant at the front counter was incredible. I needed copies of very important documents and she took care of it immediately. I needed a screwdriver to fix something on my daughter's vehicle and she didn't hesitate to get it for me. Incredible hospitality. I will be back.
