DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond Airport (RIC)

Our family checked in for basketball all-star weekend with strive for perfection. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the customer service was excellent. Semeatria at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the area for shopping and restaurants and Mel (housekeeping) not sure his position but he was very friendly and was able to help us out with direction ect. These two employees went above and beyond for my family during our stay they are great employees, and we need more kind people in the world like Ms. Semeatria and Mr.Mel. The location was great as well, wawa and sheetz right next door and shopping center 5mins away. Only downside was my mom didn't like hearing the airplanes at night. The fresh warm cookies are the best.

Right around the corner from the airport, hotel looks newly renovated. One of the smaller doubletrees but still very good staff was friendly and had a good breakfast option. Several gas stations right around the corner with additional food and drink options. Couple miles away many more options to eat.

Overall stay was great. Room was very nice No complaints. Still no restaurant services right now. But there are many restaurants in a short driving distance.

First and foremost the staff was excellent. A few hickups...TV technology, a window water leak, a broken desk drawer, a missed room servicing. However, this staff made the stay wonderful by doing everything to accomodate these items. I would stay at this location. Exceptionally clean. 👍🏽

Had to ask for a hair dryer. Was not one in the room. Other than that it's a good place.

Whooshing of the hvac sent me to dreamland. Clean. Minor airport noise before and after sleep hours

Convenient to the airport with free shuttle. Rooms are fine. A decent choice.

Clean, comfortable and convenient! Great customer service from front desk and bistro staff. After a long work day, I was able to check in on the app, head straight to a clean comfortable room. Very close to airport, gas station and restaurants. No complaints

I was prepared to give 5 stars. Our first two days were perfect. The shuttle driver was amazing. Sherry, Meka and Maria were lovely, professional and helpful. There was no hairdryer in the room and Sherry searched the hotel to find one. Meka was charming and delightful. Maria helped us get items for the room. Our only issue was the bartender who was chatting with two people and never bother to even acknowledge us for 10 minutes. She finally dumped two menus and left for another 10 minutes. We’re finally left.

We had a 7:30 flight the last morning so I came to the desk to check out at 6:51. I told the receptionist we needed a shuttle and he said it would come at 6:00. I told him we were going to run by the breakfast area and grab coffee and a quick bite. I walked over at 6:56. I set my purse down, spooned some oatmeal into a bowl. Suddenly the cook came out and went ballistic because it was 6:57 and not 6:00! She glared and me and told me to get out. She was rude and condescending. She let me know she did not care about my flight. I left with the one scoop of oatmeal and paid $6.00 for it. I was at the foot for the shuttle at 6:00 but there was no shuttle. The receptionist told us that he would be there at 6:30, not 6:00. So we waiting another 30 minutes. The chef from the breakfast walked past us and sneered, blurting “Good morning….. AGAIN!” Sue never said it before so I don’t know why she said “AGAIN”. She then went inside and began to gossip about us entering her restaurant 3 minutes early. She didn’t know we could hear her.

Thank goodness the shuttle driver arrived and was very kind.

I have never life been treated so rudely by anyone. Especially for arriving 3 minutes early.

I can never return to this hotel even though I fly to Richmond often.

They're advertising a continental breakfast and handing out muffins for breakfast. I don't think that's very honest, but comfortable stay overall

This hotel had decent updates. The bathrooms were updated and modern. The beds were soft and the chair wasn't bad either. While the rooms aren't huge, they situated everything nicely. The bar area is decent and the bartender, Barbara, is entertaining. Parking can be a bit rough as there are four hotels sharing the same space.

I really did enjoy my stay and the staff was very courteous. When I needed extra towels. It was taken care of with respect and dignity.

Great stay. The rooms are fresh, updated, and clean. Right next to RIC with a 5 minute Uber to the airport.

Hotel was clean. I felt safe. Masks and social distancing enforced. Prices reasonable. I would stay there again if needed.

The Doubltree has been the best hotel I have stayed in while visiting Richmond. The attendant at the front counter was incredible. I needed copies of very important documents and she took care of it immediately. I needed a screwdriver to fix something on my daughter's vehicle and she didn't hesitate to get it for me. Incredible hospitality. I will be back.

Many amenities are closed including the pool and restaurant. Rooms are clean, masks required in public areas. Muffins and water available for breakfast.

This is an airport-based location, so I didn't have high expectations, but this DoubleTree turned out to be a great experience. We hosted a weekend reunion of WW2 veterans and their families in this facility. They were able to structure their facilities to fit our needs perfectly, they provided meals that all got very positive reviews, and the staff was superb. Everybody we interacted with - from sales to kitchen staff to front desk and housekeeping - was upbeat, friendly, welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this facility.

First time I said the Doubletree was off Chesapeake Boulevard after my boyfriend passed away and they were so nice to me and gave me a free breakfast every morning of my stay. perfect place to stay

Had a wonderful stay T the Hilton our waitress was amazing she was the bartender as well. She really made our experience there feel cozy like we were home....

This is an excellent location. The staff is friendly and professional. There is also a nice food store on site along with a bar and restaurant. The bar and restaurant was closed this trip due to covid though.

Front desk staff very friendly and professional. Rooms are gorgeous! Needs some work with housekeeping, toilet and check out is at 11am not 10am, when a housekeeper came in the room. But other than that it's was great

Room is clean, lobby is bit bare/old looking and could use some updating but im not there for the lobby! Also like that they have digital door keys so its a 4.5 of 5 but cant do that on google!

Staff are amazingly helpful ! The hotel itself is a little shabby and could use a little revamp but our stay was very pleasant.

It was a pretty good experience... My only complaint is I don't knows why there wasn't a shower curtain in our bathroom... So that was the only problem I had...

Overall the stay was good. A few things to highlight are; when booking the room through the Hilton app it said that room service was available when it wasn't. It needs to be updated so guests aren't misinformed. Because of the location you will hear the planes flying pretty close by and the noise might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. The room was clean and it smelled good though so kudos to housekeeping. Landscaping and maintenance of the building overall seemed up to date which is highly appreciated.

The staff is professional and courteous.The lobby was clean. Breakfast was pricey and they have a good selection of food items. My room was spacious clean and in need of repairs. Price of the room was good.

The Doubletree Hotel at the Richmond Airport (445 International Center Drive) is a nice new hotel which is very clean and nicely decorated. Most importantly, the staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and helpful.

Great location! Very close to the airport, shopping, and entertainment. Free Parking. The staff was great and very attentive. I brought my family while I attended business meetings throughout the week and they had a great experience. The staff recommended nice attractions and dining options. We definitely highly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond Airport.

This is honestly my first good experience with a Doubletree. Staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I'd absolutely stay again the next time I come to Richmond.

Comfy bed, pillows a little flat but some people would like that. Friendly helpful staff.

We just parked our car here and shuttled to the airport for less than it costs to park at RIC. Good deal!

In best of my knowledge, this hotel is very much safe location, easy to find park infront the hotel, nice fitness room, friendly customer service. Hopefully, I will go back to Richmond with my family & visit this mom again.

Good hotel and great staff. It's a little loud due to the airport, but that's the cost for convenience of being close to the airport. Also a ton better than a lot of hotels in the greater Richmond area. Super close to WAWA for food and gas.

Very clean rooms and common areas. Restaurant around the corner and food available in the hotel. Right around corner from the airport. Right in the flight path but not very noticable.

Nice hotel, comfortable beds, friendly staff, make-up mirrors, would definitely stay there again.

Had to travel for work and it was my first time staying at this particular hotel. The staff was amazing and welcoming! The room was clean and spacious.



Unfortunately, as to be expected there were very limited food options available outside of water, soda, wine and candy bars at the little bistro but I do understand the current environment we are in but additional prepacked items would have been more beneficial than having none at all.

A really nice stay. The rooms are well decorated and tastefully laid out. The bed is super comfortable! More importantly, the staff is friendly and helpful and the shuttle driver is fantastic. If you've got an early flight then come here to grab a little shut-eye before you head out.

This is my second time staying here, and it’s a very decent hotel. Not as extravagant as your normal Doubletree but it definitely isn’t the red roof 😂.



If the rooms had a more modern appeal like the lobby of the hotel I believe I would have given it a 5 but the rooms have a early 2010’s feel to it.

If you have a larger vehicle like a Tour Bus or a RV you’ll have more than enough parking spots.

3 Star Property for sure, not far from 4 ⭐️

A large airline screwed up quite badly, this is what had caused us to have to get a hotel. At 2am we called and spoke with Angel, it was like it was meant to be. She was the kindest, most caring person we’ve met that day and was willing to go above and beyond. She helped us out with our toddler and was just phenomenal. Another person assisted us in the morning at the buffet and also went above and beyond, unfortunately we did not get her name. The customer service was amazing and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My room was very clean the bathroom was beautiful and the tv and bed was perfect for me I stayed an extra day

Very clean, door to room is sealed to let you know room has been sanitized before you enter. Staff are professional and friendly. Very exceptional place to stay next to Richmond Airport. Plus there are rides to Airport.

I booked a room for 1 night here and felt the hotel was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, great desk/chair set up for morning emails, and the breakfast downstairs was awesome. It costs a few bucks but more than worth it. What made my day was the friendly breakfast staff. Nothing but good vibes and energy.

Due to the awesome servers Meka, Shameka, and the chef Maxine I will be staying here again when working in Richmond area.

Almost forgot, the front desk hooks you up with amazing cookies and bottled water at check-in. Nice touch.
