The High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia is one of America’s leading art museums. High Museum of Art Tickets
General admission at The High costs $16.50, and you can purchase tickets through the High Museum of Art website. Veterans, active-duty, reserves, and retired members of the US Armed Forces (with a valid ID), children under six, and members enjoy free admission. The High members also receive discounts on dining and shopping and free access to lectures and programs. Yearly memberships start at $83 for individuals.
Same-day re-entry is allowed for all museum visitors. Tickets are valid from the printed entrance time through the end of operating hours on the day of your visit. We recommend dedicating at least two or three hours to seeing the entire collection.
Parking at the High Museum of Art
The High does not have its own parking structure but it shares a garage parking facility with Woodruff Arts Center. The Woodruff Arts Center parking garage is located on Arts Center Way, just a two-minute walk from the museum. If you’re driving an oversized vehicle, note that the clearance is 8’2″.

While the museum’s hours are subject to change, the garage is open Monday to Friday until 5 PM. The High members enjoy free parking during museum hours upon showing their member card or digital card. Non-members pay an $18 daily rate Monday through Friday after 5 PM and on weekends, while the weekday fees are in the list below.

Where To Find Street Parking Around the Art Museum
If you’re looking for the High Museum of Art free parking, consider the metered spaces located on Peachtree Road. Meters are in effect Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 10 PM, with a rate of $2 per hour and a maximum time limit of four hours. Free two-hour parking is offered on Sundays. Always read parking signs and pay attention to the time limit on your meter to avoid incurring an Atlanta parking ticket.
Alternative Transportation Options
If you’re looking to skip parking entirely, you can take the train or bus to The High. MARTA, a transit rail system, can take you throughout the city. The museum is located directly in front of the MARTA Arts Center Station (N5). Signs leading to the museum are posted all over the top level, and the fare is $2.50. You must purchase a Breeze card or ticket. A reusable card is $2, while a Breeze ticket costs $1 and is for single use only.
