Everyone we encountered who worked for the hotel was exceptional. The service and commitment was outstanding. Our experience was such that we will make a recommendation to use this hotel for our conventions in the future. The hotel was just the right size for our convention.
This is a nice hotel, but there is a big caveat to that - the room I had (and several other's I believe) do not have windows that face outside. The hotel is shaped as such that my room's window faced an interior hallway. That meant 1), it had to be fully closed at night, if I didn't want people looking in as they walked by, and 2) I couldn't awake to natural sunlight. So at at 9am the room is pitch black because of the curtain. I booked through Priceline, and I didn't read anything about this, and the front desk person didn't notify me of it, so apparently it's normal? As much as the inside pool was nice, the lack of a real window is just too much of a negative in my opinion to return. Advice to management - either notify people of this before they book, or 2) advise them of this when they check in and offer to switch rooms. Also, apparently there was breakfast served? The front desk person didn't notify me of that either. For the record, I am not someone who normally complains, I was just very underwhelmed by this visit.
The staff is tops. The rooms are swell the pool is great. Had a couple of issues with the fire alarm going off while I was sleeping. I would definitely come back
Great hotel at a fair price. Didnt have a breakfast buffet but did have a grab and go with burritos, sandwiches and other breakfast items. Great indoor pool and nice staff.
No hotel shuttle. No one tells you. It’s still advertised on the site. So be prepared to pay to and from the airport. 22$ each way in a cab. Maybe let people know you don’t have a shuttle running due to Covid in June of 2021.
Great place to stay, just needed to vacuum halls this time. There was bacon in the floor our whole 3 night stay by the stairs. Also. open the restaurant BACK UP!!!
Hotel is nice! I like the fact that there's a pool that is inside. They got pool tables and other business amenities. The room was nice they changed my sheets even though I was there for two days upon my request.
Friendly staff. Clean room. Halls could have used a vacuum run across them. Big pool. Overall enjoyable stay. Would stay here again.
We got set up in a room. With points from my wife’s account. The air conditioning unit didn’t work the room shouldn’t have been given to us. The night desk lady told us if we got uncomfortable we could be moved. We had already settled in it was late we figured it would work for one night. We were uncomfortable. The maintenance man came in the morning he said we should have been moved. We just wanted to get a room that had the services we needed. We were eventually moved the following day after we finished with what we needed and came back to the hotel.
Wish it was in a bigger space, but Beautiful energy and wonderful vendors. The art and inventory are astonishing. Can't wait for next year
Place underperformed. The indoor pool was very loud and open until 9 on the weekend. Found mold in the closet and a roach in the bathroom. The night front desk was less than helpful when I asked about sheets for the pullout couch. The saving grace was the matanince worker who got me sheets. I won't stay again.
Super helpful staff! Extremely clean rooms! The pool is kid friendly and has a low end, also they keep life jackets on hand that you can sign out and bring back
Took a group to OKC for a basketball tournament. Erica was fantastic at getting us booked and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Lauren did a great job at the desk in the evenings. Would definitely stay again.
Priceline says 3.5 stars out of 4.... well.... it is decent and worth the money if you can catch a good price. Not 3.5 out of 4 though.
It was nice to be able to stay close to such great restaurants and to have a pool that was open. My dog, husband and myself enjoyed ourselves. But the courtyard in the center of the hotel was an issue for us. Two games of indoor football and one loud volley ball practice should have been taken outside. It was difficult to rest with the loud cackle of the upstairs party group going on throughout the night. The Spirit fair was nice but there should have been a better location for the gong and diggery-do. Too much commotion and not enough cleaning throughout the place. A random roll of toilet paper sat in the courtyard the whole three days we were there. And leaves/clothing tags resided next to the back exit door. Clearly it had been a few days since general cleaning had been accomplished. I am grateful there are other places in OKC because we travel there often. Just not back to the Wyndham.
The website says free shuttle to and from airport. Landed and called the hotel person that answers informed me that because of COVID-19 there is no shuttle. This particular weekend I was participating in a day tournament at the hotel so there is a large captive audience. A shuttle should have b en available. We were informed Friday evening breakfast was free. Showed up for breakfast was informed that because I booked through a third party vendor I had to pay. I have many hotel choices and during these times I am sure I can use another hotel that doesn't use switch and bait tactics to get guests.
Nice hotel. Multiple entrances so u can park close to your room. Also have a bar and restaurant. The indoor swimming pool is nice also. I had to clean my room more when I checked in. The table was dirty and there was a stain on my comforter. Plus our key cards kept deactivating.
