The room was fine, but my vehicle and nearly the entire parking lot was broken into in the middle of the night. I have two windows to replace now. That in of itself wasn't the hotels fault but found out they have no cameras outside the hotel. I was parked right up front, close to the entrance door. Also when we checked out weren't told that anything happened till the second time we went back inside to ask for a broom to get rid of the glass. Police had been called, and my truck alarm had gone off that night but not even mentioned when checking out let alone told during the night.
It was alright. Not too impressed. When we first got there, front desk woman was the least bit of informative. Couldn’t hardly hear her when she talked, and just gave us our key cards without explaining where anything was. The room smelled like smoke even though it’s a smoke free hotel. Clean for the most part. Had a 2 Queen and pullout couch, wouldn’t even set on the pullout couch after laying it out, the bedding hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. Stains and bugs in the bedding. Got there on a Saturday evening and the grill and bar were closed until Tuesday, which was frustrating but understand I guess with how times are. Pool wasn’t bad, just small. And when it came to checking out, asked for a luggage cart and got eyes rolled and told “they’re over there.” Definitely don’t think the place was worth the $120 a night.
Overall the entire experience, from booking our room, to the entire stay was a pleasant one. The check-in was easy, our room was very clean, the bed comfortable, room temperature stay consistently comfortable, and the hot breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was finding that the last morning, a Saturday, the hot breakfast buffet was not available, just a cold box breakfast. We didn't ask why, just headed out on our way home with the box.
One other comment about the hot buffet; we were glad that it had been included in our room rate because of the group we were with. I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay $11.95 each for the breakfast. By the time we got to the line most of the fresh fruit was gone. There are too many other places nearby we could have gotten breakfast on our way to our meetings, that we could pay less for. Maybe $8.95? Just a suggestion.
Room was decent, hotel was decent. First night we were in a room with a king bed and had our children. I asked to be moved to a double bed room. There were none available. Next day they moved us to a new room with double beds. Tile was lifted in bathroom, air conditioner was leaking and the carpet was wet up to the dresser in the room. There was also black little particles all over the air conditioner. We HAD to sleep in the room because they were sold out and did not have any other availability. There was candy thrown behind the bed that had not been cleaned up. Moved to a new room the next day. Room was more decent. Carpet/floor was also wet around the air conditioner.
We stay at DoubleTree for the restaurant breakfast. It's one of the few perks from being Diamond members that are actually worth it. They aren't doing them, however, they are hosting events with buffets. What earned the one star was the fact that we asked at check in and were lied to about what would be available in the morning. I have a toddler with multiple food allergies. I was planning on getting him a plain egg and fresh fruit. That would have been safe for him and allowed us to enjoy the pool one more time before going home. Now my husband is packing and we are having to leave without a morning swim because breakfast is pretty important. If they had just been up front about what they actually offered we could have worked around it. There was no need for the deceit
I would give then a 5 star rating but there were some stuff that was damage and dirty. I found a dead cockroach but I didn't tell my wife because she would've freak out lol. Secondly the guest service couldn't know if the morning brunch was included or was a charge since it was a buffet. For the price of 150+ I would recommend to be included, but don't know why is not. Rather than that nice big room very spacious two big TVs and close to all mayor restaurants and amenities.
My flight got canceled and I called, Double Tree. Lorie helped me feel at ease as she explained that their shuttle could pick me up from the airport and drop me at the hotel, no charge! I was treated with excellent customer service and a delicious cookie that made me feel comforted. Yum! The room was beautiful and super clean! After a restful night, I checked out at noon. My flight wasn’t until 7:30pm so I asked if I could hang around the hotel until then. They were wonderful and told me that was no problem. Even though I was checked out already, Leslie treated me with amazing care and customer service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who cares about the little things. Like fast efficient customer service with a smile. And, some super yumm cookies! Thank you Lorie and, Leslie, and the Double Tree staff for taking care of me. My unplanned stay ended up being a relaxing part of my trip.
Great experience the beds are super soft. Love that there is 2 tvs with small couch. Great for kids to sit and watch TV...clean and up to date facility
The hotel felt safe and was super clean. Our only issue was the noise level. We could not sleep at night until after our neighbors in the next room turn off their TV and stopped talking. We could hear every noise from out in the hallway and even those in the room directly above us. We could hear and understand the conversations in the room directly next to us as we laid in bed at night. There is definitely not enough insulation or sound barrier between the rooms. Because of the noise at night from our neighbors we couldn't fall asleep for the three nights that we were there until after midnight when they finally went to sleep.
It amazes me what you get for being a diamond member at the Hilton chain. I've been a diamond member for several years. Here's how the story goes;
I went down stairs to grab some waters since there were none in the room. Being a diamond member you get free water. So naturally I grabbed some bottles out of the cooler that were nestle. Lydia, at the front desk tells me I need to pay for it. So I asked which were free. She gave me the exact same water bottle just warm. Then proceeded to add "Management said it costs money to keep water cold, so you have to pay for it"
If the water was a different brand I'd understand. But being the same brand I can't understand. I'm sorry, but if your gonna spend the night at a hotel for $130.00 a night which this year alone I spent 100 days in hotels, the least you can do is offer free cold water.
Everything is fantastic, always. The people here are ready to help at the drop of a hat. Even helped me figure out how to scan in some documents to send into work. (Actually they just did it for me!) And saved me from the hot seat. Completely at home here, away from home!
Very dissapointed with the customer service at this Hilton! The inside is pretty nice but we had ants in our room and all they could do was send houskeeping up..they didnt offer free coffee or breakfast these small things make a difference to me especially travelling with kids.
The double tree was a very nice, clean hotel. My friends and i were having a reunion. We reserved two rooms on the corner. The rooms were spacious and nice. The sofabed could have used an end table. Everything was wonderful until, the large party came in and occupied the room above us. The parents allowed the children to run and jump and make constant noice. We went to the front desk about 3 or 4 times each night! One front desk agent suggested WE move! I would have rated this hotel a 5 but because if that front desk agent, could only rate a4
a good basic hotel though there needs to be a sign on the street indicating where the hotel is located. It is 300 feet back from the road and apart from my GPS I would not have found it quickly,
Our reservation specified a room with 2 double beds however the room only had a king bed. When we contacted to front desk to correct the issue we were told they had overbooked their 2 double bed rooms and there wasn't anything they could do for us so one of us had to make up and sleep on the uncomfortable sofa bed. The bathtub stopper wouldn't stay open so we had to find something to keep it open while showering. The ice machine was out of service. Overall a horrible experience!
Beautiful hotel! Worth every star! Calm, relaxing atmosphere.
Very clean and friendly staff. They were wearing their mask and had hand sanitizers stations. Enjoyed the stay. My family and I will definitely come back.
Ok so this hotel was good but only gave it 3 stars cause of the bar server...she for got my liquor in my Margareta then put waaauyyy to much liquor in my hubbys drink ....I don't think she knew what she was doing..
I love this place nice rooms indoor pool open later than other places. Will take a regular debit card no prob. And not expensive
Lori at the front desk charged my brother's debit card for over $1000 and accused him of theft. Obviously, there was no theft. We find this conduct to be unacceptable and will be pursuing legal action if necessary.
This hotel establishment claims they have video proof of a friend stealing all of the electronics, mirrors and other items out of the room. My friend stayed one night to drop his 6 year old son off back home, had no car rental and was there in Oklahoma for roughly 24 hours. They have stolen over $1000 from his bank account, did not call the police to file a report and are failing to get us connected to a manager to rectify these lies. They are refusing to show proof to us, Lori at the front desk said she can't call a manager because they never call back and just hung up on him and is refusing to help. We have contacted the police and there is no robbery or theft report on file per the Master Sargent, who also told us that a report has to be filed if a crime was committed. We are contacting the corporate offices as I'm typing this review.
Friendly staff, incredible rooms, and all staff were wearing masks correctly. Beautiful hotel!
Very good property. Would highly recommend!
Quiet, relaxing, pool was warm, people were friendly. I'll definitely stay here for a momcation again.
Love their program to leave our in an emergency. Couldn't stay there because were full.
Our favorite hotel to stay at every time we visit OKC. We always get the presidential suite, it’s large enough to fit my husband and I and our 3 nephews and still have privacy when we stay. The gym and pool is high quality. The breakfast you can’t beat! Staff and cleanliness always beats our expectations. Absolutely love staying here.
Just used their airport parking and shuttle. Wonderful experience and I will do it again in the future.
The rooms are very nice, clean, and in a good location for where we needed to be but the fact that Hilton didn't serve a continental breakfast is beyond ME. Covid should not be a reason to charge ppl for breakfast.
They won't service the rooms.
No wash cloths.
They now charge diamond members for breakfast, because of "Covid"...
How is the breakfast that you now charge for any more safe than the complimentary breakfast that is standard at Hilton properties?
Covid is not a reason for bad service and higher prices.
I recommend using one of the many other Hilton properties.
Checked out a day early to go stay somewhere else.
This Doubletree does not live up to the brand standard.
This was first time staying at DoubleTree. When, I walked in and I was greeted by Lindsay. She checked me and set me up with my digital room key. (I love this feature). The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here. I have the Executive suite and it's located conveniently next to everything. It's peaceful and quiet. I did receive the famous DoubleTree cookie upon arrival and it's delicious. It's very clean and the sweet dream beds are amazing. I will definitely stay here again.
