SwiftPark Dallas Love Field: The Fast Answer

Rate: $9.70/day (plus taxes and fees) | Distance: 1.1 miles from DAL | Address: 6434 Maple Ave., Dallas, TX | Shuttle: On-demand (call on arrival) | Parking type: Uncovered, self-park

SwiftPark is one of the cheaper off-airport options near Dallas Love Field. At $9.70/day it undercuts most on-airport options. The tradeoff is an on-demand shuttle and reviews that are genuinely split.

The Honest Review Breakdown

SwiftPark's public reviews are mixed enough that this page needs a real explanation instead of hype.

Travelers who had good experiences usually did these things:

• Booked in advance, often using a promo or Groupon
• Flew during normal business hours
• Called for shuttle pickup while they were still collecting luggage
• Had some buffer and were not operating under a tight deadline

Travelers who had poor experiences usually shared these patterns:

• Returned late at night or very early in the morning
• Expected premium-service response times at a budget lot
• Waited until they were already outside to call for pickup

The result: SwiftPark can work well as a budget lot, but it is not a premium experience.

Shuttle: What "On Demand" Actually Means

SwiftPark does not run a fixed loop. When you arrive, the staff dispatches a shuttle. When you return, you call the number on your ticket and they send the shuttle to the airport pickup area.

Typical wait times reported by travelers:

• Departure during normal hours: about 5-10 minutes
• Return during normal hours: about 10-20 minutes
• Return late at night or during rush periods: 20-40 minutes in the negative reviews

Tip: Call the shuttle while you are walking toward baggage claim instead of after you already have your bags.

DAL Context: Why Timing Matters

Dallas Love Field is Southwest-heavy, and parking demand spikes Thursday through Sunday. That means off-airport lots near DAL can feel much busier than you'd expect for a mid-size airport.

Book ahead for:

• Thursday-Sunday departures
• Summer leisure travel periods
• Holiday weeks

Promo Codes and Deals

SwiftPark has historically run offers like 1 free day with 7 paid days, and Groupon deals sometimes push the effective rate much lower. Check both before booking direct.

Reality Check: When to Pick Something Else

Skip SwiftPark if:

• You're arriving back after 10 PM and need a fast pickup
• You want covered parking
• Your departure window is extremely tight
• You're treating this as a premium valet operation instead of a budget lot

SwiftPark is a better fit if:

• Price is the top priority
• You're traveling Monday-Wednesday or during normal hours
• You have a promo that drops the rate meaningfully below on-airport options
