Stars Inn Edmonton Airport

I love staying here! I have stayed here dozens of times and I keep coming back. I have stayed in hotels all over Edmonton, several times over. The Stars Inn is newer, clean, with very large rooms, comfortable beds and a very good breakfast which is included. It also has a pool hot tub and a golf simulator. You can rent right handed clubs. Very close to the airport. I stay here even when I am doing business in the city because the quality for the price is unbeatable. The price is fairly low. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is always pleasant. I have never had a bad experience while staying here.

I read all the reviews before coming and everyone kept saying how clean it is and for that I give a 1000 out of ten. Wonderful! We literally arrived late at night and stayed for four hours for a flight but it was exactly what we wanted. Fair priced and clean. I would not describe it as plush and there seemed to be a lot of rules so if you are a family I would stay but if you are looking for a place to hang and party not for you :)



The front desk guy who worked nights arranged a hotel transfer for us and was really professional.

Property is clean and modern, conveniently located and offers a shuttle to the airport - best value in the area. A pleasant way to start a trip if you're leaving really early in the morning and don't want to drive out in the dark and snow! Highly recommend.

a real good experience with the hotel staff and facilities and especially the pricing. but would recommend to consider more kitchen equipment or basic such as glasses or microwave for clients. it makes life easy

We stayed here after coming home from the airport. Our flights were delayed and we didn't get in Edmonton until very early in the morning. We had our truck parked at park n fly and with it being -40 out, the truck wouldn't start and we were stranded. We called the hotel to see if their airport shuttle could come get us from the park n fly. Well the front desk person went above and beyond and came to pick us up!! Talk about amazing service. We were so grateful. And then we walked into a very clean and modern looking reception area. Check in was a breeze. Went in to our room to find an updated clean room. Perfect. Then in the morning we got a delicious breakfast. The only complaint I have is that the rooms aren't very soundproofed so you can hear banging and suitcases rolling outside in the hall. My husband is a deep sleeper so he didn't notice, but if you're a light sleeper like me that could be an issue, though maybe there were just loud people in the hotel that night.

Nice and clean room. The room seem larger than normal. The price was very economical.

Overall Great Value. We stayed in two queen room with my family. The room was larger than average hotel with Vinyl plank flooring. Beds were comfortable, Breakfast was good heaps of fresh bacon. My only complaint was that pool was colder than average with puddles on the deck due to poor drainage.

Clean, modern, and quiet spot to stay. Used the pool/tub and fitness room with no issues. Complimentary breakfast. A safe and comfortable stay.

Unfortunately, I left a sweater behind in the closet, and it was not returned to the desk/lost and found.

As for the price the facilities were really well done and i liked the breakfast really good food.This is by far the best hotel i have ever been in. The washrooms were clean, the rooms were big, and i liked the hot tub and the pools too. And i will definitely come to this hotel again

Good hotel when on sale ($75-85 for the night). Rooms are new looking and clean always. I look forward to staying here during my travel commutes.

This place is definitely our usual stay in town!

The rooms we have stayed in have been very clean. And one of the cleanest we have been at. The bathroom size is so large and nice to have. It makes staying at very comfortable!



The staff has always been very accommodating, providing extra towels or pillows if asked



The reason why it gets a 4 star is, having paper cups in the room (instead of glass cups I'm assuming due to covid - cause they did have them before)



Also being a bit more timely on the room checks post stay for damage deposits would be a definite bonus as $200 is alot for a damage deposit.



However that small thing is minor as compared to the pleasant stays we continue to have at stars Inn. Keep up the good work

I've never stayed at a hotel so beautiful before. I will definitely be back, and will be telling friends to check them out also.

Great place to stay. Clean and updated rooms. Pool and gym is on site. Breakfast was included which is big plus. Good choices for breakfast. Late check out also was available. Will come back next time when in Edmonton

Spent one night after arriving late from a flight, didn't expect much/anything as I just booked something available and of value, but, this place great. Nice rooms and tasty complimentary cooked breakfast. I'll definitely stay here again.

Would definitely stay here again! Stayed 2 nights. During covid received excellent service and beautiful clean conditions amazing helpful staff tasty treats provide along with coffee in the morning satisfaction.👍☺️

Hotel is nice and new with modern decor. Rooms are spacious and hotel has a nice pool/jacuzzi and great hot breakfast. Definitely recommend. Great value for the rate 😄

First impressions are very important to me. My first time to stay at this hotel. The front of the property is a bit dirty. The hotel lobby is bright but customer service could've been better. Would have been nice if the lobby had a complimentary table offering coffee and hot water. Rooms are big, modern and all around exceptionally clean. Love the bathroom. I love the shower; very nice and big. And I love the vanity mirror!

Clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but has all the amenities that I need when traveling. They serve the traditional low and free breakfast with the exception of the waffles which are delicious! Great location with good proximity to Edmonton international airport, city of Leduc and south Edmonton. Also several restaurants and coffee within easy walking distance. All in all, a great stay for a very reasonable price!

Surprisingly for the rate charged a very nice clean hotel with an amazing nice clean room. With nowadays technology in your car or truck easy to find.

The Stats Inn is fantastic value, especially for its price point.



The room was very clean when we arrived. Our suite included a desk, mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and television.



The bed was comfy with semi firm pillows that were quite comfortable as well.



The bathroom was clean with a lit mirror and large shower. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were found in a dispenser on the wall.



The pool was a little small, but the hot tub was large enough to fit 6-8 adults in it. The gym looked like it had all the staples. The included breakfast was quite impressive with hot and cold items.



The only reason why the Stars Inn gets 4 stars is because of the false fire alarm that woke us up before the crack of dawn. Also, our safe didn't work, or wasn't included with our stay.

Room 322. Amazing rainfall shower with high pressure shower head. Room was clean. Ac worked great (use thermostat on wall). Great complementary breakfast. Fantastic price!

The Staff are so friendly. Clean quiet large room. So comfortable beds will stay again great price !!!!! Golf was fun too

This is a modern style hotel. Very clean and bright. Rooms are very large and the furniture is new. Bathroom is spotless. Nice swimming pool and a jacuzzi. . Staff are friendly and smiling. It is close to the airport. Overall a very convenient place to stay. Good value for the money. This hotel is accessible to wheelchairs.

Very good value for the price. Nothing spectacular given the price point but for someone just wanting a place to stay close to the airport, this is the best place to be. Good breakfast. Building is new. Room is clean enough but could do better on common places like elevators and hallways (dusty, lots of dirty hand streaks)

I will never stay anywhere else when I'm going to Edmonton. And one of the main reasons is a staff member named Ashley. During my stay I got food poisoning for the first time, and Ashley went above and beyond what the hotel provides to take care of me. She brought me ice chips, towels, water, some plain muffins and some oranges for when I was feeling better. It's not even her job to take care of customers, she just did it out of the kindness of her heart. I will forever be grateful for Ashley for taking such good care of me. And because of ashley, this hotel has earned my loyalty for life. Also, the hotel is brand new! It is clean, modern, and absolutely beautiful. And it is so affordable! If you are going to Edmonton for work or for play, I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

I liked the big spacious room, we had a king bed which was clean, fresh and comfy. The room was clean , the shower was nice. I didn’t like the noisy floors. Since they do not have rug floors, you can hear other people walking around you. At 4am I heard a lady and child running around and that was not great. The sink and toilet plumbing was kinda loud. I appreciate the price of this stay. It was good with space and cleanliness but then you get maybe a bit cheaper building structure. The breakfast was pretty good compared to most. Mostly the floor noise was my least favorite part and the fresh comfy bed was the best. The staff and checking in and out was easy and pleasant. Good stay for the price over all

Definitely better than any 3 star hotel I have ever stayed at.

Really nice modern rooms. Loved the faucets and the rain shower head. Great pressure. Beds were comfy. Rooms were clean. The pool was nice and warm and the hot tub was the perfect temperature. Wasn't overly scorching hot like some places I've been. Price for the room was amazing!! Would definitely recommend this place and i would stay there again for sure.

Would definitely stay here Again.

I won a contest to stay here for night in the King Jacuzzi suite. The room was spacious, clean and exceeded our expectations. There was a bottle of wine and chocolates as well as balloons awaiting us as part of the contest.

The room had all the usual amenities and the bed was large and comfy. The rain shower was lovely.

We used the pool and hot tub at the hotel and were pleased with the temperature and how clean it was.

The hot complimentary breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh. Great variety too.

The only thing and it's small is that my husband doesn't like to use tap on vending machines so a coin option for him would be nice. For me, tap is convenient.

The reception was welcoming and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend if you're using the airport or even visiting the mall or area.

I'm very impressed with this property. What friendly front desk staff! Sofia/Sophia checked me in at an awful overnight hour and was so pleasant.



Renee was particularly great, noticing that there was a second reservation under my name. I'd booked with a third party provider that was supposed to book in my friend's name an additional room for the evening after i arrived. On the hotel's end, the data they got suggested I booked a duplicate room for one of my nights in my own name. She was kind to bring this to my attention and resolve it. She also handled other issues with grace and expedience. It's rather unusual these days to come across workers who care about their jobs. In the hospitality industry, this is especially apparent. I think Renee is a valuable asset.



The facilities here are the nicest I've experienced at a budget hotel. One could mistake this place for a far more expensive property. I do wish it would be around for another visit; I was told a medical centre will be here and no longer a hotel after mid-June 2023. I would actually seek out the sister property to this hotel.



I rarely write reviews but felt this was especially with sharing.

We had a cancelled flight and booked a one night stay.

The front staff were so welcoming and pleasant. They also provided my children each with a balloon. It’s a small thing but had such a big impact for the kiddos.

Rooms were great and spacious



Complimentary breakfast was great bonus too!



We did not use the pool so I cannot comment on that.

Reserved rooms at Stars Inn for 7 nights. Ended up with car trouble and had to stay an additional 2 nights. When Diana heard about my car trouble she gave excellent rates and very helpful in recommending restaurants nearby. A very good breakfast was included. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again and will recommend to family & friends.

Hotel itself is very clean. Breakfast is better than most places in its price range. Ie Holiday Inn Express. The gym is much better than expected. Housekeeping came every day, which is appreciated vs other hotels I’ve stayed at recently where they don’t come unless they ask. It felt a little loud in terms of hearing peoples conversations in the hallway from the room. This is likely exasperated by the fact that the rooms are all hard surface with no carpet…so that’s a plus, but you’ll need the fan on at night. The rooms could definitely use some colour or pictures on the wall. Very very stark in colour. The biggest negative was the fact that the blankets had stains on them. I had two different rooms and the top blankets are white, but I’m guessing they aren’t bleached when they are washed. Overall I was pleased and comfortable. I didn’t see the official rating, but this is a good 3 star hotel. I usually only stay at the Marriott chain so this wasn’t a Marriott but good for a 3 star travelling through.

I wasn't able to take pictures but this place is a good surprise. It is clean, quiet and the room is big. Only thing maybe is that they don't serve breakfast anymore with the stay due to covid but everything else is great. The pictures on the site is what it is or maybe better. It was a great place to stay.

I checked in at 10:30pm and left at 5:30am so I'm only reviewing the room and the front desk staff. The room was gorgeous and massive with a super high ceiling which made it feel extra luxurious. The bathroom was so modern and the room was spotless overall. Only complaint was the loud air conditioning unit, it kind of turned on and off during the night. Front desk staff was super helpful and efficient and they set me up with an airport huytle on short notice. Elevator is slightly slow but otherwise the building was also very nice. Highly recommend staying here

I didn't get to stay there, my friend did and I went for a visit. And it was very clean, beautiful place to stay. If you're a person who gets distracted by a noise of airplane and highway speeds it's probably not a great location. Other than that it's great and well maintained.

Have stayed here a few times over the last couple months as I travel back and forth. Updated comfortable rooms. Incredibly clean. The staff is friendly. Good breakfast, and the rates are great. Definitely the best stay if you need something close to the airport.

I arrived in Edmonton around midnight and called for shuttle pickup at the entrance. Unfortunately the shuttle must have been a bit backed up, wait would have been 40 minutes, so I skipped it and ordered an uber (about $13). Next time I'd probably call as soon as I touched down to be safe, despite their instructions to wait until your st the pikcup spot.



Telephone, front desk, and breakfast is extremely friendly. Good water pressure. Excellent hot complimentary buffet breakfast with eggs, tater tots, sausage, waffles, beans, hot porridge plus the regular assortment of cereals Muffins fruit and toast. The breakfast assistant was extremely warm, personable and helpful.



Can't go wrong for the price.
