What a fantastic airport. Everyone working here from the gate agents, baggage crew, airport staff and even the car rental employee all were friendly and kind. Folks went out of their way to help. TSA had minimal wait times. The airport was clean and well lit with lots of seating options.

Very nice small airport, quick to get through security and to your gate. Knocking off a star because both available water fountains were not dispensing filtered water to refill my water bottle. I had to pivot and order a beer at the bar to quench my thirst.

This is a cute little international airport. Very efficient to be able to get everywhere. Everybody I interacted with was professional and signs made it easy to find where I needed to go. Fun artwork throughout and easy parking.

BTV airport is my all time favorite.
Small, quick, friendly are adjectives that come to mind.
Even better now that skinny pancake has moved in.

When we have arrived at the airport in the afternoon, every shops were closed, except only one that sells Vermont souvenirs ! .. but it's OK because it is like that in Vermont for all small shops.
It's a very clean airport, full of natural light because of the wood and the windows structure !
We have received our luggages very soon!๐งณ ๐งณ
Close to the restrooms there is a tap with free water to drink ๐ฐ ๐ง ๐ฆ
We have needed of the car rental (we previously booked online in advance, using Alamo) and we have easily found the car rental counter just outside the arrival area!
The car rental system is very easy, to find and use!
There is the police office with a police car always in front of the airport.
There are many Vermont pamphlets available (maps, museums, shops)!
After having returned the car rented (veeeery easy to do!) , we have taken the bus (#11) to return to downtown. The bus's runs are no very frequent, but checking in advance the bus timetable with the car rental return time, it will be all right! And UNTIL JANUARY 2o24, THE BUSES RUN WILL BE FARE FREE as well.
Another SPECIAL SURPRISE for the army/navy stuff lovers (๐as me!!!! ๐ฅฐ) : this airport hosts the 134th Fighter Squadronย (134th FS), nicknamedย the "Green Mountain Boys" ๐โ๏ธ๐๐บ๐ธ and if you are lucky, you can see their F-35, F-16 and Black Hawk taking off from the airport (I won't tell the EXACT time, but you can have the best visual of them going to MIRABELLES BAKERY for having breakfast around 9 a.m. ... and I really suggest you to go there because the breakfast there is amazing!!!!!)
So ...... 5 stars ๐ ๐๐๐๐forever to this airport!!!!!! โจ๏ธ ๐บ๐ธโ๏ธ๐

I was there during construction. So lots of empty space. Tsa took about 5 minutes and was really friendly. They have an airport service dog. Not much for amenities, bare minimum of food and shops, but enough. The town is a good place to spend a long layover as well.

I always enjoy this little airport. Organized and streamlined, well labeled, and you can't beat the mountain views while waiting at your gate. Depending on the season you most definitely need to prearrange your rental car as they can run out quickly.

Very small airport. Plan ahead to have food before entering security, there is only one restaurant that is a hole in the wall. Bring some busy work to pass time while waiting at the gate because there are no shops to window shop.
Since this airport is so small, many of the workers wear many hats, and stay busy or are used to not doing anything. Some of the staff seemed annoyed that I asked them for help.

Small airport, but nice. Getting through security was a breeze! The rental car counters are conveniently onsite. Even though they are doing construction to expand seating areas, there was plenty of seats for our gate. They have a cute "kids zone" play area too.

First time flighting out of BVT. What a great experience. Super quick to get our bag checked and get through security. A special treat to see the National Guard jets take off.

Small airport! Security has been fast for me and the airport is easy to navigate. Every winter when I fly here the workers seem very friendly and helpful. They have a cute cafe in the United/American terminal.
The only less than positive thing I have to say about this airport is that baggage claim can take a while-- according to my aunt who flies here regularly, it is often a long wait. My own bags probably took about half an hour to appear, which wasn't too long but more time than I am used to at other airports.
All things considered, Burlington International Airport is a pleasant place with a safe and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend!

Love this small airport, and it's even better now that the new wing is open. Never have a problem getting through security, and it's better now there are 4 lanes. Food options are a bit limited, but I'm not going to the airport for dinner choices. Flights are always on time.

First time being in this airport. Despite how small it is, I like it for what some of the things it offers compared to the big airport in my city. Plus it's kinda cute in the gate area.
Yes it doesn't have many restaurant options but I haven't seen a US airport offer this:
- A kiddie game zone, which has shuffleboard, foosball, a piano, jumbo size chess, jumbo size tic-tac-toe, board games, and ping pong.
- Multiple rocking chairs scattered around
- Lactaction pods
- A kid zone
- Observation tower (too hot during this time of the year when the sun is out)
You can also see mountains on one side. The flight info screens are in English and French.

Small friendly airport with decent prices on food and goods. Always quick through security as long as you pay attention to the directions given. Never a problem traveling through here even in the winter. Great airport

Plenty of parking. Easy check in but it gets pretty busy. However limited seating on the waiting area (american airlines), specifically at the end of the terminal. Our flight was delayed for over an hour. Seems to have issues with the escalator and not always working. Seems to be common with airports.

Been flying out of this airport for a number of years. Finally made it to the observation tower which was great... minus the person taking a work call up there. Also, the new renovations by gate 8 make boarding a much more enjoyable experience. Easy security too. I really like that compared to the big airports.

The facilities are very clean and all the plants look nice and make for an inviting space to wait for arrivals. However the elevators and escalators have been out of commission for a while now, making it much harder to navigate the airport with luggage.

Burlington International Airport was very easy coming in from JFK. The baggage claim is very simple and car rental all together. We were on our way to our vacation in less than 30 minutes.
Arriving at the airport was a breeze. Drove up to the terminal where I dropped my wife off with our luggage. Carried our rental car back to return place and was checked in around 30 minutes with baggage and may I say the friendliest TSA.
Nothing but good about Burlington International Airport. Everything else concerning Delta Airlines 2 hour delay is on them.

I did the impossible at this airport, considering its size.
I almost missed my flight. My phone and the ceiling mounted TV's BOTH said that my flight was leaving out of gate 8, but when they called my name over the loudspeaker, turns out it was at gate 3. Even after the plane departed, i got a message saying that my flight departed from gate 8. I hate technology. Maybe i'm dumb. But its a nice little airport, real quiet, and uneventful. pretty impressive lobby too.

Very small and a very interesting walk from the South Terminal to the North Terminal. Love the gift shop with some local made products. Do try the maple candy. Another surprising treat was the restaurant. The South Terminal and North Terminal only have one restaurant, but the South has the larger menu. I highly recommend eating here, it was great!!!!

This is a great airport to fly into and out of it. It is small, easy to navigate and lacks the crowds which make security such a hassle. I usually arrive an hour early if i do the online check in and that is more than enough time.

We had a long flight delay but enjoyed how quiet and accommodating the airport is. There are not many options for food but the few options are perfectly good. The kids room is a huge plus. My daughter enjoyed it immensely.

A smaller regional airport with a style of it's own.
Many displays to keep your eyes interested.
Easy access to baggage if needed, as well as parking structures.
Staff were friendly and helpful as well as courteous.
Many of the staff are still wearing masks, as well as travelers.
And as always, if enjoyed this review do not forget to hit the LIKE button

The National Weather Service Burlington, Vermont which operates I believe out of the airport issued a hail warning at about 1:00 today.
They suggested taking cover for your vehicles so they wouldn't be pelted with hail.
One of the few places I know to do that, is the parking garage at the airport.
I headed there and stayed til the warning time was over @1 hour. Previously, I had known that they used to have people there are in the garage itself and at the curbside but I didn't see staffing there when I went through.
Parking garage was packed. I had to go to the third level. They also have uncovered parking spaces available but I needed it covered to prevent any possible damage from the hail.
I didn't encounter anyone except a voice over a payment machine when I was trying to exit the parking lot and it refused to take my credit card. It was only for a charge of a dollar so that could have been the reason.
There is no attendant and there was no way to put cash in so I had to call for help. Someone did get back to me right away. Good thing there was no long line of cars trying to get out behind me! We had no hail by the way in the immediate area.

I wish I would've taken more pictures. This airport might be small, but it has so much character. There were plenty of lounge areas - plus an area just for toddlers/kids. Which that can be an ultimate score especially for those traveling with little ones.
It was cool while I was waiting to board my flight - I got to enjoy watching flights take off and land on the runway.
The food and coffee shop selections seemed pretty nice - I chose to skip bc I wasn't in the mood for it, but will try next time I'm here.
But for you traveling through BTV, it's a cozy little airport with plenty of character! I hope you enjoy it, too!

It's a cute little airport. A bit alow going through TSA. You can tell it's a new system for them. It would be nice if there was more than one food option but the food was food and the tea was hot. I ended up here on accident when our flight was diverted due to weather. The staff was as pleasant and as helpful as could be at midnight with 40 unexpected passengers.
