Absolutely awful. Needs negative stars. Dirty af. Room keys did not work on several different occasions. This was also happening for others in rooms near us. The rooms were hot. Ac was not blowing cold air. The sheets had short, curly, black hairs on them. I was thoroughly disgusted. Do not stay there under any circumstance. Free is not even a deal to stay there.

It wasn't that bad. Its definitely a little old and probably won't be there much longer. But the room was clean and the price was unbelievably low. You get what you pay for people.

this place will get zero stars, we were in three room because of the air conditioning not working in any of them, also the TV didn't work in one of the rooms, and another the carpet shredded. There were no stoppers in the sinks and bathtub. As a business traveler for many years, and staying at a wide variety of hotels across the United States, this was the worst hotel experience I've ever experienced. There were cleaning issues, of which I won't detail here. This Roadway Inn should be avoided.

This is a sad little old hotel just off the strip by a high end strip club. It lack a manual lock or a workable lock on the door. I had to buy Clorox Wipes to finishing cleaning my room. The place offers no amities but a pool but the phones work. To operate the TV you have to read back of remote. Then all your cold air blows up a curtain and back to hot window. So you have to rig a method to keep curtains down. See pics there was no room cleaning between days, I am sure they blame COVID for that but many other places do clean between days now. There’s no tissue in rooms and you need to get a candle to block out smell. I was here grieving so I just had short time to book and I thought Choice Hotels cared more about product, left after @ nights.

Wish I could give negative stars. Beds are like rocks. Our door wouldn't close right cause it had obviously been crow barred. Rooms seem like they picked stuff from a dumpster outside one of the better hotels....30 years ago. The AC units were ancient and took 3 days to cool our room down to 78. Was 85 in the room most of the time we were there and 107° outside allowing no respite from the heat. Book your hotels ahead of time people. Don't get stuck here.

The rooms were not vacuumed very well and I found weed in my room; thankfully I found it before my 2 year old or my dogs did, my daughter found a dirty lollipop holder and used lollipop, there were stains and it smells like pee and weed. There were no towels or washcloths in our room when we checked in and I had to ask 3 times (this time I went to the lobby) before I ever got any and it took over a day and half to finally get some. There was no breakfast and the only ice machine is in the lobby area on the third floor. I highly do not recommend this place.

This Rodeway was nicer then some, entrance is nice but rooms are average Rodeway status. Need new pillows!! King bed only 3 pillows and all flat cotton type. Clean room though and new ac that was nice. Guest service/reception was easy and nice.

Wow, words cannot even describe this hotel. It's under new management, now known as the Rodeway Inn. I wanted to take pictures, but couldn't get out of the place fast enough.

First thing's first, the woman at the front desk was nice, despite it being late at night. She checked us in with no issues, explained where we were going clearly, and was very accommodating.

But the good experience stops there. After walking into the hallway, we immediately smelled cigarette smoke, despite it being a "smoke-free" floor.

We walked in to our FIRST room and immediately felt filthy. The security latch on the door was non-functional, the carpet and sheets were stained. We requested another room, and they were accommodating. Unfortunately, it was on the same floor.

Walking into the 2nd floor, we couldn't believe it was actually WORSE. The security latch was non-existing, the carpet was torn, just about shutting that can have a stain on it DID, and it still had the STENCH of cigarette smoke.

Needless to say, we didn't stay. Luckily our 3rd party was able to secure alternate accommodations that evening.

We made the mistake of booking this hotel before reading the reviews. After reading reviews, we were very hesitant. When we entered our room (in the main building), we inspected everything. Throughout our stay, we did not see a single cockroach or bedbug in our room or our hotel. Although the hotel and room was outdated, everything was very clean. Front desk staff were very nice and accomadating. A decent hotel for the price. We would stay again!

Things to know/do:

-Take advantage of their free shuttle to and from the airport.

-Pay $8 for an 'all access' 24 hour bus pass. It can be bought at various hotels or you can just install the app on your phone and pay with a debit/credit card. The bus stops right in front of the hotel and it will take you to the strip where you can hop on a new bus to go all the way down to the welcome to Las Vegas sign - or even all the way up to Fremont street.

-The ice machine is not in the main building.

-Don't waste your time with their breakfast and coffee - it is not substantial in any way.

-The cafe next door in the Tuscany and the Starbuck's across the street will be your best friend.

Great location. Close to everything. No casino inside, so it was quiet at night. Very good price. So please don’t expect five star treatment dam it! If you want to spend $300 a night so Venetian is just right on the corner!

The breakfast was good. The only hotel that had a good breakfast whilst on our holiday. The location is just under one mile from the Strip. A good location.

Clean everywhere. Big room. Front desk people were great. Maintenance came within 20 minutes of my call to reset my AC unit. Pool was clean. Plenty of parking.

Hotel is nothing like the photos... overall the building have a unpleasant smell, rooms looks outdated, one of our lamps didn't work, building is a weird layout. Definitely not worth it's price. Honestly the only bright side is a Starbucks across the street lol.

I wish I could give negative stars — Fortune Hotel & Suites is not deserving of their current 3 star rating.

Our first experience with the hotel was two girls who were drunk out of their minds laying on the font lobby stairs yelling in Spanish.

We got in late, paid the “resort fee”, got our key, and walked to the smoky “non smoking” area to get to our room. As soon as we get there, we hear a dog barking from the room we’re supposed to be in. Thinking it was coming from the room adjacent to ours, we used a room key only to find our room was occupied. We walked back to building 1 from building 3, and the receptionist was gone. Once she got back we explained the situation and she told us that they had no available rooms and turned us away at 2:00am. We had made our reservation 2 weeks prior.

Pretty disappointed.

How do you not know what rooms are available?

As obvious as this may be, the hotel looks NOTHING like the pictures.

I stayed here last weekend. I have never stayed in a more disgusting place and was charged $300 plus for a 2 day stay. They only a lot each room 2 pillows per bed, refused to provide more. They ran out of the tiny towels that they provide to each room by noon the next day so we weren’t provided fresh towels. The keys to the rooms stopped working to get into the rooms a long with getting into the building.

Well it's cheap and conveniently placed a little ways from the strip. Now this place has changed names and the owners are ridiculous with the prices I wouldn't pay over 40 with tax to stay here nothing has changed but the name and they went up on prices every night I pass there's only like 10 people in the Hotel period. This place sucks with New Owners

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Apparently it used to be nice but was bought out. Tube tv's terrible carpet and beds were lumpy. Room felt haunted. We left after 3 hours.

The only great thing about this hotel is the location. You are in walking distance of the strip and all other popular places in the Vegas. The room is not up to the mark, pretty old type and not very clean. Washroom will get 1/2 rating out of 5. The carpet was dirty as you see in the picture. Overall, I feel like you can consider it for its cheap price and great location. Nothing else.

This place is trash upon checking in there was not anyone at the desk. Homeless ppl staying and hanging around the property. Front desk lady wanted cash deposit. Reservation was cancelled never stayed there. The hotel was contacted by which they agreed to cancel my reservation. The next morning they stole money off my card for a room I never checked in. The lady tried over charging me, never ever saw a company in Vegas request a cash deposit for a hotel. Area is not the best I wouldn’t stay here if i they gave me a free night. No customer service desk lady had a very bad attitude. I would give a 0 if I could now I’m waiting on them to decide to email the company to get a refund which my card should have never been charged in the 1st place. Parking lot was very empty so I can see why they need to steal money off of my card.

Decent room it was nice and quiet. Shawn was helpful we had booked a room for Tuesday thru Sunday but we got to town earlier than expected so he let us in a night earlier and I was thankful because I had drug a uhaul trailer from colorado springs co and I needed a place to lay down and rest. We definitely be back to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The price may be appealing but DO NOT. Our room was disgusting and we got bed bugs. Upon telling management and asking for a refund and telling them we have bed bugs they didn’t even offer to change our room. The manager wouldn’t even attend us nor would they give us any sort of recourse. They didn’t even offer to clean or inspect the room for pests. Do not stay here. They likely don’t sanitize the place. Will be lodging a complaint with the health department.

Here's the deal ppl...this place is very reasonable in price HOWEVER book online ahead of time to save money cause the front desk will work you for sure...know your s#i+, knowledge is power. They told me no more vacancies I went online THERE WAS. They told me 99$ a night not include tax, online said 49$ plus 11$ resort fee so 60 and 99 huge difference. Check your room when you first get there because anything wrong they will blame you and you won't get deposit back( like comforters with. Urn marks, lamps work, tv works,) and don't place your room key next to your cell it will deactivate. Other than that not bad chill as in staff and security not all in your business. Vending machine and ice machine down too so bring your own beverages/cooler. lots and lots of channels tho so that was cool and water is extremely hot easy to cook jail house style in your room.

Inexpensive, but there is a 100dollar deposit to put down plus the room. The deposit you get back in cash if ubpaid cash the moment you check out, you dont need to use cards at all here.

1 2 3 4 5
No problems.with the room like others have said. Only problem we did have and it's why I only have it 4 stars, was that the bathroom sink barely had any pressure. Very little water came out making it almost useless. The bed was comfortable, the room and hallways were no dirtier then any other hotel, actually they were even cleaner then some of the others around here. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Ok I am editing this review to drop the star rating. The reason is because they refused to give us our entire deposit back because we left a towel in the room. It was a towel we had brought with us and forgot when we left. The lady charged us $20 for forgetting our own towel.

We stayed for almost a week. The rooms were gross, there was dirt in all the corners and along the walls, not to mention the whole building says no smoking but the whole place smelt horrible of smoke. The elevator makes so many sounds it should probably be out of service, which it was for one of the days we were there. They didn't have a microwave in the room which is said to have in the description. Also, we had a box tv with a HDMI extension that didn't work. Even though most pictures they have on their site show flat screens. The tub and sink constantly leaked. They also had the breakfast and pool closed "because of covid" yet other hotels had their pools open already. Its a very ran down hotel. It has about 0.8 of a mile off the strip but the whole street is filled with homeless people and bums, i definitely don't recommend walking from the hotel to strip, especially with a family.

Booked motel room months in advance, emailed to make sure they would honor my reservation during the covid-19 outbreak, they emailed back saying they were closed till June 1st 2020, it is now June 4th 2020 my wife and I are in Vegas from out of town, and now have to scramble to find a motel to stay at for the weekend...

Stayed for 5 days. This dead pigeon was on my window ledge the ENTIRE time! Elevator shakes going up. There are tweakers behind dumpsters doing their thing. Walking down the hall felt like I was in the shining. 2 stars for the great customer service and comfort in the room itself. Had to smack the tv for it to work. Not recommended which is sad because the staff was great and the location is great.

The hotel was clean. I guess because of coronavirus, the dining room area was shut down and i couldn't eay breakfast. I would have like it the hotel could've had some free snacks and water instead of having to pay for water. I had problems with getting the shower to work. I tried to turn off the faucet to stop running the bath water but the top of the faucet wouldn't let me switch to take a shower and i had to clean my self while i let the bath water running. I guess you can say the experience overall was positive because the receptionists check me in and out in a only a couple of minutes.

First and foremost, the front of the hotel looks nice and all, but as you drive in, it is actually kind of scary. My husband didn't want me to bring bags from the car without him.

When we got to the room the smoke detector was half pulled off the wall. Three carpet felt crusty almost and was gross to walk on.

There was something glued to the TV that looked like a small camera. Lastly, there was no hot water. It was at best lukewarm, but if you turned the shower to hot, the water pressure would drop and would stop running. It's cheap but not worth it.

We booked a per friendly room for 1 dog and was initially given a room that was next to two loud barking dogs. I switched rooms because of the intense Urine smell and samples of the room.

The second room was cleaner, but very very dated. The hairdryer did not work and neither did the tv.

The exterior of hotel looked nothing like the pictures and i saw over a dozen dead and torn up pigeons.

The complimentary breakfast was precooked or frozen pancakes and egos?. Hard boiled eggs and some glop i assume was oatmeal in a crusty slow cooker. There was no fresh creamer for coffee, only powdered, and the other beverage was tang!! I did not partake in that nasty complimentary “food”

Although they accept pets i will never stay there again. I wouldn’t even want my dog there again

This hotel is nothing special. However the resort fee is much lower when compared to other hotels in the area.

So this makes it a nice choice when your on a budget.

The room is not great nothing special but was able to get a good nights sleep.

The elevator was a nightmare so had to take the stairs. I am sure the elevator was broken.

But other then that it was alright.

The suites in the hotel are very, very nice. Unfortunately we won't stay here again because of the cost. If you don't mind paying $30 for a drink poolside or not having any sun until after 2pm by the pool then go for it. It is definitely a first class place.

Nice hotel. Clean, cool and had an outside pool and spa. They'd a free shuttle bus to and from airport. There was a breakfast of runny porridge, pancakes and waffles with tea, coffee or some diluted juice. Everything was served on disposable plates and with disposable cutlery. Being Irish, this is strange and only served with take away foods back home. Fridge in room was welcome. Fresh towels and room cleaned everyday. Hotel is walkable to food outlets and the high roller.

For hotel suites, not motel,

it is truly lousy. The outside

grounds are dirty. You have

an immediate feel this place

is run down, truly shabby.

You get what you pay for?

Who told me to get such a

low price place? I realize now.

The lobby pictures looked

nice? I also realize now can

not go only by pictures. Its

breakfast are simple, nothing

specially wonderful. It does

have wifi for its resort fees.

No other luxuries, only basic

bath amenities. Certain staff

I encountered were friendly.

i will definitely not consider

this unpleasant Hotel Suites

again. Personally i had to get

used to its poor uncomfortable interiors. Room 1200 ..

The bed sheets were not

changed, with stains on one

of the beds. One of the

mattresses were sunken. This

meant it should not be used

anymore, right for good night

sleeps? I also cleaned bugs

from its bathroom. Can

imagine how relieved i be

when the stays are over

The Fortune is an older style hotel within easy walk of the strip. Yes it is showing some signs of its age but the rooms were clean, beds very comfy, breakfast had eggs/oatmeal/waffles/toast, etc, an outdoor heated spa, and easy access to parking. The front desk staff were really friendly and the housekeeping was helpful. To the other reviewers, yes, its a bit old, older style TVs, and room decor is dated, but that is fairly reflected in the room rate (especially compared to other hotels in the vicinity ).
The Truth is out there. Were here to keep it alive.

This is not a 3 star hotel. The rooms are super outdated and feel dirty. We booked a king suit through a 3rd party and after checking in and informing them we had a pet they downgraded the room. There are chunks of carpet missing and the front entrance has a completely different type of carpeting. I do not recommend you spend your money here.

Hotel condition is very poor, seems they are buying stuff from thrift stores, broken lamps, big fat old Tv, noisy hard spring mattress and floor is making huge vibration by gentle walk which is not safe. Door lock was not working properly. The pictures on the website are different from the actual.

Warning before you actually stay here , booked a room for my birthday but actually the pictures are very misleading. Looks completely different and sketch location!! People outside shooting up their dope . Definitely not a "great location" as claimed . Save your money and book elsewhere! They still tried charging me 32bucks for a cancel fee , never actually stayed there so I'm easily going to dispute that with .y back since they refused to waive it since I didn't feel safe staying there

TRAVELERS BE AWARE THERE ARE ROACHES and BEDBUGS in this fortune hotel & suites. The way they treat this huge problem is just to change you to a different room to shut you up and don't complain to a higher authority. BE AWARE THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS.

The hotel is definitely dated and old. Rooms are cheaper than most however. It does get bugs as ants was running around in the bathroom. There is also a 100 dollar cash deposit you had to pay instead of just using your debit card. I only stayed for two nights but definitely cant recommend this place.

They gave us a filthy room. When we entered the bed was torn up and the towels were everywhere and when we complained to get another room the room key didn't work and we were forced to walk back to the main desk to get another key. And low and behold the next key also didn't work! So we were forced to walk back and forth several times just to get into a room that we booked 3 months prior. All together it took close to 30mins just to get to a room. Very upset. Then once we finally got into our room which had a spa tub, there was no plug so...once again we were forced to call the front desk and complain. What an exhausting way to send our vacation. The service was terrible definitely won't be coming back. They should rename this the Misfortune Hotel.

The price is great for Las Vegas prices. I only needed something for less than 24 hrs I literally flew in and landed at 6 PM had a concert to attend at Caesars Palace at 9 PM and was checking out at 9am and flying to Phoenix Arizona, So I didn’t want to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars. A shuttle picks you up from the airport, when you land you call they pick you up it also runs around the clock to airport. The guy that picked me up was amazing very friendly I have to be honest the older gentleman that took me there the next day was awful to me very nasty and mean. The women at the front desk were so very helpful and sweet, I had a catastrophe from the beginning of my trip to the end of my trip and they were so accommodating to me. They were the best ever! Ty ladies! The breakfast in the morning is the best I’ve ever seen. Room was clean bed was comfortable. Like I said for the price this is definitely worth the stay. I will definitely be staying here again when I come in for a Vegas trip.

I like Fortune Hotel & Suites and I want to continue liking it. It is located close to the strip and it is inexpensive. That said I am willing to pay more if it would help improve the conditions of this aging wonder.

I stayed here in June 2019 on the first floor by the pool and we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, clean room, quiet and comfortable for a great price.

It is now Aug 2019 and this time we were surprised again but unfortunately the stay wasn't pleasant at all. This time we were placed on the 3rd floor pool side. The room was crawling. I mean there were roaches outside the room and a welcome party when we entered. The room and probably the entire third floor was in need of some TLC. We wanted to switch rooms but the front desk had a line past 12:30 am. Maybe others were trying to switch rooms also who knows. They only had one person on shift which is understandable. We slept on top of the sheets because they were stained. Kept our luggage closed and away from the walls so nothing came home with us.

I would still recommend this hotel for it's price and location but understand it is aging and falling apart and that the room you may get stuck with might already have inhabitants. If you're in Vegas Good luck---It is a gamble

You get what you pay for, but I mean that in a positive way. It's clean, comfortable, and we didn't have any issues or safety concerns while staying there. It is not fancy. Some minor things, like the curtains in our room, were damaged or broken, but not unusable. The breakfast will fill you up, but is unremarkable. But if your goal is to save money, which ours was, it's perfect. We would feel good about staying here again.

It is an OKAY hotel. Needs some improvements in the rooms.

Breakfast poor

No coffee anytime

No water in the lobby area unless you have $US cash so you can purchase.

There is air conditioner in the rooms.

Stuff is friendly

The pool is okay.

Needs more organized this place.
