Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport (MKE)

We stayed here as a park sleep fly for our vacation both prior to departure and get our midnight arrival! The staff was friendly at all times of the day! We loved the shuttle and as soon as we landed and called, our driver was there. We appreciated the shuttle aspect! Rooms were clean. Perfect option for before a trip!

Super hotel. I was there for a convention. Rooms were nice, but no maid service in between days. No need for it anyway. Staff was very friendly. There is a nice little snack and amenities shop, self service and self pay. The Starbucks on site was awesome as well.

I can’t comment on the rooms because I have not stayed here. I only utilize their parking service booked through a third-party, but what I can say as far as parking here for the airport, the service that is available for the shuttle bus is a real convenient and I’ve never had any problems. My car is safe.

Very nice place with very nice employees. They were very understanding too.

Slight hiccup upon checking in, but the staff was courteous and more than made up for the minor mishap. Beds were comfortable and room offered nice space. Only drawback was not enough counter space in the bathroom. Fitness center was awesome and spacious as well. Outside looks dated, but inside was modern and trendy...nice update!

If I could give this place a 10/5 stars I would!! The lady in the front desk named Christine was really nice to book a lovely room for me and my fiancée right away! She worked out a great price for us. This is by far the best hotel I ever been in! The People are so friendly and polite and the rooms are so beautiful! Thank you Christine for being #1! If I'm ever in the area again I'll be Definitely staying here!

Super clean, up to date technology, well appointed rooms comfy bed "room" area is separated from the living "room" by the bathroom by being between them. Both "rooms" have a TV and desk

Very nice hotel! They have a restaurant, Starbucks, and all kinds of stuff! Great for families and people passing through. Rooms are very beautiful and Christine at the front desk worked out a great price for me and my fiancé to get a room right away! I’ll definitely stay here again if we pass through! Christine is the best!! Everyone that works here greets you and they are very nice! Keep up the great work guys!! 10/10 stars haha

It's good would have given 5 stars but the TV's didn't work well and were kinda cheap with bad screens. Also i was put in a room with one of those doors next to someone and i could hear them talking and their hair dryer (thankfully nothing more! (They were kinda large ppl)

Nicole the Manager was absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond and is so kind. She even helped me with my IHG app and followed up with me weeks later to ensure I was satisfied. The hotel is also great with a massive pool for swimming laps and great hot tub. The pool is even heated and warm! Lots of hotels say it’s heated but then it’s cold. I recommend staying here with Nicole overseeing operations!!

Quiet place to stay. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Staff is polite. My room had a fridge but no microwave so that was a set back but not enough to ruin my trip. Would recommend for your stay.

Friendly staff. Bar and restaurant open. Grilled peppercorn steak sandwich was great. Bathroom very small in the King Executive room.

Great place to stay and park. No brainer

Great hotel. We stayed the night before our flight, and used the pool and hot tub. Also ate supper there, great food. Would use this hotel again before a flight hands down.

Clean hotel experience. Quick and easy check in/out experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. My room key stopped working the second night I was there and within minutes the staff was able to reprogram the key and get me on my way. Deffintaly would recommend.

Check In and Check Out are always painless and quick. Starbucks is def a Huge Plus as well as the Restaurant ( the name escapes me this second lol sorry!) Rooms are comfortable and cleanliness is Above and Beyond! The price is not ridiculously high , it's worth it for sure.

We did a park and fly with a shuttle to the airport. Our first room had water dripping from the ceiling from something someone did above us. They immediately gave us a new room. They tried to give us some drink coupons for the bar for the inconvenience. We felt that was't necessary and had an early flight out. It was a nice gesture though. It was quiet even though there was a huge party going on at the hotel. The shuttle was on time and easy to use, and the staff were all very nice. Will likely stay there again.

The staff at Crowne Plaza Milwaukee South were absolutely delightful from start to finish - and my stay something special. I had a small issue with my room, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of during my stay. I'd like to specifically shout out Dimitri (sp?) and Tom. Amazing service and would stay here again!

Staff was nice. Room was clean. Had everything I needed. The restaurant could have been better for the price. My steak wasn't cooked the way I requested and it was tough for $20 the asparagus was bitter and the mashed potatoes were so gross.

Everything I was looking for before an early flight. Started at the Clarion next door (which I strongly suggest avoiding) and ended up here. So glad I switched, I would gladly stay again.

My weekend stay was amazing! I traveled from Philadelphia to visit my boyfriend who’s a truck driver in Wisconsin. Rose that work at the front desk was so sweet and genuine, she made me feel at home❤️ The shuttle bus drivers Belinda and Terri made sure I got to and from the airport safely💕 Thank you so much ladies I will definitely be staying at the Crowne Plaza again when I come back to visit😊

Electricity was out for 29 hours we stayed here for two days! Oh man after working in the lumber yard all day and coming to this place and swimming, hot tub, and the restaurants steak, steak sandwich, chicken wings and fries were so delicious 😋 it was like a great vaca only down the street from our house 😂

This was a great location to the airport. The room was clean. There was a keurig and mini refrigerator to use. We swam in the pool/hot tub. I thought the price was right. If you're in the area and need a good night's sleep try Crowne Plaza Milwaukee.

Very nice hotel. From the outside it’s clearly an old building and maybe a little questionable as you approach but it is so clean and inviting immediately when you walk in. They did a great job and the bed was comfortable!

We booked the hotel for three nights. The room was well decorated and furnished so I do not have any complaint against it. The problem of the hotel was the amenities. Unfortunately, we didn’t check the amenities well. We thought that like other hotels such as La quinta or comfort suite, they will provide free breakfast. Also, there were not any microwave in the room. So, we couldn’t warm any of our leftovers. There was only one at the office. It was really hectic to be there with all the food back and forth. But the view from the room was good, the pool was absolutely fantastic.

Nice clean rooms had a small problem with heater maintenance was up in less than 10 minutes. Went down for breakfast sandwich very friendly young lady working. TV in room out dated very comfortable bed.

Very nice accommodations, spacious and clean. The hot tub was open and well needed. Pool was a bit cold but refreshing. Starbucks was nice. All the staff were extremely pleasant.

Great hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was great. Comfy bed. The only draw back was the water pressure in the shower could of been harder. Would stay here again.

This was the best hotel stay I had in years of traveling for work. Immediately, and we were greeted with friendly smiles from the staff. Our rooms were pretty spacious, clean, and very reasonably priced! We did have a clogged bathtub, and once we informed the staff at the front desk, they promptly took care of it! Dan was our maintenance man who fixed our clogged drain and the faucet. Very friendly and great service! The Starbucks employees are very sweet and friendly. The servers at the restaurants are very attentive, and so friendly. Will definitely be returning to this hotel when I stay in Milwaukee again!

I attended the UWM hand therapy conference, which is held there each May. The facility is always so clean and fresh. Impeccable service throughout the conference. They were very creative in maintaining proper safety with social distancing. I had a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

Room was clean. No laundry facilities, no continental breakfast. No free coffee in the lobby, they have a Starbucks, but it's only open in the morning. Had no problems receiving mail there.

Beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Desk & TV stand counter tops were not wiped down. Bathroom shower head was broken. AC worked great. Super friendly staff. There's a Starbucks in the hotel! The restaurant was delicious.

This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure!

Comfortable, clean, convenient airport hotel. My colleagues and I spent a short time at this location. Our business and flight schedule requiring accommodations near the airport. Due to our brief visit, my observation and experience with the hotel's amenities is limited. This is not a new property. The hotel has been remodeled, rehabbed and rebranded to a Crown Plaza. The hotel facilities appeared to be from several decades ago and most likely was built under a different brand ( my guess would be a Holiday Inn??) However, the hotel is clean and well maintained. The lobby and common guest areas have been remodeled and refurbished, giving a very pleasant welcoming experience. My guestroom was average size hotel room. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. My room included two double beds, large flat screen TV and mini-fridge. In my opinion, the bathroom needs attention and serious upgrades. Although I believe it was completely clean, the age of the bathroom fixtures and features gave me not the most pleasant experience. In addition, I would have appreciated much hotter water for my shower and shave. The hotel has a restaurant, but I didn't have a chance to dine. The hotel has a very nice gift shop adjacent the lobby and front desk. I didn't make a purchase, but I did visit and look around. It was well stocked and had a nice selection of food, beverage and toiletries. The check in and departure process was very pleasant and efficient. Both the evening and morning front desk staff was wonderful. Very friendly, polite and professional. The hotel provides a complimentary airport service. Departing the hotel early morning went perfect; shuttle on-time and very pleasant, safe ride with an excellent driver. The only issue my colleagues and I experienced with the shuttle was on arrival at Milwaukee. Upon our flight arrival we called the hotel for pickup. Unfortunately, it took approximately 35 - 40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. Ordinarily, this is just a small inconvenience issue. However, waiting outside in winter temperatures hovering around 10 degrees and ice/snow on the ground, it was quite uncomfortable (especially for me, being a Florida resident!) Once the shuttle arrived the driver never offered any explanation for the delay. The drive is only about 10 minutes, but seemed an eternity as the evening driver was driving very fast in winter conditions and playing very loud music. In conclusion, this hotel is perfect for short-term stays, especially if you need accommodations near General Mitchell International Airport.

Traveling in a post-pandemic era, my expectations for this property were low. American "delayed" my flight until the next day and provided a complimentary room. The shuttle bus driver was professional, friendly & prompt. The room was clean, spacious & well-equipped with decent wifi.



When you have an airport-centric property, the operation of the shuttle bus to the airport is an integral part of the stay and I've had some bad experiences elsewhere. The morning shuttle driver was just as professional, friendly & prompt. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I attended a party event that took place at this hotel & decided to stay here last minute. When I had called earlier in the day to book a room through the 1-800 they were really not as helpful so I did not book a room in advance. However, when I arrived to the hotel the front desk staff was great, they were helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean! & The Starbucks barista was very kind as well. I really enjoyed my stay and will be staying here again in the future.

Location is convenient to the airport; however, options for food are limited in the immediate area.  Arrived late in the evening and was told by the staff - the lobby "Starbucks" would be open in the morning - unfortunately it was closed during my stay.  The hilighted pros are the rooms were clean, comfortable firm beds with nice large pillows. Linens were soft and offered a nice weight when under the blankets eg. - not too thin or too heavy. The in room climate controls  provided immediate results.

Christine is absolutely a delight to talk to! Exceptional service 👏😁! Quincy in maintenance was such a goofy, gentleman and very knowledgeable! So helpful.

Four stars only because pool is small and no breakfast served...Starbucks is on site tho....

Very attractive lobby & rooms, however it was a little basic. We stayed in a Worklife Suite & it was nice, clean & comfy, just a little small for a suite (in my opinion). The bed was HEAVEN however. The room had a balcony but it was screwed shut for safety reasons which wasn't a big deal because it was windy & cold as can be outside.



The bathroom was very clean but also very strange. There were no towel holders, the shower had glass sliding doors & at one point my husband got stuck in the shower because of an odd door handle placement 😅



The pool was awesome. It was HUGE & 5' deep so that was pretty cool. Hot tub was nice & hot. No complaints.



All in all, I would stay again. Wouldn't b my first choice but it also wouldn't be my last by any means.

Fantastic staff! They pulled off a heroic save for my 9 yr old who left her stuffed animal in the hotel. I called from the airport and the front desk had housekeeping check and find the stuffed animal and then sent it with the shuttle driver to us at the airport. We had a little time to spare so it worked out perfectly and my daughter is so happy! Thank you Crowne Plaza Staff!!!
