Used coffee filter left in coffee pot and no fresh coffee available. Only one spoon and fork. Only 2 shampoos and conditioner in shower.. No shower gel. And bag of molded bread in the cabinet. Extremely disappointed with this property. Not the standard I'm used to at other Candlwood properties.
Staff is friendly and very nice to work with,, but,, For a 3 star hotel, this is in sad shape! One or two patches on a wall is ok, but when there are dozens, seriously! I really expected better. Needs a face-lift badly!
Would give this place minus stars if possible. Had a reservation booked through official IHG site. I’m a gold member. Arrived at 8:30pm on a rainy Saturday night and they informed us they had no room for us! Didn’t offer to do anything then lied about calling me!! He even admitted he lied about calling (no message. No record of call). Sketchy looking guys blocking handicap parking outside smoking pot. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!! Book at your own risk. I will avoid IHG hotels (this brand, Holiday Inn and others in the future).
Would have been 5 stars but the body wash was empty. We arrived too late at night to have it filled and just used shampoo for soap. Friendly staff. Clean room and safe area.
Overall we had a good experience, but i won't give the 5 stars for 2 reasons: First, when checked in the room was "clean" but the trash can was full and there was coffee on the floor next to the trash can, and second issue was that i spoke to who i believe was a manager or supervisor in charge (a gentleman) I asked if there was any filters for the coffee maker, he offered to bring me some to our room, but never did! I think that is lack of courtesy, at least a call to the room if they didn't have any available...it was not a big deal! I will rate this hotel with a 7 out of 10...
Room was nice and was very spacious. Here’s the problem...They are pet friendly which is great but they allow pets in ALL
rooms. So if you have allergies then DO NOT stay here. Rooms are not cleaned properly. If I could attach a picture I would show you the couch COVERED in DOG HAIR, sides, bottom, cushions, and arms of the furniture COVERED!
We needed to make a quick overnight stop (husband, son and myself). I called around 10pm and was quoted $64 with plenty of space. When we arrived at midnight it was a different woman than I spoke to and she wasn’t friendly. She acted as though there were no rooms and we ended up pay $92 ($76 plus taxes) for our room. The room had sticky floors and no shower curtain. Literally no shower curtain at all in the room. The staff was nicer in the morning. They also didn’t have breakfast so I’ll be making a note to stay somewhere else that better fits what we paid for with a breakfast next time.
Very nice place. Had trouble with door key. Desk manager personally took care of it inclyding walking up to room to check keys. Very good P.R. thx
The place is clean, the staff are friendly and available at the front desk, I especially love the full size refrigerator in my room giving me the ability to refreeze my ice packs for travel.
Front desk staff is really nice but the only person to help all guest in hotel. Thus is just a place sleep and get back on the road. Dont expect high service....
I was on the pet wing. It wasn't very clean. There was t.p. stuffed into the smoke alarm, the trash wasn't emptied & there was old dog pee stain on carpet. ☹ But the staff was very friendly. My husband loved the bed.

Two stars because they are pet friendly. This place was dirty and smelly. The floors were sticky, the bathroom smelled like they reused a dirty cleaning cloth, the pillow smelled like sweat . Not that we used it but the stove top was broken. Glad I brought my Lysol Wipes and flip-flops. During covid this shouldn't happen.
I really really enjoyed my stay. Staff doesn't bother you. The halls smelled of smoke but I still give it a good rating. Clean and quiet place.
This hotel is beautiful. You have a full size refrigerator, little stove, in the room also. The room is a decent size. It was cleaned.
Disappointed in showing up around midnight which was coordinated over the phone only to find no vacancy upon arrival. Luckily there were plenty of choices in the area but only a few hours earlier I was told they had availability. C'mon Candlewood, you can do better.
This hotel was lovely! Clean rooms, beautiful area, superb staff. Due to COVID, the hotel is operating at half staff, but you would not have been able to tell by the cleanliness and hospitality. Rachelle was especially lovely because we came in late from a long drive and she ensured we and our pets were extremely comfortable. We will be back for our next stay in Savannah!
Room is good for the price... A/C unit though is constantly on and off loud humming so it's hard to get a good sleep. Definitely do not recommend if you can't sleep with noises because I tried sleeping twice once earlier after checking in and again tonight and there is no luck for me getting a good sleep before checking out. I must say thank goodness I booked the room for only 1 day for a quick visit in and out of Savannah and not for a full weekend or extended stay. Front desk couldn't tell me much on how to fix it other than turn it off (but the room will get extremely hot) which we tried that and definitely got super hot, front desk suggested
Changing rooms at 1:30am but no thats not a decent hour for that. Also this is a pet friendly place, in case you missed it.
