Can't go with family to take off terminal but there is a restaurant and seating up stairs to visit right outside. It was quick and easy, not to crowded. It cost about 4$ to park and we stayed for about an hour before my husband took off. Beautiful, clean, friendly!

Small airport with everything in one level including car rental, departure and arrival. It’s very convenient and close to downtown. They had one coffee shop/food counter near gate 4 but the service was terribly slow. Go there early before boarding or your plane will leave before your latte is ready!

4 or 5 gates? The easiest airport I’ve been too in my travels. TSA, you’ll be the only one in line.

There is a restaurant, but nothing else. You really don’t need to arrive so early at this airport. You’ll be to your gate in 10 minutes from drop off (or less).

This is a clean, well maintained, and friendly airport! This is in part due to it's small size and low number of staff. I would definably recommend flying through this airport over driving to Atlanta or Nashville (if possible).

Absolutely love this airport. Nice to see that they are renovating the security section. TSA was actually nice to me. I think this is the first time I have ever actually had TSA be nice to me before. Amazing. No yelling or screaming at passengers. It really makes the whole experience much more enjoyable. Not much in the way of food here but everything else makes up for it.

Lovely small airport with some very nice staff. For a small airport they are 100 % the most disorganized airport though Signage isn’t up to date. However the friendliness of everyone helping makes up for it. Food court inside has really good food. Mercury taxi downstairs was fabulous!! Ask for Mark! 100% reliable and very nice.

The airport accommodations have improved vastly since the early 2010s. More convenient covered parking, a more streamlined security gate process, and expansion of gates. The only gripe may be that the amount of direct flights are limited. Bring back the NYC direct and maybe direct to Toronto.

I don't normally write reviews for airports, but I do feel like Chattanooga Airport doesn't get enough kudos.

This is one of the easiest airports to get in and out of. The newly added parking garage allowed the rental companies to store more vehicles and have allow for convenient access. If you're national you no longer have to go to the desk and can instead walk to the garage. You still need to talk to someone as there isn't an exit barrier, but the process is much easier!

The expanded parking structure allows for a much higher capacity. This expanded lot makes parking a breeze, compared to the original two smaller single level lots. Chattanooga is clearly planning for a bright future and is making sure they are ready before the wave hits.

Typically baggage gets from the plane to the belt within fifteen minutes, which is incredibly fast. It seems longer because the airport is small and easy to navigate. I tend to grab my rental and by the time I am done my bag is on the belt waiting.

The check in and baggage drop offs are never too busy allowing you to quickly drop off luggage and get going to your plane. Everyone is always friendly even the TSA! With the new baggage 3D imaging machine the precheck process is even easier!

Honestly this is a great little local airport and has a few nice direct options to key hubs! For what this airport is it's one of the nicest small airports I've had the pleasure of flying out of.

I think this airport is actually great, smaller than the rest but that makes the pick up and drop off easier. It would be nice if there was a pick up parking lot or area so we are not all trying to fit by the curb. In one line…. From one end of the airport to the other. I went in to use the bathroom once the person I was picking up had gotten to me… the bathrooms were very clean and the lobby was very clean as well with cars displayed for all to see. Might be nice if it were not so quiet in there, maybe a little bit of something to break the silence…🤷‍♀️ oh one more thing that I think would be nice to have a few more no smoking signs out infront of the airport, where you pick up and drop off. I’m not sure that I seen one to be honest, I’m sure they have one but , like I said I didn’t see it… as well as more signs to tell you they as well should have a designated area that people can walk to without leaving the whole area and then to come back too that does not cost, maybe a parking lot … just something. The lady I picked up was told to go to the area for smoking. Well I’m not sure where that was bc I didn’t see any signs saying smoking permitted here or anything like that…. Outside of the cell phone parking lot… and then the exit to leave the airport completely. So just food for thought…. The airport entrance, I feel as well needs updating, a bit confusing when you’re trying to drop off ..

Small regional Airport, nice and clean compared to bigger crowded airport. You can breathe nice and easy, plenty seating areas, not much of an option for eating besides one small coffee shop. Car rental easy to navigate just across the baggage claim. TSA seems like nicer and cleaner with up-to date high tech equipment.

Seemed like this airport is still under development stage.

Much better than TYS in Knoxville. Having many flight routes. The parking lots are huge and also cheap, I only paid $2 for 45 minutes of parking. The toilets are clean.

Super small airport with just one concourse and eight gates. That being said, you certainly can't get lost here. Very easy to get around, and very efficient. No frills, no long waits. Really can't complain.

I live in Cartersville and hate the drive to the Atlanta Airport so I flew out of Chattanooga for the first time. I love that Airport. It is easy to get to, no congested traffic, parking was accessible, the staff was pleasant and helpful. I'll be back Chattanooga!

This is my first time at the airport. I was sending my teenager on a school trip. There is short term parking near the entrance to the building. I'll attach a photo of the cost of short term parking. You pay for your parking inside at the kiosk. I was able to roam the airport up to the section upstairs where there is a TSA checkpoint. There is an honor system library (donation drop box) with adult and kid's books. Artwork and auto mobiles are on display. I love how this airport didn't look crowded. I didn't see a place for those who don't have an airline ticket could eat

Truly the most friendly airport staff I’ve ever been to. Love the new expansion! Eight (8) gates… what’s next… airline clubs? 😉

This is my first time to travel through this airport and let me tell you, it is amazing. It is certainly small with 5 gates only and 3 coming soon, but it is super clean and friendly. The lines are short and the people very friendly. Prices are dropping to fly out of here and I prefer it so far to Atlanta and Nashville. I recommend flying out of here if you can.

I love flying to and from this airport. It is just big enough. Security is thorough and professional, but polite. Flying from here appears to cost me more, but it really doesn't. If I fly from Atlanta, I have to drive down the day before and stay in a hotel to make sure I can arrive in time for my flight. Then, there's a parking fee. Traffic around Atlanta is AWFUL. I could take a shuttle service, but the end cost is the same. I am happy to pay a little more for the ease of flying from my own hometown. Do the comparison, see if it works for you.

When we travel, sometimes overlooked is the time you spend waiting at the airport.

Chattanooga’s regional airport provides all the needs of a traveler without any of the hassle. The parking is close, the counter staff are friendly, the security check is reasonable and the waiting area is both clean and comfortable.

Recently my nephew was traveling and the security agent recommended a gate pass for me to travel with him. What a great suggestion and a reflection of all the staff I’ve encountered here.

Always easy access to and from the terminal. We fly here because of the convenience and cost is usually on par or better than driving to an airport out of town. The farthest long term parking is still closer than many short term lots. The pace has picked up a bit over the years so we give ourselves a little more time to check in and get through security but again better than major airports around. The recent addition of the parking garage has fixed the crowded parking lot. They have also added a cell phone lot to have a place to wait for incoming flights.

The Chattanooga Airport was a very convenient experience. Before our visit, we always had to go to the Atlanta airport and that is an entirely other situation. The staff are nice, getting tickets/checked in is extremely easy, and making it through the gate was safe! If you are in the North GA/Chattanooga area I suggest flying with Chattanooga Airport 😊

Edit: I went again today to pick up a friend and it was even better! Last time they lost her luggage and it was a mess to deal with. But this time it was a lot better even though I had high things to say last time lol

My husband just flew out of Chattanooga and they were short staffed in the restaurant. A young man named Stephen was working the front alone and never stopped smiling, used the kindest words and served everyone happily. We just wanted to say thank you to him. He made the travel experience so nice!

One of the better mid-sized airports I've experienced. Good staff, good TSA agents, clean and welcoming facility. Only knock is that you have to be sure to arrive early to ensure you have time be sure the counter agents haven't made their way to the gate. Lean staff that run both baggage check-in and gate.

I used to drive or shuttle to ATL but some years ago realized CHA was so much easier. No line this morning at Delta checkin or TSA.

I recently had the pleasure of flying out of Chattanooga airport, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The check-in process was incredibly easy and fast, surpassing my expectations. Unlike most airports where you need to arrive two hours prior to your flight, I found myself confidently strolling in just an hour before departure.

The efficiency of the airport staff was commendable. The check-in counters were well-organized, with friendly and helpful personnel guiding passengers through the process. I was swiftly checked in and received my boarding pass without any hassle. The whole experience was seamless and stress-free.

The security screening was also a breeze. The lines moved quickly, and the TSA officers were professional and courteous. I appreciated their dedication to maintaining the safety of all passengers while ensuring a smooth and expedited screening process.

Once past security, I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities and services available. The airport had a decent selection of shops, restaurants, and cafes, providing ample choices for a quick meal or last-minute shopping. The seating areas were comfortable and well-maintained, with charging stations readily available to recharge electronic devices.

Overall, Chattanooga airport offers a refreshing departure experience. The convenience of a quick and efficient check-in process, coupled with friendly staff and a variety of amenities, makes it stand out among other airports. Whether you're a frequent traveler or an occasional flyer, I highly recommend Chattanooga airport for its hassle-free and enjoyable travel experience.

The airport for the most part was awesome, inside was clean and comfortable, the staff was pleasant.

The only negative was noticed as I waited outside for pickup.

I noticed that all of the outdoor trash cans were leaking and staining the front entry area. The smell was not very inviting and it is a shame.

Keeping the community's investment clean and maintained is important.
