Awesome room... Great customer service... And super convenient location
No towels in pool area, forced to walk to front desk dripping wet to get towels.
Business center computers didnt work or print properly.
☆ for breakfast on time
☆ for digital keys and shuttle
☆ for social time w beer and wine
Great hotel overall but had some things missing from the room. Microwave glass plate, pots and pans for kitchen etc. AC did not cool as fast as I wanted but they had a ceiling fan to move the air better in our room which was very welcome.
Hot breakfast was great! Just watch out for people who don't care about the safety of others. Not the hotels fault but the guy in front of me dropped bacon on the table then picked it up with his bare hands and threw it back in with the rest if the bacon. I told the staff and they replaced it with a fresh batch.
I’m honestly very disappointed in this particular location. We are Diamond members and have stayed in Hilton’s internationally and throughout the United States and this one continues to disappoint. The first time we stayed we found people’s clothes in the corner behind the bed and food all over the floor. We didn’t mention anything because people are human and things can be missed. The second stay, months later our room was worse. Food on the floor, dirty doors, trash on the bed and the microwave was absolutely revolting. We decided to mention this to Jin at the front desk. She told us there was nothing she could do because we checked in two hours ago and didn’t mention it upon arrival. We are military and we literally dropped bags off in the room and went to eat after moving all day. Make sure you check your rooms before you do anything!
Edited to respond: the reservation is under my spouses name: Kyle Morrison
My family and I were relocating to texas. We stay at this facility for 7 weeks and we were made to feel us like family. The rooms accommodate 5 well. Morning breakfast were good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to your request. Great location to airport and attractions. Stores, grocery all within 2 miles away.
Right from the moment we landed at the check in, we felt very unwelcome. We do realize there's a shortage of staff in hospitality industry, so not having housekeeping was not an issue. But the curt behavior of staff, unclean room at arrival, not agreeing to a late checkout ( agreed we are just used to the perk as diamond members and were counting on it ) . Overall regret staying here
I checked out of my room today and I was very disappointed with my stay. I have worked and stayed in Hilton Hotels in the past and I had never experienced anything like this. First of all, the restroom had a foul smell like strong urine. I called front desk to address my concern and the young lady mentioned that someone from housekeeping would stop by the room and take care of it. We arrived back to our room in tbe evening and the whole room still had that smell. No one had gone by to clean. The duvet had blood on it, the pillows had a strange old smell, the sofabed has a urine stain, the desk chair was filthy. There is more to this, but my question is, how does the Hilton Corp allow this? It's really unacceptable.😡👎
Disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The super-special enhanced cleaning really doesn't extend beyond a sticker on the door. The white ceiling fan above the bed was dark gray with dirt and grime. The removable air conditioning filters had clearly not been removed in a while--they had about a half-inch coating of dust and dirt.
The hotel room are very spacious and clean. The room had a small kitchen (dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, and microwave). A family of 5 to 8 can easily occupy the room on vacation
Good service. Rooms are nice and roomy and clean.
The room was mostly clean, it was wonderfully quiet, and the bed was soft.
The Covid-19 friendly breakfast was disappointing but the cost per room was acceptable.
This place is old and therefore it needs a whole remodel!! There was dust on the headboard and ceiling fan.... the mirror had a smaller mirror taped onto it and it had sharp ends on it... the light over the stove didn't work.. the plugs had been blocked and I could not plug in my flat iron.... the wallpaper in the bathroom was bubbling up around the edges... and to top it off, the phone on the bedroom wasn't even plugged in nor did it have a cord to plug it in... I am very disappointed and will never stay here again and I don't recommend it to anyone!! The manager tried to imply that I should have told them even though the little sticker on the door said that the room was inspected and was ready to go!! Here's the Manager and honestly did not accommodate me like she should have😡
The hotel and room is nice but here is your despicable breakfast. The excuse of Covid is not an excuse for low standards and no quality breakfast.
Homewood is known for their food (breakfast and dinner), this is the second time I’ve stayed at one and the other started making hot food in late July.
Their website misleads you to think there is a normal breakfast - nope. There is also no dinner.
I’m told that the Embassy has a full spread - stay there. I regret staying here as now we have to go pay for breakfast somewhere else.
Thanks for nothing. And your sister hotels didn't help. If it was possible to give this hotel zero stars I would.
We reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights there on 15 February. They moved us to the neighboring Hilton Garden Hotel. Problem is, they told Hilton Gardens that we rented 2 rooms for 1 night. Because of the storm, we knew we couldn't drive back to North Carolina. So we extended a day NOT KNOWING we were paying AGAIN for a night that were led to believe was already paid for. When we were told we had to leave, that's when we were notified of the mistake by THIS hotel. To avoid being out in the cold in a city that was basically shut down, we had to shell out $240 more.
The manager was the worst!!! She told my niece that "she was in charge. And mo matter who you call (even corporate), it would still come back to her."
Basically, you are wasting your time complaining.
A 18 hour drive to a funeral just for not only an Ice storm, but also on the verge of having to sleep in a cold car with my family.
I'm a Marriott guy. I wanted to try Hilton. You can keep it. I'll stick with Marriott!
Yeah, thanks for nothing.👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿 (just in case the emojis don't show up, I'm 5 thumbs down).
Front desk person and manager were extremely rude. I had a reservation but arrived before check in at 3:00 p.m. I was told that I could not check into my room early and that I was not allowed to wait in the lobby. It was 30 degrees outside!!! The manager refused to speak to me and the only offer I received was to have my reservation canceled which I gladly accepted. I won't be back.
There were rooms available, the front desk person confirmed it. I was not offered early check in, I was told that I would have to pay for an extra night in order to check in a few hours early.
I didnt even make it to the room yet and the customer service worst customer service i have ever experience. I asked to talk to the mgr and she stated one would maybe call me. This place is a dump. Cant wait to see the inside.
Worst stay I have ever experienced at a homewood suites. The management changed our room without telling us. The reason why they did was because the door was broken to the suite. The room that they put us into did not meet our family needs. I then asked to have adjoining rooms and the manager said they didn’t have any. She counter offered and said she could put us in two separate rooms non adjoining but who in the world wants to be separated from their family. I certainly don’t want to be departed from my husband. She offered to find me a different hotel. I said as long as she could pay for an Uber and help me move all of our bags. She refused. I then asked to be compensated for two nights because none of my requests were granted and she said no. If you look on the reviews on here look at the one dated nine months ago. The man Milton had a similar issue where he was not given the room he requested.
I am sure the manager will write a response to this saying how angry I was and how I yelled. I did tell in the lobby but I never used foul language. No one has apologized about the mistake. I was told that what they did was right because we were given a room in the same category. The manager also said it’s just a door that you are upset about. I have five children and the room that I planned out had a separate living room. So my kids could be separated. It might have been just a door to her but to us it was so much more. It was privacy. Now we have to be inconvenienced and change our clothes in the bathroom so our kids don’t see us naked. This is just a complete mess and I feel so devalued. And disappointed. I walked away from the desk and the manager and front desk worker was talking about us. There was no apology ever. I just can’t believe their behavior.
Going bk for 1 more night...I'll tell y'all later.
Room was big and comfortable. Very clean. I am traveling during Covid times and breakfast sucks compare to Hyatt hotel. I had a service dog and they asked me to not walk the dog through the lobby, because there are a lot of people allergic to dogs. Plus in the pet policy it states that I can not walk my dog in the lobby as I was reviewing the policy with the attendant. The A/C worked all night to cool the room from 75F to 69F.

Cleaniness: Clean but dingy property
Front Desk Customer Service: Staff is nice and helpful
Covid-19 process: 6ft apart, Housekeeping will not enter your room during these times.
Housekeeping: Friendly and nice
Parking: $31.75 daily Valet only property
No free parking in the downtown area.
Star staus: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ due to lobby doesn't compare to rooms. Rooms are a little dated.
Just OK… When I called you explained that there would be juices and pastries and oatmeal but when I find that Hampton serves warm breakfast so I guess each hotel chooses whether to serve warm breakfast in the Hilton group...We found our room to be sorta clean lots of dust hairs in the kitchen and hairs in the bathtub kitchen floor was dirty.... makes me scared to stay at a hotel that has not been thoroughly cleaned… Front desk attendants were so nice and kind I felt sorry for someone having to represent Hilton when they weren’t really all there…like Hilton says they were ready but they really are not...
I’m sorry it wasn’t good like the Bed was dirty and like the bed couch was with baby wipes that were dirty and the bed was like not clean at all and we had to wait like one hour to get our room and we came early and like told us to wait 30 min and we wait 1 hour and it just wasn’t good at all and The room wasn’t clean at all I had to clean the mess of the baby wipes and I did talk to the front office and like I took pictures of it also so yeah I have the proof
Nice clean place. Meals are limited due to Corona, but rooms are nice, clean, and well taken care of.
Very good and spacious rooms. You can stay here for a while and even cook in to avoid going elsewhere. Food is kind of far and what is near is drive through only. If you don't have a car you can't eat pretty much.
