Thanks for nothing. And your sister hotels didn't help. If it was possible to give this hotel zero stars I would.
We reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights there on 15 February. They moved us to the neighboring Hilton Garden Hotel. Problem is, they told Hilton Gardens that we rented 2 rooms for 1 night. Because of the storm, we knew we couldn't drive back to North Carolina. So we extended a day NOT KNOWING we were paying AGAIN for a night that were led to believe was already paid for. When we were told we had to leave, that's when we were notified of the mistake by THIS hotel. To avoid being out in the cold in a city that was basically shut down, we had to shell out $240 more.
The manager was the worst!!! She told my niece that "she was in charge. And mo matter who you call (even corporate), it would still come back to her."
Basically, you are wasting your time complaining.
A 18 hour drive to a funeral just for not only an Ice storm, but also on the verge of having to sleep in a cold car with my family.
I'm a Marriott guy. I wanted to try Hilton. You can keep it. I'll stick with Marriott!
Yeah, thanks for nothing.👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿 (just in case the emojis don't show up, I'm 5 thumbs down).
Front desk person and manager were extremely rude. I had a reservation but arrived before check in at 3:00 p.m. I was told that I could not check into my room early and that I was not allowed to wait in the lobby. It was 30 degrees outside!!! The manager refused to speak to me and the only offer I received was to have my reservation canceled which I gladly accepted. I won't be back.
There were rooms available, the front desk person confirmed it. I was not offered early check in, I was told that I would have to pay for an extra night in order to check in a few hours early.
I didnt even make it to the room yet and the customer service worst customer service i have ever experience. I asked to talk to the mgr and she stated one would maybe call me. This place is a dump. Cant wait to see the inside.
Worst stay I have ever experienced at a homewood suites. The management changed our room without telling us. The reason why they did was because the door was broken to the suite. The room that they put us into did not meet our family needs. I then asked to have adjoining rooms and the manager said they didn’t have any. She counter offered and said she could put us in two separate rooms non adjoining but who in the world wants to be separated from their family. I certainly don’t want to be departed from my husband. She offered to find me a different hotel. I said as long as she could pay for an Uber and help me move all of our bags. She refused. I then asked to be compensated for two nights because none of my requests were granted and she said no. If you look on the reviews on here look at the one dated nine months ago. The man Milton had a similar issue where he was not given the room he requested.
I am sure the manager will write a response to this saying how angry I was and how I yelled. I did tell in the lobby but I never used foul language. No one has apologized about the mistake. I was told that what they did was right because we were given a room in the same category. The manager also said it’s just a door that you are upset about. I have five children and the room that I planned out had a separate living room. So my kids could be separated. It might have been just a door to her but to us it was so much more. It was privacy. Now we have to be inconvenienced and change our clothes in the bathroom so our kids don’t see us naked. This is just a complete mess and I feel so devalued. And disappointed. I walked away from the desk and the manager and front desk worker was talking about us. There was no apology ever. I just can’t believe their behavior.
Going bk for 1 more night...I'll tell y'all later.
Room was big and comfortable. Very clean. I am traveling during Covid times and breakfast sucks compare to Hyatt hotel. I had a service dog and they asked me to not walk the dog through the lobby, because there are a lot of people allergic to dogs. Plus in the pet policy it states that I can not walk my dog in the lobby as I was reviewing the policy with the attendant. The A/C worked all night to cool the room from 75F to 69F.

Cleaniness: Clean but dingy property
Front Desk Customer Service: Staff is nice and helpful
Covid-19 process: 6ft apart, Housekeeping will not enter your room during these times.
Housekeeping: Friendly and nice
Parking: $31.75 daily Valet only property
No free parking in the downtown area.
Star staus: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ due to lobby doesn't compare to rooms. Rooms are a little dated.
Just OK… When I called you explained that there would be juices and pastries and oatmeal but when I find that Hampton serves warm breakfast so I guess each hotel chooses whether to serve warm breakfast in the Hilton group...We found our room to be sorta clean lots of dust hairs in the kitchen and hairs in the bathtub kitchen floor was dirty.... makes me scared to stay at a hotel that has not been thoroughly cleaned… Front desk attendants were so nice and kind I felt sorry for someone having to represent Hilton when they weren’t really all there…like Hilton says they were ready but they really are not...
I’m sorry it wasn’t good like the Bed was dirty and like the bed couch was with baby wipes that were dirty and the bed was like not clean at all and we had to wait like one hour to get our room and we came early and like told us to wait 30 min and we wait 1 hour and it just wasn’t good at all and The room wasn’t clean at all I had to clean the mess of the baby wipes and I did talk to the front office and like I took pictures of it also so yeah I have the proof
Nice clean place. Meals are limited due to Corona, but rooms are nice, clean, and well taken care of.
Very good and spacious rooms. You can stay here for a while and even cook in to avoid going elsewhere. Food is kind of far and what is near is drive through only. If you don't have a car you can't eat pretty much.
