A very clean and modern airport. Baggage claim is quick and easy, and signage is clear. The washrooms were clean, well designed, and private. Overall, a very nice facility to fly in or out of!

It's fairly easy to get into and out of this airport. The workers aren't the most friendly people in the world. That includes the food concession workers. If these people smiled, their faces might crack.

The renovated concourse is great; well laid out, modern and clean. The working stations are a plus.
TSA space is constrained and gets easily backed up.
New scanning machines make it easy not having to take electronics out but now the screening agents spend way more time looking at each bag on the screen.

Memphis airport probably has one of the fastest TSA check. I’ve been through the TSA check twice when flying with American Airline. Both times the TSA process was super quick and I went in within 3-5 min. I really liked the fact that I didn’t need to put my laptop and tablet in a different bin. I was allowed to keep them in my bag.
There are many beautiful art pieces around the airport. Every seat is also a charger. Which was amazing.

Huge improvement over the last year / year and a half. Terminal is large, bright, roomy. Bathrooms are always clean. It's refreshing to go through this airport. It's quite a hike from the terminal to the car rentals, but there are moving sidewalks.

Great airport with updated terminal. Living in Orlando it’s nice to go to an airport that isn’t so crazy busy. There are plenty of great restaurant options. Great art work! Very clean. Cool bathrooms!
Memphis might be the best long weekend city in America. So fly in eat some BBQ, go to the National Civil Rights museum, and go to Graceland!

It's a medium size airport. You should check on departing or landing at Nashville for saving.
Staff and facilities are nice and clean.
It is not a busy airport. My experience has been that check-in takes around 30-45min.
There's a cellphone lot. You can park there and remain in your car, and wait for pickup or drop off. It is free, and you get to see FedEx's airplanes.
Long term parking can be found cheaper around the airport. Do your homework and you will find them.

Although my flight was rerouted and delayed when I landed here it felt nice to get off the plane to clean floors and some air conditioning! The bathroom was okay didn’t have enough sinks so had to wait a second to wash hands. It was easy to find the exit and get picked up up front.

Like how big this airport is. Seems to be efficient and well maintained. Had some nice art and offered those moving walkways for those who have trouble walking long distances or jus too jet lag to function. The airport was very clean, spacious and welcoming.

Nice, clean, modern, new terminal. Seats at gates are comfortable and most have modern, no plug plates in chair arms for charging for your cellphone. Also has USB A ports. Hitech gate information displays. Modern and clean bathrooms with notouch sinks, faucets, and air dryers. Rental car facility is a long, long walk!

As a business traveler, I've seen my share of airports. Memphis was a first, and I must say it was one of the cleanest I've ever seen. The restroom floors were like glass from the sparkle. The sinks were of a genius design and one I've never seen before. The soap, water, and air for drying were designed so that all 3 were accessible from what we would normally call a faucet. I didn't take a photo as there was someone waiting in line, but I do wish I had waited. Update: I got a picture when I returned for departure.

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS!
What a great place. I’ve seen this airport make an incredible transformation from decades of the previous version to a new, modern, updated airport that’s beautiful and unique.
Tons of light, updated finishes and services, and great seating. I love the new MEM.

We like traveling through the Memphis Airport! The self park is really accessible to all the ticketing and security, a daily rate for parking is more affordable than a Nashville airport, and I just have to say they have the cleanest restrooms of any airport I’ve ever been in Lol

Let's talk about the Memphis airport. It does what it needs you to do and that's fly in and fly out. Now it's small and gets you in and out quickly. Or to the best of its ability. But don't mistake it's size. It pumps people in and out. It's a hub for this part of TN. I love the art on the outside where you pick up the baggage. Also it's clean, always someone cleaning the bathrooms. I will say this airport does not have a USO. They have a military lounge. Which consists only of a few lounger chairs about 3. Then a huge conference table with chairs around it. So if your military and traveling don't expect much. The lounge is there in the middle of the terminal so are able to reach your gate easily no matter which side it's on. If you get stuck overnight go in and try and sleep the next you can.

I was pleasantly surprised upon my late night arrival to the Memphis International Airport by the interior design, airiness, brightness, and artwork displayed throughout. I felt by the artwork displayed I was in for a treat during my short visit for what is to come. The airport was easy to maneuver through and it hosted several features of enhanced design I appreciated, like arm rests with charging integrated. Thank you for making my travels better MEM.

Hands down one of the cleanest and best run airports in the US. This airport is small but mighty. As the FedEx hub, it sees a lot of flights each day. The terminal is newer and very clean. The staff is always helpful. TSA lines are extremely short no matter what time or day I fly out of here. TSA agents are professional, unlike other airports I've been to. There are a few good food and drink options from Chili's, Chick-fil-a, Starbucks, Grizz Grill, and Lenny's subs, to name a few. The bathrooms are always clean! Each chair at the gate has a charger port. You never have to struggle to charge your devices. Great airport!

Love this place. Nice, clean, updated, easy to get in and out of. Appreciate everybody at and behind Memphis International. Including FedEx and everything Fred has done for this town and this world... but i don't fly FedEx so we'll leave that for another review

The updates and renovations are still underway, but this airport has come a long way. It looks good. The restrooms are clean and efficient. The staff are friendly (for the most part). There are a few good food options. I'm waiting to see what will be available in the other terminals when they are finished.

Nice little airport. I walked right past everything after getting off the plane. I was happy their restrooms were clean. As soon as I got to baggage claim, the power to the entire airport went out.

One of the best, cleanest, brightest, most updated, pleasant feeling airports I have been to in a while. I felt like I was arriving in a minute Detroit at first. Way better feeling though. Restrooms everywhere. They were all clean as well. Great in and out experience here. Keep up the good work.

What used to be old, stained, smelly and dingy.... is now AMAZING! It has been remodeled and they have done a fabulous job! It has high ceilings with beautiful lighting now! The seating in the gate areas have wireless phone chargers built into them! They have art by local artists throught the terminal as well...
Some of the best airport restaurants are in Memphis! They have great shopping too!
They kept the stately front ticketing area, and re-built the gate areas. Memphis has out-done itself with this re-fresh!

It was clean and bright. It is a medium sized airport and there was one excellent improvement. It has people walking floor escalators that make a long escort short. There is a small History museum in a corner of the ticketing concourse and among the airport highlights were several plaques and pictures regarding Martin Luthor King's funeral flight. Very interesting and very grahic. It should be in a more prominent place, it was interesting.

Planes take off from here and land here. I've never been on one that didn't take off or land with all passengers accounted for (I'm still alive as are those who flew with me). So... I guess what I'm saying is, if you want to piggyback off a 100% success rate, consider flying out of Memphis and hop on my flight. You may also want to coordinate with me on the return flight
Oh, and the artwork is nice and the terminal food, while pricey, is worthy of the Memphis label.
And a pro tip: park in economy parking (cheaper); it's not that much further, has more open spaces, you get the attached photo op, and you need the exercise.

Memphis International Airport might not be the largest hub, but it impressively offers a lot for its size. The airport facilities are clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant wait before your flight. Its compact nature ensures that it's easy to navigate, which is a real bonus for travelers looking to get from one place to another without the hassle often found in larger airports. The staff at Memphis International are professional and helpful, further enhancing the travel experience. Overall, Memphis Airport stands out as an efficient and welcoming gateway, perfect for both quick layovers and longer waits.

Very clean and modern airport, the bathrooms are very clean and modern too! Really cool sinks! TSA lines were short and we made it in quickly. Stop and get your coffee for your early morning flights at the Ramblin Joes right after TSA because the Starbucks line is longer than TSA!

Flight delay was poorly coordinated. We sat in the plane for 1.5 hours waiting for the ground maintenance to clear our plane from a bird collision. Only one shop open Sunday afternoon with food. TSA process was quick. Flew out of Memphis a couple years later. New terminals! Very nice seating, bathrooms, shops, and views. Impressive.

A lovely airport in the heart of Memphis
Memphis International Airport started in 1927 and has grown to serve 140,000 visitors a month, 30 destinations, 70 flights per day, and several major airlines including Southwest, United, and American. I was lucky enough to visit this airport recently and was astounded at its look. It is a beautiful airport. It is not huge by any standard as it only has 28 gates but the concourses with open gates have lots going for them. The floor is an artistic terrazzo design. There is lots of glass and therefore lots of natural light and high ceilings. All the seats that I saw had chargers. Some areas had nicer seats with small group seating arrangements and tables. The bathrooms were the newest and cleanest I have seen in any airport. The artwork throughout the facility was a lovely mix of new and old and different. There were large, suspended sculptures, woodwork pieces, oil paintings, and a museum-provided display of ivory and jade historical pieces. The security area seems very new and well organized. Outside the parking and rental car area is a short walk or moving walkway away from the main concourse. Be sure to look at the small fountains on the way to or from the rental car agencies. The only downsides of this airport were a slow security area, a leak in the roof of the main concourse, and unused concourses. Even having said that, overall, it is a great airport to visit or travel through.
