Very nice and clean smaller airport. No problems going through security or getting on and off the plane. Only issue I have is there is not any options for food or beverages accept for one small snack station and a drinking lounge

During the holiday week and weekend, I was just dropping off and picking up. Both times it was easy to drive (53 miles) to the airport (other than some construction delay on I69 northbound). I went into the terminal during pick up and it was not crowded at all at 2:30pm. Only complaint is that parking in the short-term handicap area, you have to walk almost the entire length of the terminal to get to the bathrooms 😱

The airport is very modern now with the new terminals,even tho it’s not entirely done yet it is coming along well,the airport hasn’t really changed drastically like you would except if it where to be like Atlanta intl or Detroit,regardless it’s very cute little airport with easy in and easy out and it’s super easy to navigate within,the bags claim area currently consists of 4 carrousels and it’s perfect bc half the time it’s only really three or 2 of the 4 carrousels they use Wich makes it’s simple and convenient.

Fort Wayne International Airport is a smaller airport. Rental car parking is very close to the terminal. Security line was very short and fairly quick. The airport is under partial construction. Remembering that last point, there is only one little snack shop inside and not other trinkets shopping. Otherwise it is a great little airport.

The airport is currently undergoing renovations. It’s a quaint mid-sized airport with friendly and helpful staff, and clean restrooms. I thought a really special touch was a kind lady welcoming all arriving passengers with a gift of a small bag of delicious mini chocolate chip cookies. They were delicious!

I love flying out of this airport. Super easy and fast to get dropped off, get through security and get to your gate. There aren’t many flights but the convenience is immeasurable.
When you fly in, it is mere steps to baggage claim and the rental car counters are right there. Love it.

Flying out of FWA is fast and convenient. Currently there are 14 different direct flights, virtually no lines, reasonable parking rates, and a great restaurant featuring local specials. Security is always a breeze and the snack bar that offers DeBrands chocolate makes a great gift for whoever you're heading out to visit.

The airport needs a lot of work still, but positive changes are apparent. The only thing that I dread at this airport is how long it takes for luggage to get to baggage claim. As of now we've been waiting over 20mins at baggage claim and still no movement. It honestly never fails. I'm always sitting at baggage claim for atleast 30mins while my ride waits outside. It truly is ridiculous considering the size of the airport. I just want to get home and relax.

Great small airport. Easy to access. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Please be patient with the workers. They multi-task here due to the small size. If no one is at the check-in counter, they may be at the gate or out de-icing the plane. They will come back! There is one restaurant and coffee shop on the lower level inside the secure area. By the TSA exit, look for small bags of locally baked, free cookies! The seating area by the gates are amazing! Chargers at every seat.

Fort Wayne's airport is small enough that you don't ever feel crowded, but large enough to offer plenty of services for travelers. It's the cleanest airport I've visited, and even the TSA agents are friendly enough. Food/service prices are a little higher than outside an airport, but they're still lower than you'd expect. One of my favorite little touches is how staff show up at the terminal to welcome you to Fort Wayne with a little thing of cookies. It's a little thing, but it really helps you feel like you're home.
I do have a few gripes, but they're nothing too terrible. First, the airport has been in the middle of renovations every time I've visited in my adult life. I can deal with that since it means the airport is improving, but it does mean you're constantly needing to learn the airport again due to all the areas closing and reopening. Second, there are oftentimes early flights available, but they're so early that none of the stores or restaurants are open yet. Third, despite its name as an international airport, there are few flights that fly directly to cities larger than Indianapolis, meaning you're almost certainly going to have a layover if you fly out of Fort Wayne. Finally, the prices are more expensive than similar flights, and there have been several times where it's been cheaper to drive down to Indianapolis and leave my car there for a week than to leave out of Fort Wayne. I understand that's the nature of the beast, but it is something which prevents me from using this airport more often despite how much I would prefer it otherwise.

A very nice, new, small airport. Most of the employees were very helpful. Due to the size of the airport, many of them have to wear multiple hats, so you may notice some service delays as they are physically moving all around the airport. With adequate staffing though, that is an issue that can be resolved. Other than that, the facilities are new and clean.

Small airport when you're used to Chicago or Atlanta. It only took like 15min to get through and wait to board. The ticket counter is small and even if it's not listed on the building outside, all airlines tickets are issued at the same counter. Lady at gate 8 was helpful and seemed to be doing double duty as I saw her put on a vest and head out for a bit before returning and having us start to board.

As a frequent flyer from Fort Wayne, we were very excited for the renovations! To see the completed project in person was amazing! A legit kids play area, mothers room, pet relief area, and ADULT changing table for our friends with disabilities🫶🏼

The construction in the upstairs gate area is complete. The gate areas have greatly improved seating with ample power and charging stations.
The traffic pattern for arrivals and departures is back to normal.
There is free level 2 EV charging in short term parking. There is free parking there for 30 minutes.

Regardless of time of arrival, young and not young, EVERY single gate crew/baggage person that meets us at the door says hello and welcome. With a smile. I’ve never seen that kind of consistent positive greeting in any of the many airports I fly into and I’m a Million Miler with Delta. That friendliness extends to everyone working at FWA. Baggage does take longer to arrive on the last flight of the day. New restaurant and current renovations a positive change to the aesthetics.

The Airport terminal post security is so nice after the recent renovations. They aren’t complete but large portions of the gate side terminal are now fully renovated with all new modern accommodations. This includes a kids play space, two mothers rooms, a sensory room, all gender bathrooms- including adult rated changing tables, and indoor animal relief stations! It’s so wonderful to see all the inclusive design features were considered and prioritized.
If you’re looking to use the new facilities, they can be located around gates 7-10.
All gate spaces also have updated seating with ample power stations and near by restroom access.

One of the smallest and least busy airports I've ever been to. It is also very clean and they have very comfortable chairs. But when you get in the terminal there is very little to eat so keep that in mind.

They are doing a lot of work on the Fort Wayne Airport, and it's really paying off. This airport is now incredibly modern (wireless charging in the gate area!) and very beautiful. The staff is always very nice and take the time to make sure you're taken care of. Because it's a smaller airport, security is a breeze. If you're traveling to northern Indiana or southern Michigan, consider flying into or out of Fort Wayne!

I can't say enough nice things about this airport. It's always been very easy to get in and out of. Parking is a breeze.The staff has always been courteous and reasonably abundant- you can always get help. The renovation is gorgeous and done right. The bathroom stalls are large, there are private rooms for nursing moms, there is a separate pet area. I love the small aviation museum area. Security is easy and quick. There is so much to love. It's a great airport.

The departure and arrival area is not crowded with lines of cars ~ it is actually rather empty. There's no pressure of traffic when picking up someone at the doors or when dropping off someone either.
Going through security is fast, even for a Sunday. Lines are extremely minimal. Finding your terminal is also a breeze with how well everything is labelled and how small the airport is.

Far and away the easiest airport to navigate that I've been to, and even TSA agents are friendly. There are a total of 10 gates, all on 1 floor, and they can all be seen standing in 1 spot. Food options are limited, Chapman's Brewery is the only sit down restaurant, but there's also a Conjure Coffee and Marketplace with miscellaneous items.

Ft Wayne airport is a small facility (but growing). Easy to check in and get to your gate. Limited food, bar with some food, coffee stand and then upstairs is a stand with quick food, drinks and snacks. Soon all food choices will be upstairs (that’s what I was told in Oct) Parking is ok but always seems full and can take along time to search and pray for open spot. Definitely needs more parking Hope they add to the lot. There is a Cell phone lot for anyone coming to pick you up. That’s a plus.
