Very organized. We used the restroom got a drink after deplaning then went to wait for our luggage and it never came. Didn't know it had already been unloaded made the rounds and removed! Got a call from the office by the carousel while waiting. They had our luggage waiting! Never have I experienced such efficiency and speed in luggage unloading process!!! Wonderful - thank you!

This is a great airport that we use fairly often to fly to visit family out of state. The airport is always very clean, with a very easy and quick security process. Plenty of food options and seating areas to enjoy while waiting for your flight.

A nice clean airport that seems to run smoothly. Happened to fly in on the same plane as John Schuerholtz so the autographs started right when we deplaned as they were headed to Cooperstown.

We had a good experience at the airport. My husband is a disabled Veteran and your staff took good care of him. I appreciate all they did for him. They got him on and off the plane and took him to the next gate. I would like to thank the staff again for all their help because I couldn't have been able to do it all myself.

Albany airport is one of the best medium sized facilities in the country. Checking in and passing thru security are seamless. If you need help there are knowledgeable individuals located throughout the airport to assist.



Food courts and shopping locations are quite good again for its size. I particularly like the corridor artwork that emphasized local artists



It is easy to reserve and pick up your rental car.



I am a fan of the Albany airport.

I felt very safe. There were extra security guards by the entrance, and we saw an officer with a dog walking to all of the gates. (This could be bc of bombing in Israel, who knows...)

There's a few restaurants at this airport, and it feels like the big-time airports, but it is quaint in the best ways!

Small airport. But everything ran smoothly. Baggage claim and car rental was across from each other which was a plus, love that. Car rental pickup and return was seamless also.

I wanted to give enough stars so the staff at this airport are acknowledged as being helpful and efficient and (firm but) friendly. But. The security lines are loooooong. Leave yourself more time than you think! It took me about 45 min to get through and I missed my flight. After the line, the airport is small enough and easy to navigate, and as I said, every staff member I interacted with was helpful.

Good service. Resonable prices on parking. Good access from highway, friendly people. Good service to lots of cities. Not be good assess to railroad tho . Not much public transportation access

Albany Airport is a clean, calm, consistently dependable port to and from major hubs. Serving NY capital region, Hudson River, southwestern New England. Small compared to mega/major hubs such as Charlotte, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles and so on. It's regional art features were changing and always interesting. Traffic and curb side sanity rules.

Easy to navigate regional airport. A fair number of restaurants including Chick-fil-A and Wolfgang Puck Pizza. Restaurants close early (6:00) Chick-fil-A was 7:00. Nice people. One drawback was my wife and kids saw at least one mouse at the gate waiting area. She is terrified of rodents and refused to sit in that area and instead sat with her feet up further away from the gate.

A great airport. Queues are negligible, except Chick-fil-A.

The best TSA staff I have ever came across, very humble and helpful.

Quite literally the easiest airport to fly in and out of. Security is always a breeze here... usually able to check bags, go through security, and make it to my gate all within 20-30 minutes... on a BUSY day. I love flying here and never have had an issue. The facility is clean, and allow for a comfortable wait for your flight.

For a regional airport, it's pretty nice. Number of choices for getting food including a Starbucks, a Wolfgang Puck Pizza, Burger King, in several sit down restaurants. It's well maintained, and clean, with lots of bathrooms that are also clean and well maintained. Getting through security was really fast and efficient. I love the art on the walls. It really makes the place look a lot nicer,

Small airport but very clean and efficient for travel. Rental cars are within easy walk of baggage claims and ground transportation. If you are staying in Albany, stay at any of the facilities on or near Wolf road. Inner city is not desirable.

The airport is pretty standard. Be prepared for long lines for red eye flights. Be prepared for long lines at Chick-fil-A, there is a Starbucks here too. McDonald’s was recently replaced with Burger King. The shops here close early as in 6:30pm on a Saturday.

Ariana who works for United Airlines deserves a raise. She was working on 6/24/23 around 5:30pm… United flights were ultimately cancelled going into Newark and it completely messed up the beginning of our vacation.

Ariana was SO unbelievably patient, understanding and helpful with my boyfriend and I. She tried every airport near our departure and our arrival to ensure we would be able to get there the following day. She went over and above for us. You need more people like her working for you and she really should be rewarded for not just doing her job but for going the extra mile for passengers. I’m sure she deals with a lot of angry people (we were not, we were understanding the cancellation was not her fault) .. to keep such a positive and friendly attitude has got to be extremely hard. Thank you, Ariana for making sure our vacation got off to a better start today!

Please make sure to pass this message on to her, we want her to know that she made a bad situation so much better.

Airport is great. Smaller size, ready to navigate. Flight delays and cancellations can't be blamed on airport. Comfortable chairs to wait for your incoming traveler

This is a good mid sized airport. Low on amenities and things seem to close down early. Otherwise a good experience. I never had long wait times here through security.

Was a great experience.. My first time in Albany International Airport.. No problems everything was spot on!

- More room at the terminal to spread out (fortunately a new terminal expansion project is coming).

- More eateries at the gates.

- An international flight connection to the Caribbean.

I never thought I'd be reviewing an airport, but I fly here regularly and I'm always surprised by how friendly and warm all the staff are. Something else that really stuns me is the consistently creative and thought-provoking art/history exhibitions that they have here?? Whoever is in charge of the art should get a raise 😬

I parked at the North long-term parking building. It is right next to the terminals. Excellent experience. Accepts e-zpass. And as a bonus you get to charge your EV while you're there. Love this airport. Low volume and low pressure. Recommended highly

Very, very nice airport. The parking is very convenient with EZpass as a payment option. Easy to locate and very pleasing locate to start or end ones travels but it is very expensive to travel in & out of Albany International Airport. Also, most flights are connectors. I would love to use this airport more frequently. This location is much more convenient for me...but I am forced to travel to other airports to receive affordable flights.

For an airport, of which I have been in a few, it is definitely a good airport. Staff are friendly and helpful, its relatively easy to navigate (For an airport), there is plenty of seating for both getting onto planes and waiting for people to get off, and lots of food options if you're going to be there for a while.



My only real complaint is the parking situation. There are very reasonable parking options available, that isn't a problem, but they are marked very poorly. Every time I go I end up in a different parking area, because I don't know how to navigate the birds nest of roads. This is probably a failing on my part more so than anything the airport could do, but I would appreciate more signage.

First time flying into ALB and only had great experiences. I arrived at 10 PM, so I was expecting some cranky staff. Everyone was really helpful and kind. - from baggage service to rental car agency employees.



After a long day of travels, it was a pleasant experience landing in ALB.

From the moment I arrived, I noticed that the whole airport was very smooth. I got there at about 7:50 pm, when most international airports are a bit crowded. But Albany International was very calm. The layout of the airport itself was well thought out. The restrooms were only a short walk down from the gate. Another thing me and my friends who traveled with me liked was the art. In particular, a wooden model of a house. Continuing through the airport, the baggage claim was calm, and efficient. By the time we had used the restroom, and walked down the hall to baggage claim, our cases were rolling around. Then, walking out the doors to the airport, we waited for our ride. The people outside were respectful and quiet. Altogether, a great experience. One, if not the best airport experiences that I've had so far.

I am having a wonderful airport experience. Just flew in and waiting for a coworker with a few hours to kill. The airport is clean and not crowded. I found their business center which they offer for free. It's a nice place to work on your laptop. Bravo Albany airport staff. I really appreciate your facility!

Changed a lot over the years. Easy to get in and out of. Security line isn’t that bad at all. Security officers are by far nicer than those at Reagan airport in Washington DC.

The young woman at Empire Deli n Albany Airport went above and beyond to make this customer happy today. I didn't get her name but she was sweet, kind and extended herself for me! An outstanding employee for sure!!

It was not crowded at the airport. My wife went through in less than 15 minutes. She had only a carry-on which made it much easier. People there were friendly and helpful.

Maybe we saw it at its best during off-peak afternoon times, but everything about ALB was great. The layout was easy to navigate, there were plenty of food options and the terminal was not crowded and security lines were minimal. Parking was easy in the centrally-located garage.

An impressive little regional airport. There is a modern, efficient and clean central terminal and adjacent parking deck. The building is fairly new and seems well run. One of the nicer things about Albany.
