Shuttle is not available during off times.

In normal times: Shuttle runs 24 hours and you must call 24 hrs prior to parking vehicle to schedule your shuttle.

This is going to be a brutal review, and I apologize, but please read it all the way through.



We are all under stress, and it is difficult to find motivated employees, I get that.

The only thing I can say is to read the rest of the reviews from this year if you don't believe what I'm saying or showing you here.

I hope that Comfort Inn and the owners of this property will do a little better in the future.

My room had been used "temporarily"; the carpet stained completely, as was the rest of the hotel.

Having a degree in hotel science, I noted many deficiencies that I hope management and ownership will address.



- I am very sorry for leaving such a bad review, but sometimes light must be shown in darkness -



A short list of deficiencies:



• Door did not latch securely and immediately

• Very poorly patched holes in walls, scratches and deficiencies throughout;

• Dust everywhere;

• Duvet was nicely placed, but when pulled down revealed a bed that had been obviously been used;

(I'm certainly glad I didn't bring my UV light with me)

• Non-working clock

• Bathroom had been used for a quick shower as evidenced by hair in tub and drain; • Lack of bath mat;

• Feces stains on a towel (!) that was used and folded back up.

• One half of shampoo bottle was missing and had been used;

• Pictures secured to walls 'per requirement', but not even close to being aligned or level;

• Missing desk chair;

• Horribly stained carpet;

• Pennies on the floor along baseboard (we used to do this in the hospitality business to test housekeeping)

• Broken curtain rods

• Broken door to storage room and roof access in public area;

• No lock on electrical panel doors accessible by public.



This is only a partial list



NOWHERE on the site (or anywhere else) does it state that there will be no hot breakfast (as advertised) and that the pool had been drained because of covid.



I stayed in a Comfort Inn Suites in West Phoenix in February. They had a full hot buffet breakfast at the height of the pandemic, utilizing safety procedures and still making the customers happy.

The pool was heated and fully operational



As I said, I know these are difficult times and people are unmotivated, but if you REALLY want to stay open, at least try to do SOMETHING better than serving "honey bunnies" from the airport nearby.



AND IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT PAYING YOUR STAFF MORE, (which I highly recommend), but more about enhancing what you expect from them and FOLLOWING IT UP ON IT without being mean and dismissive.



Teach personal responsibility for the property as guest satisfaction is king with your livelihood in the end analysis, affected by it.

Lovely room, recently renovated. Really liked no carpet. Sheet vinyl I am presuming. Two thoughts, TV is from pre digital times. Lousy picture.. The new shower was really nice except for the lack of safety bars, some sort of ledge for placing bar of soap, hair product, or body shampoo. A place to hang a wet wash cloth and the same for conveniently hanging a dry towel closer to the shower area. Too much opportunity for falls possibly leading to lawsuits.

The room we stayed in was not clean - there were smeared dead bugs on the wall, there was a huge red stain on the floor, and there were drops of either blood or nail polish all over the shower floor as well as mold on the walls of the shower. The first night we were there, there was a swarm of flying ants in the room. The floor that we stayed at had multiple doors that had the locks torn out of them, which is not really a way to make guests feel safe. We felt so uncomfortable that along with locking our doors, we also moved all furniture that could be moved in front of the door. Overall, this was the dirtiest and least safe place we have ever stayed and would recommend making any possible accommodations to stay ANYWHERE else.

My boyfriend and I, along with some friends, stayed here in between our Louisiana to Missouri trip, and fell in love with the photos. Instantly regretted our booking.



My boyfriend and I stayed in a king suite ($200 w/ jacuzzi tub). It was terrible. The smell itself was unbearable of moisture and mildew. The bed, towels, toilet, couch, phone, fridge, tub, coffee pot, tables, etc. were visible dirty, broken, or rusted. We began to find mold throughout this room.



We decided to talk to the front desk for this appropriate complaint, and after 15 minutes of waiting for anyone to show up, we ran into more issues. The front desk worker at the time gave little to no concern at all, and even questioned us because they weren’t understanding the problem or replied with sarcasm. After offering for someone to look at our room or at least look at photos we took, they continued to ignore us and come up with excuses for us to deal with it. They told me that since I used the soap in the bathroom, it made the room “used” and “dirty” I TOUCHED MOLD and needed to wash my hands…



So after 10 minutes of getting no where and becoming hopeless and frustrated, they told US to calm down and stop with our “attitudes” and became angry. We never once raised our voices or demanded anything, but rather asked if ANYTHING could be done.. I even offered to pay for the bar of soap or be moved to literally any other room. Very disappointed and upset with how we were treated for a very reasonable issue.



Our second room, although better and wouldn’t have caused us to complain compared to the other, still held similar issues.



Overall the entire building/property is dirty, damaged, dated, and within a bad area. Not to mention little things like the pool being completely shut down/chained off, no breakfast served, or basic items missing from the rooms. Do not stay here…!!

My biggest complaint is that the TV didn't work, and the person at the front desk said she would send up maintenance to fix it and they never came. Also:



* The phone didn't work

* The comforter had stains and a cigarette burn

* The entire room had a gross gritty filmy residue (I assume from the cleaning products used and not sufficiently wiped up)

* The hallway had an odor of marijuana (the room smelled okay)

* The pool, hot tub, and exercise room is still closed due to covid

* The tub plug didn't work, so I couldn't give my kids a bath



There were a couple of pros:



* Other than the one comforter, the beds were clean and comfortable.

* The A/C worked great

Very horrible service! Room smelled moldy! And musty! Soon as we walked in the hotel smelled like straight marijuana. We tried to push through, but we ended up staying somewhere else. This place needs to be torn down! Immediately! Never will recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy!

It was horrible. We left and stayed somewhere else. First our room wasn't clean. We rented the king suite and there was a hole in the floor the big bath tub was dirty. The tables were dirty. We tried to just deal with it because we really wanted a hotel with an indoor pool and hot tub. We soon found out the pool was closed and it was advertised as open on the website. It's literally the only reason we booked it. Then the front desk person was rude when we went to the front to talk to a manager. There is no way I would ever recommend this place to anyonr

Not recommend. This hotel needs lot of attention. It's not that bad but need lot's of cleaning. Hopefully, they will take care of it asap. I am sure Comfort Inn is reputable hotel.

Photos very misleading. The room was very musty (coming from the old AC); our hair and clothes smelled bad the next day. Comfort Inn company needs to put some renovation money into this place. Probably not the worst one but definitely not a good one. Rips and stains, including big breaks in ceiling drywall. Staff was friendly and kind and housekeeping did the best they could to make the room neat and clean but ultimately it just felt like a worn, sad place to spend the night. The price was really good, but I did worry about my car. I parked in front and backed up to the fence to prevent people from walking by trunk to look inside. Downtown Memphis is very beautiful with the parks and river and Beale street, in the future I would pay $100 more to stay there. Pool was closed, $25 pet fee.

The woman at the front desk was very unprofessional and had a nasty attitude. I had a long drive to Memphis and I already made reservations but wanted to see if I could get an early check in. I greeted her "good morning" and "I was wondering if it was possible for an early check in" before I could even finish speaking she said "we don't have any rooms" as she mean mugged me.

She never said good morning, never smiled, never said thank you to their costumer who booked a room with them. Very bad energy from their staff! I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Not as clean as I'd expect from a Comfort Suites but not nasty and overall not a bad choice. 2 towels, 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel in bathroom?

My largest complaint is maintenance... Definitely the weakest link!

Protected stairwell doors blocked open and auto closures broken (against fire code!) These should be fixed immediately! Stairwells are emergency exits and called protected stairwells for a reason but only able to be so if doors are auto closing and work!

I frequented this hotel for a while and at for the most part things were really good, for the most part I enjoyed staying there. The only down side is that when it rains the parking lot floods and you either risk damaging your vehicle or you are stuck until the water dries up or flushes out. I spoke with their management and learned that it's not the hotel's fault but the city's fault and they have tried to get repairs to it. Other than that the rooms are nice and worth the price, housekeeping is very good and front desk staff are good as well. I would stay here again definitely.

Smh and wow. Went to check in at 2:45 a.m. from a very long drive from Texas and No one was at the front desk. The outer door was open but the inner doors were not which is understandable. We called and heard the phone ringing and no one came. We finally got in and kept calling and still no one was there. I called out for anyone and still no one. We waited, waited and finally left. There were plenty of people out in their cars at that time of the morning but no staff. This rooms has already been booked, not sure what we will do now. This is how you operate Comfort Inn? shame on you 😕 Signed Comfort Inn anywhere will not get my money ever.

We had 6 rooms. Upon check in the rooms were smokey, sheets with a burn hole in them, left over drink stained running down the wall, the couches looked infected, chest top cracked. We asked for different sheets the housekeeper said they didnt have any, when first shift was there. Few minutes later when second shift lady came in and we asked for sheets the same housekeeper got us two sets so we could cover the couches. Locked myself out the room and it took 20 minutes for the desk clerk to get out the car, since they park under the canopy and get me a room key despite their maintenance man telling her. He did offer to let me in the room with his key but I still needed a room key because I lost mines and didnt feel comfortable leaving the door open since my room was right by the elevator and people were in the hall yelling and playing in the halls at random hours

Great staff, quiet inside (but felt the rumble of lots of trucks driving by until 10ish), and clean room. Grab and go breakfast bag decent but it's definitely time to get back to a real breakfast!

First of all. i call a week in advance an ask do they have airport shuttle an they was like yes. Just call an they will arrange it. My flight came in February 26. At like 10:30 pm an I call the front desk an they lady was very unprofessional. She answering the phone like she’s at home. After waiting outside the airport for a hour an Finally making it to the hotel the parking lot flooded an the hallway smells like marijuana. The room doors have cracks where it don’t close up all the way. Hotel really don’t deserve a star.

WARNING !!!! BEWARE !!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL- I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A ZERO RATING OR BELOW- I HAVE STAYED IN OTHER CHOICE HOTELS (which I never will again) AND THIS HAS BEEN THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER- OUR CAR WINDOW WAS SMASHED AND THE CAR BURGLARIZED RIGHT BY ONE OF THE DOORS- AFTER THIS INCIDENT, WE ASKED THE FRONT DESK ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS TO SPEAK DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL MANAGER/ OWNER- WHO ONE WOULD THINK SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT VANDALISM AND THEFT ON HIS HOTEL PROPERTY- 3 DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT- HE STILL HAS NOT REACHED OUT TO US- WOW!!! OBVIOUSLY THIS HOTEL AND THEIR STAFF HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS NOR DO THEY CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OR CONCERNS OF THE PATRONS WHO STAY THERE- VERY SAD AND EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING- SORRY CHOICE HOTELS- YOU HAVE LOST MY BUSINESS AND THAT OF MY COMPANY, FRIENDS AND RELATIVES

It was decent the customer service was great but the room was not has clean has I would have liked. There was still a half smoked black & mild under the couch. And a roach came into our room. I would recommend the Sheraton downton which is much nicer& great view just be prepared to have your vehicle parked by valle.

Employees are all very personable and accommodating. Sam, the manager/ owner is always willing to help with answering questions and ensuring your stay is as pleasant and smooth as possible. Do wish the pool was open and breakfast was being served but overall I'm very satisfied and recommend this hotel to anyone.
