Best Western MHT

This hotel is beautiful with wonderful friendly staff and clean spacious rooms. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with plenty of food options to choose from. The activity room was packed with all kinds of arcade games, a foosball table and two pool tables. Across from the arcade room was the pool area with a good size saltwater pool and hot tub that had an adjoining patio. In the lobby there is 24-hour hot coffee tea and hot chocolate and also soft fresh baked cookies!

Pros: Very nice hotel, especially for the price.

Super friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds.

When I checked in, I was given a $5 off $25+ purchase at the brewery restaurant that's o. There property, Wich had great food.

AC worked very well.

Lovely property, I enjoyed walking around it.



Cons: Normally, hotels shower heads are kinda dirty, but mine was sparkly clean, but the exhaust vent needed a small dusting.

While this is an older property, they have done a good job keeping it up to date. Spent four nights and their King Room is very large with a refrigerator, microwave, and sofa-bed. Included in my room rate was free WiFi and access to the buffet breakfast. While I did not use the buffet (not a breakfast person) I did get coffee and noticed people were enjoying all of the various breakfast foods available. The Front Desk at check-in and throughout my stay were very helpful and extremely friendly. I also attended a wedding here and I must say the folks who managed the wedding, the staff who provided the dinner, and the facilities were exceptional. Out of all the wedding I have attended in my life, the food served here was the BEST I have ever enjoyed. You also are within walking distance to The Backyard Brewery…absolutely great food! I did a separate review of the restaurant.

Breakfast was OUTSTANDING! everything from eggs with sides choices of salsa, cheese and sour cream to waffles with blueberries, strawberries and chock chips!! Even warmed syrup!! Omgosh awesome!

Danishes, real potatoes, corned beef hash, awesome crisp bacon - so much!



Staff was outstanding, pleasant, efficient and so sincere.



I’m a TRUE convert and will be seeking out BEST Westerns from now on!

Lovely venue for a wedding. The apps were delightful and the staff were very nice and attentive. It's just a couple of steps from the hotel which was ideal and they are pet friendly. We all met for the full spread free breakfast the next morning. Made for a truly nice wedding .

My family and I have stayed with Best Western in various locations. This is by far the the cleanest, most organized, and guest friendly we have experienced thus far.



Alicia has been our primary source of help and her professionalism, knowledge, and people skills are clearly a reflection of who she is as a person; genuine. She has single handedly made us feel comfortable and like true guests. Having worked previously in corporate settings myself, I commend her natural ability to run this business and believe she deserves recognition.

Best westerns are the best. Spend the extra 20 and get cleaner rooms and better service all around than 90% of most other hotels

Wonderful hotel with many amenities. We enjoyed the complementary cookies and flavored water in the evening and hot breakfast in the morning! The jacuzzi in the bedroom was a nice splurge and well worth the small up charge! Everyone we encountered was wonderful! The hotel is only about 1.5 Miles from many restaurants, the mall and Chunky’s the eat in movie theater! Great location (close to the airport) and great service!

The facility was great, and had an indoor pool. Service was very good. My only complaint was the cost of laundry, which we needed to use. $4.00 a washer load and $5.00 a dryer load.

Aside from that, all was great.

Spent a night in the King Suite. The internet was down and the staff could not make any keys. Despite the hardship, the staff assisted us into the room and kept us up to date with the issues at hand.



The room was huge, the hot tub worked perfectly, and the only complaint was that it was just one night. I will stay again if given the opportunity.

EXCELLENT customer service at this location!



I had both an arriving and departing flight that was after hours (midnight and 5:30am respectively). The woman at the front desk each time said there is normally a shuttle, but because they are short staffed, the called and paid for a taxi for both legs of my trip.



I surely expected that I would have to cover it, but the hotel did indeed cover my transportation.



Room was immaculate; and a dream come true (I didn't know until walking into my room that it had a jacuzzi in the middle).

It is a great place to stay. they have a hot breakfast and it has always been a pleasure to wake up knowing you can eat. The hot tub is a great relaxing tool and on my latest visit I had a welcoming entrance and friendly exit , but due to Covid-19 there was no hot breakfast which I think could be corrected if they try. Had I known that I would of found a hotel that had hot food. Over all the place is cozy.

Always a great place to stay. Always quiet. Always priced good for the area. Awesome breakfast.

Right next door is possibly the best restaurant in New Hampshire.

Whenever I come back to town, I make a point to stay at the Best Western and visit the Backyard brewery! Beautiful area!

The hotel is well maintained, the rooms were comfortable, and the hotel is well situated near the airport and with quick access to the city's downtown attractions. Breakfast had enough variety to be better than the usual hotel variety. The pool was heated but not warm enough for me, though outside Temps were in the low 30s. Kids played in it quite a bit. The hot tub was good though. My only problem was the beds were not comfortable. Too hard.

I had a great experience that this hotel! The pool and hot tub were open, our room had a 2 person jacuzzi in it and the location was great! It would be 5 stars but the complimentary breakfast was "yogurt or cereal". We were a little disappointed by that.

Wonderful room, lots of space. We had a king with a foldout and there was plenty of room. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful! That's not too mention the delicious hot breakfast and the cookies! I would definately go back!

Great staff in this place. Very polite. Love the area as it is quiet as it is away from the main street. Location is a little confusing so use your GPS well. good ammenities as well. Pool, spa, game room.(you need to pay to play in game room). The hotel is a little dated but still very clean. Nothing was missing. Only they did not do the beds when they took out the garbage and changed the towels but I guess you have to tell them

Used this hotel back in 2016 visiting from the UK. Served an epically massive breakfast with make-your-own pancakes with pancake mix.

Hotel was very clean , has pet available which is awesome as well as a nice indoor pool and hot tub . Lobby puts out coffee and cookies daily , and the free breakfast is very good .. front desk is just ok .. not very welcoming, but helpful and cordial . Sometimes there isn’t anyone at the desk , I think they hide out in the back sometimes, as I had to say “” hello??? “”” excuse me “”” for a person to come out when I needed some information.. all in all pretty nice hotel 👍.. 4 stars

The employees checking us in accommodated every need in our group of 8. The free full breakfast was as to be expected but still good. Clean roomy rooms but I did find the beds a bit hard. The kids enjoyed the pool, and arcade while us adults enjoyed the hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying here

and would stay again if in the area.

I was totally prepared to give 5 stars. It's a decent place.. clean.. they allow the mutt.

Then breakfast came.. i specifically like to stay in places with a breakfast included. This one did not offer meat/eggs, for whatever maintenance/upgrading/random supposed reason, but that wasnt the real issue as i knew that in advance, and it seemed like they were filling in the blanks pretty well.

The issue was that at 940 the kitchen lady had already broken down the waffle machine. Many people were still eating, and I wasn't the only one who would've made a waffle. I tried asking her if there were any waffles and all i got was, "No!" (To be fair, this may have been the extent of her English.)

Seems like it's often like that in these places.. the inmates running the asylum. Lose a whole star for waffles? Yes, sorry.. your breakfast is supposed to be til 10am, you shouldnt be allowing your workers to do things like this, just because they (understandably) want to hurry up & get their job done. Your paying customers should come first.

Staff was extremely helpful! Rooms were clean but toilets sit really low compared to what we are used to. Cleaning was only allowed once during our 10 day stay.

Gorgeous property and lovely room. I only wish they had fluffy comforters but they had a very good breakfast, with almond milk for coffee. 👍 We even had fun at the brewery next door for dinner. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed with my grandson, we Loved the pool and game room. The staff was excellent and the hotel was very well maintained. It was a warm night and we open the window and the sound of planes landing was a bit much, but with the window closed unnoticeable.

Not perfect but very good. Room 111 is between 113 and 114 so I turned around twice looking for it. The Backyard Brewery and Kitchen across the parking lot was delicious and convenient. Any hotel that has free breakfast until 10am instead of 9 gets a star from me. Although they need to learn what "sunny side up eggs" means. They might as well just scramble them.

Me and my family stayed there for 2 days and when we first got there and checked in the receptionist person was very rude and charged us extra for nothing but other then that it was great the pool was great and the room was awesome but i wished breakfast was til 11 because i almost missed it. the breakfast food was delicious though.

Rooms were clean and up to date. Free breakfast with a large selection of hot and cold food. Price was reasonable.

Stayed for a yearly convention. The staff is excellent. The pool was heavily chlorinated. Too much so for me, actually triggered an asthma attack. Morning breakfast was lovely. Convention space is nice. Everything was clean, and well cared for.

Always a pleasure staying here, very quiet and accommodating, people mind there own business here and are willing to help those who ask for it. Rooms are clean and comfortable, I've been in multiple rooms on this site and this location has by far been the cleanest and the employee's I've run into have been nothing short of excellent 👌 I recommend if your in the area visiting or passing through and need a room, this place is better then the alternative places to stay at 100% hands down, love this spot!

I've stayed here numerous times throughout the years. Seriously very reasonable priced for a super nice room/suite. Plus indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, refreshments, and I love their continental breakfast!!! My daughters LOVE this Best Western too!! Oh and definitely join their rewards program to rack up points. I've earned free nights and I don't know about you but I love FREE!!

This hotel is pretty nice and off the main traffic area of South Willow. I stayed two nights in a jacuzzi room.



PROS:

* The tub was great and worth the extra money for the room.

* Everything seemed fresh and clean when we arrived.

* Grab and go breakfast bags had a good variety of options.

* Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our weekend stay.



CONS:

* The bed was pretty worn and the springs were loose, which was not the most comfortable to sleep on.

* There was something spilled in the hallway outside our door on Friday night, and was still there Sunday morning when we checked out.

* There were also instances of people hanging out in the lobby without masks on, and no one was making an effort to enforce that safety rule.



Overall we enjoyed our stay at this Best Western and with the lower room rates for (free) memberships, we will most likely be back.

Honestly, I really love this place. Staff are excellent and the price can’t be beat! Ps. I bring my kids here with me. Pool is only 4ft. all around so the kids love it! Laundry room is readily available and front desk has plenty of quarters on hand. Breakfast is served at reasonable times and the selection is great!

Nice clean rooms , the beds were a little lumpy. It is tucked back off the highway, but they do have signs that are very easy to see. Our GPS took us down farther, so we had to go back. Good breakfast.

This hotel is definitely worth the price and we would not hesitate to stay there again. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable. I like that we could open the window part way for fresh air. The pool is large and beautiful, the fitness room is better that what we have seen in most hotels in a similar price range. The free breakfast is a bonus.

Positive experience at a decently priced hotel. The room was big, plenty of pillows and nicely sized bathroom. Outdated shower, but well functioning. Citrus shampoo was really good.



Cons: humid smell in the room and corridor, breakfast definitely not worth it. Coffee is REALLY bad.

It's a wonderful jem, not really close enough to walk anywhere..like no gas station or anything like that, but there IS a restaurant, Backyard Brewery or Brewing ..lol can't recall off the top of my head ...and they have the best, made in house honey mustard I've had!

The pool and hot tub are well kept, clean and, heated or not...the pool is just chilly, to Me..But I'm dromedary Arizona so my idea of is cold isn't really a good basis for comparison 🤣

We have stayed here 4 years , and love it. The rooms are clean, spacious. The breakfast buffet is hot, replenished frequently, and varies daily. They offer coffee, tea, as well as fresh fruit and daily baked cookies every evening, into the night.

Great hidden location near the airport, with a brewery a block away. No shuttle service. Nice lobby and breakfast was good. Otherwise the rooms and corridors are a little tired. Very nice staff.

REAL HONEST LENGTHY REVIEW. This was a nice relaxing getaway stay. The jacuzzi was really relaxing and enjoyable, it was nice to have privacy rather than going to the hot tub or pool, which smelled REALLY heavily of chlorine that you could smell it down the hall. The price of the room was slightly pricey even with a discount but that was because of the jacuzzi and king size bed. Breakfast was meh but what can you expect from a complimentary breakfast. Eggs were flavorless and watery. There was no bacon or sausage. The corn beef hash was mushy, like from a can. The tv channels had a good selection of stations. I do wish the room was a little more clean, for instance there was hair in the jacuzzi and behind the toilet seat lid but luckily I brought surface cleaner for this reason. The toilet flushes loud which is no biggie but makes you alert not to flush it in the late hours of the night. The walls are not sound proof, I wasn’t expecting them to be but I know some people look for that in a hotel. I was looking forward to the game room but unfortunately did not have the quarters or dollars on us. Other than that I had a great time here.

Excellent location and beautiful hotel. I was instantly impressed with the lobby area which included an amazing staircase which allowed access to the 2nd floor. Staff was wonderful and the room was just what I needed. Restaurant across the parking lot with awesome food and excellent brewed beer makes this Best Western my "go to" for the Manchester area. Nice spot. Cookies on arrival. Good breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. Cute little activity room we did not use. Wished they had coffee out. Shower was underwhelming and not enough pillows for a king sized bed.

Checked in Friday night til Sunday with my fiancé and we both had a blast. Room was clean along with jacuzzi! Alicia at front desk was very helpful and had character!! Had a few laughs which was great along with her service! Definitely recommend if you wanna get away with your partner! :)

We were in Manchester for a wedding. We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff were pleasant and professional. Our room was very nice and very clean; with no problems at all. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The cookies each day were a nice treat! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, great staff. Paid quite a bit for the king suite but I want to say the space and the quiet was sooo worth it. The whirlpool tub was amazing. The game room could use a little updating but it was still fun.



Plenty of restaurants of all kinds nearby for delivery or a quick drive to pick up. Restaurant/Brewery right at the property, just a quick walk across the parking lot.



Close to the airport.

After a chaotic arrival in the middle of the night, the staff at the reception was very kind and helpful.

Rooms are clean, big and cozy.

Unfortunately I had no time to test the spa but I know there is one.

Breakfast could be better, but since it is complementary, there's nothing to complain about. Coffee was good, though.

Hidden away hotel next to a restaurant. Good value hotel perfectly situated to be just an hour and half from Portland Maine and 40 minutes to Massachusetts and half an hour to the New Hampshire Mountains. Very busy place with many people coming and going for conferences. 30 year old hotel needs a bit updating. Pool was closed for the first couple days we were there. Rooms were fine but bathtub had dirt and traces of hair. Fixtures in bathroom had rust. Had nice size fridge to keep your food if needed. Clean beds. Has continental breakfast type for the morning. It says they have eggs and bacon but it's a heatable sandwich. Has danishes, muffins, toast, bagels and cereal. Fresh brewed coffee but they have an automatic coffee machine that was the best when coming back from a long day. 4ft pool not heated finally opened but then hot tub was closed for cleaning. Has a gameroom with pinball machines, arcade games and Pool tables, but you need $1 for one round of games. No change machine. It was very hot at the time in the room. Had a fan but didn't help. Has 2 washers and dryers that are coin and credit card operated if cc part works. Cc part wasnt working when we first went there. Uses quarters. They were pretty old and need some cleaning. Dryer had hair like you would believe I guess from a pet. You would think the person who used it would clean it out. They have a nice fitness center with alot of different exercise machines. Indoor Pool, fitness center, game room, washer dryers are on lower level so it doesn't disturb. This place is close to a mall and restauraunts. Also close by is a nice Barnes and Noble.

Parked my car there to fly out of Manchester airport. Awesome drop-off pickup service. The young lady was sweet as pie both ways, and she remembered me. We talked about our furbabies and i didn't have pictures of mine. Hope she sees this post.

Clean and quiet, responsive service staff. Breakfast area and food was kept so well stocked despite the crowd at 9 AM. Good location nearby many attractions and the Airport too. Very spacious rooms and hotel, beautiful banquet facilities and landscaping, plenty of parking. Noted many families here not just business folks probably due to the good room rates!

Start to finish we had a great experience. Alicia was amazing. The room was clean, pool and hot tub too. Lot of the arcade games were down but they returned any lost coins and the best games still worked :) the workout room was perfect too. Will definitely be back

Came here pretty late, and the office was still open! Beds were amazing, very clean room, and the air conditioner worked flawlessly. And the food in the morning was just perfect.

Easy drive to Portsmouth& Kittery. Not much downtown to speak of, but a great launching area for day trips.

This was one of the best hotels of the trip. I might have even given them five stars if I didn't find a fake eyelash on the bed the morning after sleeping in the bed (I think my backpack picked it up off the floor, so not like it was in bed with me, probably). The staff was good, the price was decent, and they gave me enough food (for being whatever level Best Western member I am) to get me by while waiting for the tow truck to come out and fix the rental car. I would absolutely stay here again.

My biggest complaint was one last that worked on the kitchen crew and I assume house keeping.ear length hair, shorter.you will know exactly who I speak of because she will give you the dirtiest look everyday whenever you walk by.rather by yourself,w your kids,getting breakfast, entering or exiting the hotel....this lady wants you to know she despises you.i get it.im sure she sees a lot of crazy stuff.but zero reason for the attitude given.was kinda a on going joke everymorning at breakfast .National guard,vacationers,professionals and I'd assume retirees would all ask what that was about while plating up breakfast.just really someone who despises their job and apparently the ppl that stay their that gives buisness so she can have a job.very sad.every other staff from front to housekeeping to maintenance was polite and very professional. not one to gripe about something like this.but it made my wife,2 kids and myself feel very uncomfortable/unwelcome.yet those working with her were very friendly.i won't end this on a bad note.but the evil eye alone is why I'm not leaving a 5 star.on a positive note, the gym was well stocked w dumbells and cardio equipment. no bench.but honestly more than enough. I Do enjoy staying there and will again hope maybe this individual works behind the scenes and not in the eyes of the public.very unwelcoming

We stayed here while visiting family in the area from SC. The rooms are very nice, spacious. Hotel is in a very quiet area. The staff were awesome, super accommodating and helpful. Both Stephanie and Alicia at the front desk were A+++. Pool is cold, hot tub is nice and very warm! The best part..... Dog friendly!!! And reasonably priced. We are definitely staying here again.

It's okay but a bit outdated, and the pictures oversell the place. Espresso machine downstairs is decent. Staff is friendly. Overall relatively quiet and close to airport and surrounding areas. Next door is Backyard Brewery which is an excellent place to grab a beer and a bite!

I had previously made a bad post. I appologize to Best Western. I didn't use some amenities correctly. This is a good place to stay\parking. Close to the airport.

Best place I have stayed at all year. Great to get back to traditional stays or maybe its me visiting questionable hotels, might say much about me, oops. Vending machines, ice machines, free coffee and breakfast. And the executive court could host a wedding easily. Check out my videos. Represents the property well.

Located a bit of a distance from the heart of Manchester, but that was fine with me because the city is not tremendously delightful. The place is clean, well run, and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast is great, really great I would most certainly return.

Quiet location. Rooms clean and they service room DAILY!! We skipped breakfast, too crowded and pets in dining area was turnoff for us. Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here. Great value!

This hotel is one of the best I have been to. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay here again anytime. Great atmosphere all the way around.

My fiancé and I stayed in the whirlpool suite and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We did have issues with the jets not working in our tub, but the manager Stephanie was very helpful in upgrading our room during our next stay to make up for that. The jets worked during my second stay and it was so relaxing having a whirlpool tub right in our room! The staff was very friendly during check in and check out and we will definitely be back to this hotel in the future.

Staff was friendly and upbeat. Rooms were clean and large comfortable beds. Hot tub in the room was a great bonus!

The check in was quick- staff very nice. However once we got into the room it had a very bad odor coming from underneath the sink. There was a thing ( dont know proper name) to catch leaking water, it had old brown disgusting water sitting in it.

Had the jet tub room it was amazing! The tub was right next to the bed. Had a great time.

The hotel staff were polite and professional. The bathrooms were significantly out of date. The hallways were like off roading they were so uneven. The parking lot had significant amounts of trash. The area off the indoor pool to relax outside had no fence since it had been destroyed likely long ago and never repaired or replaced.

Great hotel, called prior to getting there made reservation extremely nice on the phone. Check in by a different person again very friendly , pleasant, and courteous. Room was on the high end of quality for a Best Western and I stay in them all over the country , very nice room. Indoor heated pool. Breakfast I. The morning. I got my snack bag upon checking without asking. All around 5 stars plus 1. ****** . Extremely large property with room tractor trailer parking . Would definitely recommend.
