Truist Field (Former BB&T Ballpark)
Former BB&T Ballpark, Truist Field is a large ballpark in Charlotte, NC. The baseball stadium is the third major sports venue in Uptown Charlotte, after Bank of America Stadium of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers and Spectrum Center of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets. The city also offers an ideal spot for Charlotte Checkers fans a short drive away, in Bojangles’ Coliseum.
Many people still know it at BB&T Ballpark, but it actually changed its name in 2020 due to the merger with SunTrust in 2019. So, the official name is Truist Field (not to be mistaken for Truist Park, the ballpark in Atlanta). The ballpark is located at 324 S Mint St, Charlotte, NC 28202, a short walk away from the city center. If you wish to use public transit to reach the former BB&T Ballpark, use the LYNX Blue Line; the 3rd Street/Convention Center station is within walking distance from the ballpark.
Visitors who are searching for a convenient parking spot near Truist Field/BB&T have plenty of car parking options. See below for all the public parking information.
