The High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia is one of America’s leading art museums. Also known as “The High,” it houses over 17,000 pieces of classic and contemporary art, as well as photography installations. If you want to check out its permanent collection or any exhibition, our High Museum of Art parking guide will help you find the most convenient parking spot in the area.

The High does not have its own on-site parking lot, so parking can be tricky if you aren’t prepared. Discover and compare the best parking lots in the area, or get tips on how to utilize public transportation if you’re looking to forego parking entirely.

The museum sits at the following address: 1280 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.

High Museum of Art Tickets

General admission at The High costs $16.50, and you can purchase tickets through the High Museum of Art website. Veterans, active-duty, reserves, and retired members of the US Armed Forces (with a valid ID), children under six, and members enjoy free admission. The High members also receive discounts on dining and shopping and free access to lectures and programs. Yearly memberships start at $83 for individuals.

Same-day re-entry is allowed for all museum visitors. Tickets are valid from the printed entrance time through the end of operating hours on the day of your visit. We recommend dedicating at least two or three hours to seeing the entire collection.
