The couches, uh no. But they added aquarium mammals. I'm on my way to pick up my fiance tonight. Also, get some safe planes.really not those terrible ones. And what happen to peanuts or pretzels?

Love this airport! Simple and easy to fly in and out of as well as drop off and pick people up. Cell phone lot is right next to terminal and very easy to use. You mess something up...just drive around the short loop and start over. Our first pick is here over Cleveland and Pitt.

Wow, like this airport was great. I was thru and on the plane in less than 15 minutes. Totally contradicted everything everyone told me. I totally recommend this airport. I was so relieved.

This airport is very accessible to get to and that is why I love it. It’s very modern and is small so it doesn’t have tons of people trying to get where ever where. TSA officers were very kind and moved very quickly to get the people on my flight inside the airport.

I love the convenience of this airport. The smallness of this location is a plus. Getting through the very friendly and professional TSA officers is a breeze. As you exit the security check point you have Gates 1 and 2 on the right. The rest of the gates are upstairs where you can use the elevator or escalators. You have a business center, children play area, along with a couple of places to get food and drinks. There are multiple restrooms in this upper location. They are still adding to the space. The parking is very reasonable long-term is $12.00 and covered short term $13.00. The covered parking is closer to the departure gates. The rental cars are lined up outside with easy return.

We flew out of CAK last week. I was so proud of our airport! It is so clean and beautiful, truly a great first impression of our area for incoming people to see.
From the shuttle driver who was very friendly, and at our space in the parking lot, waiting to take us to the terminal, to take-off, it was a perfect experience.
There are so many airports that I have been in that I cannot say that.
Akron Canton Airport is a true gem in our community!

Use to fly out of this airport all the time back about 10 years ago. Flights have really gone up in price here... but this time I was finally able to find a decent deal instead of having to go to Cleveland. Airport is clean and extremely simple to maneuver. Many of the shops were not open. I found that odd being it was the middle of the day. If you can find a decent fight price, this airport is great to fly out of.

We had a delay with a flight from Orlando and missed our connecting flight on March 23, 2024 . Wasn't sure where luggage was but called the next day to make a claim because there was no one around when we finally made it there to pick up our vehicle at like 2 am . The customer service lady was amazing. I wish I would have remembered her name but she took my information and had 4 pieces of our luggage delivered to our home and my sons home the same day today! Amazing service . She took what could have been a very stressful situation and handled it with professionalism and grace.

Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) is a regional airport located in the Akron area. The airport is very easy to navigate since it’s such a small airport offering a variety of flights to places around the country. The TSA agents were the friendliest and most productive team I’ve ever seen. Most of the times, the lines are less than a ten minute wait allowing people to get to their gate quickly.
The food at the restaurants and stands within the terminal are very good, but can be expensively priced. I ordered tater tots, they were pricey but had a great taste to them. I also got a bagel that came with cream cheese and the worker cooked it correctly and it was delicious.
The bathrooms are the most sanitary I’ve seen in an airport. The sinks were kept clean and the toilets looked brand new. The paper towel dispensers were well stocked and made it easier to wipe my hands.
Overall Akron-Canton is a better airport to fly out of because it’s easier to navigate, has great food options and amenities, and is a safe environment for travelers.

Akron-Canton Airport is a small regional airport that has a decent selection of flights including non-stop flights to North Carolina, Florida, etc. The airport is clean and staff is friendly. Getting through security is quick here. Since my last time passing through, the airport has been remodeled and now includes a sit-down restaurant with a bar which is helpful if you arrive a little too early for a flight.

I missed my flight because of a faulty print error therefore thinking my flight was at gate 3 but actually at gate 8. I’m not a frequent flyer so I wasn’t savvy enough to catch it. Fortunately I didn’t have to purchase another ticket. Dominic and Heather from American Airlines booked me another flight for a few hours later and I’ll make it home tonight. They were more apologetic and sympathetic and courteous. I’m never one to complain about a closed door. God moves the chess pieces in our lives to his will and often to our benefit. It’s all good American Airlines in Akron Canton,OH.

Great airport...easy to get around. My only complaint is if you are flying with cremated remains jyst know ahead of time they will get flagged going through TSA. I inquired days before we flew and I wish they would have told us this was protocol. I get it, but I wasn't prepared for this emotionally. This was my mom and it just hit me hard as they put the box she was in through several inspections.

Kelly is such a beautiful soul at Akron Canton Airport! This lady was such a great help to myself and my husband who accidentally booked two flights with his name on it. She immediately took charge to contact support services to get us a credit and rebooked my flight for me as she continued to help other passengers as well! Airport mess ups can be pricey and overwhelming but she legit made this a BREEZE! I’m just so grateful for all her effortless help! She needs a raise TODAY!

Clean and well organized airport. Roads and parking lots are well marked. Returned a rental car easily. Terminal is bright and clean, friendly staff. Made it through security and to the gate very quickly. Wish all airport experiences were this smooth.

Close, convenient, and smooth. Constantly improving, I've watched this airport grow as I have over the years. Unfortunately DELTA is not flying from or to CAK hopefully they will return soon. Hard working staff keep the airport very clean. There are family bathrooms as well as a newly added pet relief center. Play area for children, and sensory room for special needs. A spacious office with a door, 🖨 printer, and desks to allow for focus on those lats minute business projects. Multiple large bathrooms 🚻handle demand well and then some. Super clean and well equipped with handicap ♿stalls, and child changing stations. Currently all parking is focused on SHORT TERM LOT both long term A &B are closed.

Great airport. Walked right into tsa with no line. Through security in less than 2 minutes. Pretty much everything was closed at 6pm, there was 1 restaurant open and vending machines. Would love to use this airport more since I live minutes away. It typically is more expensive to fly here from Orlando than it is to Cleveland. Breeze was nice but definitely need more flight options to Orlando! Both flights I was on was full. The airport recently went though remodeling and an expansion. It was super dead when I was there, but the facilities were nice.

They have the friendliest TSA team I’ve ever experienced! They treat you like a human being and not like cows being pushed through a chute. They joke with you and make the process very pleasant, and I appreciate that so much! The airport is clean and easy to navigate, and it seems that everyone who works there is content in their jobs. I love that I get to call Akron-Canton my go-to airport!

If you’re from the Youngstown area and need to choose an airport between here, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh, this is the way to go (especially since my flights were the cheapest flying from CAK). Parking was easy, and I immediately got the shuttle to the terminal and the same for when I returned. Shuttle drivers are really polite. Security checkpoint is nice and quick. I got in and out of it within a few minutes and had plenty of time to spare before my flight. I honestly did not need to get there 2 hours before my flight like it’s recommended because security is quick. Not to mention the TSA officers are very polite. For a smaller airport it has enough food and drink in case you need something before your flight and there’s plenty of room to sit in the terminal as well. It’s kept clean, nice and quiet, and just overall very easy to navigate.

Wow I've Flown out of Akron Canton Most of my life But after Trying to fly out of Cleveland this morning and my 1 star experience. CAK was a night and day different everyone was so friendly and polite everything was so clean and well maintained. Super comfortable as soon as we walked in we felt like we were treated better then Cleveland made our stressful morning and horrible experience with spirit over booking our flight and wasting a whole day of vacation a little less bad thank you to the employees of Akron Canton Airport.

All around good airport with 9 gates. Always quick security and an easy walk to the gates.
More and more amenities have been added over the years. Currently, there are good food and drink options available during the day.
Also, plenty of restrooms and refillable water stations.

Lovely airport! It's been a while since I've flown through here and I was impressed with all the renovations, enhancements, and cleanliness.
The long term parking shuttle was ready to pick us up as soon as we parked.
TSA was fast and jovial at 4 in the morning. Coffee was hot and fresh.
I kind of wish all of my airport experiences were like this; the Akron/Canton area is very lucky to have this little gem of a terminal.
