During a very difficult time my Wife , Our chicken and I stayed at the Mainstays. Not only was ALL of the staff very receiving and attentive to our needs but , Made us feel cared for. The manager Kristina went above and beyond for us finding services in the area that were needed . The housekeeping staff never rushed and took very detailed care of our rooms. .Thank you Mainstays staff and management for making our transition to Tennessee a peaceful one .

Front desk clerk that checked us in Friday was very nice. I signed in and was not told either online or in person that they charge a $100 deposit. Nasty surprise to get when I arrived home. When we checked out, this should have gone away. Update- it went away after I was home. Halls had dirty carpet and paint. They are renovating. Bed was comfortable but needed to be flipped and there was an uncomfortable indentation on edge. Shower needed more water pressure. Kitchen needed silver. Air was in the living room. Did have a loud fan that sucked air to bedroom. I was pleased that they had a full breakfast but powdered eggs and no bacon. Too small dining room and when full, line. I told clerk when I got there that phone was dead - no reaction. I would stay there again after renovation. Close to restaurants and venues.

The Mainstay in Alcoa is a great adorable option for the areas hotels the hotel itself is under new ownership and the new owner Mr. Patel is really trying to turn the place around updating the hotel as well as the member experience a lot a reviews are bad for the hotel needing updating but I feel what the hotel lacks in updating it makes up for in its friendly staff and cleanliness being a diamond member with choice I expect great service and at Mainstay you wont have many issues if any at all when you do have an issue Mr. Patel and his friendly staff will get right on it making sure your experience as a customer a great experience and that you are well taken care of

Remote work and pet friendly for the win! For all the one star reviewers, its a two star hotel on a highway, people! Go pay more for a room somewhere else and stop tearing this place down. Hospitality is low on staff nationally. You get what you pay for.

It employees extremely kind staff. They have a kitchen island / desk set up in the room with a computer chair that makes working remotely extremely doable. They have a conference room that you can also work in, when my husband and I are in meetings at the same time, so we're not chatting over one another. It makes us able to still work our jobs. Internet is strong. This is our third stay in a year. If you ask for a second chair, two people can work facing each other with laptops, just only one monitor. Thanks for housing us during the storm with our two dogs! See you next time the power goes out in our area.

Very affordable , a wonderful solution for when you are in need quickly, and has a home like feel. The front desk manager is awesome, she keeps the convenience store stocked and is always smiling and very pleasant. So glad we have a mainstay here near the airport. Thank you mainstay staff for always being on point.

Had to evacuate from Wears Valley do to fires & was only Hotel around we could find on short notice that had a room for us & two pets. Hotel is a little outdated but clean & very quiet. Had a pleasent stay even though we was stressed out if our home was still standing or not it was fine. All the employees we encountered were very nice. Thank you for a nice stay during a very stressful time.

Me and my 2 year old are staying here for a few days to avoid a toxic situation, and the staff has been so welcoming and sweet and genuine without even knowing my situation. My daughter loves the little koi pond out front and the staff noticed so they bought extra fish food so my daughter could feed the fish.its clean and I really do feel like it's a nice temporary home away from home. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the future.

Nice and clean facility with professional and courteous staff members. Room that we had the commode was very low to the floor making it hard to remove yourself once you finish your sitting business.

Are there any near future plans to correct the commodebissue?

Very nice and accommodating.

The queen suite was exactly what I needed.

Definitely the best hotel and actually can find a room that sleep 6 people very comfortably.

Thank you guys for your hospitality.

The only issue I had, after being here a week, was that our suite only had 1 cereal bowl. From the great service we got, I am positive they would have given us another, and more silverware, had we asked, but we were very pleased with the friendliness and prompt and great service we got. The suites are very close the main highways to Knoxville and Maryville. So, if you are here on business in the area, it's easy to get to anywhere around Aurora. There are plenty of grassy, shaded areas close to the suites to walk your dogs. Lots of birds while we were there; my Merlin app picked up 15 different bird songs one morning. That surprised me because it is a kind of business park area, but it does feel more neighborhoody. Lots of restaurants around.

Not a bad hotel at all. Currently staying here with my gf and I don't see the issues people say they've been having. The people at the front counter and friendly and helpful, breakfast isn't bad, and the smell is ok. The sheets were clean when we arrived and the bathroom appeared freshly cleaned. It's no 5 star hotel but for the price it's hard to beat. Snack prices are a bit high but what do you expect

Tracy, Christina, Joy, Tristan, and Dorian are by far the best front desk staff we have ever encountered at any hotel. Wonderful accommodations and within walking distance to restaurants. Not crazy about the area of Alcoa due to construction and bored cops looking for something to do in a dry county but the hotel itself is a great solution to an overwhelming problem here in East Tennessee, which is mass evictions and displacement due to landlords selling property without tenants knowledge, and thankful to mainstay and its staff plus Dorian makes an amazing breakfast. Thank you all for everything. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

We stayed for two nights while in town for a concert series at The Shed. We loved it. It was just what we needed. Amy went above and beyond for during our stay. She is the reason we will return.

The hotel was under some construction, but it was in no way a hassle or inconvenience to our stay! The bed was super comfy, the air was cold, and I love being able to swing the TV toward the bed to relax and watch. The room was a little dated with the curtains and appliances but they all worked just like they should and I SLEPT GREAT! Would totally 100% stay here again.

Tracy at the front desk went way beyond to help me find a more suitable room not so far away due to my health issues. She was by far the best asset of this hotel. Special mention to Charlene and Nakia.

There were not suitable dishes for those expecting to use the kitchen. The breakfast is only a muffin and breakfast bar, there is not fruit or milk, just coffee and juice.

Overall, as I stated before, the staff is the best part of this property.

Very pleasant staff. Construction workers everywhere due to local construction.. they've soiled the carpeting everywhere in lobby lobby, elevator, and room.. clean room though..

Stayed here for 10 weeks March and April 2022 for business. Back again for a couple of months. New owner. Hotel is MUCH better. Breakfasts are actually warm. Overall cleanliness is excellent. They're remodeling the place too (new carpets in rooms, etc). Service is great...a 180 turn from the last time I stayed here. I'm thoroughly impressed.

After staying there for a bit, I can say it was pretty damn solid. I was surprised. Everything worked, no bugs, and like 90% of the staff were great. For the price, you can't really beat it. Not sure why all the bad reviews. This is a 5/5 for the price. Also, looked like they were finishing major renovations. Even better for future folks. My room hadn't been renovated. It was normal, but I liked it. Comfy bed, good heat/AC, hot shower. Only major beef: The internet seemed to kick me off about every 1-6 hours, but i could just click Reconnect and all was good. But gave me about 30 sec downtime. But still 5/5 compared to the other places I've stayed on the road for work.

I went there for a baby shower. I didn't know they had a room you could rent. Thats pretty cool. They were very nice at the desk when i asked about it. The front lobby was neat and tidy. Even had an area with tables and chairs for the breakfast bar. If all the others are like this one and in an area i might travel to and in my budget I just might stay at it. A lot sais about a place when you are greated nicely, its neat and tidy on the out side AND especially on the inside. Thank You....
