Great place to park. My only complaint, I have to walk all the way around the building to get back to the shuttle. There is no back door for one to walk though the lobby.

The staff are very kind specially Mrs. D Campos she is the clening lady. She was so awesome. I came with my daughter for a mini vacation. Before she starts school.The only thing the walls are very thin we could hear their conversations that wasn't great.

Love this room! Stayed on the 12th floor, hand an amazing view from the top of the tower. The layout was circular and super cool, very different than anything I’ve stayed in before. Breakfast is in the Penthouse and it’s delicious! Tables are elegant with a view of the city.

Parked here for 7 days because I was flying out of state from the Long Beach airport. I did not purchase online but instead had walked in. The staff, particularly the Filipino lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. She advised me that the shuttle wasn’t operating that day, offered to have a taxi pick us up to take us to the airport and would cover the cost. Was given a parking placard to hang on the dash, and when I returned to the lobby, the taxi was there waiting for me.

Very nice experience at the Long Beach airport location. The staff was very kind and helpful, checking in was a breeze. They offered me a free taxi because I thought I was unable to use their free shuttle service but in the end I used the very nice shuttle service to the airport. The hotel is very nice!

Maggie was by far the best member of staff at the hotel! She made sure we changed to a better room and always said Hi to us and smiled! Just a lovely person! Great customer service! The rest of the staff should follow her lead! We moved from a 3rd floor to a 12th floor room! Housekeeping was incredible! They always made sure the room was impeccably cleaned with fresh sheets, towels and beds made! The swimming pool was the highlight for my daughter in the neighbouring hotel, which is connected to the holiday inn, with laundry rooms available which made the 2week stay easier! The restaurant at the top had great views of the city and of the planes landing at the airport! The food was good and service was friendly. Generally for working professionals and short stays. Not necessarily a great one for families but it was convenient for us as we wanted to stay in east long beach for visiting family. We could hear the planes taking off on the runway and the near by 405 freeway. So not quiet. But I personally loved being next to the little local airport! My only issue. Windows should be cleaned (Great view of the city but the windows are tiny and not clean) The windows in the penthouse restaurant are clean but not the room windows?

No issues. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean. It is an order hotel, but that is reflected in the price per night. I have no complaints, it was nicely located where I needed it to be and they had enough snacks in the lobby to make my night comfortable.

Next to everything you need to travel to that's essential. They're currently remodeling some parts of the hotel at the time of this post. It has some areas that could use some TLC. But overall you're safe with security in the parking lot watching vehicles and the hotel has a shuttle service.

Was only there one night coming off a cruise. Rooms were very nice, very clean all staff were very helpful,friendly and pleasant. Staff in restaurant took care of you as if you were the only one there and it was a buffet breakfast but they still came by and asked if they could bring us anything and then brought it to us. They were very attentive.They had a shuttle to airport that felt very personalized to me. The girls at the desk set it up for us driver met us in the lobby so had door to door service.I would definitely recommend this hotel I was very pleased with my stay.

The hotel is great with the rooms having their own view and directly centered of the building are 2 elevators. The top floor is the back and restaurant with 360 view. On the ground level there are restaurants, Starbucks and gas station across the street.

This holiday inn is a lot bigger than a lot of the other ones and is very conveniently located near the Long Beach airport. They have a shuttle to and from the airport every 30 min. The view from the penthouse bar / restaurant is fantastic. The staff were quite helpful.
The rooms are not very sound proof and we had a lot of noise in the room. There was a biker conversation or something going on and despite being on the 12th floor, we were disturbed by the sound of the bikes. We could also hear people talking in the rooms next to us and they were not really shouting.
The bar has a limited selection of food and the restaurant only appears to be open for breakfast.

Great Customer Service. The staff who checked us in was so friendly and very personable. The rooms (and public restrooms) were clean and quiet. They also have a nice lounge. Only thing I missed was having a vending machine on our floor. But I would definitely recommend this place.

I thought it was nice that they gave my partner and I cold drinks because we had to wait in a long line to be checked in
I was disappointed that the breakfast I paid for with my reservation wasn't a hot breakfast like I expected. They were nice enough to refund the cost of it due to the misunderstanding.

The facility was very nice but it was under construction so a lot of the property was closed off. The parking lot is hard to get out of but the staff are friendly and v work quickly and efficiently. The room was immaculate and a fairly decent size. I would stay there again

Only stayed for one night but I enjoyed my stay. The front desk staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean with a desk and a wardrobe, making it ideal for a longer-term stay. There is a complimentary shuttle that will take you to and from the airport, but unfortunately I didn't find out about it until after I had already ordered my Uber to the airport. At least next time I'll know, lol.
There is a bar on the penthouse floor with a beautiful view overlooking the city. They have a decent selection of drinks but a very limited food menu; however, the food is excellent.

Airport hotels are usually terrible. I was a few drinks in, so I can't tell you if the planes are that loud. I didn't hear them. Only saw the strip in the morning from the view at breakfast. Updated rooms. Curtains work damn well. That's a must in every city hotel. A/C worked damn well. That's another critical point. Standard firm and soft pillows like every other HI or HIE property. Bed and linens were clean and soft. If my roommate and I didn't snore so damn loud, would have been an excellent night's rest. Breakfast was actually a buffet that made you kind of smile after eating it. Definitely not amazing, but white cloth and service for beverages. Pancakes, potato hash, scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, pork sausage, thick cut bacon. The other stuff they usually have. It would be worth the stay after a night out in downtown LB. Late checkout included. Costco was a mile away, so went to fill up in the morning too. Only thing was the shape of the hotel, made for smaller rooms than usual.

My parents came to visit from Guatemala, and we made a reservation to celebrate their 43th wedding anniversary. The staff was very accommodating with a nice view, letting us in early to decorate and prep the place.
Unfortunately, a family emergency occurred, and they had to check out 1 day earlier. SHAUN was very helpful to help us with refunds. He was even willing to use a translator (my parents only speak Spanish).

This place was great except for the location. Breakfast in the penthouse was amazing with a beautiful view in midsummer. It was convenient but didn’t feel very safe going in and out at night time. I always recommend a HIE because they are consistently good.

Major problems were the lack of parking in which you have to pay for, why pay for parking when we aren't even guaranteed parking at the hotel. The second level parking had this weird ledge on the ramp to get up and it scraps the bottom of the car and makes a terrible noise. Rooms were clean and nice, a lot of towels but not a lot of toilet paper. Loved the fitness center, pool, jacuzzi and grill. 4/5

Everything about this place was great. When I called I got great service, when we checked in we got great, friendly service, when we had a question they were very friendly, when we checked out we had great, friendly service. They are located 5 minutes from the Long Beach Airport and right off the highway. There is also a restaurant here, which we didn't eat at. But also within walking distance is plenty of other places to eat. This place is worth every penny spent. The beds are very comfortable, you will just melt into the bed. They also have a shuttle to the airport and to the cruise port.

It is a good deal rooms are average in terms of size, carpet, and walls. The restroom is actually great remodeled and well equipped. The missing star is for insulation as you hear a lot of noise between the rooms and from outside. I had a problem in the reservation and the problem was resolved though.

The room at the top of the building with a view was the perfect location for us. We had delicious appetizers and a hosted beer and wine bar. All of our guests had positive comments. I was there for a formal event with sit down dinner. The food and service was on point! The dinner was very good. I had the chicken and was surprised how good it was, red velvet cake for dessert. Not once did I have to ask for my water to be filled which I appreciated since I don't drink soda pop or alcohol.
I recommend this hotel highly if you are staying in the area.

Room size was very nice even the bathroom bathroom was not smalle at all the only thing I didn't like with my desk chair which I think need to be replaced. End the ice maker not on the floor. And some other guests are not very considerate specially with the smoking. Overall I will give it 4 stars.
