All three garages at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport share one rate table. Since July 1, 2026, parking 8 hours or more costs $29, so a week of full 24-hour days costs $203. The first 15 minutes are free, and the 8-hours-plus rate rises to $30 on July 1, 2027.

HDOT's calculator on the HNL Parking page bills each full 24-hour block at the 8-hours-plus rate and prices any leftover time from the hourly table. No weekly or monthly car rate is published, so longer trips add up day by day.

The July 2026 change added $2 a day and $14 a week for overnight parkers, while stays under 6 hours cost the same as before. HDOT says the increases follow a rate agreement negotiated in 2018 with its parking concessionaire. ParkingAccess can book no HNL lot and logged no quotes for these garages from June 17 to September 15, 2026, so there is no ParkingAccess price to compare.
Where are the Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and International garages, and how do you reach the terminals?
You walk; the garages sit at the terminals, so no shuttle is involved. HDOT places the Terminal 1 Parking Garage adjacent to Terminal 1, the Terminal 2 Parking Garage directly across from Terminal 2, and the International Parking Garage directly across from the International Arrivals Building.

In the Terminal 2 garage, walkways on level 4 at both ends and in the middle lead to Terminal 2, with ground-level access at the same points. If the Terminal 1 garage fills, drive up to level 6 and cross the vehicle bridge into the International garage, which holds 1,800 spaces. HDOT puts total airport parking at about 5,924 stalls.

Two projects are worth watching. HDOT plans to rehabilitate the Terminal 2 parking structure's top-level concrete and upgrade its electrical and drainage systems, and expects to put the work out to bid in the third quarter of 2027; the modernization program lists it in design. A new 3,500-stall employee structure off Ualena Street is estimated for completion in 2029.
Who should skip HNL's garages?
The garages fit anyone who wants to walk straight to a terminal and can pay $29 a day. They are a poor fit for drivers only picking someone up, motorcyclists, tall vans that will not clear the Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 entrances, and trips longer than 30 days.
