TSA and the staff at PJs were super nice. I also enjoyed the art gallery. Overall great experience, but I did have one gripe: No toilet paper in the bathroom; I had to use one of those toilet seat paper things (not sure what it’s called). They even had a bathroom attendant just there chillin. Cool place tho 4/5 stars.
Great experience. Small but thorough in secure. TSA is courteous and respectful. I travel though there alot and it is always the same.
Had to pick up the Florida team for events this weekend from a chartered flight and the staff from the office to the ground crew we're outstanding! They took great care of the team.
American staff and TSA agents are AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for helping my harried late crazy looking self get onto the plane today! At any point someone could have said flat out no, thankfully no one did they went above and beyond even allowing me to drag my big suitcase through and gate check it for me. Wonderful customer service from everyone I encountered. Thank you!
Service was excellent and fast! Very clean and sanitary, masks are a requirement, If you forgot yours they have them there. The crew and staff were excellent and very courteous. Would definitely recommend and use again.
While this does not reflect on the airport itself, but the four car rental agencies are not open 24/7 while online you can book a car for pick-up any time, night or day. We arrived at close to midnight to pick-up from Avis only to find they had already closed at 11 PM. We had to return to the airport the next day for the rental car. This was a hassle and unimpressive. While the airport was clean and staff were helpful when they could be, the experience was significantly lessened by the interactions with the Avis representative.
When I arrived to the main car rental counter at the airport (next to the baggage claim), around the end of 2018, I spoke with a customer service representative from Budget Rent-a-Car who was helpful, but there was a customer service representative that I overheard from a car-rental agency that was next to Budget (I believe it was Enterprise) that was harassing a lady. The person said the following: "At this point all I want to know is if you are going to go to church." There was some time in between the two statements. "You know, I hear that people returning from Afghanistan with PTSD find meditation to be very useful." The lady exclaimed, "Take me out of this place!" and she paced back and forth in front of the counter once or twice. There were periods where they seemed to be waiting for a response. I'm unsure what they were waiting for. I was at the time concentrating on resolving the issue of the automobile I had rented that purportedly had a one way fee I wasn’t previously told about. The Budget Rent-a-Car attendant was very helpful as she waived that type of fee I had never been charged before. I would give Budget five stars according to the service they provided me. However, I feel somewhat guilty that I didn’t step in to help the nearby lady. I believe that type of harassment, if that’s what it was, shouldn’t happen, especially at the airport.
I fly in and out of BTR 3 to 4 times a year. It is always a quick and seamless process. The staff is always so friendly.
Looks nice and i am sure once awesome but seems a broken airport. Car return on 4th level of garage with two broken elevators but not labeled broken. Fun taking a 40lb bag down 4 flights of stairs after you give up waiting for it. Escalator was broken last month when i was here...still broken. At the gate, A2 something broken, move to A4. But no intercom or computer working at A4 so attendants must yell to board. The jetway...that familiar odor of urine just before you board. Folks are super nice and friendly but its simply sad the infrastructure and no urgency to know what is normal operational quality.
Smaller airport which makes for easier parking & less traffic headaches. Gift shop has a nice selection of local food & seasonal items to take back home. Most Charging port stations are stand alone & do not have seating.
This airport a bit of a ghost town. Very small. Not many amenities. Eat before you show up. Place is clean, but seating is old, rickety, and sad.
My greatest concern is that there is no safe place to get gasoline anywhere near the airport. Pumps are dry, or cash only, which meant unfriendly territory for us. Get your rental car gas a couple exits early.
I love our BTR airport. It's nice to have no wait & avoid walking the Jericho mile to get to your gate.
Great place to fly in & out of. Easy access to rental cars. Small planes only fly into & out of BTR.
It a nice airport and easy to get to. Can find my way in and out of it
