I absolutely understand shutting down the bar during covid, I understand shutting down the restaurant, but to make paying guests on each floor share a microwave? Making strangers share cooking equipment with each other, in a pandemic? The room is advertised as having a microwave. I would appreciate being able to heat up a meal in my room if the hotel would like to discontinue their meal service. Will never stay at a Sheraton again.
First pic of advertised room - second pic showing microwave that had to be borrowed from the floor.
Always love my stay here. Rooms are clean and the staff is great. Always get a good night sleep.
It wasn’t an exceptional stay. The bathroom was very nice. The bedroom had some down sides. The wall beside the ac unit has some water damage as well as the ceiling above the bed. And the headboard was very unstable. It almost fell off. Oops. I also had to plug in the phone to contact the front desk. Pretty cool location though.
Front desk is very nice. Rooms clean beds are softer then (normal) ones by a bit. wish the elevator was bigger.
The staff are unfriendly. At this time the pool is closed and the restaurant is closed and they do not offer breakfast. I am a Platinum Elite member and very unhappy with the way Marriott is handling this pandemic. The hotel room had dirty socks in the closet which was really disgusting. I had 2 rooms booked and my guests in the other room were granted the same benefits of my status, once they verified, which seems to me that personal information should not be disclosed. There were people outside in the small picnic area that were being Extremely Loud and cursing and I brought that to the attention of the front desk they seem to care less. I had young children with me so it was very inappropriate. I would avoid this hotel as you have many options of hotels in that area.
The room was nice but I didn’t like the pillows.. mostly flat. I’m giving one star because my credit card was charged more than what I was quoted when I checked in and what I signed for. Maybe this hotel is charging more hoping that their customers don’t check their credit card statement. The hotel industry is suffering due to the Covid Pandemic and maybe these “accidental overcharges” are a way for them to recoup some extra money... I don’t appreciate being overcharged for something I didn’t authorize... thankfully there are plenty of other hotels in the area in which to stay as I Would Not recommend this location... and If You do stay here (they are Pet Friendly) be Sure you check your Credit Card closely to ensure they Don’t Over Charge You, as they tried to over charge me!
The hotel was great about enforcing masks. They had signs to only travel in elevators with those in your party. They had hand sanitizer available in numerous locations. The rooms were nice. Bright white bed linens. Comfy bed and pillows. Most of the staff was wonderful and friendly. Only thing that would be negative about this hotel is that we saw multiple times one worker allowed people to prop open the side exits - if those guests had a hotel room card they wouldn’t need to prop open the door. This particular staff member ignored the complaints. Wish we would’ve gotten his name.
Nicole and Mike were very attentive to our needs. They were both very observant about the comings and goings of guests and people that were not registered. Mike was especially enjoyable to interact with!!!
