The smallest airport I've ever been to. They have 4 gates. Once we got to enterprise to pick up the car, we had it within 5 minutes, security was a piece of cake, wish all airports were like Bismarck!

Small airport so no need to arrive terribly too early however the TSA took the longest time to check bags. I mean literally they scan your bag and take about 3-4 minutes to look at every bag. So even though I only had 3 people ahead of me it still took about 20 minutes to get through.

Great experience at this airport. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s a smaller airport, and sadly no play area for toddlers/younger children like the Minot airport. There is a small gift shop/place to buy food. Pre-TSA there are some cool dinosaur fossils/skeletons.

Wonderfully small, typically quick lines. Usually 60-90 minutes is all you need to plan ahead to catch a flight. There is a bar that serves snacks and a gift shop.

Most of the staff seemed impatient and grumpy, the only little shop was closed for most of our 3hr delay, and it was pretty hot by gates 3-4.
The lady at the bar area was super friendly, though, and it did not take too long to get bags checked, or getting through security. All was seamless.

Living in Texas by DFW Airport, and flying out of it too, made my son and I truly appreciate how small Bismarck Municipal Airport is. It's very clean and so well maintained. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We neded to rent a car, that was very easy to do and also getting to our rental wasn't too difficult either. It's a small airport but it's ran so efficiently that it gives DFW a run for its money. We really enjoyed flying into and out of it.

Love this airport. Just a handful of terminals, so not busy, has cafe, car rentals, long term parking. Black Star LLC has a private hanger available for private planes and shuttle service around town because Uber is not always available.

It's a small, historic regional airport, extremely clean, the staff are extremely polite and friendly, check-in was very quick, it's very organized and well signposted, there's a small exhibition of dinosaur fossils that lived here in the state of North Dakota. Every airport has wheelchair access, a small restaurant and a small convenience store for shopping.

CLEAN and organized airport. It feels like home inside, you have desks to work, a couch to watch TV, a bar, a gift shop, a game room… just a cozy nice airport just how North Dakota feels.

Missed my original flight- Delta agent that rebooked me was incredibly helpful. My fault but she didn’t make it feel that way. She had to book on separate segments which took way more time. She then became the gate agent! Working everywhere! Airport is clean and well maintained-

This is a very clean, well-run airline terminal. Baggage claim and rental car counters are conveniently located, with the staff very friendly and professional. I would love to see even more flight options. This could include additional airlines (Southwest, Alaska, and WestJet come to mind) as well as the existing airlines providing larger capacity aircraft and expansion of routes to more cities (Winnipeg, Billings, Seattle, and Fargo). More public transit and ride-sharing services are sorely needed, as are additional airline customer service agents at the gates to better handle oversold flights and extreme weather situations more effectively. All in all, this is a great start!

I love small little airports. In and out in no time! Never overly busy! Cool fossils and a small game room to kill some time!

Small airport makes for ease and convenience. Easy drop off and pick up and quick walk through security. There is one concourse with easy access to restrooms and plenty of seating.
The food convenience is limited and just microwaved or heated pre-packaged meals that I could see. With such easy of getting to gate, you should be able to grab something on way to airport that suites your mood and taste.
Staff was friendly - not used to that.

4 gates and a great tiny bar to hang out in. Can’t beat it, except for the cost to fly in and out of here is kinda crazy expensive! We could have flown to Hawaii for less. But… our family isn’t in Hawaii. Lol

Good airport, not very crowded. The people and staff were very friendly and helpful. Moving around in this airport was a very smooth experience. Typical small town like airport. Not the best cellphone service with T-Mobile but I was able to make some calls in certain spots. Really cool dinosaur artifacts displayed, museum type quality. Fun place to pass through

Small airport but also means shorter lines. Small cafe once past security. Easy to find your gate from the few gates available. Long term parking fee is reasonable for a week of parking. Rental cars onsite and right next to baggage claim. Cool fossils on display.

I enjoy this airport never a lack of parking and airlines seem to be well staffed. The most trouble you'll have is during winter storms could be tricky. Safe travels to all and thanks for reading.
